The meta upgrades are lacking in my opinion 2, If you upload your game to Steam; be active on Steam and not discord! Really hate the trend of discord Discord layout sux bad if you want to find info on something for the game, You are faced with tons of random comments in a list format and screw finding what you need there. Instead you have to hope the devs have pinned some good info in one of the threads (yeah you first…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Somehow the game is so convoluted with mechanics that it stops being fun.. You have energy, weapon triggers, some activators, some robot helpers, some of them give energy, some drain energy, some things are happening only after other things happening.. The dash drains energy, but with perk it gives energy. The shield recharge takes energy (but it doesn't say how much or at what rate). There is a minimap, but no pointers to POI. I feel like there is a test in the end, and I don't want it..…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has some unique aspects compared to other VS like, but the lack of communication from the Dev, combined with not a single update for 2 months since the EA launch simply blows all the positive things away.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →steam cloud save is nonfunctional, developer doesn't engage in the discussions on the steam forums, instead pointing to a discord link in one comment under a post about lack of communication, the discord link is broken. i use the link from the store page, the discord is less active than the steam forums. it's a fun game and an interesting survivorlike, the full 3d presentation and destructible environments are cool, having a dash and managing energy and having to chose between powering…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandonware. Sucks as it definitely had potential. As it stands, you can get hard-locked during a run if you use a reroll, leaving you unable to choose an upgrade or leave the upgrade screen, forcing an alt-F4 and losing any rewards. There's very little information on what the drops are/do, but you can figure most of it out by context (except for the anti-matter drops, aside from certain upgrades, not sure what they do). The different characters are fine, they seem like they all lean towards…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →no updates since 6 months. abandoned game, dont buy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy mess of a game. Lost quite a few runs because I leveled up and was unable to select a powerup because the game refused to let me click on any of the options. Edit: It seems like this bug is game breaking as I just found it happens every time you have only 1 option left to select. This is not early access. This is not even a completed game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm torn. It has potential, and on sale it's really very cheap, which would leave me inclined to tentatively give this a just-about-recommended... But it's been 7 months since release with no updates, and they are sorely needed. It *very much* feels like an early access game. The basic systems are functional, and it's quite fun, but also lacking polish and balance, and crying out for some more variety. The visuals are problematic. Strategic movement is fairly fundamental in a survivors-like…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought the game. Content is fine but feels lacking. And realized dev hasn't touched it in months or any updates. And by the time I realized this, played too many hours. Tried to get a refund. And was going to put it on the wishlist. In case we get an update at some point. Game is fun. Like the idea of a mech "death must die". But right now content just isn't there. So do not buy for now. Just wishlist it and hope for an update.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing this may become my new favorite survivor like/ bullet heaven game. I really love the art style and the scifi futuristic vibes it brings. The music is great and super chill. Its awesome that there are destructible buildings. It would be cool if you could eat people out of the windows of the buildings like in the old Rampage games or save them instead of eating and get power-ups. I also think the enemy lasers should be red to distinguish more between my lasers and abilities. But…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a promising still-in-early-access survivors-like that honestly shows some promise but I feel like it has some real major flaws that I hope to see remedied. General premise is that you're fighting endless increasingly growing in power waves, this time alien bugs, and as a mech pilot. You level up unlocking new upgrades of different types, with each unlockable character providing a different number of these slots apart from stat bonuses and different main type of attack. A lot of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Aeternum studio decided to try themselves in a new genre and for good reason. Now it's my second favorite game from this developer, along with Summum
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've tried a few games from this Aeternum studio already, and I can say they make some really good stuff! I really like the style and graphics, my favorite colors :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game progression is utterly atrocious. I want to like this game as I really enjoy roguelike and mecha.. but there's so many weird design choices. I can ignore everything else but these two are the biggest issues when I play the game. Why is the game trying so hard not to be fun? There's a limit to everything very EARLY ON, on upgrades that barely do anything. The in-game achievement/unlock system is beyond abominable, with things being divided per character, it's needlessly tedious and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controls feel super sluggish. Really hard to differentiate between an enemy and anything else. UI is pretty poorly laid out and tutorialized. There are far better survivor-likes to spend your time on, pass on this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At current state of game: Its boring and repeative, no progression. Its a grindfeast with no progression feeling. You unlock new mechs but they are even worse than the first one. Cant recomend this game. There are better games out there. GFX is ok, SFx is ok but gameplay is no fun. Support for UltraWide Screen: NO | Max res: 2560x1440 This can change in furhter updates but for now ITS NOT RECOMENDED!..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has potential, but it seems to have been abandoned by developers. This causes a frustrating wall that players cannot get past. There are only 4 characters and only 1 world. It's also incredibly frustrating that nothing is explained, you are just thrown into gameplay with some notion of controls. Eventually I worked out some of what you needed to do but ended up giving up. This could have been a good game, but I can't recommend it in its current state.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can not recommend the game. 2 Hours and I can't really say I had fun in any of it. The meta progression/upgrade system is just tedious, it's slow and even restricted so you can not create anything unique or even unlock everything to use. The biggest annoyance is after 15 minutes on a stage. Wannabe banelings start spawning (Acid explosions) that do more damage than any boss attack in the game that I encounted. They have an unecessarily large radius, hard to see the area markers and little…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Realized halfway through writing this that this farce isn't worth the wordcount I was about to give it. Here's the bullet points: Nothing is properly tutorialized because of bad UI choices, so learning the mechanics sucks. You have little to no control over your character, so runs get boring fast. This is the Dev's third game in two years, with a fourth on its way, so the likelihood of major reworks in patches is low. Petty, but the Dev Twitter is just the lead posting a bunch…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent Bullet Heaven title with some more advanced mechanics, such as balancing energy consumption of your attacks versus shield regeneration, and some excellent elemental damage effects. I'm especially fond of the stacking "Reaper" bonuses you get from using Viral weapons. The flavor of this title is a mecha-versus-giant aliens setup, and each characters mech has a different basic attack and can mount different amounts of additional weapons. There is a pretty severe disparity in at least…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like Vampire Survivors. I like mechs. This game has pretty good graphics for what it is. I like this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →another great game from this developer. Works great on oled so far!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, you run and fight off all enemies, the main thing is to survive ))) Very interesting and exciting ))
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring. Generic. Confusing. This feels like if ChatGPT were to have designed a Sci-Fi Bullet Heaven game. There's no soul to it. Base level mechs and skills feel slow and sluggish, even at later levels after upgrading. Upgrades (both in game and meta) are boring stat padding things like 3% crit or 10% movement speed. Augment your weapon with Fire or Ice (it doesn't matter you won't be able to tell) You're not given any explanations or reasoning for what is happening. There are purple…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mecha Mega Vampire Soulstone Survivors for $0.99?? highly recommend Love the aesthetics of this game, once you start building up your character it’s really opens up, a bit of a learning curve on systems, but once it clicks, you’ll love it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#19: Eden Survivors from Aeternum Game Studios S.L The name is Genesis Survivors on Steam. Don't search for Eden Survivors. Trust me. This is an entertaining twin-stick, survivor-like shooter. Nothing more, nothing less, but also not finished which is surprising based on the dev's other games.
