If you try to open the game offline it does not start. So for me this is a BIG NO NO!! No information about that in the store. Many companies do ask that players go online the 1st time they play but after you can use the game offline. It is in Steam and it is a single players so why do you force players to only use your games wile online?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game started out so well. It had some original ideas I hadn't seen used in a hidden object game before. The story was intriguing. After the first two episodes, it becomes just another hidden object game. All the original ideas that made the first two episodes entertaining were thrown out the window in favour of finding an increasingly large number of words/symbols/items. Not only that but there's no real ending to the game. It simply ends. It's quite possibly the most anticlimactic ending…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a HOG with a bit of a twist and it does it quite well. The graphics are older but doesn't take away from the game play and voicing is decent. Love the way the story unfolds and is enjoyable to say the least. I think it's a wonderful game and worthy of playing for anyone who like this type of gaming. Definitely a thumbs up!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i enjoy playing Adam Wolfe it's a great HOG game and interesting story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe was a pretty interesting ride that was above average for a hidden object/puzzle game. The plot was pretty decent with each of the four chapters having different stories to solve as a supernatural detective which all tied in nicely together in the last chapter. The artwork is stunning and voice acting is amazing too. There was a nice variety of puzzles to solve and a few of them I quite liked. None were particularly challenging though.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me start by saying that I VERY much enjoyed playing the first episode. That being said, if you have a bug or something with the game, you're screwed. The 2nd episode is bugged for some reason, and I can't play it. I already uninstalled the game and installed it again, deleted my profile, etc... But that didn't work. So I reached out to the developer of the game. I've been waiting for over a month now and the problem still isn't fixed. So that's the reason why I don't recommend this game.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wait, whaaaaaaaaat? This is so good! After playing numerous/copious amounts of H.O.G.s and finally saying "eh, story isn't all that great in 99% of 'em..." Then this one ventured into my inventory and blew my lil mind! I've never had this much fun with a H.O.G... Not that I can recall. I just wish there was more to it though. A continuation or more explanations... See, we don't really know much about the characters sadly... Or the powers or this or that... But the game keeps offering…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a well done hidden puzzle object game with limited quick time events. If you enjoy this genre, it's an interesting story set in San Francisco. Not into hidden puzzle games? Skip it.

Every case solved further unravels the threads of a cult conspiracy called The Timeless, who claim to be immortal. Will Adam find his sister Allie dead, or alive...or somewhere in between the infinity of Timelessness? It's a very Mad Head World indeed! This is an action-packed adventure, unlike any other HOPA…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a routine mobile ported hidden object casual puzzle/adventure game with a historical/fantasy/mystery theme. Solving various puzzles and hidden object minigames progresses the plot and unravels the mystery. As with most mobile ported HOGs, there's a simplistic interface, locked/unchangeable screen resolution, next to no customisability, and somewhat low resolution graphical assets. The game displays either stretched or pillarboxed, so it wasn't designed for the defacto standard 16:9…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Paranormal Mystery/Thriller Visual novel with puzzles using aspects of Point and Click and Hidden Objects. The Puzzles are very easy but there are sometimes multiple layers where you have to move stuff in order to find the object. A select few of the puzzles can be a bit difficult and take some work. You never have to combine items in your inventory so that tedious guesswork isn't here. Although occasionally you do have to interact an item from your inventory with the scene in a way that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe is one of those games I didn’t expect to pull me in so strongly, yet it won me over within minutes. It’s a neo‑noir journey through a dark, supernatural San Francisco, where every scene feels like a frame from a graphic novel. The atmosphere is its strongest asset: dense, mysterious, and always giving you the sense that something is lurking just outside your field of view. What impressed me most is how it blends hidden‑object elements with a more cinematic style of storytelling. You…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mystery, atmosphere, and well-crafted characters pull you in fast. It’s easy to get immersed and want to uncover everything. Every detail matters. You move forward driven by curiosity, exploring and trying to understand what’s going on. It’s enjoyable from start to finish. The issue shows up quickly: it doesn’t last long. Before you realize it… it’s over. And not just that... it leaves more questions than answers. It feels incomplete. It had everything for a sequel. More world, more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐⭐⭐ Cool supernatural detective game, reminds me of Constantine. Basically it is a sequence of puzzles but don't let that intimidate you: all of them are skippable (even on normal difficulty), so you can play it like a visual novel if you want to. Alternatively, you can ask for hints anytime by clicking a button. If you're into the hidden object/point and click genre, I'd say that Adam Wolfe is a must play despite some flaws, the main one being its ending: it looks like the devs were planning…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe: A Supernatural Noir Adventure Unveiling Dark Secrets Visuals Step into the shadowy world of Adam Wolfe, where mystery and the supernatural collide. The game presents a visually stunning blend of hand-drawn artwork and atmospheric scenes that bring the noir setting to life. From dimly lit alleyways to eerie crime scenes, the visuals set the tone for the dark and mysterious narrative. The attention to detail and the use of atmospheric lighting create a sense of unease, immersing you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite looking like a hidden object game, Adam Wolfe is not your usual HOG. Yes, it looks and plays like one, but where usual HOGs focus more on HOG scenes and puzzles, this game focuses on story. We play as the titular Adam Wolfe, a supernatural detective living in San Francisco who stumbles upon a clue about his missing sister while on a case. Obviously, he goes to search for her. The game has 4 episodes, and it all connects nicely to his journey. Gameplay-wise, it feels more like a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is significantly different than a lot of other hidden object games, but definitely not in a bad way! It has more interesting mechanics and is a breath of fresh air for anyone that enjoys HOGs! Definitely worth checking out if you like HOGs or even general point and click puzzles, as it does have a different feel than I think a wider audience can appreciate.