60 of 80 · most liked firstReiterating that this isn't the original version of the game - it's been watered down and rendered pretty much unplayable without following a walkthrough, as the gameplay is jumbled and event triggers are unclear. You'll find yourself tracking down tiny prerequisites you missed a lot. Kind of a hellish experience when dealing with such a linear game, especially considering it's imo one of the most enjoyable point and clicks I remember ever playing, plotwise. You'd be a lot better off tracking…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible, absolutely terrible. Never buy this game. The origional game was fantastic, I love it. This, however, is trash, complete trash. Pros: If I can think of any I'll put them here later... Cons: They took away the animated characters. Now they just sit there... Lifeless. Text bubbles that RUIN the any kinda of realism the game had left. Simplified puzzles from what the origional had. These are so dumbed down a monkey could do them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd really like to reccomend this game - But the problems it has and the cut scenes / frames of animation missing make this game tough to play on the PC. This is not the original disk version of the game that was released by other publishers instead it's been optimized for tablets and ported over to the PC. The mouse controls run too fast and there is no way to adjust this. The way you advance through some scenes makes it impossible or next to impossible to advance to other areas of the game.…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →STRIKE THREE AND YOU ARE OUT!!! FIrst it was The Last Sanctuary, THEN RESURRECTION. AND NOW THE PATH OF THE DRAGON... Pretty fed up with it!. 1st i wanted to tell everyone if you are interested in the story, plz buy the game on cd NOT STEAM! The cd version is a lot more better. CD version= NO HELP, MORE PUZZLES, BETTER INVENTORY SYSTEM, NO BUGS, NO MISSING SOUNDS. The steam version you get this dumb help thing which literally tells you everywhere/everything you can get. Takes away almost 70% of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a castrated version of the original, probably backported from the mobile. Nobody makes sense there, as 80% of the content is cut. Do yourself a favor and buy it elsewhere.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not an original version of the game. There are missing some scenes and puzzles, the controls are totally different. It is like a mobile version or something and this point the game is a trash on steam. Go to buy an original version somewhere else....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do a favor for yourself and play the DVD version if possible or buy the originals in GOG. A lot, not few, but a lot of the dialogues are cut and shortened, some fmvs are absent, and no animations in this IOS port. Lazy work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GOG has the original version of the game, steam has the mobile port, that being said i have less problems with this game than i do with the second one, no repeating audio along with some nice visual upgrades that keep the old video game aesthetic so i do enjoy it, just don't buy the steam version if this game seems interesting to you
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While this game started off promising as far as the look goes, I had a very hard time playing it. These games were known for being puzzle games. Well, they've removed the puzzles from this version. That means you're going along playing when suddenly you hit a snag because you have a feeling you're supposed to do something to progress. Except the thing you're supposed to do has been removed or - worse - half removed. I spent this entire game bumbling through almost-puzzles that made no sense.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the "remastered" version that has removed 95% of the puzzles from the original game. While this streamlines the gameplay, most puzzles end up even more obtuse than before. Many devolve into brute force trying of every inventory item. Since the puzzle removal allows you to keep mostly everything you pick up, this becomes tedious, as many items that should have been removed previously remain. The remaster also condenses all texts and illustrations into tiny, completely unreadable…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dumbed down port of the original Cutscenes are missing Play the GOG version instead
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So many puzzle that don't make sense due to some sections of the original game being cut. Try to find the original instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MICROIDS PLEASE UPDATE THIS GAME WITH ORIGINAL UNCUT VERSION . You could easily turn all the the negative ratings of the Dracula Trilogy to positive by uploading the original version of the games. I don't understand why it is available in the mutilated form it is now. This game was one of my favorite games from childhood. I totally loved it just because it was so challenging. The current generation of gamers (who rarely play games with dated graphics anyway) may enjoy everything spoon-fed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DON'T BUY IT! it's just a cut, watered down, ipad / android port. It is not the original PC release. It lacks some animations and sound effects, and the puzzles are simplified or even cut. JUST DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THIS CRAPPY PORT.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent point and click. A lot of the puzzles are cut or altered from the original disc version, and there isn't really a walkthrough for this bootleg steam version.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Though this is also a bit circumcised version of the original game, this is the best game in the trilogy in terms of graphics and playability. The story is as interesting as in the previous parts. Overall rating 9/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3/10 im also told this isnt all the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Avoid the Steam version at all costs. GOG has the original, working versions.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Again, just like part 1 and 2, this is not the complete game, but a butchered mobile port with most of the puzzles, among other things, cut for whatever reason. You can get the real Dracula 3 on gog.com. Why they do not simply offer both versions and clearly label them each as what they are but instead sell only this version here and the real game on gog is beyond me. The screenshots are from the full game, the reviews they quote are for the full game. But this is not the full game. To make…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whoever made this version of this game should be punished by Vlad the impaler himself. Please don't buy this crappy cut down iOS port version, instead get the one from GOG games. GOG has the full and complete version of this game and you will thanks me later. It's $10 for Dracula 1,2 and 3 bundle but on sale it goes dow to $2 and that's when i got it, it was a steal. So, this was more of a cautionary advice than a review. For an honest and complete review of this game go to www.gog.com…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good story though the engine while tweaked some is getting a bit dated, more forgivable in the previous two but they could have pushed more with it in this one. However I found it an enjoyable game none the less Video Review Below: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=274773723
