Game is NOT finished, despite being "fully released". What a joke. Please, spend your money elsewhere.

This is full release? I would have hated to see what early access looked like with a game killing bug like the one in blacksmithing. Played for 4 hours and thought it was medium fun until I finally unlocked blacksmithing and you have a little bar with a green area and the objective is to stop your cursor on the green area as it moves back and forth. Well I can nail that cursor dead center of the green area and it fails 75% of the time. so if I am lucky enough to get 3 out of 4 successful…

Recommending a skip on this one. Lots of frustrating grind with no real reward. There's too much walking, walking is too slow, and walking directions don't align with paths so you have to constantly correct your direction. Edit:"World orientation" does align movement with paths, but it makes W,A,S,D move you diagonally, which is disorienting enough to be unusable for me. Ideally A+S together (for example) would move you down+left, not A alone. Many progression blocking recipes are completed…

This has a very fun early game that suffers from incredible balancing issues about 5 hours in that go nowhere. It is a shame because the game could have been great, but if you take a look at the update schedule, it was rushed out the door with only a couple early access updates that failed to improve any of the major problems and repetitiveness. Would be worth the price for around $5 but I would not recommend paying any more than that.

Boring and uninspired grind. You buy raw resources, craft stuff and sell it a always repeating cycle. The only thing which changes is if you get workers. Then they can do the crafting for you. The most disappointing thing is the boring sales part. People barge in, you deliver via click. That's it. I strongly suggest something like "Stardew Valley" or "Littlewood". This one is exceptionally boring.

Craft Lands Workshoppe is a delightful title that begins as many games in the genre do with the player initially selecting a trade, and working to produce and sell their selected goods. I enjoyed playing the demo offered during the Steam October event, and opted to purchase the game when it released on October 13th. It's a fun game, and I'd recommend it to others that enjoy titles like Travelers Rest, Little Big Workshop, and so forth. To summarize, I've put in a few pros/cons below: Pros:…

Frustrating camera controls and fixed angle due to game design, this is made worse by bad placement of obstructive scenery. I find this game to be far too much like work with a breathless fast pace and grind that never feels that rewarding. I don't recommend this.

You're here because shopkeeper games are surprisingly addicting, and Craftlands Workshoppe may have that level of addiction once it finishes development. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXiFO_s8XpE If you want to see my first impressions as they happened, watch my video above. You choose between three professions at the start: blacksmith, alchemist, or chef. As is the tradition in these games, I chose blacksmith. You'll be able to unlock the other two later, so it's just a question of how you…

I absolutely recommend this game without a doubt. If you are someone who enjoys management, automation, a little bit of math, and problem solving, THIS GAME IS FOR YOU. It is very simple and easy to comprehend. There are challenges at first, but it gets easier once you get going. It snowballs for sure. The endgame is mildly grindy but I expect that to be changed once the devs add more content. Please keep in mind that this game is in Early Access and there are small bugs here and there.…

This is an Early Access unfinished spiritual successor to the Shoppe Keep 1 + 2 games by the same developer. Where Shoppe Keep was effectively a grind/clicker first person game, this is more like a low poly mobile-esque ripoff of Stardew Valley. A lot of the features that had some interest in the Shoppe Keep games have been abandoned. Instead of the PC appropriate first person view, this game has a clumsy 3D top down view, and the controls are sloppily put together for it, so moving around…

Terrible game balance. I have no idea how come this game is getting all these positive reviews. The prices of these goods don't make any sense at all. For example, nails cost 1 iron ore and sell for 10 copper coins. I had to do a mission to trade in 50 nails to get an iron plate blueprint, and then when I got it, I looked to see what the cost of producing it - 4 iron ores and the selling price of it? 10 copper coins lol. Why make these when you can just make nails. This is just 1 of many…

Really enjoying this game. It's a bit of a grind early on, but once you get established and some workers going it gets better. I am still only about 4 hours into my game, so still lots to unlock and figure out. With that said for $15, this game is well worth it. I wish I could recommend the game, but in its current form is really hard to play. It is a mixture of Shoppe keep 2 and a resource management game. And as of right now this mix doesn't work for me. I believe this game has potential, but it hasn't condensed down to it. The tutorial is a mix-match of too much information and not enough actual advice. The amount of running back and forth in the beginning of the game is astonishing. The game isn't finished yet, a small example: the inventory…

As someone who enjoys crafting games, especially the fantastic Gust Atelier games (I.E. Atelier Rorona/Ayesha/Ryza...), and games in the vein of Harvest Moon, this game is... well, it shows promise. It's more directly focused upon the management/business aspects of the game, in that it has literally no other elements to distract you from the management parts. Those of you that hate mini-games in your crafting will also probably like this one, since the actions required generally amount to…

I wish I could stand to play this game, it's everything I love in a game. Unfortunately between the movement controls not running straight and the mouse cursor being too slow, I can't stand to play it. Craftlands Workshoppe is a nice little game. I just completed the storyline and didn't run into any bigger bugs. It might not be for anyone, but at least I enjoyed playing it. I'm not gonna do a pros/cons list since the one from Phraox already says everything I also think about the game. If you are unsure about it grab it on a sale.

First Impressions - It's fun but rough around the edges. Craftlands Workshoppe dabbles in a bit of everything from gathering, crafting, consumables, trade, management, a semi-automated worker system, etc. There are a fair number of systems and game mechanics but, many feel hollow or half-finished at this stage in development. With that said, the current state of the game does show promise. -Gripes- Not a whole lot is explained well and pacing really needs work to make progression flow better.…

Yes the movement can be daunting, but you get used to it really quick as its not that big of a deal, hold two buttons. As for the reward system, its phenomenal. The game is quite fun! Interesting concept, the gameplay is still a bit buggy, but you get used to it (and it's still early, I'm sure the devs will fix some things). My laptop runs it well, although it gets heat up quite fast, but I have an old laptop anyways. You have a shop, and step by step you start acquiring new recipes to sell, and with the money you can expand into a basement where workers will create items for you, and you'll unlock a long distance market to sell your wares, all while…

Early access review. This game DEFINITELY has potential - I love the atmosphere, the banter between characters, the crafting mechanics, the possibilities in different branches of crafting, the idea of automation - all wonderful things I love in this game. However, it feels monotonous and grindy, as if the game could use a bit of balancing, especially early-game. What I mean by that is, your first 1-2 in-game weeks will look the same: harvest iron, build things, sell things, sleep, repeat.…

Tried to like it, just felt kinda boring. I tried working up to hiring a guy as it was telling me that's my quest, I try to have him start crafting, 1 days crafting can't even pay for 1 days fees for hiring him and he was the cheapest upkeep I saw. The selling was fairly uninteresting, just slap up an item, close the shop when you sell out of an item and repeat. No haggling, no price controls, nothing.

To put it simply, I'd say Craftlands Workshoppe is a "grind simulator" but it's the fun kind. The gameplay is very straightforward and fairly easy to get into though if you aim to maximize your profits in every sale you make, then it might take some upselling and calculations :) Energy management is also an important part of the game since you'll need it to do quite a lot of stuff around the place, whether inside your workshoppe or outside. However, as long as you managed to get to bed before…

I have played the early access of Craftlands Workshoppe, this game has a long way to go, but I think the game makers understand this, and it does seem that they are listening to input from players. There is potential here, you find yourself as the new owner of a "dilapidated workshoppe" and your job is to build it up and make it successful, you will need to unlock blue prints, learn recipes, collect resources, and craft everything you need. You will buy and sell and hopefully eventually you…
