60 of 68 · most liked firstthe game could be really incredibly great, but the algorithm is broken. Those are a real stats that I took the time to take from the game: my player is classified as 60, and play against 30. repeated the game 100 times (save and load) and never managed to win, so far so good. now reversing situation by playing player class 110, again 100 games ... 30% win ... goes up to 60% if I pick the right strategy, and as low as 10% if I pick the "wrong one". the game feel more like gamble than…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looking for Football Manager but on other sports? Then you are at the right place. Here's a list of yay's and nay's, and some ideas to improve it. Yay : - It's a niche market : Sport Simulations, and considering I know of only 1 other license about Tennis management and it's coded by one guy alone, you might prefer the more polished aspect of Tennis Manager 2021. - Interface : If you often play Sport Simulations like Football Manager or Pro Cycling Manager, you won't get lost here. It's…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →▶️Introduction Tennis Manager 2021 is the newly released tennis simulation made by Rebound CG. It is the long-awaited Football Manager game for tennis fans. The game gives you the ability to part take in over 2000 tournaments, develop young prospects, manage the finances of your club and more! Pros and Cons 👍Positive aspects 👎Negative aspects Simple manager simulation compared to other titles. The system feel a little luck-based. Runs on a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Randomness, hidden numbers, meaningless interactions with players and press, Cumbersome planning/calendar and gimmicky mail spam I am writing this review as I am ending a 2nd year of coaching. Both years' results have been extremely successful (Junior: R1 both years / WTL: R200 1st year then R100 2nd year). Second junior player in the academy is progressing the same way, so no raging here, just simple facts. Also, important note to better understand the depth of the problems listed below: my…

I will also add I have only been able to play for about 3 hours so will update this review as I spend more time playing. You can find my lets play here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGcGdINvW1k Tennis Manager 2021 holds some promise. With its clean UI it looks more like Football Manager, East Side Hockey or Out of the Park…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played pretty much all of the significant sports management type games out there and a lot that aren't significant. I'm a fan of the genre. This is one of those which looks like it would be good with all the information presented to you, but there is too much micromanagement and it takes too many clicks to do the things that you want to do. Some of the mechanics could be simplified a bit. Right now it's either, let the AI handle everything, or, on the morning of November 18th do I want…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review by [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34633003-Gaming-Masterpieces/lists/] Gaming Masterpieces - The greatest games of all time on Steam. Is this game a masterpiece? Yes, but only as long as you enjoy sports mangement games like Football Manager, Pro Strategy Football, Premier Manager, New Star Manager... but this time for tennis, and not soccer or football. I'd say it is the best tennis management game, but the only similar game I know is the outdated Tennis Elbow Manager.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright, let's write this feedback in English (and not in Russian or French) in order to be visible to a higher number of people who consider to buy Tennis Manager 2021. I have bought this game "thanks to" an important ankle injury, which threw me out of tennis for at least 9 months. I am a tennishead. I play it myself, I watch it and now I also play it on virtual courts. Before, i was more a football fan. I mean THE football which is played with... feet, not this American Rugby thing which i…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended currently. FM like presentation, great potential, easy to mod for real names and pics, enjoyable overall so far, but... Big game and save breaking bugs where game won't proceed when press continue. Game is pricey as comparable to FM cost, needs to be either EA and apx £20 or £30 and be more reliable and actually consistently work
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's early access and it shows.... My first match the ball just hung in mid-air. I had to quit the game and restart to be able to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR - If this game was a tennis player aiming for the big time they'd retire after a day of trying. [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtm6KoyZTf4]Video Review The Good: It's got workshop support for a realistic roster of tennis players. You have quite a lot of influence on the development and performance of your player(s). Training your player has an actual impact, as does your tournament planning. It has potential to be decent, not great. The Bad There are a lot of unfinished…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To begin with, i was actually quite happy with my purchase as i got to grips with the mechanics of the game. rode the highs and lows of a season and achieved the required objectives to go into season 2. First minor gripe is that you are not aware of what attributes would be beneficial in your new role as coach on your first play through, so i hedged my bets and unfortunately didnt get my attributes right. now i'm stuck as a 3.5 star coach with no way of improving. not ideal. basic…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far playing 5 hours, game is interesting. The training coaching is really intensive. Problem I have is that the game seems to hang and crash alot. Always happens when I hit the continue button. Yes to the organizers, I have re-installed the game, re-installed PC and even started new games. Seems to have issues if I start a new academy or play with an existing one. One of the new academy starts froze on 52nd week. Latest new academy start made it to new year and week 15 before crashing and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick Review: TM 2021 Serves it up with a slick interface and solid simulation / management foundation. It has lots of features and micro-management options. The price at $35 is the downfall, buy it on sale! Longer Review: It's got a lot of beef and does the simulation management thing well. Sometimes the interface is a bit confusing, but overall it works well. You run a tennis school and train the players to compete in tournaments and better themselves. There are budgets, training staff,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This gets boring very quickly. Some of the text in the conferences gets the players gender wrong or speaks of the wrong player and i signed a new player who never got added to my player list but was counting as one of my academy slots as though they had joined...shame i didn't refund :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has bugs and if you’ve tried early access and the bugs are still there, (they are), Steam won’t give you a refund. Therefore the review is a big fat ZERO STARS because it doesn’t get past week one. Absolute joke. Steer clear, and read the forums. The game could be brilliant, sadly it’s broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot recommend the game, it lacks depth and gets boring really fast, RNG is also very strong. At least modding is appreciated. Price is too high for what we get.