You have the ability to only coach your players, watch your players whilst making tactical decisions, or even play as your players. If you choose to play, there are 7 difficulty levels with 10 sub-levels making a whopping 70 different difficulty levels, no matter how good or bad you are, you can find an enjoyable level. Now,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, where do I start with this review? Firstly, this is an excellent Tennis management sim and I'm already addicted! I bought the first Tennis Elbow Manager, many moons ago in around 2009. Played that game on and off for around 6 years and again, was hooked on it. So, fast forward 10 years and we now have the 2nd installment in the series. Many new features have been added since the first game. You start off with your own (hopefully) Tennis prodigy and you can choose whether you'd like to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked up Tennis Elbow Manager 2 recently being a sports fan (although tennis isn’t one of those I follow closely) I had heard of the Tennis Elbow games previously, but had never played one. I thought I would give the game a try and you can see the footage here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ioDGTvVH2M You take on the role of a tennis coach trying to train the next Nadal or Federer (or Williams’s sister as the female game is available too). You do this by picking the training,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the game I was waiting my whole life. As a kid, I used to manually write tournament draws and seasons, with manual handling of results, champions, number of points, etc. I was always hoping for a game like this, but basically had no real hope in the meantime. All I could find were rather unrealistic arcades of tennis matches. Then, I discovered TEM2. Little indie gem that is basically my most favourite game of all time now. Since young age, I am playing management and tycoon games of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are interested in tennis, this game will make you very happy. If you're not interested, you won't like it. 10/7
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't expect the depth and longevity of Football Manager or Out of the Park Baseball but Tennis Elbow Manager 2 has a better graphic engine than both! This is a fun and simple new tennis simulation worthy of a rally or two from any devoted sports gamer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Though I'm a big fan of the Tennis Elbow games, I was a bit sceptic about what could be that great to make this new version of the Tennis Manager worth to buy it. Well - my scepticism is gone. If you love sports manager games, this is yours. So many new features, thousands of players and hundreds of tournaments in a modding friendly universe. I dont buy often EA games, but this game is already now in an excellent stage. I saw some flaws in the translations, no other bugs or crashes so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've now played this game for roughly 150 hours and I'm pleased to say that I love it. As far as tennis simulations go it's probably the best out there. Through both a real-time simulation and just quick simulation you truly feel immersed with whom you are coaching. And with plenty of difficulty levels you can either make the game as easy or as challenging as you'd like it to be. In particular I love the various time periods that you can play in. You aren't limited to just the current…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tennis elbow 4 and Tennis elbow manager 2 are the most realistic tennis games on the market !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I adore the TEM games, they are challenging, fascinating, and unlike a lot of sports games the challenge doesn't come close to ending when you reach #1. If you put in an honest effort in a TEM 2 you will discover the following: You'll find your first two or three doubles partners going from carrying the pairing to being the albatross weighing down your doubles hopes. You'll feel guilty about ditching your star player's doubles partners even though said doubles partners are likely very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, so I bought the original twice (from managames, and then again on Steam when it arrived), and spent a long time unsure whether I'd gain enough from buying the new version despite having followed it for some time. I'm not very far in yet, and I can't comment at all on the playing side as I'm strictly managing at the moment, but essentially they've kept all the bits that made the original a lot of fun to play, and both added some more features (some improvements to the coaching centre, an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After over 70 hours in TEM2 I feel it's an appropriate time to write a review. Firstly, the developer is amazing! Constant updates, improvements and regular communication answering user questions and suggestions (which he also tries to implement). The game itself is by far my favourite management game and I've played various management games over the years since FM 01/02. The graphics are okay and the animations do a great job during matches. The courts are designed really well and the menus…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game takes a spot in my top two favorite sport management game so far along with the football manager franchise. The addition of a high quality 3d engine makes such a huge difference in immersion and fun, I dont think there are any management game out there with comparable quality engine ( we can control the players or let the cpu control them too by enabling it in the option screen) The management part of the game is fun and addictive although a bit simplistic when compared to football…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just an outstanding game. If the idea of tennis management game sounds good to you, then it is hard to imagine how this could be better. Maybe a graphics or