55 of 55 · most liked firstReview from November, 2012 This game is brought to us by the devs who brought us Magic Life (Not available on Steam at the moment). Unlike Magic Life, there is only one difficulty level, and you do not play against other characters. You also do not lose vigor or mana whilst traveling between buildings (yay!) You have one (ultimate) goal, and one only: To become human again. You will have to become influential enough to gain the information you need, and powerful enough to cast the needed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a fun game! I can't pin any specific genre to it because it's a mix of many things. It's about a town full of Vampires so I suppose that may draw some and deter others from playing. You begin by picking either male or female and then choosing from many different faces and hair colors. The game kind of feels like a simulation in the fact that you have to work at a job to earn money for everything. (By the end of the game, there are a ton of jobs to choose from). You have to rest and/or eat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not the worst vampire game ever made - having said that , this game is not Dawnguard and it is not Vampire the Masquerade. Pros- nice art glitch free simple gameplay play as a vampire vampire interior design vampire fashion design Cons- Somewhat badly written dialogues repetitive tasks very little storyline repetitive tasks can be completed in 3 hours repetitive tasks unfortunate game title
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please do not buy this 'game'. You 'play' a vampire who wants to be human. Why? Well, uh... oh! Because you have a human lover, yeah! Do you ever meet said lover? Oh. No, no you dont. So you actually have no investment in becoming human. Or any choice in the matter. In fact, the 'gameplay' largely involves becoming a more powerful vampire. I guess? There arent any descriptions for the various one-cast spells you learn, so you go to one place and click 20 times to earn some pennies. Then you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You're in love with a human. Too bad for you, you're a creature of the night, you're a vampire. The only way for you is to become human again, for that, you go to Twilight City, where you'll have to earn your life and learn spells, fighting skills or anything that can help you in your quest. If the story seems common, I don't know how it's finishing as I was victim of a bug - in other words, don't use the teleportation spell while you've casted another one. Besides, if my character was moving,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for a relaxing casual game and picked this up in a bundle. While I don't have terribly high expectations for a hidden object type of game, I still can't recommend you buy this one because it is hours of grinding (yes, grinding in a hidden object game)... Pros: + Nice art style + Nice premise (though there was no introduction to it so I was a bit lost before I figured out what was going on) Cons: - Grind, grind, grind - click the work button over and over to make money until…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel like I wasted 3 hours because thanks to a bug I can not make progress. I'm about to cast a spell but it says "you don't need to do this now". According to a Bigfish games forum post you can avoid this by casting the spell outside the city instead in a building. However I was casting the spell outside and I still got this error and because of this I can not go further in the game. At the moment I just don't feel like restarting the game, all my progress is now gone to waste and it makes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a casual-but-grindy "rpg-on-rails" with significant grinding elements (in this case, clicker). There is some similarity to Hero of the Kingdom. There is upgrading of your house, clothes, jobs, and other skills. There is some tedium to it but overall it was a pretty fun experience unlocking the many upgrades.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Travel around vampire's town while visiting different buildings. Everything costs in this game so in order to buy some stuff go to work at lab, after that work 2x or even 3x harder (no joke) until you become an expert (no joke again). You can go to tavern and eat some stuff to restore vigor and mana (demon's blood is available btw). You can buy decorations for your crypt and rest during the day (but there's always night). Take on a missions at city hall. Get a pet, choice is divided between…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, I loved it as a silly casual clicker, but there's a game-breaking bug preventing further progress. Alas. My vampire paper doll will never be human now.