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very minor thumbs up and I wish we could have a neutral option here. I really enjoyed this game - far more than I thought I would, but it's so buggy that it is barely playable. I can play Triple A games on my gaming rig without the slightest hiccup, but this thing dies if you look at it wrong, with saves being corrupted and unplayable after a certain period of time. This has happened with all my saves, but never at the same point. Sometimes just a few weeks into a game, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely recommend based on potential; however it's not even close to complete. The main reason to buy the game now would be to help development. This is easily the most complex Tennis Management game on the market even if a lot of the algorithms seem a bit iffy. Because this is a new IP it will take them some time to find their groove and that's completely fine by me. Football Manager did not start out great either. Overall it's a fantastic purchase if your intention is to support…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not polished enough.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first I thought the price tag was expensive, but I'm enjoying it. Still working through all the tactics and how to get the most out of matches. Wishlist I'd like to see more "promising" players allowance in the avant garde academy selection. A roadmap is essential Workshop Get rid of Training main tactic, second etc. Just list all the tactics. Loving it so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me start by saying the Tennis Manager 2021 is a work in progress. The ratings I'm giving it is for the potential it has (below you can also find the current grades). If you love sportmanagement games and tennis in particular, look no further. This tennismanager is the first game in tennismanagement that surpasses the level of becoming uninteresting and repetitive after a couple of hours. It has training options that are elaborate and fantastic. It has youth rankings and tournaments and a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shunting to a discord server for help, is not help. Do a wiki or manual like everyone else. Thumbs down.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately, it's not what I was expecting. The simulation is really bad and lots of stuff are pretty hard to follow. I am a very long time Football Manager player, which I love. The devs tried to do something similar in terms of UI/UX, but it's really off. It's a refund for me. Sorry.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is unfinished and top 100 players loose to random top 1ks its just a broken and unfinished game engine Also had a top 50 player loose to a top 200 player, the fact that the simulator dont know the diff between top 10, 50, 100, 200 just makes it very unbalanced. Player skillpoint design feels like a FM ripoff. The Balance issues to this simulator game makes it among the worst simulators Ive ever played Im still crossing my fingers for better balancing, cus id love to play it when they fix…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Football Manager for Tennis. What is not to love?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Conclusion: NOT recommended for now. Purchase this game after EA; or after several new features added I am expecting: 1) detailed scouting report 2) more analysis information from my analyst 3) Academy can (and should) also be sponsored and the manager/I should have the final negotiation right(even only 1 round of negotiation) 4) Better in-game tutorial: I don't know what to do with the tactics when I played the first match
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →while i can see the idea behind Tennis manager 2021 i feel that the game isn't worth the price you pay there are plenty of other games out there that you could buy well worth it's price but here are my thoughts and review for this game. This game tries to act like the Football manager for Tennis the idea is there for something good but lets get to the Pros and Cons. Pros Acts like Football manager has the idea and layout to be something like football manager Animations seem good Press…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like tennis, this game is enjoyable. It has just enough content to keep you playing, and more importantly, to have a good experience while playing it. If you don't like tennis, don't buy this game. It's not a great simulation and it's definitely not similar to other manager games like Football Manager. 39,99€ is vastly overpriced for the content that the game offers. Edit: Have now played an additional 89 hours. My original review still stands. Game is great if you love tennis. If you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the app; I don't like this PC game. I expected this PC version to be like the app but without the in-app buying and without the action points system. Similar to New Star Manager, the PC version is the same as the app but with a slightly modified financial / reward system. This game however, is not that. Its a completely different game. The training is done for you - unlike the app that has the strategic decision of short term vs long term and which area to focus. Here you can modify the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game cost too much. Has very little features for the cost. I coudn't even find where to view my previous match history. Needs alot more features to justify $35. But was fun for what features it did have.