Many display bugs : - partially out of screen descriptions - missing comparison description when acquiring runes - game doesn't check if you can place a gem to current skills before purchase - I had to quit the game because there was no option on interface to deal with this specific situation. - when some skills fail, a "miss" display would be nice but you end up with an animation and no on-screen effect. - There's not reminder…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's weird how close this is to being pretty good, but with some flaws so glaring (and seemingly easy to fix) that it seems ridiculous that someone would release the game in this state. I get the feeling it was made out of pieces from other games by someone who didn't really understand how the pieces were supposed to fit together. Good narrator voice, okay story, decent graphics, UI *mostly* reasonable. Then we get to where it all goes wrong, with things that seem like they'd be easy to…

I asked for a solution and developers keep avoiding to reply me if i can recover it!! Of course not! They probably are trying to fix it , but by now you risk your time and your money with this game breaking bug, couz Steam wont refund over 2 hours played. Im not the only one with this problem, more people affected in the forums!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Untamed:tactics is a wonderfully crafted indie game, with beautiful and playful artwork. The game strikes the perfect balance between challenging levels, figuring out different tactics to beat tough opponents, and light-hearted joy in the stories and character development. I highly recommend it but be warned: it will keep you hooked for a while!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →✔ doesn't fall into the N vs N tactical combat. Outnumbered combat is completely feasible ✔ good combat abilities (six) and passives (five) you can customize ✔ positioning is important (and pushing) ✘ AI or lack of it ✘ only three characters on your team at the same time in a tactics game ✘ crits are ridiculously powerful and so is parley (extra global effect every N actions, including removing an enemy from combat) - most of this is controlled by RNG ✘ random encounters can be far more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ever since Final Fantasy Tactics, this has been my favorite genre of game. Too bad releases have been few and far between in the last decade, so I was delighted to hear the announcement of Untamed Tactics! Having played for nearly an hour it plays and feels great! Excited to see where the story goes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just want to support another furry game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Refunded. The FIRST LEVEL has you placed up against an equal number of enemies, one of which is a boss with twice your health and attack power who can pull you several squares to himself and two-shot your characters. How about you teach me how to play the game first before you drop something that difficult on me, Untamed Tactics? How do I move properly? Why am I starting with so many abilities? Why do I have 4 or 5 class choices for every character before I've even played? What do all these…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game definitely needs some work. Most notably: - there are a LOT of graphical and UI bugs - basic spelling or grammatical mistakes are pretty frequent - skill interactions and effects can be confusing or do something unexpected, or feel not useful in any situation - The dialog itself is pretty simple/adolescent - Not enough variation in fights. I played a few missions into chapter two and it already felt repetitive If you are interested in the game, get it on sale. It'll give you a few…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's exactly enough content to cover 2 hours, so that you miss the refund window. After that, the game starts a new chapter, and you have reset your characters, reset their abilities, reset their modded buffs and you see the exact same maps with the exact same objectives, with the exact same 'click here to release the prisoner' in exactly the same spot... just cheap, and reuses the same stuff to try to pad out the game. why not just let us continue progressing? making me re-earn all my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Embarking on the journey of Untamed Tactics felt like stepping into a captivating fantasy. Guiding Greycoat and a diverse band of animal allies through tactical battles in mesmerizing landscapes was an immersive experience. The blend of a rich narrative, strategic combat, and enchanting visuals left me enthralled. Unveiling the secrets of the Wilds, forging alliances, and making impactful choices kept me hooked. This RPG is a true gem, offering an unforgettable adventure for every gaming…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A basic but pretty relaxing game, it won't push you too hard or deeply engage you, but it will give you fun in short bursts and a mostly pretty straightforward path to victory. The negative review is because, unfortunately, it deleted my save. There were already small things that were annoying (finnicky menus, the lack of a confirmation prompt when selecting upgrades, the very questionable choice in plot), but losing save was enough to kill any momentum I had with this game and make it hard…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a fun, tactical and original experience. It has a deeper story than you’d expect and fun original anthropomorphic animal characters that shake up “typical archetypes” of characters. The gameplay is tactical and requires deeper thinking about your steps and actions, while being fun and forgiving at the same time. There are a lot of ways how to approach combat with different party members to gear/items that change, which provides diverse experience each time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphics and atmosphere: Untamed Tactics is a beautiful and stylish game. The soundtrack is also top notch - it emphasizes the mood and tension in various game situations. Gameplay: The gameplay in Untamed Tactics is based on turn-based tactical battles between your squad and enemies on various levels and maps. You will be able to control different characters with unique abilities and characteristics, allowing you to develop a variety of strategies to successfully complete the campaign. Plot…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Insulting warrior tiger, selling some random crap to enemy-panda during the combat. 