It's another of those games I would've hated to buy full price in 2006, but it's interesting to give it a play today.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As more and more games are released on Steam daily, it becomes more and more important that they have a mix of quality features. It’s not enough to have only fancy graphics or a unique combat system, because plenty of games have tried to ride their one-trick pony to fair and been hit by a train on the way. That’s why games like NeverEnd are baffling to me, games that do nothing in particular well and just… hope to do well anyway? I don’t know what anyone expected of a game with endless boring…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- The combat is clumsy - I got the feeling of a poorly copied Bindning of Isaac game - The block does not always work, never on the cat enemies (dont know if its intended) - Soundtrack gets really old really quick + Nice graphics, I'm a fool for blocky styles Could make this game better with adding hearts to levels so taking a little damage wouldnt hurt the run too much.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NeverEnd is a difficult pixeled-graphics game I noticed that the gameplay is somewhat buggy.. & the controls are in a way or another, irresponsive... The gameplay gets boring & repetative...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only good thing about this game is having trading cards.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never playing this again more like it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but hard dungeon crawling game, I had the feeling that the rooms in this dungeon are infitite :p You will find a lot of different enemies to slay, and they are not always so easy good that you are able to buy things to make your path a little more comfortable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o56XFCDM2Z0
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I almost got the cancer while playing this crap. No AI, no fun, no gameplay, not worth money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shovelware from your nightmares.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wanted to like this game, but the controls are bad, combat is extremely clumsy, blocking doesn't always work and to be honest I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing or what's happening or how I can get stronger.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here is my next game, NEVEREND: The Infinite Dungeon! A rpg type game where the goal is to kill monsters and get a high score! Give it a shot, it's free! sprigsprite.itch.io/neverend #gbstudio #gameboy #pixelart

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really hard game. Great graphics. Coop is great in this. But definitely not my genre. Maybe if u will buy it in a sale it will worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's worth every penny I spent on it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →simple rogue like dungen crawler game where you roam from room to room defeating monsters. what seemed peculiar about the game - first, rooms looks: all rooms are square, so the game takes 60-70% of screen space, but it adds some visual symmetry. second - you can have pets in a game, in addition to upgrades every game seem to have, you can have lots of pets following you and helping you to defeat enemies. graphics is made really simple, but this is not a kind of game where we really need lots…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NeverEnd is an extremely badly made shovelware low poly/voxel/minecraft looking "dungeon crawler" with incredibly shallow RPG elements that looks and feels a lot like a lazy cash grab dumped on Steam to try make gaming worse for people in exchange for a few bucks. I definitely feel gaming got worse the moment this was launched. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon voxel…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On the positive side, it is a game, not a random achievement spammer or an asset flip (as many products on Steam these days). The enemies are different, the shield can be used to block attacks (but not *charging* attacks), so some thought was put into this. However, it is way too tough (3 hits, which you can suffer as soon as you enter a room full of monsters, and you are dead), and very repetitive (only 3 basic enemies, a few minibosses, and a nearly impossible final boss). With more balance…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NeverEnd. You know what else never ends? Greenlight trash. Valve, fix your review system. This title somehow has "10 out of 10" however if you scroll down - the majority is bloody communist red. It's now so much easier to exploit. Just buy the game "legally" from the store to 10 random people for a review and voila! Game of the century!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moving and fighting are incredibly stiff, blocking seems to do nothing. Exploring the dungeon just feels torturous. But hey, trading cards.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow,so hard.but i like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Utter garbage. I feel like this is someones "Intro to game making" project. Don't spend money on this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another Rogue-like? Please stop.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though it is devilishly hard theres a certain addiction that wants you to do that (Just one more level go) .For the money i'm not complaining. It reminds me how a lot of todays games are so much easier to complete than the oldies.(Remember buy the fishing rod)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has that one more go approach to it... hard and fun... Little tip for some people get fishing :) Cracking game if you ask me. I had many cold cups of teas waiting!! Thanks Devs :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is boring game, with bad controls, annoying music and stiff attack.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring gameplay, repetitive music, boring gray rooms filled with boring monsters. I mostly hate zombies. Because you just can't retreat and hit monsters at same time. Even with controller! BoI is a masterpice compared to this cheap clone. Boring and useless!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEVEREND 1.5 (subtitle pending) will be my first paid game, which is scary because ain’t no one gonna play it but I’m putting enough new stuff into NEVEREND that I feel it warrants a $5 entry point. For anyone who checked out NEVEREND: The Infinite Dungeon you’ll know it’s got only the essentials-
unlabelledView post →NeverEnd, developed by Duck and published by Sometimes You, is an ambitious roguelike dungeon crawler that attempts to immerse players in a dark, procedurally generated world of endless challenges. Released in 2017, the game casts players as a lone adventurer awakening in a mysterious, sunless realm filled with hostile creatures and labyrinthine corridors. Its minimalist narrative focuses on survival and exploration, with the ultimate goal of navigating the ever-shifting dungeons and uncovering…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In theory I shouldn't really be enjoying NeverEnd. It plays like a gaming project, something out of a game jam that's not even mildly interesting. Yet, I have invested almost 11 hours into it. I keep asking myself how, but most importantly why? It plays like [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/250900/The_Binding_of_Isaac_Rebirth/] The Binding of Issac - that is essentially the gameplay loop here - you start in a dungeon with basic equipment and progress through randomized rooms, mostly…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game for free from somewhere, don't remember where exactly probably some sale event giveaway or whatever, and after seeing that there were mixed reviews on the store page, I didn't bother even installing this game... until the Summer Sale 2019 event asked me to play a new game and to write a review for a game, and I can't pass up points that I will never use for anything so I decided to try this game. After playing it for 5-10 minutes, I can safely say that I am glad that I passed on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WT... This game is pointless... The character is slow and pointless and this feels like a 12 years old's classroom project. What is the point?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →theres a certain addiction that wants you to do that (Just one more level go) and this game unleashed that in me .pretty cheap Im not complaining...

