60 of 186 · most liked firstOverall: 77% Three good and one mediocre game means that this four-pack is one of the best hidden object game deals by Alawar, even if one of them is available in a more suitable pack. Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story (53%) mostly relies on its spooky atmosphere, because the (voiceless) story is too clichéd for a HOG: the protagonist’s fiancé disappears and she goes through an abandoned town to find him. Thankfully, the game is short; the useless map adds some backtracking, but mostly the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Information / Review English Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1 offers you 4 different Hidden object Adventures, which were developed by Alawar Entertainment. Gameplay / Story House of 1000 Doors: You are on your way to New Jersey, where local residents said the sky was glowing and fireballs chased them. The lights raged along the eastern coast and the locals panicked. You remember the house of 1000 doors and suspect that the door between the worlds is open again. Eternal Journey: The New…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two of the games in this 'bundle' are available stand-alone in their collector's edition (with a bonus chapter), including Eternal Journey which is an excellent game. I haven't played Straw (not interested in it), but I've completed the Dark Strokes game, considering I love one of the other games in the series. While it's not a catastrophe, it's still a bland game and it made me waste several hours trying to find three background scenes from the game that I've definitely seen and played in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As the title suggest it is a pack with 4 hidden object games in it. 1 is good, 2 are ok to meh and in the last one you kinda have to hurt a cat which it could go without :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good collection of hidden object games. Very intriguing stories and game play. Good graphics and music. I wasn't that impressed with Stray Souls. Eternal Journey: New Atlantis being the most interesting and fun of all four games. Well worth the price. Two thumbs way up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, three out of four games crashed my entire computer multiple times, so no, I don't really think I can recommend this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1" is collection of four of what looks a lot like mobile apps that've been dumped on Steam as if they were real PC games... it's a cash grab from Alawar, greedy mobile devs trying to cash in on abandoned app store stuff by dumping it on Steam (take a look at their catalog on Steam... or better yet, don't). The games look and feels like mobile apps, and I could see evidence that strongly suggests they were on mobile phone app stores, but they seem to have been…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: Don't waste your money. Yes, I loved three of the games, but only one ran properly. The other two had really hard closes when exiting the game. The last title even crashed on me and needed a Win 7 compatibility fix. Full disclosure: I got this bundle in a bundle of bundles on the winter sale for roughly fifty cents a game, no doubt that's going to be reflected in my review. I'll review each title as I play them. EDIT: I still feel like I paid too much. Are games that run smoothly too…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →only 2 of the 4 games will load
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This bundle got everything you could wish for if you like mystery, horror, adventure, magic, romance and much much more in a puzzle game! Each plot and story really had me intrigued to complete them almost in one uninterrupted play. The atmosphere for each Hidden object is different and exciting. Puzzles were challenging, got one thinking but nonetheless fun. Solving each one felt like a small achievement. Really recommended! What I also like about this game: If your mothertongue is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, this was an average bundle of hidden object games. I enjoyed the environments, the lovely artwork, and the calm music, but there wasn’t anything new or outstanding of the four games included in this bundle. My ranking for the included games, from top to bottom, is as follows: 1. House of 1,000 Doors: Palm of Zoroaster 2. Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers 3. Eternal Journey: New Atlantis 4. Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story The hidden object portion of these games could be frustrating at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very nice collection of old-school hidden-object adventures. The games are definitely dated, but the stories and atmosphere still hold up surprisingly well. Stray Souls: A Dollhouse Story is the horror game of the group. I liked the creepy locations and unsettling atmosphere, although I thought the story could have been stronger. It was still fun for a short evening of gaming. House of 1,000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster: Probably the best traditional adventure in the bundle. Great…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1, developed and published by Alawar Casual, is a compilation designed to deliver maximum value to fans of hidden object and casual adventure games. It collects four full-length titles—Stray Souls: A Dollhouse Story, House of 1,000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster, Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers, and Eternal Journey: New Atlantis—into one accessible package. Each game has its own narrative tone and setting, ensuring that the collection doesn’t feel like a repetitive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →enjoyed the games, 1000 doors finished with no problems, then went to dark strokes froze on pause lost mouse control. had to Ctrl shift tab to exit. haven't played the other two yet. It looks like there is quite a few complaints about crashing. I am sorry that these games are buggy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's one that I have replayed many times, mostly because it doesn't suck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good games, Dark Strokes - Sins of the fathers is my favorites highly recommended as long as it's on sales.