Throw the switch. ME: (does not die no matter how high they crank the voltage, but does feel exponentially increasing amount of pain)

The cons: - - The original game had a much better user interface, I cant understand why it has been changed to what it is in this version. - There are several bugs throughout such as not being able to read the dairy at the inn (mentioned by another user). And one…

unlabelledView post →I'll start off by saying this game was originally released in 2000, over 15 years ago... The graphics are very dated but what do you expect from a game that was released 15 years ago.. The game play is your run of the mill point and click game, it's not the most difficult point and click game around, nor are the puzzles terribly difficult.... The story is fairly straight forward and appears to be a loosely based sequal of the Dracula books. Jonathon Harker makes his way to Translyvania to…

However, these postives are for the CD version of the game. The steam version seems to be a bad port of the IOS version with over simplistc controls that are still somehow confusing, lots of cut videos (inculding, most unforgivably the intro video, witch is still in the trailer...) and what videos that still in the game are…

While I clicked 'yes' about recommending this game I will point out from the start it's a 'yes' to what this game is in it's original form. Also I wanted to bring it to the attention of other steam customers where to get the original game as this is not it. So it's a 'no' on this version but a 'yes' on the game itself in it's original form. I did get this game in a bundle…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This counts for all parts of the series. If u r a PC gamer, dont buy it. This is version for TABLETS with screwed controls on PC (no free look), but even worse, there r missing few cutscenes too... Get GOG version instead. Steam failed here.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get the GOG version of this port, this version is missing multiple STORY RELEVANT cut scenes and skips full entire puzzles. Go get GOG version. THIS GAME IS VERY FUN AND COOL AND GOOFY AND WEIRD PLEASE PLAY IT BUT GET THE GOG VERSION.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a crippled port of the Android/iPad version, missing a lot of content/puzzles and has worse graphics and video quality than the original PC release! Also has many more bugs. Don't buy it, unless the developer releases the original PC version as well (which run fine on current Windows systems). They have released the original PC versions on other game sites and promised to do so on Steam as well, so I can't understand why it is taking them so long. Definitely don't try to play this mess…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this version is trash not only is it incomplete but it’s a cheap mobile port full of dumb puzzles and stripped content i seriously don’t know how it’s still not mentioned anywhere that this is the mobile version and not the full game this is straight up misleading to buyers they even put a trailer that doesn’t match the actual game content don’t buy it from here get it from gog instead that’s what i’m doing now after wasting 3 hours on this broken and incomplete version
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an easy and short adventure game but when it was released it had stunning graphics and it was a really enjoyable experience. This version is a bad port from tablet/phone remake and it has less content, worst interface and other issues. GOG version is the one you want.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not the original pc game. It's ugly and buggy. Total garbage.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sad to say, but this game has several bugs that can rob you the fun of an otherwise good adventure game. I just wish there was a workaround to those bugs The Notebook can't be read and the library door remains locked . It's dated, sure, but that shouldn't be a problem. What is a problem are the bugs which break the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While you're there, you could also wishlist our upcoming game Vampirium: 1997. If you're feeling particularly autumnal. And you like vampires. And you like imsims where you get to be a vampire assassinating other vampires on Dracula's orders. That sorta thing. store.steampowered.com/app/4035190/...
unlabelledView post →It's not even the updated version, so it's missing half the video animations and the interface is completely awful.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game in the hopes of the nostalgia, however this cut mess of a game just doesn't live up to it's former self. I do not recommend Steams version of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd game, I'm sorry to say. GOG have the the originals, so much better, and so much more worth your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buy the GOG version. Good game, but this version is cut and broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is something incredibly off with this game, but I sadly can't pinpoint at exactly what because I'm not sure how much of it is just my mind playing tricks on me using vague recollections I have of the game from years ago and how much is the reality of Dracula: The Resurrection. Story-wise it's treated as a continuation of the original Dracula novel, an unofficial sequel if you will and are inclined to overlook the official novel successor, but you won't get much of the actual story in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Avid player of this game, probably my favourite game of all time, speed ran it in 10 minutes on YouTube and have a few different cover versions of this on PC and a couple of different PC versions so you can trust me on this... This is NOT the version you remember on PS1, has a weird border around it during cut scenes, the climbing stairs clip is sped up for some unusual reason and it's general a poor version of this game. IF you're still looking to play the game go to GOG and buy the Dracula…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dude been a vampire for hundreds of years, Val Helsing exposed his ass in like 5 minutes with a jewelry box. Even Dracula cracked a smile and was like “you’re wiser than you look like motherfucker” like full “game recognize game” moment. I love this movie. Nobody does it like Lugosi.
unlabelledView post →WARNING: BROKEN GAME. DO NOT BUY. I loved the book & was looking forward to trying a faithful continuation of the story, but this game sorely disappointed. Everything started out nice, with reasonable graphics for a game its age, despite the hilarious animations & voice syncing. The puzzles had logical solutions & I was enjoying wandering around the frozen environments. Sadly, I encountered a bug that no matter how many times I restarted I couldn't get past. After some puzzles Harker gets…
