Single-player is fun but very similar to the first Shoppe Keep, as the things they promised to add never came out.

Unfortunately, the developer bit off more than he could chew and left the game as a half-baked product. The world is so dead that it would have been better to not even have it and instead focus on the town/shop elements, making those better. Also, there are sooo many bugs. Basically the game feels like it is in late early access rather than a finished product.

First of all bot inventory limit is set to 40, and limit of bots is 5, so much for automation? Imagine having some 500+ items in game, but your bots will at most restock 200 for them, and that if you renounce to have bots run the other tasks like cleaning and repairing. What's the point of a big shop, if you can only automate 200 items? You can just keep it empty.

I still enjoyed though, there are a few references from other games if you can find them (graveyard keeper is one of them) Don't buy if you're expecting updates, they will never come.

It took me over an hour of searching online just to figure out how to change the price of items/with the price gun (You have to use some kind of shift + mouse wheel command to actually change prices). At some point the game says you can make loans but I never did figure out if that’s a thing or how to do it. At first it was a rather hard start to get enough money and taxes to improve the town but after 30 minutes we got the money train rolling. I spend a large chunk of my time improving the shop and paying taxes and my friend went out into the wild to hunt some creatures. After 2h we got got pretty sad about the environment.
