negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: The epitome of jank and a half-baked Sekiro-like with half localization unfinished that doesn't even serve as a demo of what could be I'm a simple guy. I don't like to be super negative on games, unless they are broken, unfinished or unplayable in some sort of way and The Last Soldier of the Ming Dynasty is all of the aforementioned. For the first two hours it was OK at most. The visuals were cool and it made me feel optimistic for what to follow given this has mostly positive reviews…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2/10 - janky gameplay - janky combat - janky animations - bugs - most of the settings are in chinese - chests you cant open - items you cant pick up + art syle - game sometimes freezes when you pause in combat and takes ages to unfreeze so you can continue
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game. I just couldnt get the parry react stab down. The combat seems to be fluid enough. Reminds me a bit of the Souls games. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/yLhVgzkZ-Kg
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full playthrough here: https://youtu.be/NC2gTiTIJ0c Combat is extremely smooth I wish the intro scene was translated, and some of the dialogue is a bit weird, but the lore items do a good job of piecing the story together sadly I don't think there's a way to scroll down the page at the moment so some of the lore description gets cut off there's a few little glitches, but the game has check points everywhere and you can save so it's not a problem. Some of the bosses are challenging which is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is literally a beta, pretty awful mechanics, to bad environment, basic, no story, nothing good at this state, last update is in 2025, maybe if they keep working on this for a long time, gonna be at least something enjoyable. now 1 of 10 most.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a pretty good game, i think the devs took a look at Sekiro and thought " what if we took all of the fun parts of that game and give it a twist of our own?" The game has a really unique art style which is very well done, and all done in unity engine! However, dont expect to get the "fair but hard" treatment since late game bosses are guessing games since they attack so fast and they stunlock you to instant death At the moment of writing, translations could use a bit of work but all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is decent. I enjoy the settings and the combat. However, the save points, both the bird cage and manual saves, seem to load your character in at random points after a death or a reload. For example, after defeating a sword and sword and shield enemy, the game reloads me with the sword enemy still up and half my health gone even though I saved after defeating both enemies with full health.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The terrible first, its mainly in chinese but at least in game, its english witn sub titles. startup and menu is all in chinese...and no jump button the combat is where this game excels...the hit detection is the best ive played...its very similar to sekiro with souls like.... its a must buy if u like souls/sekiro...game is tough but very fun...and dont get any bs moments...u lost cause u messed up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It looks a little janky, the localisation is approximative and it definitely lacks a lot of polish but the core parry / riposte gameplay a la Sekiro is really well made. Better than most attempts at the souls like genre. You end up with a game that is at times both exciting and satisfying while also offering almost too many frustrating moment. Very niche and probably unable to ever break out of it but a very worthwhile release for fans of this specific style of parry souls like.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →saw this game on sale and decided to get it. i was looking for more action games that were hack and slash and came across this one. the combat caught my eye because the animations reminded me of a mix of devil may cry and lies of p. the combat itself looked like sekiro but more forgiving. overall, the game is a soulslike, has resting cages, similar combat style but instead it does point or give you much larger hints as to what you need to do and where you need to go. the game is a lot shorter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game was actually pretty great! only ~5 hours to beat it but the combat feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GREAT. seriously cannot reccomend this enough for the combat. elsewise it was aight, nothin crazy. i reccomend!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Last Soldier of the Ming Dynasty is an ambitious indie action title that brings a rarely explored period of Chinese history to the foreground. Developed by Circuit_Art and published by 2P Games, it drops players into the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty and follows a lone Qi army soldier who washes ashore after a shipwreck. Stranded on Fuling Island and surrounded by chaos, he must confront roving bands of Wokou pirate-raiders, track down scattered allies, and challenge a series of powerful…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →虽然我也想支持国产但这个做的也太落后了。画质和手感都像二十年前PS2上的游戏
