60 of 266 · most liked firstTo be honest, I've loved this game a lot and they constantly update and add features. That being said, with the release of the Up 2 You dlc, I can't recommend this game anymore. It is nearly the cost of the game and locks a decent amount of its content behind racing. This isn't Racing Simulator, this is Car Dealer Simulator. And when people bring this up, rather than understanding that some of their player base would like access to the content they overpaid for without having to engage with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game NEEDS multiplayer really badly. It is the missing part of this game to take it to the next level. All of my friends that watch me play want to jump in and help do the different roles in the game like in a real dealership!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a smart blend of those Power Wash Simulator games and a tycoon game, but I just can't deal with the motion sickness. As several others have mentioned, the constant moving left and right, up and down while doing detail work on the car is just an instant ticket to barf town. Wish they'd let you just hire people to do that detail work earlier so that those of us with motion sickness can enjoy the rest of the game. Instead, the devs just said "we have someone on our team with motion sickness…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this game is designed wonderfully. The process of the upgrade of the property is a first time experience for me. It's really amazing how it converts as you level up. I've been playing this game for a little while now. Very addicting. (currently 72.7 hours). I've maxed out most things, but I'm still working on trophies. I only have 1. lol I've been working hard, bringing in new cars. When I search the cars available, I make sure to check some options, like *sort by price*, and I like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some players may find this game redundant, but I find it a great time waster in a good way. I get into the flow of the game and the next thing I know an hour has passed by. I'm 65 and I enjoy it even at my age. I just reached 628.5 hrs on record for playing this game. You might say I like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Putting the showroom/office customization inside a DLC is a cheap, typical, corporate cash grab. If I knew this was the direction the devs want to take this game, I wouldn't have bought it. Nevermind the various bugs in gameplay and optimization, or fails in world physics, the game still needs a ton of work but yet they're selling DLC?! "design your own logo and use it to give a unique style to your dealership and vehicles. Change wall and roof materials, repaint inside and out, decorate with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game this however missed opportunity to have a multi-player would be way more fun and effective i would probably play it more if a buddy and i could do a dealership together

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game but recent updates have effectively killed my ability to play. I cant sell cars without freezing, i lag to end and the worst part, a few months ago i could play with no lag at all. fix the issues and ill give it a thumb up but for now, don't get it till it patches.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got through essentially the entire first area; One of many games in this new era of sloppy 'simulators'. I will not lie, it is the most polished one (alongside supermarket simulator) on the market today, yet still falls victim to many of the same annoyances and issues that prevent me from fully falling in love and ruin it's playability for me personally. The car physics is not perfect, but is OK for the purpose of the game. The game world actually has quite good detail for the scope, however…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, I enjoyed every second of it, too bad the upcomming games are not released as DLC for Car Dealer Simulator and instead come as each of their own game. The game would be 10x beter when the upcoming games get their own DLC in Car Dealer Simulator, making the gameplay far more enjoyable as I don't need to hop games to wash, rent or steal a car for parts that I can use to fix cars I want to sell legit. i hope more updates are coming as I really enjoy playing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I watched Real Civil Engineer play this game and really enjoyed watching. Turns out I also really enjoy playing! By day, work a real job that pays money... by night, work a pretend job as a car dealer and get paid in enjoyment instead!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Im going to put my feelings about this game as simple as possible: I have been attacked on a personal level. What better way to spend my time NOT at work, by playing a game that sums up my last 8 years of employment?? I was a parts manager at a parts store (7 years), while being a tow truck driver (7+ years), and now im a mechanic at a dealership. This game is far too perfect for me to not enjoy, even if my pc runs the game terribly (I need an upgrade badly). The game is everything I love:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game shortly after it came out and honestly I enjoyed what it was at the time, giving it passes on some minor stuff as it was a small team and by and large it was minor inconvienences. Well it's been about a year and my views on the game and devs have changed quite a bit. I no longer will recommend this game. This game is primary about cars, you would think it had passable driving for that reason. Nope, it feels like the person who did the programing never drove before and only…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I use to love this game but its become unplayable. Seems like with every new update or patch there is also a new glitch.