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I must to admit - this is pretty cool game. Of course it has its cons, but they are not important. Main hero has charisma, the story is decent, the music is not disturbing, the puzzles are not difficult. Everything is fine.. except one thing - game doesn't have ending. Well, actually it has.. but it looks more like an open ending. And this really annoyed me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought it because it was for sale expecting a complete game. Turns out it was just one chapter, and a very short one at that. First time I'm seeing hidden object game split like that. The game itself is about average, but this bs needs to stop. What is this, EA?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took a case, lost my soul, found a lighter. Shot ghosts, paid bar tab with ectoplasm. Puzzles harder than my taxes, demons hotter than my ex. Finished at 3 a.m., city saved, landlord still mad.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: A fun point a click with peak B-movie energy Pros: - A decent length, not super short but not too long, took me 5 hours to beat on my first play through - The art is very nice! It's really the selling point - The story feels very much like an early 2000's attempt a fusing Detective Drama with Paranormal things - "Comic book energy" in the best way possible - it has some really fun moments and unique game play sequences Neutral: - the puzzles are mostly super easy - the item…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really cool and unique game. The scenes and the story is really cool and really fun. Even though its split into four episodes, of which im not really a friend, its really worth playing. The HOS and the minigames are mostly easily done but its still cool to play through the whole game. I can really highly recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The creators clearly wanted to take the hidden object formula to the next level, but the results were middling. Very little of hidden object screenes, which are a stable of the genre. Instead the focus is on basic puzzles and admittedly solid plot that loses its way the further you get. A big problem for me was that for all the attempts to push the story to the forefront I didn't particularly care for any of the underdeveloped characters. 4/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe is a supernatural puzzle story game where you solve mysteries by finding hidden objects and interacting with objects. The story itself was okay and I was fairly engaged throughout. Some of the puzzles were also pretty fun and satisfying to solve. This game was really easy and had a built in guide to help. Recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jerk developers had an achievement some people weren't unlocking even after completing all the requirements. There are complaints about this going back years on their Steam forum. So instead of actually fixing the problem, they just deleted the achievement for everyone with no announcement or warning of any kind, meaning people who didn't have problems and unlocked it years ago and then promptly forgot about this very forgettable game saw their Steam achievement count decline by 1 for no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh boy, I'm wrong all along with this game. At first, I though this is your typical casual Hidden Object but nope It's an Interactive Visual Novel, mixed all elements of casual game into one and you got Adam Wolfe. It's mostly focused on puzzles & mini-games (ex: card game, memory game, matching game, etc.) Story wise, Episode 1 & 2 got a great stories. But then Episode 3 & 4 went downhill but still okay for me. I wish Mad Head Games will make Adam Wolfe 2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool and interesting story. Puts you to think your way out from the puzzles. Enjoyed playing this and made a perfect game. 10/10 hourglasses
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe is a supernatural detective adventure that successfully combines noir storytelling, hidden object gameplay, paranormal mystery, and cinematic presentation into one of the more memorable narrative-driven puzzle games available on Steam. Developed by Mad Head Games, the title follows the story of Adam Wolfe, a private investigator specializing in occult cases who becomes trapped in a dangerous conspiracy while searching for his missing sister. Set against the dark streets and shadowy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It took me nearly four months, but I've finally completed Adam Wolfe's epic journey to find and save his sister. This is one of the most ambitious hidden object adventure games I've played. It's up there with [url=https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/50953/True_Fear_Trilogy/]"True Fear: Forsaken Souls" in terms of gameplay variety, depth of story, and gripping pacing. My excuse for why it took me so long to finish, despite the game being absolutely AMAZING, is that it's broken up into…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles are engaging enough without being too hard or frustrating. The lengthy story is interesting as well, with a lot of supernatural elements and a campy vibe that actually adds to its charm.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a decent adventure/hidden object style of game. It took me about 7.5 hours to finish playing at a very leisurely pace. its split up into 4 episodes which worked well for me since these kind of games I don't really tend to play for big long stretches. I enjoyed the noir detective themes sprinkled with some occult flavor. In my opinion, episodes 1 & 2 were the strongest, 3 was starting to get meh, and episode 4 felt like a bunch of cheesy crap wrapped up all sloppy, and I hated the way…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ethiopia is better developed than these characters.