presentation update, but that feels like nitpicking as it gets all the important things right. The gameplay is so smooth. The players play like their real life counterparts. The training and tactics feel meaningful and rewarding. Strong recommend for people who like sports management games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I gave it a thumbs up because it is not a bad game at all, but it just isn't for me as I was looking more for a hardcore tennis simulation based manager. The menu's are really ugly, everything appears more childlike or like a mobile phone based game, and some of the things don't look right. Now, the 3D gameplay I actually enjoy a lot, the fact it allows you to create double matches is a plus, and the better character customization and art vs picture database like Tennis Manager 2022. However,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The career mode is fun to begin with, but as you get to the top of the rankings it becomes a chore trying to keep your stats at a high level and competitive with top players.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun and addictive game. It reminds me of Motorsport manager, but for Tennis instead of F1 racing. You are training and developing your tennis player, and entering him in tournaments. In time as you gain success and $ you can begin hiring staff and building up your little tennis camp as you recruit more players. You can either sim the matches or run them through text results, or watch them play out live to see how your tennis player looks and performs. I usually only watch the semifinals and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a massive achievement from what is about a 1,25-man team. Heavy focus on physics/that this is a simulation, it looks really good ... volleying, serving and ground strokes, basically all physical aspects are impressive. In my world physics and the animations to go with them, are much more important than graphics in high detail. The career system is very good, you have the option to improve basically any relevant ability you can think of and the points system is as close to the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is by far the best Tennis management game. Despite the fact that I spend more time with Black Desert than any other game, my first love in computer games are the strategic/management types: Europa Universalis, TW series, Pro strategy football, etc. TEM2 is now my "go to" game for when i want to relax and play a "strategize" type game for a few hours. I would like to see the training a little more transparent (results can improve an ability by .2 or 2.2% and do not know why!!). Also would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I should probably start with that I was hesitant to spend $20 USD for an early access game, but I really enjoyed the Youtube videos and the reviews below, so I found my wallet and here I am writing this small review. My first impressions weren't wrong - this is a top quality game compared to what is being currently sold on Steam market, so I think that this game needs more recognition and more positive reviews from the tennis community and from the sim gurus out there. Some pros: *Physics…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOTE: TEM2 playtime isn't recorded by Steam when integrated within Tennis Elbow 4 (which is how I've been mostly using it) GREAT MANAGEMENT SIMULATION So this is a great game when you got the itch to manage other tennis players instead of just yourself (see TE4). And when you buy this game and TE4 you can use the manager aspects from this game(TEM2) within TE4 which is fantastic. (Plus if you have TE4, You also get the graphical updates including updated UI in TE4 and the XKT mod) TRY…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played for one hour, could only return a couple of shots back. The MC refuses my orders, to move, etc. How the hell this have V.positive reviews is beyond me. DARK SOULS IS EASIER... 💩 graphics, gameplay, sound, controls and game overall 1/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is unbelievably dull on the management side. It's barely deep enough to be called a game at all. And no, that's not being harsh by any stretch. Just a bunch of stat bars to increase\decrease by passing time. Actively playing the matches aren't too bad but why bother when you could just pick up the the other non-management game instead which I'm sure is much more enjoyable on that front. Unless you're a tennis fanatic I wouldn't bother. It's probably about up there with the cycling…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really enjoyable game. It's more compelling than I expected as you try to balance training/improvement against competing in tournaments/trying to improve your ranking which you need to do to earn some prize money to pay for trainers to help you improve. As you improve, you can attempt to qualify for higher level tournaments - the risk being if you don't qualify, minimal money and points. So I find planning the schedule really interesting, particularly when you come to deciding…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the most enjoyable tennis management game out there. I like Tennis Manager 2021 and Absolute Tennis Manager, and would recommend having a look at them, but this game is my favourite in the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, there are not many alternatives if you like sports management and tennis games, but this one is a good one. Even playing the games yourself is absolutely ok, just the price tag is in my opinion a tad too high for such a one man programmed niche game. But everyone thinks different about money depending how much you have, i guess...