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Im giving the game a recommended rating because I enjoyed it, but I do wish there was more to it. Once I was a level 7(or was it 8?) and was able to hire a mechanic, the game became pretty monotonous. (Find car online, buy it, run it through automated body work/car wash/mechanical repair, sell it.) I didnt see any use for the underground car storage or even the additional tank for my onsite gas pump. Leveling up to get more expensive cars, or the second part repair machine, didnt really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game! Let me start off with saying for $15, I got a good 40 hours of gameplay out of this. However, that is kind of where you hit a wall. You run out of upgrades, cars, and tools to grind for around the 30 hour mark. After that is it pretty repetitive gameplay. Some things I feel like new players should understand: Hours 1-5: Car Wash Simulator Hours 5-15: Car Repair Simulator Hours 15-20: Managing Employees Simulator Hours 20+: Tow Truck Simulator and selling cars 1/4 of the time The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly this game is really fun for a while, however it hits a point really quick where you don't have anything left to to. Half of the building upgrades seem straight up useless, the upgraded recovery truck feels worse to use then the trailer you get at the start of the game, and by the time you have employees all you do is go to buy and move cars. I want to tell you this game is good and it feels like the potential was there, but the execution of the end game feels so underwhelming.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've really enjoyed this game, 45hrs in. My biggest complaint is having to find time to buy/pick up more cars. I don't understand how there's 0 trade-ins. you're telling me nobody in town has a car they can trade in for a new (newish) ride? I'd also enjoy an aspect where you can hire others to tow/pick up cars for you and you can tell them the destination. Whether that's from someones house to the dealership or from a spot at the dealership to a mechanics spot to fix/rebuild. there's a lot…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Greedy asset-flip devs that released an overpriced busted dlc that contains content that should be in the unfinished base game. I can not in good faith recommend anyone support such behavior not to mention the game gets stale very quick. The amount of positive reviews and content of said reviews is also very shady.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just meh. I cannot say i don't recommend the game, but it is not very optimised, it lacks content, and is waaaay to grindy when you get to late game. On top of that they release a DLC that cost the same as the game and it should have just been released for free as it contains only customisation options and bonus content. The devs are definitely improving the game overtime but the fact they released an expensive as hell DLC feel like they are just trying to make a cash-grab. But if you're into…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the craziest devs ever. This dude updates this game basically every single day since steam release. And like 1/2 of the days aren't even bug fixes it's adding content to the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is good until the 40hr mark then its just boring because its kinda soft locked because there isnt anything else to do really once you max out the shop. eh needs DLC's
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a casual gamer I really enjoy this game. The ongoing development keep adding new things that keep the game fresh. There are however a few things I have noticed: * The Junkyard shop is not very useful. I can see it being useful if the Repair Machine were available earlier on to repair parts bought at the junkyard. Atm it is just not worth it at all. * The game needs to be a bit more "difficult". Not really hard or anything, but as it stands it's almost impossible to lose money on deals.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game and definitely worth the money at first. The early progression and building up your dealership is really enjoyable. However, once you unlock everything, the game kind of stalls out. At that point, you're mostly stuck repairing parts and constantly moving cars around the lot. It becomes very tedious and ends up taking up most of your time. The biggest issue is that you’re essentially forced into being a full-time vehicle mover. There’s no way to automate or assign someone to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have 387 hours on this game, id say a little over a quarter of that time is idle time, theres really not a lot to do in the game, but im easily entertained, and I was all here for it, when they announced the up 2 you dlc, it immediately grabbed me as greedy, but i was willing to give it a chance to sway me, until the insane cost of $17 was announced, so basically, you get to buy a fairly empty base game, and then go and spend another $20 on a dlc to add things that really should have just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please please please fix the auto save lag!!! I have a rather high end computer and as soon as an auto save comes my whole game is frozen for around 5 seconds. It almost makes this game unplayable. That aside, I absolutely love this game and how much the devs update and improve this game even if there are setbacks at times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy Car mechanic Simulator or Gas station Simulator, this is the game for you. Chill fun experience. Couldn't recommend it enough!