39 of 39 · most liked firstI do love the work and love the devs are putting into this game, but also a little greedy releasing a new one at this point.... don't get me wrong, it has potential and someday might become great, someday.... but right now it's nothing more than a little update, since the 2021 version feels more like a demo or a beta, they should have just kept improving that game for now, change the name to 2022 and just keep working on it until it feels like a finished, complete version of the game before…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, a fun game with LOTS of major frustating mechanics... PROS: - Really fun to train players and coach them through seasons. - Feels very good to see a player that you scouted and trained reach a high ranking or win some championships. CONS: - We don't really know how the stats affect our matches, right now I have the #1 player, with more stats than my adversary (#110), the only advantage point for my adversary is that my player is in a weak shape and I'm being one sided beat for more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked this version compared to the 2021 version,at least this doesn't feel barebones unlike 2021 Uou can even create a player which is cool However,I still give a No due to the lack of a Official editor If this game don't have editor,THEN HOW COME THE TM REALIST MOD CAME OUT IN NANOSECONDS AFTER RELEASE?????????
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game crashes after a while. For some reason the longer you play the more memory it uses. After a few hours, you'll need to quit it and restart it. After 20 hours of play, the game got to 60gb of memory usage, and that forced it to quit, corrupting my save file.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My first tennis manager game, I have played a lot of football manager and it is similar, you grow a created player/upcoming star or take on an established player, academy can be upgraded in sports, medical, youth & scouting and business, you have to keep an eye on your finances which is fun especially when your player starts to win grand slams and you get a percentage % of the winnings, grow your players and scout new ones, agents will get you sponsership deals for equipment and clothing The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's got a good interface for a game of this type. If you're familiar with Football Manager or OOTP you'll be able to move around in this game pretty well. The matches look good. The problem for me is that you don't have enough control over what's going on. Or maybe not that you don't have enough control, but you don't have enough information given to you about why things are they way they are. So the players mental state is kind of a big deal in this game. In the matches I played, the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've spent a lot of time playing other sim sports manager games (primarily Football Manager), and while this game has a lot of the makings of a good sim sports manager game, a lot of the finer details of the game are just not up to par. The quality control of these finer details is subpar. There are numerous typos throughout the game, the balance of the financial systems is just out of whack (especially early) and the game seems poorly optimized. The overall depth just isn't there from what…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun manager game, my first Tennis manager game so I don't know how it compares to other games but I like this one. Easy to get into, not too complicated but also not too simple. You can manage everything yourself or automate things as you like. Some balancing issues in the beginning but patches have corrected most things so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My previous tennis rival and my teammate from our youth league are playable tennis players in this game :') Here I am a software engineer, managing them on the side on a virtual management game while working on a desk job meanwhile both of them are actual pro tennis players now :') F e e l s **INTENSIFIED**
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this on a lark after watching Zealand play it. Listen...there's a lot here. It's rough around the edges but the sky is the limit. They don't have the resources of Sports Interactive, but I can see this franchise developing into a proper management sim. It's so close to prime time. It's good for 50-60 hours before it gets "too easy." With some attention to detail and some quality of life changes (particularly to the UI when it comes to managing your stable and their training…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's a few things I love about this game. Anyone sitting on the fence? Here's what makes it for me. Is it perfect? No, but things can only get better in each annual iteration at least I hope to see this get better and better. Right now it's just too cute. Play a match in real time and you'll see what I mean, I love it's beautiful simplicity with the characters battling it out on the courts. Of course with time I would hope these are worked on, more realistic characters, with more variety…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly worse than the 2021 version. The changes to shape are fundamentally game-breaking. If your character takes two weeks away from playing tournaments they turn into a vegetable. 3/10.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, so the game is very fun however there is one thing about the game that are incredibly frustrating to me. The player I coach is a big server, and is unbelivble against any player who isn't aggresive, I have an 10-0 record against djokovic, however anytime he plays a player who is also agressive like tsitsipas, he can't win, I get that game plans are important but it would be great if they were less important