7 murlocs out of 10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall it is a good game, I genuinely enjoyed it, but it has so many bugs and flaws I can very cautiously recommend it to others in its current state. Positives: - Good world building - Good mechanics - Easy to learn and play - Offers different sets of play styles - Charming art - Fairly good story Negatives: - Half the runes don't work, they don't give you any benefits despite the triggers happening for it - Other half of the runes are missing feedback that indicate they are granting the…

Untamed Tactics: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Greycoat is a brave and decorated soldier, and what he loves to do these days is to tell his adventures to the family youngsters in front of a warm fire. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The artwork is amazing, gameplay is really relaxed, looking forward to completing the story line.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wooooo I love this game! The artwork is amazing and the story line is really cool. Its captivating Tactical RPG gameplay goes hand in hand with the enchanting world of colorful animals it immerses you in. Really cool to follow Greycout's epic journey into the Untamed wilds. This indie masterpiece seamlessly weaves engaging strategy, heartfelt storytelling, and stunning visuals into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Refunded after just under an hour for several reasons. Not being very fun or engaging is the main reason and it's pretty rough around the edges, has some bugs and other issues. The gameplay is rudimentary at best, not all that engaging and too many push/pull abilities that are far more deadly than actual attacks if you can push or pull enemies into other enemies or objects. It gets quite silly when all you need to do is run around pushing everything and not using your guns, swords, and other…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a beginner when it comes to Tactical games such as Untamed Tactics. Tested it for an hour so far - and feel that I will definitely want to play some more! The graphics are nice, loving the music, I want to see where the story is going and there is a lot of gameplay for the price of the game. The developers are continuing to work on the game which is always nice to see!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good strategy game that could use some more polishing and a less cumbersome upgrade system with an improved user interface
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reminding me of an old Oliver Twist cartoon (furry one) and the game called The Claw. Like this vibe for now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basic and just above average. A good game to kill time or as a first venture into tactical rpg's. Nothing more than that. My Adventuring Guild is a much better prospect. I give it a 6 out of 10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's been fun, but the story is really not engaging. After a little while I'm seeing the same map re-used, and usually start a run incredibly underpowered, and end it really over powered. It's been interesting to play, and I like the different skills of each character and having to use them differently for each turn. Overall though, I like the game, especially on sale, but don't think I'll play much more since I've beaten the game once.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would recommend it's a tactical delight, but not much there as yet, 12 hours game-play. 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hope can add double speed when fighting. Current fighting animation is too slow, after 2 fighting, I want to change to play another games. Some ideas are interested. So hope it can update, and I'll play it later.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun game, with cool and original artwork and intuitive gameplay!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A delightful Turn Based Tactical RPG with surprising depth Check out our Video Review Here: https://youtu.be/z_QvGOknaVY
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay Walkthrough - https://youtu.be/9uzA7c11pCA Good Game but there is hardly any difficulty in this , it almost feels way too easy . The Story is interesting with 3 main heroes and some extra temporary additions that will tag with you for certain missions . It tries to give the player choice of driving the story here and there with 2 - 3 extra dialogue options There are different runes that buff your attacks with extra added abilities . The most unique thing about this game is the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5/10 for me The repetitive is so high, which kill the fun of this type of game. AI is also poor and overall the game is lack of challenging.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool cartoon game. An interesting plot and in principle not stressful gameplay. I advise you to buy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An exciting, tactical game. The game has many game mechanics that allow you to create your own strategy game where your choice will depend on the outcome of battles. The design team has worked very hard on the game, many animals turned out very cute so and want to take and hug).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it genuinely feels great to play. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →quite mid strategy tbh. but i find it relaxing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was lucky to play the game prior to launch. In a genre that is lately getting swamped with new releases, I'm not surprised that Untamed sticks out. It's shares its IP with the card game entitled "Feral Factions", which I've been playing for a year now with friends. At the core is the idea of adapting to the hand you're dealt. With randomized upgrades and missions, you have to think on your feet while also toying with how to combine these options. Unlike most games, Untamed also doesn't limit…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Untamed Tactics is a light tactical RPG with rogue-lite elements. Overall, it's good as an introduction to this type of game and/or as a way to spend a few hours in a world of anthropomorphic fantasy animals. Players seeking depth should probably seek another game. You'll spend the majority of the game battling in isometric square-based combat maps. The combat is basic and the campaign is easy to complete at standard difficulty. Combat is unbalanced and increasing any stat other than…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I got this for free some time ago (fanatical bundle? don't remember) so I don't feel cheated or anything, but yeah I can immediately tell this is crap. It's super awkward just moving the characters and there's poor information about range and no undo after you've moved the characters - that said I've played better games with such issues and managed because there was something in those games that would make it worth it (Symphony of War comes to mind), but there isn't here. It would just be a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/8LFOnVU975M Numerous rough edges compound to make a final experience that just fails to lock into place as a cohesive tactics offering.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found myself bored by the 3rd battle. Combat just felt so empty and an entire function of combat that chat bubble thing I found more tedius than fun. This ones a pass for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great design, easy to jump in, good controls, upbeat atmosphere, number of interesting mechanics - great add to the turn based genre, especially from a small indie studio
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For fans of turn-based games, it will like it very much, the game looks gorgeous, I liked this theme.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Untamed Tactics is a visually stunning RPG with a captivating narrative and tactical combat. The game offers flexibility and easy-to-understand mechanics, along with a vibrant world filled with charming anthropomorphic animal characters. However, it does have some clumsy animations, minor bugs, and a somewhat generic narrative. Overall, it's a recommended indie game that strikes a balance between challenging gameplay and light-hearted joy.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad story and game mechanics. Everything is intuitive, pleasant musical accompaniment.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, relaxing tactical RPG. Played the free "The beginning" version so was quick to pick up the full version. The graphic style is great, and story engaging. Can be challenging in places, but forgiving enough not to get too frustrating. Plays really well on the Steam Deck (though the font may be small). Seems some of the bugs from the free version have been fixed. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having played the beta: really fun and casual tactical RPG. Combining nice storytelling and artwork with good mechanics. Looking forward to finishing the campaign!

unlabelledView post →Love: artwork, mechanics, lore, music, humour. But still there are a lot of gameplay issues - sometimes healing is bugged and damages you instead, a lot of repetition and abilities/stats reseting in each chapter, which notably makes chapter 4 difficulty spike insane to impossible. An easy fix would be the GUI.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a decent turn based tactics game. I would recommend buying it on sale. I got all of the achievements. Fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend this for anyone who's enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics, and for any furry fan who likes TTRPGs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a decent strategy RPG, but for whatever reason, I don't find it as engaging or addictive as other turn-based strategy roguelites (like Warriors of the Nile, Overland, Dread Nautical, Into the Breach, Tyrant's Blessing, or Celestial Project). Maybe it's because the animations aren't as snappy. Maybe it's because the UI and controls are jankier, and don't have convenient keyboard shortcuts. Maybe it's because the overall speed of the game is sluggish in comparison to some of those other…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its nice and fresh, but controls are pretty clunky
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a lot of fun with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would recomend this game to others. After you finish up the campaign it's just adventure mode after that. After campaign the story doesn't progress any further, so no point in me continuing to play the game further. To beat this game easy, you'll need to have steal gold on all your characters as a reaction. Then you randomly spend said gold in shops for upgrades. It wouldn't hurt to have a healer there with you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is absolutely obvious for me that "Untamed Tactics" will be one of my all-time-favorites that I take out to play when I'm searching for a great and short tactics game with roguelike elements and BEAUTIFUL graphics! There's a little "if" included: If the developers continue to work on content and other features to improve the experience even more. I truely hope that the devs will for example come up with new playable characters - there are a lot of characters I really would love to play like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art is great and I really like the push and pull mechanics. I also really like the way the story is done, reminds me of Hades a bit. Definitely recommended for a different twist on tactics games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this game. It challenged my mind. I like some tactic games. This one was one of the better made ones. I enjoyed playing as different characters.