Throughout the game i have had 10 blue screens!!! i am glad that my system is still ok after that. the only thing that got messed up were some of my system folders having black background behind them :/ I was ok with the grindy aspect of the game. I wouldn't call it an HOG as it really only had 3 HO…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played enough time management games and HOGs to notice that most of them are basically clones of each other. The gameplay is very similar and there's very little innovation. Don't get me wrong - it's completely alright to want to play something that's "almost the same" as the previous sequel but sometimes, I just long for something different... ...and then comes Twilight City: Love as a Cure! This game feels a lot like a hybrid game containing multiple genres with its main focus being a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a decent HOG..I played it 8 hrs non stop which I tend to do on all HOGS, so i need to make sure I have a lot of time on my hands to start one lol. Also, I made myself an expert on all jobs after I went through the story. Just when I thought I was at the end of the story, there was one more thing I had to do, which hat drove me nuts but I finally reached the end. I am satisfied how it turned out. 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game plagued by game breaking bugs that the developers never bothered to fix years and years later. Stay away.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Granted, TC:LaaC is dated and there are nicer hybrid Point&Click/Manager games, but the visuals are still fine and the fact that I cleared it in one sitting tells me it is okay and not a total mess. From a game play perspective this is more a clicker than anything else (I think there are only 3 Hidden Object scenes in the entire game); the economy, however, is broken since you can earn any amount of money via work (I recommend to take a job in the laboratory, this allows you to buy vigor/mana…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Twilight City: Love as a Cure is a somewhat shoddy browser clicker/time management game that seems to have been dumped on Steam as a cash grab. It's got a basic web browser like 2D interface. Gameplay consists of choosing what to do with your daily resources (work to expend money or buy stuff and try to gain "progress". There's a gothic/nocturnal/vampire theme that's just window dressing for a very shallow resource/time juggling clicker. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Note: this an actually RPG with a few easy HO scenes pros + gothic settings and atmosphere + well made cut scenes + story ok + there are many interesting quests + skill system makes gameplay enjoyable. you can learn new magics, increase your skills, get better jobs and earn more money. you can buy pets, outfits, decorative items, furnitures and riding animals, too. cons - game is grind heavy and slow pacing - gameplay turn out be repetitive after a while. - there are no steam achievements…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVE this game. Yeah, ok, some people hate grinding, I get it. But if you had told me that I can play as a VAMPIRE TAILOR riding Cerberus to the store to get an armoire for his evil lair? I would not have hesitated to buy it for ONE second. SOLD. Sign me up for more of that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →12/10 - Could use some more grinding. Progression(time): 60% Grinding, yes, making some money boi! 10% Story scenes. 20% Getting spells and abilities, replenishing. 10% Doing quests.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →funny game but there is better things to do than playing this game. too many things that are pointless the only reason to buy this game is just for collection but not as a game to waste your time on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute game... I love it. It's the kind of game I like to play when I don't feel like using my brain ;-)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/YLn12rtanOI In the modern era, the word 'Twilight' means 'Vampire' and 'City' means 'Repetitive molasses' gameplay. Love still means love, as our protagonist seeks to cure themselves of vampirism to regain their mortality to be able to date their human lover. Every action requires multiple clicks to fill progress bars, but watch out each action drains different resources that require returning home to rest in order to fill those bars. This cycle wears thinner than the plot…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this game. The storyline was pretty weak but it was good to find a game I where I could have my own avatar and work my way up in this gothic vampire setting. I wish there were more games like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Accidentally stayed up playing all night. 10/10 would not sleep again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for simple relaxing game, mixture of clicker, intertior decoration, hidden object and work then this might be something for you, Art style is also quite nice :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short game about a vampire looking for a cure to become human and live with his/her true love. Twilight City will offer several jobs and shops to customize your character and your home and several abilities to increase and spells to learn in order to complete some quests. The game's title is certainly unfortunate and the gameplay is repetitive but the character design is good and the possibility to buy pets and furniture together with the spells and quests makes this game a curious mix between…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Twilight City: Love as a Cure is a supernatural adventure developed by Meridian’93 and published by Fulqrum Publishing that blends hidden-object gameplay, point-and-click exploration, and light survival mechanics into a moody romantic narrative. Set in the shadowy city of Skylight, the game centers on a young vampire desperate to free herself from the curse that threatens both her humanity and her relationship with the man she loves. It is a story built around longing, sacrifice, and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For this one I wish there was a neutral rating available. I guess this game is for you if you're in the mood for a kinda clicker where you go through the loop of: earning money, improving your skills, learning spells for the story and back to the beginning again, regularly resting to get your health back up. No need to think too much once you've understood the mechanics of the game. Then it's even more for you if you have the patience to continue that loop till you've bought every decorations…