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A puzzle game mostly with point & click and hidden objects mechanics. Not a bad story included too. By the way, senseless buying it without season pass. It contains the biggest part of story and gameplay content. I'd call this game without season pass - a prologue part. So, if you take it - take it whole. Get acquainted, we are Adam Wolfe, a paranormal detective who looks for his once disappeared sister. In the game 4 chapters (1 in a base game + 3 in a season pass DLC). Every chapter lasts…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe is a hidden object game split into four connected episodes. You play Adam Wolfe, a paranormal detective searching for his missing sister. While looking for her, you handle unusual cases that bring together crime investigation and supernatural elements. This is genuinely a high-quality game that stands out in the genre. The storytelling is really excellent. I was excited to play and always wanted to know what happened next. The first two episodes are solid, but I was a bit let down…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just got a 3$ trading card, so i'm happy👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have extremely low standards when it comes to hidden object games but this was truly just terrible.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game started out very well - the story looked interesting, the mechanics felt fresh. But then it turned into a copy-paste, mediocre hidden object game. A below average one at that I would say. Another complaint is about achievements - you cannot unlock the last one, the developer will have to "give" it to you (and he will not). Buy only on mega discount, only if you don't care about achievements.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adam Wolfe is an hidden objects/puzzle point & click mystery game with a fantastic ambiance and good voice acting cast. The game is immersive and constantly keeps you wanting to know what happens next. The graphics and especially animations have a very unique style, which looks uncanny at times, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. I'm usually picky about this stuff. Another thing to outline here is the quality of the soundtrack, I really liked it! All episodes are definitely required to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is simply excellent and well developed. I have not seen much game like this. It is something like interactive movie detective adventure game combined with puzzles, finding clues and untypical HOG scenes. The HOGs are not common. There is usually a narrative story and you have to find objects from the storry. It is amazing experience to follow the storyline and watch high quality animations and pictures. Only Episod 4 is a little plain or strange as for the story. You can feel that the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. The artwork is a little janky, and there isn’t much of a challenge. I think I only really struggled with one thing, which was finding a flier. But even then, I just had tunnel vision. If you’re looking for a quick, easy game, then go for it. But I’d definitely recommend buying it on discount rather than paying full price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yup, definite recommendation on this one! This game is a very welcome alternative to other detective games, due to being a point and click /hidden objects features. In the design of a classic hidden objects game, hides a wonderful story of the paranormal detective Adam Wolfe searching for his sister. Well executed, long enough, good voice acting and a very interestingly developing story. Has huge potential for a continuation of Adam Wolfe's story. The game is stable and delivers. Well done, Mad…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Millennial ahh hidden objects game game. Too little hog minigames per chapter. Every character looks like an Invincible edit. And the ending is atrocious.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More story-rich content than many games of this genre. Very relaxing while playing, but still able to experience the suspension this kind games usually will give you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good hidden object game, some new puzzles / features I haven't seen before and I play a bunch of these. Achievements are easy enough to get on a single playthrough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't played many Hidden Object games but this is the best one so far! Nice art, great and engaging plot, solid voice acting, cool puzzles that don't make you frustrated, and fun and varied mini games. Bonus point for the heavy Max Payne vibe: all the comic book panel style cutscenes as well as the main protagonist who narrates and comments on everything that's happening.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On my second time though.... One of the BEST point and click genre games out there by FAR. I've played nearly all of the Artifex and Alawar games, plus many others. This one is head and shoulders above those in a great way. Film noir detective story, excellent story line, great main character voice actor, excellent action scenes for a point and click, and top notch cinematography. Only have great things to say about Adam Wolfe, don't hesitate if you like the point and click genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I should start with the fact that I am not a hidden object and puzzle game type of fella, so I am absolutely not the target market for this game and yet I really liked it. You see it is a hidden object game and a puzzle game but it is also an interactive novel and has some nicely done Max Payne graphic novel cut scenes, so it plays well and looks great. The puzzle are very cleverly thought out , there is no illogical goat puzzle, if you think things through you can usually work out what you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the gold standard for HOGs, this game was awesome. Hidden object game play with cool graphic novel elements that you could tell had a lot of heart poured into creating. Voice acting was very good and really helped bring across both the serious and sometimes funny tones of the characters. The unique elements were a lot of fun, shooting a gun, going back in time, and searching for scene evidence was very exciting. The game is broken into four chapters which provides good stopping points…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this, but found the animation style and the half-HOG / half action puzzle game quite unappealing. Will be great for those that can work through awkward controls and like the style
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First Episode was good but when I started the second one I got a black Screen for a few minutes and then the game started I could hear the character talking and click around but I couldn't see a thing because the whole screen is just a mess of UI Elements and game art overlapping. Except for episode 1 completely unplayable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked it. More like a Visual Novel with puzzles and some hidden object games. It's heavier on the story, quite pretty to look at, lots of animation, voiced. Characters get some actual development. It's on the easier side, so it's pretty nice if you want to relax. Achievements are easy to get, doesn't have those weird easy to miss collect ones other HoG games have,