unlabelledView post →- to make it a game, but NEVEREND 1.5 while retaining the battle system will have multiple starting characters, an exploitable dungeon and at least one new enemy attached to how you collect upgrades. Monster level isn’t gonna scale after every fight either so you’ll have an easier time going to-

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't even like binding of isaac, and this is just that but worse. The only way to play appears to be run away, turn around, melee swing, run away before you get hit again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only good thing about this game is having trading cards.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried to like it because I'm a big fan of Roguelike games, but after 2 and a half hours I had to quit. The game looks mediocre, but the visuals are not the biggest problem since the gameplay is even worse; it feels like it's not working the way it should.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a horrrendously bad game. Even calling it a game feels wrong. The controls are abhorrent, both in-game and in the menu (I didn't even know that was possible). This game is "difficult" only because the combat and movement mechanics are so poor. The controls make no sense, and are not re-bindable. Not only is this game not worth your money, it's not worth the time it takes to figure out that it's not worth the money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game might be best described as “exploration horror”. The artwork is fantastic, sound design is great, but, unfortunately, the game isn`t really polished. While the art style is perfect, a lot of the assets are reused and, moreover, enemy types are limited.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Without a doubt the best mini-games I have played on steam (I can see hours of fun ahead of me) ... I am looking forward in seeing what Duck Dev's do next.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just like Binding of Isaac but without story and cost 2 € .... it.s good not the best .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Waste of money and time...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NeverEnd is a dungeon crawler that offers quite a challenge. At first, I got quite frustrated because I couldn't seem to progress at all but at some point, I got the hang of it. It is challenging and repetitive, but I like it. The only thing I didn't like is the music. At first it's cute, but it gets repetitive and annoying really soon. Other than that, I would recommend it to people seeking a challenging dungeon crawler!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Soooooooo... Hack and slash placed in dungeon, where you buy gear, drink potions and go fishing. So it's almost like Torchlight :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First impressions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oIVT-jlsDU I really liked the look of this top-down rogue-like from the screenshots I saw, so I figured why the heck not? I found it to be immensely tough and I wasn't able to make much progress. After 40 mins or so all I had to show for my efforts was a new cardboard box hat! Still, if you want a challenge and a game where swinging a stick is a skill unto itself, then give NeverEnd a try!
