The story is fine (better than Operation Thunderstorm and quite similar to the first 2 CoDs), but the gunplay isn't very good (not as good as in Thunderstorm). I'd still recommend you to buy it when it's discounted to $1, as it's a very short game. Careful, the game's steam page shows images of a Vietnam war game, but this is from a different game.

There are nice propaganda posters and the game gives off an oldschool FPS vibe if you are into sort of thing. However, the friendly AI is annoying and the ending is anti-climactic. Overall, Operation Thunderstorm is a much better game in my opinion. Royal Marines Commando is only recommended if you like to play subpar ww2 FPS.

It's short, i completed it in just 1.7 hours and that involved some steam deck set-up.