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Install the game, press play and realize it's 5AM. Enjoyed scamming my customers, might open my own dealership.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first, everything looked great, but the car wash aspect is a total nightmare: cars constantly get attacked and dirty, and you have to travel all the way to the other side of the city just to buy parts. Unlocking the employee hiring feature takes an incredibly long time, and attracting customers takes ages—plus, 98% of them just leave without buying the service. There are many issues like this; it is definitely not worth the effort. Don't buy it, and don't let others buy it either; I will…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The last patch is causing crazy game lag! Also the auto save interval is too frequent and is locking up my game for a few seconds every time. At least make an option to change the interval instead of just on/off. Autofleet/transporter issues in the late game are killing it for me. Listen to the comments and reviews please! This is a fun game but devs NEED to focus on quality of life and not adding unwanted content. I play driving sim games; I didn't buy this to race I bought it to manage a car…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun game when you get started. Lots to keep my brain busy. Once you hit a certain point though it gets kinda mundane. I wish the devs would spend more time working on the "Car Dealer Simulator" side of the game instead of a bar. I would play a Bar Simulator if they made it but this game is about selling used cars. Still I recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overwriting my last review, the game runs fine, if you are experiencing freezing issues try to run D12 in the startup options that steam gives you
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many grinding achievements which take away the fun in the game if you like earning achievements. Taking a decent amount of time to get them is fine, but playing for 100's of hours just to grind them out is not. DLC price is ridiculous and like many others have pointed out I would have purchased had it been appropriately priced. Setting the price to almost that of the base game is too much and the developer is likely to receive less money overall at this price than if they priced it lower…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So my review is a 50/50. I certainly enjoyed part of the game. However you reach a point where you are only transferring cars from one bay to another. I did not buy the game to do so, and frankly it's extremely offputting to get to endgame to realize your only purpose is to move your cars from the trailer, to the mechanical bay, then to the body station, and then to the washer, then the painter, and then the photo booth. its absolutely insane to think the manager has anything to do with that. I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love the game don't get me wrong but the moment i bought the transport truck my game broke hours into my save file. i can't leave a possitive review for this game till it's fixed. and to the people that are like just adjust the game files to fix it thats not my job to fix its the devs who need to fix bugs not the player.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is better as a mechanic sim than anything. Gets super repetitive on your own. More special missions or ad CO-OP would be nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a lot bugs. So many, that since the release date to today, they have had 198 updates for fixing them and they are no where near done fixing them all. The cost of the game at release was $23.50 CDN, which was a fair price for the game, even being completely infested with bugs. Today they released their first DLC and the price is the same as the base game was listed on its' release date at $23.50 CDN. This is where they lost my support, because if they released the game in such a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game suprised me right out of the box. I love CMS, and this is a great combination of CMS and dealer simulators. Hours and hours of game play, the grind is there, but seems so minimal, until the sun comes up! This game is one of the very few that I can say is well worth the price!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The updates this game keeps getting definitely make it better and better to play. I do wish there was a way to see the total number of repair parts I have available in the storage. Or if it is already there somewhere, I'd love to know where it is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't care about cars whatsoever and the most I can tell you about one is its colour. And yet I love this game. Fixing up the cars is so satisfying. The gameplay mechanics, upgrades and progression are pretty well done, too. The only way this could be better is if I could see a detailed record and photos of all cars I've ever bought and sold and if the car plates were all unique. No matter what games you usually like to play, you might just like this one anyway. I mean, I'm a girl who…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DLC NEARLY SAME PRICE AS THE BASE GAME, WTF!!!!!! Thats absolutely crazy! Also, its a dealership simulator, not racing! Throwing useless crap into the game that we dont want or need and for pricing that dlc that high is pure greed, shameful!