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good Game with awesome support. Had a bug, when i first played the Game where i couldnt save my progress. Reported the bug and it got fixed within couple hours. You definetly see that the Game is made very passionate, with the developer loving Tennis. I which other Games had the support this Game still has even after over two years after release. I wouldl recommend this Game for everyone who enjoys playing this kind of Sport manager Games and/or Tennis. Just watching the simlation of a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game, it's great watching your Tennis player rise up through the Rankings, and sometimes pull off a shock win. The only thing i would add is that if there is another version of Elbow Manager then it be would great if the Grand Slams were different to every other tournament. The Grand Slams should feel special, there should be more to them, at the moment they play out like any other tournament. And maybe that can be something that is worked on, there should be more interaction…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →excellent would reccomend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game 843 hours stillgoing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Coming from football management, strategic and rpg gaming, this addictive tennis sim is sooo refreshingly juicy! - there is the career possibilities of a created lifetime character, - the role-playing tactics of a wide assortment of tennis styles, especially as you add more players to your coaching roster, - the management tinkering of controlling your squads training, tournaments, travel and sponsorships, - and match satisfaction comes in 3 flavours: simple text coaching, realtime 3D match…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was pretty excited to play this game since as I'm a big fan of the Football Manager series whose concept has now been applied to baseball, hockey, formula 1, etc. I thought this game might be on a par but it really is just too simplistic. The game has a whole lot of potential but so much falls short on every step of the way that it feels more like a working prototype than a finished product. This game is about where Football Manager was 15 years ago so it's got a long way to go. I don't have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent simulator game, it's very enjoyable to manage multiple players with different tennis styles and work towards making them the best versions of themselves. I look forward to seeing what other features/improvements come out of early access.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In general game is pretty cool It's pretty simple.. but if you like casual managers - then this is right choice for you
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, and fair AI matches
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is going to be a very long review. The TL;DR is buy this game. Now! I really enjoy playing this game. There are so many routes to take when approaching matches, such as controlling your own created player and molding them into a superstar player, recruiting AI players and reviving their careers, recruiting juniors, being an omnipotent coach and adjusting your player's tactics during a live match, using the text match feature to sim through matches quickly, or sitting back and watching the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →first of all. i don't understand tennis. But since play this game, i'm in love with tennis. this game can be improved further with further enhancement on the training facility (like to learn specific skill set, break the limit of the player limitation, change talent and many improvement needed) but in overall i enjoyed playing this game, especially on Master mode :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One the best management/simulation games around... and please check my reviews, I'm not giving good ratings away very easy!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent Tennis simulation - very realistic. Unfortunately the management part of the game is totally unplayable as there is no way to earn any money as a junior. Sponsorships are worth a mere 300 dollars or so a week and yet your expenses are in the thousands. You are always in negative balance which means you can't hire any coaches or improve facilities as advertised. A player was also injured for 97 days and whenever they were nearing fitness would get re-injured again even when they were…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played TEM original, since 2007, for hours and hours. TEM 2 is better in every way so I expect to do the same with this one, so in other words, awesome game for all tennis lovers. BTW. Can't wait for Tennis Elbow 4 :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like tennis and management games then this is a no brainer, even if you like one or the other, its still worth picking up! Great game at this stage, i already have a ton of hours into it in just a week! Room for improvement for sure so i hope the developer keeps working on it but much of the core gameplay, ei realistic matches, points, scoreline is really well done already!! I can't speak to the actual tennis gameplay as i am only playing it as a manager as they have a new tennis…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game allows you to get in-depth into a realistic tennis world, craft your own stories and etch your own name into sporting history. good stuff