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buying the game was a big mistake. In the steam version of the game, the best puzzles were removed, and many bugs were added instead. By all means, prefer the GOG version of the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game in the hopes of the nostalgia, however this cut mess of a game just doesn't live up to it's former self. I do not recommend Steams version of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd game, I'm sorry to say. GOG have the the originals, so much better, and so much more worth your money.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright peoples... This game is TERRIBLE! At first, playing the first and second games, I was skeptical because of the graphics. Then, I saw there was a third that was released in better times with much better graphics... AND HOLY CRAP DID IT BLOW! Let me just get something off of my chest here... I REGRET buying this game. It- it shouldn't even be considered a game! No, a game is multi-graphical art that includes puzzles and/or problems to solve, missions to complete. THIS! This piece of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Relive this Sony PS1 classic, available now on PC. In this third installment, you play as a Catholic Priest, travelling to Transylvania on a research assignment. Upon arrival, you encounter a strange disease that causes anemia, garlic allergies and puncture wounds to the neck. Can our hero find a cure for this scourge? Play and find out! positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To keep this short. Was super excited when I saw this on the Steam store cause I've since lost my physical OG game. DO NOT buy this. I immediately refunded this. Half the puzzles are gone, its watered down and abridged. Completely different from the OG game. Not worth even at this low of a price, let alone on sale. Just filled with complete and utter disappointment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The third game in the Dracula series brings to you a differently new story, visual effects , and some other new game engine features such as a new/improved inventory("craft" system is removed btw, i dont know why), separated section for in-game documents, etc. The storyline is a bit short yet very interesting and thrilling. Overall, it is a worthy part of the series. If you're satisfied with 1&2 Dracula games, this one would be non-less good "settlement".…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →People complain about constant help and cut content, but the controls are also fairly awkward most likely from being an mobile port. Drag and drop is a terrible way to view a scene.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, you'd be better off buying the original disc copy of this game, and all the others, too. I noticed a distinct lack of content within minutes of starting, which, later on, made the game extremely hard to play without following a walkthrough. The price on each game, and the bundle itself, really shows the quality. The original is really good, but this version doesn't due it justice at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worst game ever ,worst game controls 0/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →alright i'm editing my review to say this, this version is absolute garbage. it really is. Please do not get this version, if you want to enjoy the Original game buy the Dracula trilogy off of GOG. this version removes all the fun puzzles because microids thought they were "Too hard"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not much to say other than this is an offensively terrible port of a good game. I only needed to play for a minute to reach this conclusion. They somehow managed to make every single aspect of this game infinitely worse. Baffling. Just buy the GOG version instead. It's an utter pain to get running but that's an infinitely better way to play than this mess. The fact that this was released at all is SHAMEFUL.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you bought the combo pack like I did, well you have to play it right? Well for me this version was even more glitchy, the graphics would stop while the voice parts would continue. I had issues solving thee puzzles, the prison, wall of skulls, and the tile puzzle. It's not really wrorth playing, it's so chopped up and the continious restarting is a pain. I bouth parts 4 and 5. I guess I shall continue on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DON'T BUY!!!!! This is an abridged version of the game. Half the puzzles were removed. Major glitches. DON'T BUY!!!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, this is not the original full version of the game, but it still provides puzzles to solve, however I would have preferred to play the full game, so if you want to play fast without all the game puzzles this may be the choice, otherwise you can find the full original game in other places which challenge your brain more. Good luck!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game lacks many clues needed to fulfill quest! There is no way to complete game that was sold to me in the way it functions!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful version of this game. It's dumbed down and almost all the puzzles were removed. It has none of the great atmosphere of the original. Not sure who made the decision to mutilate the game like this, but they don't deserve your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game. I honestly found it different and I liked the atmosphere. I liked that that they made the effort to use Romanian names. Compared to newer adventure games where they give you a map, this game actually helped me regain my lost sense of orientation. It helps after a lot of similar games to find something different, and some of the characters in this game are quite memorable and mysterious. I bought the game after finishing it :) - as i really felt it was worth it. Not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished it again after many years. Looks like this is a crippled version of the original without the puzzles.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(Do not play steam version, it's missing cutscenes and puzzles which just subtract from the overall feeling Just get it on GoG) 7.3 Had a great feeling throughout, some of the puzzles in the second half were a touch too obtuse for me to grasp the final solution it was looking for, but I was along the right lines. If it had a touch extra of a hint I felt I would have been able to sail more smoothly and would have been able to appreciate it probably a whole few score more. The finale…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was yapping with Emi about it last night, but pendulum might be swinging the other way on NL v. jerma for me. NL's face has been in front of the NFT game for half a year now, or Slay the Spire but you're a dog who is a witch, meanwhile jerma's out there playing Dracula 3.