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game. How do you create more player?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been searching for a long time for a tennis manager based game and never had any luck, Tennis Elbow Manager 2 was too basic and very dull. I found this game and tested it out and it is everything I have been looking for to scratch that tennis managing itch. It's extremely deep in management, the casual player wouldn't enjoy it in my honest opinion. The game is very strategic, the coaching is a great touch, and creating your academy is the best thing about this game in my opinion, and I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall a good game, but it would be nice to see other tournaments, for example the olympics or the davis cup
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last update to this was October, 2022. There are newer versions available which some think are worse and others better. From what I have seen, if I play again it will likely be with a newer version on sale. For cheap, but fun, this definitely works.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By far the best of the series. 2022 is light years better than 2023 and 2024. Also, I have no idea why the devs release each year the same game again and again. Please wai four years at the very least to give you time to develop a proper game NEW version. All you do is dig your grave with lesser versions of your previous games. One year is not enough time to make a new game and even less playtest and debug it. Strong points : - Challenging yet possible to win tournaments - Good development…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tennis Manager, or as I affectionately like to call it, "The Serve-and-Smile Simulator," is like a tennis match where you're not just playing for victory; you're serving up comedy alongside your killer backhands. It's a game that lets you manage your way through the world of professional tennis, all while serving aces of laughter. From the moment you step into the digital tennis court of Tennis Manager, you'll realize it's not just about making strategic decisions; it's about doing so with a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Firstly I have a less than passing interest in Tennis and have a very basic grasp of the rules etc but i do love management sims. This game surprised me on how good the match engine is, arguably better than football manager. Goes into great depth too. I picked it up in the steam sale at £7 - easily worth anything up to £10, if tennis is your sport this game is a must
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strangely addicting. I found myself getting mad at my players when they under performed. It's a lot of fun building your academy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After all, I had to edit my positive comment into a bad one; Now after around 70 hours of play, I cannot recommend Tennis Manager 2022. The game lacks depth. After a few seasons there start problems with the top stars where extending the contract as the costs don't cover the income. So you turn talents into superstars and then let them go in theyre prime just to look for new talents and start from the scratch again. In addition, the whole fitness system bothers me, it's just annoying and…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No steam cloud, so that's very unfortunate when i found out.... that my saves are not saved after deleting the game....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoying it so far!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →suchn a fun game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible game, absolute waste of money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of fun developing players and seeing them to succeed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been a huge tennis fan my whole life, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this FM-like game based on tennis. What surprised me was the range of realistic tactics and training programs you can implement to improve your player. The only drawback is that the gameplay can become repetitive after a few seasons.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is 90% menus as expected, but it would be cool if it had more graphic elements, for example show an isometric 3D view of how the academy develops with the additions of clay courts, pool, etc... maybe even see your players training on the different courts in a eye's bird view. So you can enjoy your investments more and get satisfaction beyond the simple KPI increase visible in the menus. Why not add a world map for tournaments, etc... That being said the developers have all my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please add Ukranian or Russian language!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, I wanted to play this game a lot more but upon signing a physio, I get the answer needed prompt as to finalise their contract and I am now softlocked as the option is blanked out while the game cannot be continued. I was only about 20 weeks in for something like this to happen, something tells me this is far too commonplace to try working around, I would avoid!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great fun. Would love doubles tournaments, and the translations could be better, but its such fun making your own player the best in the world.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never really interested in watching Tennis or keeping up with it however i find this management sim of it quite fun. It's surprisingly detailed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have enjoyed this game a fair amount. I have another, similar, game and enjoy them both. This one has better graphics and i enjoy the management side a bit more, however, in about 5 hours of gameplay it has locked up/frozen on me at least 5 times which has made it much less enjoyable. I am playing on an M1 Mac.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very detailed, lots of realistic variables, easy to get immersed in improving players little by little
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoy this game. I love tennis and being able to have a game where you manage players rather than play as one is a rarity
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, with some in depth ideas to the sports management genre would recommend to anyone looking for a fun game