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alrighty, this review will be 3 out of 4 games, because I OWN the 1000 Door series and played them separately. I wont judge any game on their graphics, as it doesn't matter to me... As long as I can understand what's going on. That and as long as there are no game breaking bugs... Which thankfully there weren't! I started with the creepy clown one... It lives up to its title card. It's nasty and horror-like... BUT! If I am capable of doing it, that means it is VERY MILD horror. This…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So! Out of the 4 games here, the only one I played that was from this bundle only is: Dark Strokes: Sin of the Father and Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story. I've played House of 1,000 doors (very solid game) and Atlantis (great for the cheese, but a slight slog) outside of this bundle. Bundle rating: Yes, go grab it, if you don't have any of these games. Dark Strokes: Sin of the Father is slightly above average on the Mountain Crime Requital Scale. I loved the cheese, and the gameplay wasn't too…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a bundle consist of 4 hidden object games. all of them dated but still fun and time killer games. Stray Souls: A Dollhouse Story my favourite one among them. it has a pretty intriguing story and fun puzzles. when you get this bundle in discount they coming to your account pretty cheap. if you want to spend some relaxing time with casual games this bundle good choice for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun and diverse hidden objects bundle. Unfortunately no achievements, but still worth the play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great bundle. The first one is apparently part of a bigger series, but it was also fun to play without context. The other stories are just a wild ride from start to finish. I got this game as part of a bundle of bundles, so it was very cheap. Better than some more expensive hidden object games I played in the past
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall - I got this game in a bundle as am wont to do with hidden object games. I very rarely buy them full price, because while they generally do give a decent amount of time played, they often vary wildly in quality in both puzzles and graphics. The games in the collection are all 4:3, and default to stretch to fill the screen with a 'widescreen' button in the options to force it with black bars on a widescreen monitor (this is the reverse functionality to what you expect a 'widescreen'…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked this bundle up for £2.50 while it was on sale. As such, I found it to be fantastic value entertainment. It was my first foray into hidden object games. This style of game seems a bit dated, but nevertheless highly immersive, partly due to the quality of the puzzles, the imaginative stories, and the superb artwork. 'House of 1000 Rooms: Palm of Zoroaster', alone, made this purchase well worth the money. It gave me more than a full day of total immersion. The artwork is fantastic. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is another interesting bundle from Alawar, and at less than $2 per game it is well worth picking up. The four included games run the gamut of genres, so you are bound to find at least one that resonates with your tastes. I already own and had previously played the CE version of House of 1,000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster, so I did not replay the SE here, but I remember liking it a bit better than Family Secrets (the first game in that series) even though the puzzles in this one aren't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the clown game when I was little and it still spooks me sometimes. fun if you like a good story and hidden object game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty solid pack of games! Two really good ones, one okay one, and one overrated one imo. There are two story styles to the games here, the two on the top (House Of 1000 Doors and Eternal Journey) have voice acting and longer cutscenes, and the two on the bottom (Dark Strokes and Stray Souls) are more text based and keep the cutscenes a little more simple. Both of these two groups have one really good game, and one game that's not on the same level. Let's start with the group on the top…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let's see First two games (1000 doors and eternal journey) they're good, probably 1000 doors being the best one of the whole bundle but eternal journey isnt bad at all, highly recommending both ; artstyle is pretty, cgi animations are good and got a distinctive charm, puzzles makes sense and the plot of both games is intriguing. Now, the last two games (Sins of the fathers and dollhouse) well, they arent bad games per se, but they're a heavy downgrade in quality in every sense from the first…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i can play them all only i can't seem to find all the hidden objects in Lost Soul, maybe the clown took them lolol he took the tired off
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A sweet collection of HOG's. (I will update my review once I finish more games.) Eternal Journey: New Atlantis: (Spoilers) To save your clumsy boyfriend you travel to Mars and eradicate a whole species of Mars Creatures, by injecting their Queen with a human measles virus. HOG characters are THAT full of themselves. And as we learned from Dracula: Love Kills! In the end the protagonist, their boyfriend and a stray cat use the Martians Colony Ship to escape to a uninhabitated Paradise Planet…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A real great game bundle with game gems through and through. A little Warning here: House of 1000 doors and Eternal Journey can be bough as a standalone game so you could end up having the same game doube or tripple on your account. But lets start with the games seperatly: The house of 1000 doors The Palm of Zoroaster: A great sequel with the same interface and a real nice story and sub stories. Really highly recommended (available alone and in another bundle as well) Eternal Journey New…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eternal journey, yeah, its like a telenovel, very long happy end, very beautifull game. Ther best hidden object game ever, thanks much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this bundle the games are really fun to play and its worth the money thank you
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's easier to get a meeting with the pope, than finding a game my wife likes to play. She really liked this bundle a lot. That makes me happy :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thoroughly enjoyed this bundle. I especially enjoyed the Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers. The story was great and the twist at the end was indeed unexpected (well to me anyways) I brought this on special and if you like hidden object games that also have stories to them do yourself a favour and purchase this. Then kick back and enjoy. I am looking forward to replaying these games. Thank you very much to everyone involved in all of these games. Thanx
