eXperience 112 is a unique point and click adventure with a mix of horror-esque and mystery where you control, actually, you DON'T control, a person called Lea Nichols. The uniqueness comes from that you indirectly control her around the ship using the surveillance cameras that are at your disposal as the security operator. Some cameras are broken beyond repair, some have shattered screens, others are wired incorrectly; but most of them work fine - this creates an authentic feel of realism and…

Interesting take on an adventure game. I enjoyed the novel approach of indirectly controlling the character, and choosing what you want to see through various cameras. Unfortunately you can only get 2.5 cameras going at once. The plot has some pretty amazing holes in it. The entire story as far as it gets explained to the player is mostly handed to you in some text files pretty early in the game. I was hoping there was going to some more explaining at some point, but unfortunately not. It's…

eXperience 112 is a point and click game with a difference. You are sat behind a security camera network and the only way to communicate with the main character is by switching lights on and off. There are many puzzles to solve that inspires you to press on and reveal more of the mysterious storyline. The graphics are dated but are still detailed enough to add atmosphere to the games environment. Sound effects are very good in this game from opening metal water tight doors to voice acting.…

So I've finally finished this game after like six years after I first bought it... Why has it taken me so long? Because it's pretty badly optimized. The last part was so laggy it was unplayable on my older PC. Not such a big problem anymore, although I wouldn't say I like the actual ending and not knowing it all those years probably made me like the game somewhat more... Anyway, the game mechanics are the one thing that makes this experience worth it. It can be a bit slow. Lea sometimes require…

Already finished once before buying it on steam, I like the idea. You are the supervisor of a scientific military base, which is deserted, and a woman is waking up. You have to help her through the cams, lights and doors to know what appened ... There is a linear story with mini-games and challenges (pretty easy), She understands easily what we want, and the universe is very nice even if it's an old game !!! It's an "experience" game, which need to be tested I think. pros : the idea,…

I really wanted to recommend this game, but I just cant do it. The concept sounded amazing. You dont actually control the character. You guide her through the areas by turning on lights, opening doors, and watching her through security cameras. Some cameras work fine, some dont, and at first I loved it. But the game fairly quickly devolved into getting log in codes (youre on a computer) to log into other old accounts to find more codes to open doors/safes/even more accounts. If the game were…

I wanted to like this game for the unique (or at the very least, non-standard) gaming experience it represents. Indirectly guiding a non-player character through an adventure using nothing but your own power over a decaying security system? "Sign me up!" I cried. The reality unfortunately fell short of my high expectations. A good portion of the early-to-mid game is spent directing the focal character to each and every light switch in turn, just to make sure that she stops and searches EVERY…

This is a Horror game where you are behind security room where you control cameras to tell where the girl to go. Think of it as Five Night at Freddy's controls but the cameras control the female. You need to guide her along. I first play this game 3 years ago when I bought the physical copy. You will need to listen carefully because there is chatting between you and her on what to do and there is no log to re-read what happen.. I recommend this game it's very cheap, just make sure turn your…

Pretty innovative 3rd person adventure. You control a desktop like area where you freely move and switch between different cameras. You help the protagonist through these camera by unlocking doors and stuff.

Wow what the hell did I just play. This is a weird game where you basically just operate cameras the entire game and guide another character through a series of "nodes" on a mini-map while they occasionally interact with the environment. The game starts off interesting enough because it is basically a mystery game and you gotta figure out from files and the environment what happened before the game started, but quickly devolves into wait until the slow character you're guiding goes from one…

While probably the most logical adventure game to date (you influence another character from a computer terminal, but do not interact with the environment directly,) the cons of this steaming heap far outweigh the pros. Voice acting is bad. The interface/tiny fonts are bad. The inevitable desktop clutter of the camera windows, which don't align to the window but rather overlay one another in a haphazard way is the worst-and is also the main game mechanic. Expect frequent crashes, unhandled…

Hello, I played this game before it was brought onto steam. So my review will cover the gamer first, then commet on its current state on steam. On the game: This is a one of a kind game. Unlike many other games, you are not controlling the protagonist directly but by giving the protagonist clues like switching on a light, hacking a door and so on. This is a very interessting concept but is limited by many UI decisions. Also sometimes the protagonsit does not understand the clue you are giving…

