Rotten Tweets (“we”, “our”, “the site”) is a movie and TV show sentiment aggregation service available at rottentweets.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Information We Collect
Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.
No Account Data: We do not require user accounts, collect email addresses, or store any personal information. There are no login forms, sign-up flows, or cookies beyond what Google Analytics sets.
Public Tweet Data: We collect publicly available tweets from X (Twitter) that discuss movies and TV shows. We store the tweet text, author handle, and sentiment classification. We do not collect private tweets, DMs, or any non-public information.
How We Use Data
Analytics data is used solely to understand site usage patterns and improve the service. Tweet data is used to calculate sentiment scores and display notable tweets on title pages. We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties beyond Google Analytics.

The only cookies set on this site are by Google Analytics for anonymous traffic measurement. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party marketing tools.
