The game in itself would be quite simply fantastic were it not for the bugs, and for the blatant abandonment by the devs. Such a shame. It had potential.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cents the devs wont post it here i will " Hey, Alvo is our lastest game and is avaiable on PSVR with our Oculus Quest coming in March 2022. It has positive reviews and an active community, plus continuous updates since launch in april 2021. What happened with Tech corp was very messy. We had an agreement with the publisher and they did not follow through on their end so it was terminated. They would not pay us money that was owed to us so there was nothing to pay the development team of Tech…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not purchase this game. Its full of bugs and will no longer be developed. (As said by the devs)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apparently this early access title is no longer being worked on. Seems to be abondoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game but I just don't, it is more tedium than fun. They have tried to cram too much into the game without making any of it particularly fun, as I said it is more tedium. There are too many steps required to release a product, the effectiveness of the trailers and commercials seems hit and miss. My most expensive marketing campaign turned out to be the worst and I have no idea why. I can see what they have tried to do here but it just hasn't worked that great. I wanted…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For now I'm just going to mention the key things that might help you decide on buying it. 1. It is certainly a micromanagers paradise in it's current state, but will hopefully improve a bit as time goes by and the devs polish the game. 2. You have to do the tutorial before being able to play sandbox mode, which sucks. Especially since most of the stuff in the game isn't unique. If you've played Startup Company then you will already know the basics. 3. The tutorial takes *hours* to complete,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had high hopes for TechCorp, keeping up with their devlog and emails. Sadly, I can't say there is too much about the game that excited me while playing. The graphics are wonderful, the UI is clean, but when compared to a game like Software Inc, the content of the game is too little and a lot needs to be done to compete. I feel like the current early gameplay is far too grindy and micromanagey, while the game started to shine with the hardware creation aspect. However, that part of the game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didnt know this game was Dead when I purchased it and put 5+ hours into it why is this still on steam?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review copy provided by developer Listen, I understand the whole Early Access concept. Game developers can put incomplete games up for sale, targeted at folks who believe in the vision behind them and who want to contribute to seeing that vision completed. But I can’t review visions, I can only review the game in front of me, and I have to say that Tech Corp isn’t where it needs to be yet. Even for Early Access, this one is missing polish and feedback essential in the management sim genre to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →broken and abandoned
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! We need more games like this. Wish there was a way to scale text but that's a minor gripe. I think the price is fair and am so far really enjoying figuring it out. Would recommend, looking forward to seeing more polish down the road.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dont buy game. Seems the developers abandoned the game. Last update was in august. Dont waist your money on an unfinished game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ABANDONED / SCAM GAME Devs announced game is being abandoned. their website isnt even helpful unless you like malware. SCAM game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring, unfinished, buggy and abandoned (it was announced in on discord, but not here apparently... to keep the sales going)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →could have been a great game... however there are absolutely no updates a shame
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy, game is dead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developers have given up. Game is broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WTF , already abandonware , seriously? no update receive
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*** Abandoned game **** The developer has completly left this game behind, even lost the domain due to not renewing the domain. The "Website" is now an junk site.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →easy to play, hard to understand. Many bugs, unfinished alfa. Wanted a refund but steam says no 17€ in the garbage bin. It can be a good game later a long later.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfinished game abandoned by dev's and buggy to the point that it crashed quite often on me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developers have apparently ghosted. They broke the game with the last patch and haven't been heard from since. I'm asking for a refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Game Was Bad the developer said it was early access but the game had any updates or anything new, i think the developers did not fulfill the promises they said so i give the game 1/10 stars
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So.... Tech Corp. (Allways remember that dot) Tech Corp is most definitely a game I've been chomping at the bit for tech corp. to release given that Technology focused Tycoon games are up there with my favorite in the genre, and, when it comes to tech simulation all the boxes are ticked, there's software, hardware, marketing, branding, hosting, distribution, game design, managing.... okay you get the point there's a lot of features packed into the one game and in part that does become its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many things implemented in a bad, complicated and un-fun way. You guys should focus on specific features one at a time then trying to do everything at once.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I WANT MY MONEY BACK TH UPDATES ARE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ NO MORE CUSTOMIZATION? I WANT MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →give my money back.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is broke as all hell. The dev doesn't seem all that interested in a fix but there was real promise here. Alas, it is still a mess. Playable, mostly... But also a mess. You can have some fun with it but eventually the unavoidable bugs will get you and you'll be sadly forced to concede further development. People need to push Steam to turn games that are abandoned like this over to their respective communities. Often there are people outside of just the devs who played the game and saw…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is incomplete, and coincidentally I have discovered the complete game (Startup) with a new name and supposedly a different developer. Why does Steam accept this? I bought a game that was supposed to end, but they release the finished version elsewhere and so we have to pay for it again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After exploiting steam system to stay on top of the upcoming releases list for a long time, they failed to deliver an enjoyable product. Great potential, nice ideas, not so good execution. There is a lot of work to do, must say has potential but at this point in time, where almost no early access title meets the expectations, I can't say it's worth the money. If they manage to fix what is broken and make a tons of quality of life improvements then it's going to be worth even more but right now…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cheap copy-paste of the Startup Company. UI is inconsistent and botched. Some images or icons are very low resolution. Gameplay is shallow, music and sound are basic. I normally enjoy these games, but this feels just like a copy of another game. ❤ Audience ❤ ☑ Beginner ☑ Casual Gamer ☑ Normal Gamer ☐ Expert ☼ Graphics ☼ ☐ Bad ☑ Alright ☐ Good ☐ Beautiful ☐ Fantastic ♬ Music ♬ ☐ Bad ☑ Alright ☐ Good ☐ Beautiful ☐ Fantastic ☠ Difficulty ☠ ☑ Easy ☑ Average ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, if you like this kind of game, you wont be disappointed. But, there are some issues at this moment, that I would describe as crucial and it also became a reason why I do not continue playing. 1. Marketing campaigns - super boring, too many windows and selections. I have to to quadrilion marketing campaigns..i hate it 2. Clickfest - I am sure all those clicks can be simplified. My manager can be assign a project and he can just lead all programmers thru it...i dont need to change the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Many Bugs like the managers barley work and creating games feel kinda bland needs work. but seems fun