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you use Steam Play, Sins of the Fathers doesn't work unless you roll back several versions of Proton and then there's a problem with cursor lag that makes the game unplayable. The other games are fine though and Eternal Journey is one of my favorite hidden object games of all time! Sci-fi horror is my favorite genre of anything and the fact that a cat accompanies you throughout most of the game just makes it better. There are subtle references to sci-fi movies here and there, keep an eye…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've always been a big fan of Hidden Object games. So far, I've played 2 games in this bundle (House of 1,000 Doors and New Atlantis) and am thoroughly enjoying it all. The puzzles are engaging, but not so difficult that you get frustrated and quit. The game offers and good balance between fun and overly complicated. Story line is never a highlight in hidden object games - so don't expect anything different in that department. Each game in the bundle is lasting between 8 - 10 hours, so a good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't expect to like it as much as I did given the price. Eternal Journey - New Atlantis is by far my favourite. Great SciFi adventure. Stray Souls - Dollhouse Story is as eerie as expected, which is great! Dark Strokes - Sins of the Fathers actually had a twist I didn't see coming... House of 1000 Doors - The Palm of Zoroaster was great until it wasn't. The ending feels rushed and didn't make much sense to me. All in all, I totally recommend this bundle!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a great games you get 4 games for the price of 1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice set of hidden object games. Dark Strokes is top-notch. Zoroaster and New Atlantis are good. Dollhouse Story is just average. Great value when it goes on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This isn't the type of games I really play these days, however my mom said she was bored. Therefore it lead be to look for hidden object games. So far we have only played the 1000 door one (the ending seemed rush) however with this type a game I really didn't expect much. This one game took about three hours to bead. It was great to pass the time. (which we have time with this covid-19 going on) If you are looking for a game to pass time, this is something you might want to put in your wish…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good games. Played on Windows 10 with no issues.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I paid £1.95 for this and got 20 odd hours of playtime, which I think is solid value. They're of mixed quality but they're all enjoyable. The House of 1000 Doors was probably my favourite overall. Eternal Journey had a satisfying story. Dark Strokes is my least favourite for puzzles but had the coolest story. Stray Souls is altogether a bit silly, but has dark elements and an extremely cool ending. An annoying feature of Dark STrokes and Stray Souls is they have bonus objects to collect, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What we have here is a bundle of four hidden object games in one package. It's one "game" in your library, and when you start the "game", it displays a launcher window from which you select which of the four games you want to play. For those who like such things, it does have trading cards, but sine it's one "game", it has one set of cards, not a separate set for each of the four games. Also, these are the standard games, not collector's editions, but that should be expected since the price…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →These reviews are for the games I've so far played: Eternal Journey: New Atlantis Totally loved this game from start to finish. The story is a fun unravelling mystery. Enjoyed the sci-fi theme. Pretty long game with some bonus things to find. Intricate detailed hidden object scenes. I would give this one a 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was fun. I liked the games. Negative in all that at the end of the games the puzzles were much more easier and it seems that the developers just want to finish the games quickly. It would be better if they take the same attention at the end of the game like they take at the beginning. But all in all I recommend this bundle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It took me only about 2 hours to complete the first of the four that I played, Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers. The plot was great, the music and art were fantastic, and the puzzles made sense. It was a bit short, and the ending was a bit cheesy. It also was kind of left untied. But I would definitely recommend!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great value on sale, good for reliving old memories :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All of these games are fine individually, but I really hate that they are lumped together as one like this. It means no discountes for games you already own, and no steam acheivements. If they were seperate, I would give each of them a glowing review, but together they lose their charm. Good games nonetheless, so I'll still recommend, but if you can get them seperately for a reasonable price, do that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The games are relaxing, yet quite engaging. The stories are well put together - as is the route to solving the puzzles. Graphics are nicely done, with a few animations to raise the immersion factor. All in all this is a really good set of games, with ONE problem. The 'Eternal Journey' game has to be played in 5 minute sessions, as there appears to be a large memory leak, that causes my entire rig to freeze. I have to reboot my system and can't even use task manager to get out as the system is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great adventure story
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't beat this bargain, containing 4 games for $4.35. I enjoy this genre of hunting and seeking, though the newer editions in this collection help you out when you have to backtrack to use that key, shard of glass, crowbar or other relic you just found but you can't remember where it is to be used. That said, keep a notepad or use the hint button a lot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like hidden object games as it's not overly stimulation on my tired and fatigued brain, other M.E. users may like this game too, if they are not severe, you can switch the music and ambient music off. Sometimes it's too dark to really see some of the find the objects that clear, but I still managed and I have bad eyesight! I like the easy simplicity of these games, a sense of achievement and a little bit of a story but not an overwhelming amount. TLDR Great Game Bit dark in places If…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ok mystery games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this bundle because I wanted to play some hidden object games and the reviews all seemed positive so I decided on this one. Unfortunately, this review will only be half positive. House of 1000 Doors: The Palm of Zorcaster – I truly enjoyed this one. It worked very well, with no glitches or issues that I noticed. The only thing that really annoyed me was that at the very end, the guy in the title picture shows up (Gabriel) and tells you to finish it and he’ll answer all your questions…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was awsome, real good graphics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a decent collection of hidden object games I would give this bundle an average rating of 4 out of 5
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Good hidden object game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Peak story telling, especially the eternal journey when she said "The eternal journey begins."
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty solid hidden object game.
