positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good combination of fundamental elements. Namely: balanced levels, an RPG system, a moderate amount of dialogue, and pleasing graphics. Because everything works together, I can give it at least a 4 out of 5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don’t know how to explain it, really. This game is really simple, but also kinda complicated? The controls are easy to learn and the core mechanics are as simple as you can get. The story is also not that deep, it’s the classic “save the princess” type of game. It is also not a roguelike (I watched a letsplay on YouTube and the guy called it that for some reason). The map stays the same every time you play, but it really leans into the amberMAZE part of the title. Levels above and under ground…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles are clever without being unfair, but also I had to step away a few times because my brain just melted. What I like most is the balance: there are brutal fights, but also silly moments like romancing the girls or messing around with fishing. It’s a good mix of serious + goofy. Soundtrack is a vibe too. Only complaint? First hour feels slow, stick with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is about young man being surrounded by lusty 100-300 years old women
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 24 hours of gameplay, I just feel like a tourist in this labyrinth… please send me back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lord Ambermaze is a clever indie adventure that blends dungeon crawling, tactical puzzles, and exploration into an experience that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly creative. Developed by Potata Company and published by HeroCraft PC, the game initially presents itself as a charming retro-inspired RPG, but beneath its colorful pixel-art style lies a surprisingly thoughtful and strategic adventure. Instead of focusing on fast-paced combat or complicated role-playing systems, Lord Ambermaze…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lord Ambermaze makes me feel like a genius and an idiot at the same time. Every trap is fair, but my brain isn’t.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game mechanics, boss battles are especially interesting
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game gets a lot more fun when you remember to use your skip and your shield.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an island where time has stopped and monsters have decided to throw a party! From carnivorous plums to exploding pumpkins, you won't be bored here. Grab your magic sword, bow, and shield and set off to unravel mysteries and win the hearts of beautiful ladies!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute, can probably play this with kids.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Music from this game is stuck in my head. It slaps in the most retro-vibe way possible.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the beginning it was a bit too easy, so I considered a refund. Glad I stayed, the game gets really fun and challenging later.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had fun then the game broke on the 3rd level, When I died it spawned me in a new map, I can't get back to where i was because the map literally prevents you from leaving after moving in that map and it cannot be completed when entered from the side i'm in. I also unlocked a teleported in this new area but its the only one I have unlocked in the lava zone so i'm completely locked out and cannot continue the game. If there was a restart zone button or an Unstuck thing that starts you at the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very interesting game with intricate mechanics. Just like in chess, you need to think several moves ahead.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stuck on an island where time has stopped and creatures have mutated! It's action, puzzles, and dating all rolled into one. You fight strange creatures, solve puzzles, catch fish, and try to start a romance. Every step is an adventure, every character is a mystery. I recommend it to all thrill seekers!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Of course, I understand that romance is rudimentary here, butWHY CAN'T I ROMANCE A SLIME?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s Zelda meets NecroDancer, but with a harem of eccentric weirdos and deadly vegetables. That’s a combo I didn’t think could exist. Music absolutely slaps — retro vibes but eerie enough to fit the island’s creepy mood.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game that's a combination of a traditional turnbased roguelike & sokoban and set up like a Binding Of Isaac dungeon crawler. It looked down my alley so I gave it a chance and I'm really glad I did because I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Definitely recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’d imagine this game plays nice on Switch and Steam Deck, devs should look into this if they have not yet
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good pixel graphics with a slightly boring turn-based strategy, but with a cute storyline involving the rescue of the main character's sister
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"I was playing Lord Ambermaze and realized that my life is just an endless maze with no way out. But at least here I can run away from monsters, and not from my problems! 10/10, if you want to feel like a hero and get lost in dark corridors."
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did not expect much, but it’s like 7\10 from the first couple of levels. Might change the score later.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first you feel incredibly stupid. After about 10 minutes it goes away. Now you're just dumb :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like the mechanic, how you need to solve the puzzles skipping the turn. Pretty unusual to me.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first boss is brutal in the best way. Important fights feel like mini-games that force you to rethink everything you learned. Way better than button-mashing combat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An exciting adventure game with unusual mechanics. Time flies by, especially when you're solving puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fishing is either the most relaxing thing I’ve done in the game or the most stressful, depending on whether the fish explodes.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SOKOBAN WITH MONSTERS ♥♥♥♥ YES
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Turn-based aspect of this game really allowed me to see where exactly I f-ed up when I died\lost a challenge. Hated to see it, but fair.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An excellent Sokoban game with logic, great bosses, and stunning graphics. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys strategy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The graphics are cool, the music is pleasant. Some of the puzzles are great, others are... well, so-so. But if you want to wander around a nicely drawn world, then it's fine. It feels like watching some strange cartoon you've never heard of before.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →started playing the game and thought what kind of childish nonsense is this? A couple of hours later - WHO PUT THESE SPIKES AND TURRETS HERE!!! It's the best puzzle game since my childhood
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →looooove the art style, got stuck a couple of times but it is because i’m slow not because game is bad
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would not say that this game has no rhythm. You don’t have to follow a tune, sure. But it is a turn-based game, so a lot of combat and traps actually rely on making the right step at the right time. Really fun, I had to stop for a moment to think in some rooms.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was a little impatient at the beginning, so naturally I died a lot. It is my first experience with this sort of game that looks like your regular dungeon-crawler but is turn-based. Forgot that there was an option to skip a turn, so that also was pain in the ass for a bit. After some time I just realized that I don’t want to stop playing. Be careful, it is addictive!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Couldn't choose between the girls, so I romanced all of them! I'm in heaven(or in a harem).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →want a speedrunner mode and a leaderboard!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This cool game made me rack my brains and immersed me in nostalgia for old games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This needs to be an anime
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lovely game! Puzzles are challenging, I can feel attention to the details. Definitely the game that keeps you thinking!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Am I the only one or Zeyn is kinda ....hot? We listen and we don’t judge
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game seems good so far…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lord Ambermaze reminds me a bit of classic puzzle-RPG hybrids, but with its own twist. The bosses are the highlight for me – every fight feels like a puzzle on its own. You can tell the devs really focused on gameplay first, and it shows. Solid release, especially for fans of tactical puzzle challenges.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very cute game with a great art style and charming story. A lot of fun monsters and characters. Fights are interesting and tactical, and you pick up new weapons and powerups along the way. The puzzles are clever and satisfying. And yes, it has fishing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first I thought it was like Necrodancer, but no. You don't have to keep the rhythm, you can stop at any time and think. Sometimes it's absolutely necessary.I miss games like this with turn-based combat and a single fighter. In fact, almost everything here exudes danger, but nevertheless, the game is quite relaxing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Started playing today and it’s way better than I expected. The puzzles are tricky but fair, and the controls are super straightforward. The soundtrack is pretty nice in the background too – nothing distracting, just adds to the flow while I keep retrying rooms. Feels like one of those games where you lose track of time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished my first few hours in Lord Ambermaze and I’m impressed. The time-step mechanic really changes how you approach combat and puzzles. Every move matters, and I’ve already died more times than I’d like to admit because I rushed. The art style is charming, the soundtrack fits perfectly, and the difficulty feels fair. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy tactical dungeon crawlers.
