This game was designed for you to be sitting next to your friend. I play a significant amount of co-op games, but Rez Plz scratches an itch I didn't know I had. They turned "friendly fire" on its head and gave me a world that I can spend hours in, ignoring story, and just mess around with a buddy. The puzzles were fun. The pixel art is super creative with really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the first bit with my brother, and it wasn't really our cup of tea. The game feels kinda empty - the levels having a repeating theme with lawl-death types of puzzles. I was kind of hoping for some more of the humor that the game shows in the trailers to be apparent, but each one is a series of very empty-feeling challenges. The really strange part is that, while the game is based on co-operative play, it feels remarkably like a single player game, where one brother has to either stand…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute story and characters, nice graphics. The general groundwork for a good idea but something was just missing. Gameplay was lacking that fun-factor. Felt tedious, repetitive, puzzles weren't fun to solve, just gave us a feeling of "ugh ok now what" 5/10

Then another one for 50 deaths, but the first locks again (as if you've never obtained it) and you cannot unlock it anymore. In a similar fashion obtaining an A rank wipes out S ranks that you've obtained previously. The best part is that upon closing the game ALL achievements become reset anyway. It's a damn shame because it seemed interesting.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game, very fun Co op. Challenging too. Glad this is finally out! But. There are quite a few bugs. I.e switches not working and having to restart a level because of that. Or even certain mechanics not working. This makes it very frustrating on difficult levels. Which gives me mixed feelings about this game. But upon further review... I still have had fun playing it. The good fun outweighs the annoying bugs (I do still continue to play it). The devs responded to this review and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is so much fun. I love how I'm finding myself laughing at all the funny ways I can die in this game. Very well done.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking for some dark humor, puzzles, awesome hand drawn art/sprites, finding treasure, and some good ol' solid platforming, you've found the right game. Yes, there are 2 characters to control, but playing in single player feels and works very well. Plus, you don't gotta deal with pesky player 2 trying to hog all the glory. >_> I have also played with a second player, and it's a lot of fun! Especially trying to figure out some of the bigger puzzles, or when you feel a bit betrayed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it was fun up until you soft locked at a puzzle and were unable to go any further into the game bricking your playthrough. was doing the correct answer for the puzzle (even looked up walkthoughs) but the game wouldn't let us pass so it's hard to recommend a broken game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What about RezPlz? He is incredible in ALL ways and delivers much more than meets the eye, within his proposal. If you like puzzle, pixel-art, fun history and charismatic characters, RezPlz will deliver it to you in unimaginable doses! The game is not so short, but, of course, it depends on your ability to solve the puzzles, however, it is guaranteed at least something around 5 to 6 hours of a lot of fun and deaths (yours)! Visually the game is VERY pleasant. Not only has his art very well…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is AMAZING! The perfect thing to play with a best friend or sibling. The jokes land, the puzzles are fun, the controls are responsive, the animations are beautiful, and there's even kids dying! The perfect addition to any couch co-op fan's library. I'm gonna buy it for all my friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliantly designed Co-op puzzle platforming in which you and a buddy take turns sacrificing their bodies to overcome dangers, only to be resurrected and go through the pain again and again. https://youtu.be/OY92cDr8hf0
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid puzzle platformer with creative design.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2/10 on the slow side and playing alone will have you doing the same things over and over cause you need to move each person one at a time
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really fun puzzle platformer. I'd highly encourage you to find a buddy to play with as this game really shines in co-op. The humor and puzzles can be a bit irreverent and brutal, but I find that very endearing. I've been using a keyboard which takes a bit of getting used to, but I imagine playing on a controller would feel a lot more fluid. I love that the game offers Steam Remote Play support so only one person has to own the game and you can still play with your buddy online.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game feels criminally ignored for how good it is. Yeeting yourself and loved ones into deadly hazards is entirely too appropriate for the days we live in. I've only played in co-op, which is just fantastic. The central mechanic of needing to kill yourself or your brother to navigate a level works very well, and sets up a lot of the great kinds of laughs that emerge from something going wrong. It feels very appropriate for a wide range of skills and ages as well. There's often one set…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really unique take on puzzle platformers. A great coop/solo game with interesting way to approach puzzle solving and dark humor. Pixel art animations are well done, progression is well paced but biggest strength of this game is its Coop component, dying never felt more fun, especially when its done in name of progress!...in a video game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tbh its the game that i didnt know i was waiting to play , it should get more attention the mechanics in this game are amazing each level intrduces a new ability a new puzzle , the dialog is funny the story is ehh but tbh this is the type of game where you can enjoy everything from the funny deaths to the rezzing to the soundtrack and to the weird glitches that make you restart the level
