This developer abandoned this game. Then proceeded to release -effectively- the same game, only to abandon it as well. Was exceptionally fun and promising once upon a time, but any potential was squandered. Abandonware, do not purchase.

Fun game. But damn these publishers are greedy mother F**kers with how they abandoned this unfinished, high potential game and went to make a second... which by the way, they also abandoned that game too. You should avoid this publisher like the plague, cause these types of people are a plague. The first game itself is actually quite fun, even if janky and unfinished. It is only 5$ so you can't really go wrong with it. You'll no doubt get your worth out of it. The 2nd game is no such thing.…

Essentially shop simulator like there's dozens of better ones. Order stuff, put it on display or appropriate shelf. Different items require various furniture to able to display them. Raise prices, most of time increasing more than 10% of original value is enough to scare off customers. After opening shop your deliveries pop as chest in the backroom. Pick them and place them in shopping area. Fight some goblins and other nasty creatures that appear later on trying to break shop furniture. Repair…

Shoppe Keep was a charming and enjoyable game when it first came out, offering a unique blend of shop management and RPG elements. However, over time, the experience becomes less rewarding. The lack of scaling in gold earnings as your shop expands can make progression frustrating, and the game eventually starts to feel repetitive. It's unfortunate that the developers shifted focus to a sequel, leaving this once-promising title without the support it needed to truly shine in the long run.

Shoppe Keep stood out back in the day, but the execution always made it difficult to enjoy. Even if you overlook the clunkiness, the game is poorly balanced—it's too easy, or too hard—depending on how things unfold and what you build. I don't hate it, but current simulators are doing it better.

This game was fun for a bit many years ago, but as you've probably already seen on other reviews the developer abandoned it. They then released Shoppe Keep 2, which was also subsequently abandoned. Do not buy this, Shoppe Keep 2, or really anything this developer releases

This was basically a scam. They promised more in the game then didn't deliver because they wanted you to pay for the VR version. Or Shoppe 2, so yeah very disappointed half the things in the game last i played that said coming soon just were for a different game and never released. So they just got a bunch of money on false promises. Won't buy games from this company in the future because no trust now.

I am a 45 year old biker and trucker father, and probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account…

Shoppe Keep is an older game from 2016. It's a venerable 8 years old at the time of this review. The game is an unusual but interesting one, essentially a business tycoon meets FPS meets platespinner/number incrementer game. You have a small fantasy shop, and you sell potions and weapons to NPCs who wander in and out. You start out just selling a couple of potions but eventually you build enough gold up that you can buy more shelves, stock more potions and weapons... of course, this means…

Don't even think of buying it. I remember it being raw but fun back in 2015. It HAD a better gui and controls and gameplay flow and... well, everything. But right now, it's just some abandoned mess. Shoppe Keep 2 is an abandoned mess too though (or should I say Abandoned Mess 2?). Shame on devs. They could've just added some new items to sell to the 2016 alpha to make it a playable abandoned alpha. Instead, they tried to make something begger and then in the middle of the process they were just…

I wish I believed the negative reviews. Everything in the description read wonderful and exactly what I usualy enjoy to play: something like Cozy Keep (check that game out for a version of this that acually feels like a modern Early Acess game), but with a whole town and freedom to roam it! It isn't bad, so much as incomplete. The adventurers don't scale with your shop very well, and the amount of gold you can get out of a shop scales in huge jumps, then very slowly unless you enjoy spamming christmas trees and the like. That gold doesn't translate into your champion (An NPC that you send on adventures) being able to complete adventures better, in fact, the best strategy to find items for your champion... Is to search the trash can out front. Anyway, it isn't a bad game, I'd…

The game had potential but unfortunately there is not a lot to do. At most this is a game most would play for a few hours then never play again. After a certain point, maintaining the furniture, taking inventory and sending out your champion becomes extremely tedious, this game is very grindy. Only played this long for the achievements which were extremely annoying to point I used mods.

Shoppe Keep is a fun and addictive game where you get to run your own medieval shop. You start off with a small store selling basic items like bread and apples. But as you progress, you can expand your inventory and sell more exotic goods like potions and weapons. The game has a charming art style and a great soundtrack that will keep you hooked for hours. Game's fun if you know what you're doing (aka sell stuff to people in person and farm exp even before building a proper shop), pretty bare bones and it doesn't really have a reason to "exist" if that makes sense, one day you'll just be satisfied/content/bored of the progress you've made and you'll stop playing it, there isn't an objective at all. However, in most of my time playing it, I was scrambling to try to simply figure out how to even play. There is a lack of an actual in-game tutorial, instead only giving you barebones text only tutorials that fail to provide much guidance at all. Restocking can be automated. Zapping thieves can be automated. Too bad you can't speed up the time... I've never played a Shop-Game that was as clunky and unintuitive as this one. Having a "tutorial" that is just a bunch of text in the menu just doesn't cut it. Never did, never will. A bit more guidance could have made this great. With the last update having been in 2015, this is as dead as it gets and What you see is what you get. As it stands, this is a big no from me.

Ok, so Shoppe Keep would probably only endear to specific public who likes subgenre of management sims - store management. But it’s quite budget one. So you man the store that sells good to adventurers and townsfolk - so stuff like potions, swords, herbs and so on. You yourself is not gathering it mostly, cause you can only travel within city walls, so not really the best place to get ore or wood. Majority of goods come from ordering them on delivery, with some coming out of people in town or…

Shoppe Keep is a quirky and light-hearted shop management simulator developed by Strange Fire and published by Excalibur Publishing, offering a refreshing twist on the typical fantasy-RPG formula. Instead of slaying monsters or completing heroic quests, you step into the role of the merchant who outfits adventurers before they head off on their exploits. This reversal of roles sets the tone for the game’s playful approach to commerce, chaos, and customer management. From the opening minutes,…