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Broken beyond belief at the moment
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright, so i don't feel like alot of the reviews here are very helpful, and does not make you completely understand what pros and cons this game has. I might as well say it if it is not obvious from the "Early Access" title. If you buy this game, you buy it to support the developers. You dont buy this game to get a finished and completely polished gaming experience. Short Version: Pros: Nice Graphics The right idea for the game Lovely development team behind the game Cons: Lack of freedom…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tutorial and progression is broken and it makes me so angry that I just lost £16 because these developers couldnt be bothered to update and fix this damn game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →completely abandoned
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[Disclaimer: This review copy was provided by the developers through Save or Quit. The full article with visual aids is listed down below at the bottom; my Early Access Rating of Completion/Competence will be posted on my blog-site article.] Whenever the thought of videogames crosses my mind, real-life management sims are perhaps the last type of game I would ever think of; they are somewhere within my subconscious above sports games and MMOs, yet nowhere as traumatic as most visual novels to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was a little worried when i first started this game that it may be catered towards the casual gamers (I hate casual gaming) but i was very pleasantly surprised at the complexity of the game it is very in depth and can be very addictive if you like in depth games. Sure it has its fair amount of bugs at this stage and a few areas could be simplified a little more but this is early access and not a final product.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had so much potential, but the devs just gave up the game. Such a shame, spent 20 bucks on this game to deal with constant bugs :/
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't recommend this game at its current state. It's not polished enough for me at least. For example, when typing a name for a game, if you press F, C, E and all those shortcut keys, it will open their corresponding window, its really annoying. Another glaring issue is that apparently if you upgrade Utility Hardware (Headphones, Videocams etc.) past 5th gen, it starts to bug. As in, from 5th gen onwards, Utility CPU and Desktop CPU become the same thing (As in that Utility CPU is usable in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tl;dr - If the devs keep updating and listening to feedback, this WILL BE a good game. However, in it's current state, I cannot recommend it. I plan on coming back to this game for each major update because I feel the potential is there. https://youtu.be/6Y-uNKvHEbo pros - one of the better looking business simulation games out there - tons of ways to make money cons - everything seems way overly complicated - every step you take in the game you uncover another layer of something you need to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is great but currently unplayable! I got "PAUSE" manu bug where can't do anything on Week 44 usually. :( Hope they will fix their product so i can finish mine! :D
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can't get past the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial and you can't give your platforms, and games names with S E P and more shortcut-keys. Awful game. Would be better if it wasn't so buggy and gave more explanation in the "Objective" window but noooooooooooo You gotta guess what they mean by "Release a product with 1 add-on" But it isn't a phone with an add-on 4/10 Was fun while it worked.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't get past the tutorial. Its broken and steam should stop selling it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is broken don't waste your time or money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute trash... developers stopped updating after one update.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring Boring very boring very very boring very very very very boring "game"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not sure if worth it in this stage of development. Plus: great potencial few bugs nice graphics good idea Minus: 2 screens you must nonstop switching managers "only" sanding your employees relax, you cannot target manager to one contract, olny one part of it, soit doesnt help you no autobuy for supplies to your factory no managing for your factory no save product when creating new product for me is too big prise for the stage of development. I hope developers will fix or do…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tech Corp. is a start up tech company management game. The tutorial is pretty easy to follow. Buy desk, hire employees with different function such as a sales rep in charge of getting contracts, programmers, managers, researchers, engineers and the list goes on. The management of employees is somewhat basic where you need to give employee breaks to manage their effort in the completion of a contract in by the deadline otherwise you lose time and money.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't get out of the tutorial, before I got my money back. Like most others have said: way to much micro management. You have managers, but all their good for is automating breaks. I like to micro manage, but this was even too much for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little tycoon game, very similar to others in the genre like Software Inc, but is already great fun and shows real potential
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of concepts taken from Startup Company. This game crashed 4 times during 1.1 hours of playing. Lot of tedious stuff, lack of meaningful decisions. Play Game Dev Tycoon or Software Inc.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I understand this game is Early Access but as a fan of management style games, this one is the worst I've played to date. Clunky, unpolished UI, pointless staff such as the manager, with a complex and high learning curve it really doesn't do justice to teach you the game in a fluid and memorable way (I blame the UI especially for this). I had high hopes but I played it for several minutes and instantly regretted buying it as I got so frustrated and confused most of the time. Always play test…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've put ~1 hour into Tech Corp and had to write a review for the simple fact that this game is awesome in it's onboarding process. Most games like this I struggle to really "get" but, after a second attempt (because I didn't get how managers worked, but it was a me issue not the game issue) I was able to get up to the production phase. I really love the aesthetic and can't wait to dig in more. First Look: https://youtu.be/1OxCf0Xys38
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had so much potential, but the devs just gave up the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an abandoned title that should not be left on the store for others to buy and waste their money on. However it is a shame as this game had potential.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →so many bugs, progress was made impossible because of bugs. DO NOT BUY
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I went through the link on their store page to the website. It's an animated graphic galore in Chinese. Guess this dream was not meant to be....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game but its just very tedious. Couldnt enjoy my time unfortunately