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game actually good, but need some feature like: -searchbar to find players/academy -need hyperlink on player name -improve UI -glitchy animation in game -saved settings (camera zoom in game)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good, with potential to become great If you like Football Manager-type games and tennis, I think TM21 is definitely worth a try. The good news is that the engine supporting match play and player development seems to be pretty solid. Results are realistic - you'll get upset as a top seed from time to time, and also pull off the occasional upset of a higher-ranked player yourself, but most of the time the better player will win the match. There are also a lot of details you can dive into as far…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am coming into this game without a deep appreciation or a full understanding of the sport of tennis. I can volley a ball back and forth on the court, but that's about it, when I have played I don’t care to keep track of points and play for the sake of having fun. That is the same lens that I used when diving into this game. I have a deep passion for management and simulation games, so I felt comfortable taking a swing at Tennis Manager 2021. The game visually is presented to you in a more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game very bad your player goes to hit a ball and nothing happens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! needs a lot of work done to it looking for an update to try and get rid of bugs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like it, but perhaps you can add 3D Building
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game and sure will recomend it to others.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! An unusual simulator in which you can manage not only your tennis career, but also many cool mechanics, such as hiring staff and influencing the psyche of tennis players during matches.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game doesn't load
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love how it has the players career statistics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is sort of hands off, unlike the Football Manager game. Tennis Manager lets you train your team of players, recruit and watch matches. They are a bit on the fast side..., just the points, but I'd give this game an 8/10 stars.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for immersion then looks somewhere else, This game is fun and is worth getting on sale but the silly errors in it like getting the gender of your player wrong or interviews asking questions that don't make sense like asking how you think the final will go when you've just eon it breaks the immersion a lot, you actually have to get the mod from the workshop to add pictures and names to the game. you have no control over character creation just character name, it doesn't have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is more fun than I expected. A veteran of Football Manager, I expected it to be virtually the same. But it plays smoother and quicker and I love the aesthetics. It's a shame it has no following because I'd love to ask experienced players some questions. The tennis aspect is pretty deep, delving into technique, body positioning and tactics, but in a quick and easy-to-grasp way for the casual fan. The names of players aren't real (Venus Wilyams) which sucks, but I'm going to play…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Font is so small (and not adjustable) you can't read ♥♥♥♥. Computer also runs hot for whatever reason, despite the fact there's not much, if anything, going on for the most part. Saddest realisation is, since it's the '21 version and (as I found out later) there's a '22 already, it essentially won't ever be fixed anymore.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →solid fun addictive
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommend, but with reservations. The game was interesting while I was figuring out how it all worked, but later play was repetitive and quite mysterious. I'm still not sure how to process all the stats, surfaces, recommendations, and opponent intelligence. So I just basically made generically good players and they did well. I enjoyed it for a good long while, but the core game winds up being more hollow than I'd like just because of this opacity with regards to how it all shakes out in results.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just very entertaining and with the emails very pro.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game take nobody and turn them into a superstar
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a tough one to review as it really appeals to me being a Football Manager fan. Similar sort of stats and UI but it needs a lot of polishing. The results seem to be complete RNG at times. I get tennis can be unpredictable but I've done a few tests coaching different players and different ranks and the amount of times a very good player loses to rank 100+ is a bit silly. The tactics often suggest playing drop shots, although I couldn't really find an easy way of doing this in the tactical…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. I feel like I'm coaching a high school team or something while also operating a simulated business. Great to have in the background while doing something else, or can skip ahead through matches.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nicely put together bit pricey though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are interested in the players then you'll probably enjoy this alot. It's fun following the season and seeing players have ups and downs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice game for price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game for Tennis fans who are wanting to learn more about the game and its players or those who just love the sport and wish for a simulation based manager role. This is probably one of the best I have played on Steam. It can lack some indepth options but myself not knowing about Tennis before buying, It helped make it easier to understand. Would say if you really can't wait to buy it full price but if you can get a sale price, even better. Also you must download the rosters from the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is one of the best tennis games out their
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Korean (language) please~~~~~~
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great fun, in depth and very replayable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would be better if you could play the matches yourself; I find the controls used to manage a match to be extremely confusing. The matches you play are significantly more difficult than simulating a match. But still a good game.