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had an absolute blast playing with my friend. I don't think we were able to go more than 5 minutes without laughing at the shenanigans we were able to get up to. When you're not busy trying to kill each other, the puzzles were fun and interesting, and it was cool seeing how even just between the two of us the different ways we would try to solve them. Highly recommended, especially with a good friend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just realised that REZ is not on Switch! oddly there is a game called REZ PLZ - which is how I feel sure... but is not the game I am looking for :D
unlabelledView post →Fun co-op game to play with a friend. Original game mechanics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Defective game. The camera glitches 40 minutes in, no longer showing your characters and rendering the game unplayable. Repeat attempts don't help. The concept is cute, but bad programming makes the whole thing a worthless scam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun puzzle-platformer with a solid sense of humour. It has a lot of unique gameplay elements and does a lot with its core "death and revival" mechanic. Co-op worked fine over Steam Remote Play, though there was a little bit of (expected) lag, and it took us some time to figure out the controls for both keyboard and gamepad. The co-op felt like a mix of New Super Mario Bros. and Portal 2, with some split-up puzzle solving, and the ability to push and jump on each other and screw each other over…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YOU LIVE YOU DIE YOU LIVE AGAIN! Sometimes the solution to your problems is DEATH!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good death stuff minus some camera bugs. better enjoyed with infinite lifes because of bugs that sometimes take a while to debug but stick at it and you can move on. coop works well. mostly turn-based like in the single player
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually did enjoy playing this game. The puzzles were fun and the mechanics were good, and I really wish I could recommend it and give it a thumbs up, but I can't. I never actually finished the game. First play through I got to around 60% complete before my save game disappeared, and then second play through I almost finished it, last level (I think) before the game crashed and my save disappeared....... Needless to say I'm not going to try a third time. So, although it was fun,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played it solo only and I had a good time. It's a nice puzzle plat-former that reminds me a lot of of the game "Lost Vikings." Definitely a hidden gem that deserves a little more attention from gamers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun until it isn't. Cute idea, enjoyed it at first, but a game breaking bug ruins it. No Cave November has an unclear section where you steer fireballs to advance. Immediately after that there's a trigger to the right you need to light to advance. I tried steering a fireball just over the wall and by positioning the other player at the goal, you can hit the trigger with a redirected fireball. Cool, right? Nope, doesn't ignite. Alright, I'm running out of ideas, maybe I need to light…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Avoid this cancer. Game can't even be beat due to garbage camera getting bugged during last level. Repeated several times only to keep recurring. Fix your game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really fun game with some HUGE polish issues (which I'll go over at the end). REZ PLZ is a really well designed solo/local co-op Puzzle Platformer (somewhat similar to Battleblock Theater). You control 2 characters and many puzzles rely on sacrificing one of the characters to pass. There is always friendly fire, which leads to a lot of fun trolling your friend when playing. The game also definitely has a sense of humour to it. There are 30 levels in the Story Mode and an extra 5…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphics are a bit janky but it's alright. A fun little puzzle plataformer best played in co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, a very fun puzzle platformer. It has great puzzles (and puzzle mechanics), decent platforming and a good sense of humor. The graphics aren't great, but there are a lot of unique animations for different ways of dying. On the minus side, the controls leave a little to be desired, and there are some bugs (with impact up to and including needing to restart the level).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game if you're into speed running and have a 2nd player who is equally into it as you are! I wouldn't really recommend as a single player game although it is more than playable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far, I have enjoyed the game. What does bother me a lot is the fact that I lost all my progess to a random bug. I hope this will get fixed soon.