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really nice business sim. You can wrench on cars like a super easy version of Car Mechanic Simulator, wash them, photograph for sale, etc. You get to negotiate with customers, you get to leave the shop and drive around town. You can go scavenging for abandoned wrecks to restore, or purchase directly from a junkyard. You start with a run down dilapidated kind of creepy dealership and upgrade it into a reputable looking place. The work is a little grindy at first, but as you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I did not get far enough in the game to make a judgement on the quality of the game progression. During the tutorial, my game crashed twice, had poor framerate, and motion blur was unbearable. This game is in dire need of performance improvements.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is awesome but I wish there was more to do after level 10. The grind in this game was satisfying compared to other games where you are grinding for hours and hours without much reward. Some potential spoilers in the following improvement suggestions so stop reading now (but yes still buy the game!) 1, Make negotiating the sale of cars harder. Currently the customers will eventually pay the asking price. I simply marked them up 35% above market and quickly made massive chunks of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They’ll sell you an unfinished game then add updates that should of been in the game in the beginning with a charge was a fan until the developers got greedy used car simulator adds content for free they should learn from them these guys are just money hungry lost my respect.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was having a lot of fun with this, until a bug soft lock the game for me. I had to repair a car and it showed "Find and fix pipe leaks 0/0", with no leaks to find or fix and it didn't let me advance the quest. Shame, I was really enjoying it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What can i say that other reviews haven't? Well first off the devs are putting out updates like every other day, so the game is constantly updating, and with the other game from devs from same universe coming out in two days more is coming. The game itself was a great idea, at first you start as a car dealership, then you become a owner of a car dealership, and a night racer if you decide to get the DLC. I wanted to just sell cars, but if you don't get the DLC your level stops at 12 after…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game. I have ~250 hours in the game, but if you're expecting a polished, complete game - it just isn't. It feels more like perpetual early access. Bugs will get fixed almost daily and sometimes new bugs are introduced. You kind of don't care though when you're playing the game, b/c there's always something new to buy, play with, etc. The game is constantly growing. But it is by no means a bug-free game. I enjoy playing it while listening to podcasts or before work to clear my head.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last few updates have made this game almost unplayable. Check latest discussions before buying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an absolute banger of a game i work in a car dealership my self and this game just feels like a dream you can also add tax money on cars to make the game feel more realistic but make up for it in different upgrades like bribing the tax agents or smt like this great job all and all also please add the option to change MPH to KM for mileage and speed
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the game. I've spent hours playing it. I recently upgraded the car hauler to the two tier setup. I would like to know if its possible to get rid of the 2nd tier ramp as it seems to cause more problems than it's worth. For example the 2nd tier ramp can't lift trucks. So if I've purchase 2 trucks from making deals, it still takes two trips to pick them up to take back to the dealership. I would appreciate any feedback to this issue. Thank you,

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As so many others, on this game or otherwise, have stated - God I wish I could give it neither thumbs up nor thumbs down. tldr: It's a game with a good base but which fails to (yet) capitalize on what it has. Its systems are complete, but shallow; the world is small and barren; it is stable and well-running game with random technical bugs, plagued with random QoL annoyances that detract from the play but only just. Ultimately, it feels like an early access game yet isn't. As it is, it's a 6/10…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun, but can be a little repetitive. I would call this a "soft" recommend. I enjoy the game in spurts. A few of things would really enhance this game. 1. Wrecking your vehicles should cause damage and diminish value. 2. It should be much more difficult to be successful. It's so easy that it loses fun. 3. Sleep should be required. That would increase difficulty immensely. 4. Employ people (or have the current ones) move to next needed tasks when complete. I really think…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →105 hours of fun. I really had a blast except I opened the door in front of the bar and it pinned me against the wall behind the coat rack. I couldn't get out and the door wouldn't shut. No problem right just click the unstuck character feature. It sent me to the sidewalk in front of the dealership and then autosaved my game for me. wheeew! Wait a minute my feet are in the cement. No Problem right just use the unstuck character feature. Blip Bam Boom! I'm in the same hole. So until the game…
