negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For context, I put 69 hours in before the game's release on the demo and am a fairly experienced player. I've beaten the game 4 times in 7 hours so far. TLDR; This game needs some time in the oven as there are currently a few bugs and lots of room for polish and new content! This is the common sentiment you'll find in reviews at the moment however I still recommend the game the way it is now and especially looking ahead at what it will become. I'll start with content. Simulakros has 3…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Needs more time in the oven. Game runs fairly poorly even with DLSS, giving hard stutters. There's also only 3 zones from what I could tell and they are fairly repetitive. I didn't even want to unlock all the classes because I knew from what I saw that the game was just gonna be a repeat with unit variety not changing much, and zone locales not changing much either. This is really unfortunate because I really wanted to like this game, it was new and looked really cool. Unfortunately, I'll be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game bought it at launch but very unstable and still a bit buggy, guns refusing to shoot but skills still functioning hopefully some performance patches on the way soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game play loop overall and nice sense of progress on the ability trees as well. Gun play and OST are enjoyable too. Still some bugs/jank to be ironed out like sometimes the gun randomly won't fire (rarely though and not game breaking) and the enemies can sometimes get stuck on/in the environment and the environment also kinda prevents your movement from being as smooth as it should be too. Game can also use some more optimization as i had annoying FPS drops when trying to run it on more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simulakros has to be one of the most addicting games I've ever played in a long while. I'm not usually one to enjoy rogue-like games. It's not that I don't find them fun, but it's more that there just hasn't been one that's appealed to me enough to make me commit. Then I found out about Simulakros. I'm an avid Warframe player, so the sick Simulakros designs and the cool sci-fi visuals instantly caught my eye. I tried out the demo for a bit to see what it had, and next thing I know, I've got a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →devs support charlie kirk being killed in front of his family. dont support them let their business fail
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, the game hase some flaws. Yes, it seems like it is in early access. Yes, there are only 3 (totally different!) characters. Yes, there are only 3 levels and a few different enemies. BUT! The general gamepaly is sooo much fun. The weapons feel impactful, the gameplay is smooth, the game is challenging (even has an easymode). I am certain the devs are going to fix the bugs and are willing to add more into the game. I've played (at least it feels like) almost every roguelike shooter out on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →iv got 6.0 or so hours into it an loved every bit of it, the power ups, the abilities, great game for speed runners and people who want a challenge, i recommend it i played the beta an was excited when the full release came out i bought it as soon as i could :) devs are very freindly aswell
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With a little fine-tuning and balancing, Simulakros could be a real standout in the action roguelike genre this year, thanks to its silky smooth controls and super slick aesthetics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →updating my review because the things i said got fixed the day after i put up my review and i would recommend the game and if you have any issues leave a review because the devs behind it will listen and also thank you for fixing it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little game with great character designe and fun gunplay!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely loved this game! It combines fast-paced action with incredible visuals, delivering a truly engaging experience. While it could use a few minor tweaks, overall it’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is a good game at its core with fun shooting. It visually looks like something you'd see on the box for a graphics card or in a benchmark. It could still use some additional polish and fixes, but it's already improved from how it was at launch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10 - Decent Shooter Roguelite Similar to Deadlink * but with some rough edges Pros *Combo-system that encourages environmental familiarity and good tactics/awareness. *Unique cyberpunk aesthetic that looks good and feels well designed. *Guns feel good and audio-visual feedback is satisfying. *Wildly unique characters to choose and adapt to (tank/sniper/mid-range) *Persistent upgrade system for consecutive runs. Cons *Punishing NPC mobs that can auto-track you through walls and no visual…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is AWESOME! cool rogue elements neat powers and super challenging!!! there is a bit of jank, corners are hella sticky and movement is a little weird, but I've paid a lot more for a lot less of a game 8/10!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cannot Recommend at this time. Its pretty rough. Some mapping issues, basically you can get stuck on the floor in places you shouldn't get stuck on. Some powerups tend to not work at all, and theirs a few pretty BS moments if you dont know what to look out for, which is expected of a roguelite ofc. On my second run I made it all the way near the third boss but got into a massive ambush room you could not really prepare for. Four elevators, all going to the same room with 10 mobs waiting to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just picked this game up and have a couple of hours logged in, but was excited to leave a review on this game. Its a "Returnal" like game, just on a smaller scale. The gunplay is solid, melee combat is good, and you have perminent progression, and you have other charcters to unlock. Ive been playing on my Steamdeck Oled, and after tweaking the settings a bit, it runs good when i locked it out at 45FPS. Highly recommend the game, if you like indie games and are a fan of shooters and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ Great game feel, very satisfying combat. The upgrades add good variation to the runs + You have to actively search for upgrades, which makes exploration rewarding and fun and adds extra challenge to speedrunning + Visually, everything is in theme, stages (or biomes) feel distinct and introduce new enemies - Would love to see more room, enemy and boss variation. The bosses in particular are very straightforward and don't have many moves Can definitely recommend, excited to see more of this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dev is working hard to improve the game daily, and, as it is, it's a great fast paced esperience of classic run and gun games. I'd suggest you to support the game and enjoy it as it gets more and more polished.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, especially if you like roguelike shooters, skill ceiling definitely feels quite high (granted, I'm not too good at shooters), which makes me want to go back and beat my previous scores. I enjoyed seeing myself getting better at the game while discovering new combos and smart ways to play. I haven't yet played with all three characters, so I feel there's still new ways for me to play the game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had this game on my wishlist because of the demo, i thought the demo showed the game had a good foundation and showed promise; Unfortunately after buying the game and playing it, it turned out to not have any significant improvements over the demo. My biggest gripes are that the enemy designs and weapons feel uninspired, the power ups and loot are just standard stat increases, and the environment is kinda boring.