unlabelledView post →Unplayable due to missing critical in game items necessary to move to next scene. Unbelievable!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think I got this plus the other two games in this series on sale for about 99 cents each, but even then I don't think these are worth it. By all accounts the CD and GOG are great games, but the Steam version (which was also the ios port) is miserable. Most of the puzzles are cut, there are plenty of items that just aren't used, and this leads to the game being incredibly difficult to follow. Heck, even with a guide it's difficult because of how choppy it gets towards the end. This applies to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When i was little this was one of the first games i played, and it played a majour role in my life. I never finished it then but when i serched it on steam i found it. My review is biased and from rose tinted gogles, but the game still has flaws. Namely some of the puzzles wich are too difficult, but the originals are far worse than this ones. Also the ending is a little underwheliming , i kind of expected more. The plots first half is amazingly well written but the second part goes down hill. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dracula 3 fails in the excess. In the first cutscene we can see that the context is quite different from the other 2 games. We leave the nucleus of Jonathan and move into a context where the Catholic Church wants to investigate a possible canonization in a village in Transylvania, Romania. This shift from a romantic and adventure story in the first 2 games to an investigation of the supernatural seemed to be a good change for the series. The lore that is created around this new chapter is very…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not much of an improvement from the other two games. Still need to CTRL-ALT-DEL to quit. Wow. 2/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bad, for what!? that ending :( man... oh man... ♥♥♥♥ sucks
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon is a slow-burning, cerebral gothic adventure that leans heavily into investigation, atmosphere, and religious intrigue rather than overt action or constant spectacle. Developed and published by Microids, this third entry in the Dracula adventure series deliberately steps away from the direct continuation of Jonathan Harker’s story and instead presents a standalone narrative set in 1920, offering a more introspective and scholarly take on vampire mythology. It…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is iOS version. It is missing animations, cutscenes, dialogs. Controls are different than in original PC version. Menus like inventory and whole mechanics are removed and/or changed. Screenshots are showing old PC version and this is not that!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was one of my favorite old school point and click computer games I had as a kid. So much nostalgia flooding back as I relived it. However as soon as the nostalgia high wore off I realized that this is nothing more than a hollow shell of the actual game. Literal chunks of the game's puzzles are taken out and pretty much done for you. While my brain is thankful for the less head scratching puzzles, I do feel like the game is too short because of that. Even worse is the fact that the end…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is an apple store port, half the content is gone compared to the original game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The second game in the series I played, first one was Resurrection. I'm starting to warm up to these, the atmosphere, the art, voice acting and music are actually pretty good and the story keeps me invested. I still wouldn't buy any of those games, because I don't like Point & Click Adventures, but I enjoyed it for the most part. I had one problem with the game where sometimes it didn't show some things like people or signs for some reason, so I had to look stuff up a lot more than in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game. I played the older original game which is more challenging. This steam game of Dracula Path of the Dragon, although good does not have some of the more difficult puzzles. Just the same I recommend this game and wish their was more of the older adventure games being made, like the Sherlock Holmes series, Gabriel Knight, Art of Murder and the Nancy Drew games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was enjoying this game, then about 30 min into it I tried to interact with something and got a black screen. Tried a few things and a bit of google search, nothing that was helpful came up. Not going to bother with it anymore. I was playing on MAC. Microsoft PC's might be fine.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is beautiful despite an old gameplay that can result a little difficult at the beginning. Fantastic to play with the help of a Steam Controller, definitely easier than with mouse and keyboard. However a very negative point: a lot of clues and riddles present in the original game have been removed or are automatocally solved in this version! It's such a pity!