This is small game, without big quests and pressure, you can't fail anyway, so you're playing and relaxing. And I must say I'm satisfied) But.. if I was vampire I'll never return into mortal life))))
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this as part of a casual games bundle, so I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t call it a great game, but I had fun with it and found its particular combination of gameplay elements novel. It’s like Animal Crossing for goths. In addition to selecting your name at character creation, you also pick the gender of your avatar. It doesn’t affect the game’s dialogue, but it does determine how you look and what clothes are available for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game: 3/10 Pros: - Meh its kinda hard to write a positive review about a game with a style that I personally don't enjoy playing - Perhaps its a game you can zone out on and just point and click to without having to think to hard. Cons: - The game is extremely slow paced and resembles that of an Iphone / android game. - You wait actually in game time for money / life / energy to replenish so that you can perform more actions, although its not as painful as some of the mobile games out there,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i heard of clickers but nerver played one... and after that experience i probably never will again! it's so f***ing booring i even lost the interest in reading what was going on...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very bland... First game I've played where I can really say it wasn't worth it. Usually, even bad games I can find some bit that's interesting or unique. But not here. It was just... So meh. Whole game took me an hour and a half, and I was going out of my way to lolly gag and get all the pointless extra stuff.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was really unsatisfying. There's no intro to the story, so you don't really have a sense of what's going on. Then there isn't really much of a story the rest of the game either. You're are essentially tasked with doing the same things over and over. There is no voice acting in the game. I felt no connection to any of the characters. The game feels incomplete in the sense that you're leveling up your character, but you never really put those skills to use. This would be a lot more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked Life Quest and Magic life back in the day, you'll probably like this. Completed and bought everything in about 3.5 hours. Fun kind of game that was popular over a decade ago. You can pick this up for a single buck when it goes on sale like every other month; never buy an old game for full price... actually I don't even buy new games at full price, lol! Anyways, there are no achievements, if that's important to you. I read through some of the reviews, they're wrong, lol. There were…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very enjoyable and relaxing adventure game! Don't let the mixed reviews deter u. If u like vampires, decorating ur home and dressing up u will like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVE THIS GAME. BOTH SIMULATION WITH MANY CHOICES ONE CAN MAKE BOTH FOR CLOTHING AND ROOM DECOR. A A RARE MIX OF SIM, POINT AND CLICK AND TIME BASED ARCADE. KINDA LIKE IF VAMPIRES HAD A GOTHIC MEDEVIL TYPE OF TOWN WITH A MAGIC SCHOOL AND EVERYTHING. THINK HARRY POTTER WITH VAMPS. AND I LOVE IT.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's basically just a clicker, but it's good for a few hours of distraction.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but the quests can get a bit repetitive. Generally the game doesn't really pose much of a challenge but its a nice easy distraction for a few hours if that's what you're looking for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has nice art, but that's all it seems to have going for it. Grindfest. Little to no reward. Reviews suggest you don't get to meet the character of whom the player char gives up immortality for.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its this long as i got a glitch in game and couldnt get it off so had to start all over again this was after 5 hours odd on it and to find when i played through the second time to find i was near the end wtf its a good game but could have more to do in it its not worth full price get in sale of in bundle its not bad over all
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game seems to be made for mobile devices so it has some unnecessary mechanincs that doesn't work on PC. Basically it's kinda clicker/rpg where you gain money to learn new skills to get better job to gain more money. Repetative but I liked this game and finished it in 4.5 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Clicker - Cooldown Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Best avoided. Decent art and board-like gameplay does not make up for grindfest busywork poor writing. Repetitive. Superficial. This comes across as a waiting game which has had its wait timers removed. You can simply spam certain activities, which you can then convert the rewards for into other ressources require for abilities, which allows you to eventually replenish energy which you can spend to get…

I'd say got my money's worth. Pros: - Awesome BGM that doesn't feel as repetitive as it actually is. - Pretty damned good looking graphics even though they're not top-shelf compared to some HO games. - Horribly repetitive task system (I know, weird that it's a "pro", right?!). - A decent level of…