Neat concept that kept me playing, but the voice acting isn't great, and the pace is sluggish. The UI is clunky and the puzzles are very simple. You pretty much just click through all the waypoints in a room until everything is explored and she solves the problems for you. The somewhat interesting story is told mostly through reading text that is just technical enough to be tedious and clicking through the windows to find passcodes gets old. It isn't the worst game and it has a cool gimmick,…

I’m very much a newcomer to the genre of adventure games – I’ve literally played less than 10 of them in my life as of yet. But I’m getting more and more into the genre, so I decided to finally finish a game I recieved as a gift some years ago, but didn’t play at the time due to not being interested in the genre of adventure games. The game is Experience 112 – and I must say, it was pretty unique and I applaud it for sticking to it’s gimmick with conviction for like 98% of the time. (Although…

Encountered a gamebreaking bug (the unmovable robot thing) after less than an hour. Seems like a pretty common one and I even remember having the same when I first bought the retail copy back in 2008. This should be a big enough indicator of the level of polish that went into this game and, from what i remember, there where indeed other gamebreaking bugs... Other than that, it's quite a nice game at heart and definitely a unique one. Even if it's also very tedious at times, I would have…

DOesn't start on modern pc with Win7 64 bits :( Fixes mentioned do not work; cannot get the game to run no matter what compatibility/.ini wizardry I try.

Haunting atmosphere, a brave protagonist, a mystery to unfold and an original gameplay will make you want to play this game untill the end. Graphically it's not that bad, consider the fact it was released in 2007. However it runs well on Windows 10.

This adventure game is excellent ! Helping the heroine by guiding her with the cameras is an excellent idea and the story is rich. Even if it's long, it's worth reading all the files you discover along the game. I just regret that the bathyscaphe gameplay isn't convenient and the last part of the game isn't appropriate with the camera system, but it's not a real problem. Try this game, you won't regret it !

Good music, ok graphics, nearly ok UI. The game interesting because it is different the most of the others. You are controlling cameras (with different modes), lights, doors and once (yet) a robot. You guide the protagonist and find out more about the story through things the protagonist finds. It is slow, it is kind of fun and not everyone will like it. I hate to say it, but it crashed on me and then I just thought... time for something different. So much potential wasted. :( The interface is horrible and clunky. It's novel at first but the novelty wears off very fast. There's a lot of "read the dev's mind" style puzzle solving, like in a point-and-click adventure game. You're going to need a walkthrough to get through even the first 10 minutes, because the game is loaded with puzzles that you really have no way of solving on your own. Navigating around the world is incredibly slow and cumbersome and you're given no direction on what…

Experience 112, developed by Lexis Numerique and published by Microids, is an adventure game that stands out for its distinctive approach to storytelling and gameplay. A slow-paced unpolished gem of a game. The busy interface takes some getting used to, and there's an awful lot of reading to do, but the strength of the writing and ingenuity of the puzzles pull it all through. The plot carries some nice sci-fi intrigue, but where it really comes alive is through the logs. Going through NPC's emails and personal files sounds dull, and it can be, but these investigations become a game in itself. You'll be deciphering passwords, learning character…

Unresponsive AI, clunky interface, game mechanics that randomly decide to not work properly leaving you wondering is that you who did something wrong or the game, abysmal loading times, nonexistant optimization with 10 fps as a norm in some areas, nonsensical puzzles. Unique, it works but I wish it would be classical PCA style, far more fun that way, waking up and then figuring out things, when you introduce another person behind the camera, mystery and certain atmospheric mood is gone and it's weird that confused with amnesia character explains to YOU things, apparently you are with amnesia too.

It's a pretty boring game that honestly intrigued me at first but fell flat when there was hardly anything happening. The way the mechanics work are really idiotic. Essentially the cam system really makes the game hard to control and makes you impatient and ♥♥♥♥. Instead of being able to switch cameras within the same tab you have to use another tab to do that. At first it seems alright but once you realize that you are going to switch between multiple tabs over and over it just ends up making…