unlabelledView post →Fast and fun shooter, the amount of content is not huge but there is quite a bit of variety in terms of playable characters and powerups. It can be quite tough but that's what I expect from a roguelike!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simulakros is a compact but energetic third-person roguelite shooter built around speed, repeated runs, randomized upgrades, and increasingly powerful combat builds. Developed by Sirio Games and published by Dear Villagers, it places players inside a futuristic conflict against CORP, a massive organization developing sophisticated artificial intelligence and combat androids. With help from a mysterious hacker, the player hijacks the corporation's own Simulakros Units and turns them against…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=store.steampowered.com/app/2067160/Simulakros/]Simulakros serves as an honorable side quest more than a main event. Impulsive fights improve through a simple upgrade loop. The game curiously does not support jumps despite ample opportunities to fall down and small ledges to climb, but offers fluid combat with basic moves and a decent arsenal. Everything takes place over three distinct and colorful levels, a bit generic but nicely rendered sci-fi environments. Simple-minded enemies don't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →for a simple game it's actually really fun 10/10, it does give heatstroke to me and my pc though with how hot it can make a pc burn. Best to lower settings and play the game in window and not full screen.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →interesting little third person shooter roguelite! fun loop, feels good to play, nice, clear, engaging challenges. its nice! maybe get it on sale, but its good! worth the buy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →overall the game is really fun been told it has a little bit of a ultrakill vibe so if u like that maybe give it a try
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Challenging roguelike with very nice moment-to-moment combat!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely fantastic and beautiful game. Easily top 3 favorite rogue light game. Easy to get the hang of, yet challenging enough to give constant joy. I can tell this will be one that I will play over and over for the design and feel. Development team really deserve all the praise they can get for the masterpiece of a game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very simple but effective roguelike, with some fun variation in gameplay and a proper challenge. The guns feel good, controls feel good, audio is strong, and the devs are active and updating the game regularly and listening to feedback. The game is challenging but doesn't feel unfair to me, which can often happen with roguelites in my experience. A lot of folks talked about bugs, but I personally didn't run into any big ones - the biggest one I encountered was a few enemies floating…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pro: + Good character design, the three main androids you can impersonate are all quite cool looking + Good character kits, the three archetypes are distinct and solidly built, their weapons and skill feel good and satisfying to use + The progression system is nice, easy to unlock and allows a good degree of costumizations for your runs Cons: - The world is bland, visually nice if you don't mind a lot of neon, but uninspired, it a giant steel factory that moves into a skyscraper roof that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gave this one another chance and will say there have been some improvements and it's turned out to be a very fun TPS with Roguelite elements. I like the gameplay and sound design and the techno vibe. And the Dev is responsive and has been working out bugs. Give this one a go.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the sort of game where I feel the flaws betray inexperience with the developer, but the gameplay and design show that they 'get it'. The dev gets how they want this gameplay to feel, and succeed at it for the most part. I feel like this game took some pointers from the old Warframe, and put their spin on it. There's no jump, but there's still some verticality and drops. Your positioning matters, but you can quickly relocate if need be. Stylistically, I feel like the Sniper's suit (the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is quite unpolished and sadly the bosses and later enemies are bullet sponges and kill you quite quickly especially with the third character. You also don't have build variety and the upgrades you can get are quite uninspired like +15% damage but -200 health and such things. Normally I don't complain about difficulty but the fact that the first boss takes like 100+ hits even if you put all your levels in damage is quite stupid. PS: As soon as I gave this game a negative review the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →sadly I am stuck on the hack mission for the second time now; I hack all terminals and kill all remaining opponents, then I cant exit the room music keeps playing timer keeps running

unlabelledView post →EDIT: Changed my review from negative to positive. The game is still a bit janky, but the developers addressed my concerns so quickly that I can't help but recommend this title. It runs rather smoothly after the last update, and still maintains that "just one more turn" gameplay. It's definitely a solid roguelite, and you couldn't ask for a better price point. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Needs quite a bit more time in the oven. Weapons randomly stop reloading, enemies get stuck on a particular ramp and…