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This has generally become my default game that I go to, as much because I can just have the 3D games going on in the background and don't really need to devote full attention while doing other things. I wouldn't strictly go as far as saying this game is that realistic, but it achieves the balance of unforced errors to forced errors/winners that I'm not sure any other tennis game has come close to (if not net heavy). Still enjoyable after all the time I've sunk into it, though I can see how…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An absolute MODEL of both a physical sim and strategic sim. A must buy for any tennis fan.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its fun but the stas degrading erily in your players carrer makes t hard to advance as your always just try to stay infront of the loss of stats this is somthing that sould happen at the end of your carrer not at the start or inyour prime. even if training and i dont seem to have tennis.ini file.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant game! The AI and options are great, every match feels like a proper tennis match and you can't beat a game with good AI. However that being said, a nitpick would be the back button, in the menus you sometimes can not go back and make changes which is a shame but that is just a a tiny thing. It would be nice too to have some unlocks etc but that is maybe for the future. As I say though it is brilliant otherwise, and if you are a tennis nerd or just love to manage players like I do…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremly fun Love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game! There is no game like that out there exept the first part of Tennis Elbow Manager. The only negative thing is, its expensive. But i didnt want to wait for a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nostalgic , remembered me of the old tennis elbow. It certainly improved over time. Recommended
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recall playing the Tennis Elbow games YEARS ago. It was easily the best tennis game I have ever played. Nonetheless, after many years away and in the market for a new sports management games, purchasing TEM 2 was a "no brainer". I love it all over again. I've got one low rated pro now. And I can't wait to build them up and start expanding my stable and tennis empire. If you like tennis and/or sports management games this is a MUST HAVE. It is actually tennis, with all its details.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros -doesn't require much computer requirements to run smoothly -the management aspect is well done -the tennis matches themselves feel pretty authentic, complete with the obnoxiously loud "fault" calls by the line judges -not that hard to play once you get the hang of it Cons -not really that fun playing the actual matches yourself, better to let the computer do it and you watch -time consuming, there is definitely a bit of a grind to get your created tennis player up to the slam level -game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, if you ever looked for a tennis MANAGER game, look no further ! This game is great in its fundaments and basic principles and tries to depict real life tennis as good as possible, be it animations, tactical decisions, training and most of all, the tactic and skill of the AI Players, which arent overpowered to give you a nut to crack...no, they play and behave like real players with strengths and weaknesses and great tactical awareness ! This Tennis game wants to be a simulation and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game from junior to senior tournaments raise your players to the top. really immersive and pretty realistic match play. A shame you cant see the grounds and tournament facilities a bit more or actually see your players train but overall really fun. I got to 16th in the world for the moment, beat famous number 1 roland fidirir so the game isn't too easy or too hard just right. difficulty to see the ball on some colour courts but that's a detail. Basically really good game for tennis and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like sports management games, you will definitely love this game. As a long-time player of the OOTP series, MotorSports Manager, Bowl Bound and Wolverine Studios games, I was interested in finding another immersive title to whet my sports management appetite. I was a bit concerned about buying a tennis game, as I am not a die-hard tennis fan, but after spending a few minutes with this game I was hooked. The game begins with creating your own tennis player or using a close facsimile of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, this is actually more fun than I had thought it would be :) The matches play out a lot like real matches (The same kind of development in the game and some points are short and others are long and full of drama. It's a lot like watching real tennis. The opponent will even clap when the other player makes an exceptional shot and wins the point. A lot of very cool details like that) The only thing I have not yet seen... is a foot-fault :) (But I've only played 3 hours, so maybe it will…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am giving this game a thumbs up but this would be a neutral review if that was an option. There is a lot to like about TEM 2: the management aspects, watching your players grow and develop, and the thrill of entering and winning in tournaments all contribute to an overall solid sports management sim. However, there are a few things, that I believe, hinder the excitement of the game. Firstly, at a certain point it becomes difficult to advance. I understand that breaking into a professional…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took me a little while to get the hang of it, but it's really fun. Definitely recommend reading the manual on the developer's website.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very addictive just one more game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really good tennis simulation, I'm not really a big tennis fan but i like the management games, This tennis engine is about the best I've scene and there's something about starting with a rubbish player and training him to take on the best in world, I'm always wary of buying game that are still in early access as I've been bitten before, But the game is in a good shape, and Devs are active and responding to questions. I have no hesitation about recommending this game especially if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is fun but I hope you guys can add awards every end of the year. More interaction with the players. overall the game is super good!