unlabelledView post →I love Vampire Survivor-likes. I find them fun and just a casual thing to play while watching videos or just chilling out and killing time. Of the many many many I've played this one is honestly the most frustrating. It needs a lot more work to make it more fun and interesting because right now it's just a struggle to play. The main issues come down to this: 1. For some unknown reason, there is a cap on upgrades. I get they want you to make choices like a talent tree but this is not the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: Just want a gameplay video? It is below the review. My thoughts and suggestions are also at the bottom. The top section is to describe the game. What type of game is this? This is a Bullet Heaven style game where you are the biggest baddest threat there is. It starts off similar to other Bullet Heaven games where you have a single attack and gain upgrades through an in game experience system and pick randomly generated card selections. It does have meta progression. The enemies get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting action roguelike where you must defeat hordes of alien invaders until the extraction time. Few types pilots with unique play-style, a lot of skills and several types enemies.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: The destructive environment is cool. Cons: The cool down system killed the enjoyment for me. With no option to turn it off, I absolutely despised it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game I really do but, the retarded enemies that exploded more so the bigger variants are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb get through 15 mins constantly on the higher tier raids but uh oh the game is spamming tons of giant exploding enemies guess you better hope you get lucky and dont get a group together or you die! this enemy needs to be nerfed its just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid to constantly lose runs because of this im done with this game until this is changed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EARLY ACCESS - very good idea, UI partially defective (selection of skills sometimes doesn't want to), blanc! therefore all combos work. Overview with overlapping effects works better, but the top dogs don't do much better either. pro: different ressources including energy during the battle different categories (sideweapon, triggers, storms) cons: too few informations and overview
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Playable and survivor-style? Ya. This EA certainly feels unfinished, and while that is fine, the lack of any updates since release is not. I think this has been abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →during gameplay my sticks work fine, soon as i go to any submenu to select anything (including upgrades) the selection consistently goes up + left as if I am holding the stick down. I can stand perfectly still during gameplay, sticks work fine. was really looking forward to this game, has a great feel to it. but this makes the game unplayable, I cannot read ANYTHING. I have tried checking my settings, maxed out dead zones, nothing works. I have to assume its the game. =( If anyone has any…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game with good mechs. Love the aesthetics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game, a cyberpunk-style roguelike game where you have to fight off mechanized robots
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can relax well, playing this autoshooter. The concept is interesting, I would be lying if I said that ever met autoshooters in the genre of mechanics.Graphics I did not like much, but in general it is davolno dastoynaya.I would also like to note the gameplay, despite the fact that this is an autoshooter, and kind of just need to sit and relax Eden Survivors is very exciting
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Genesis Survivors from Aeternum Game Studios S.L steps into the crowded survivor-like space with a clear intention: take the familiar auto-shooter formula and inject it with a heavier sci-fi identity and a bit more mechanical nuance. Set against a futuristic backdrop where pilots control combat-ready mechs to fend off alien swarms, the game blends the genre’s signature chaos with a slightly more structured approach to builds and battlefield interaction. It doesn’t radically redefine the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i enjoyed going for the achievements :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it from a bundle and honestly in it's current state it's not worth playing. There is no ingame tutorial so you don't know what some stuff do (Antimatter i got no clue on) There is nothing ingame that says what you are supposed to do and minimap is awful as it is so small, you need to just go in a random direction and hope something of value can be found, would be good if an upgrade pointed to the next big egg location/challenge spire etc. Upgrades are tied to character so all 4 you start…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty looking and playable Survivor type of game with some customization and lots of dashing/dodging. The upgrades are fun and challenge is fitting. The game is still in early access mode and some key features are still missing such as: 2nd map, story line, and basic tutorial which explains the game play in more detail. Some of balancing is also needed, some of the weapons are way better than others. Despite this I found myself keep going back to this game, which is a good sign.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/AVBBqoh40pU Even with the bones of a survivors style game there is nothing fleshing out the world or systems to make it standout in a meaningful way.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: *Good basic gameplay you'd expect from a "survivors" game *Cool aesthetic Cons: *A few performance issues when many enemies/attacks on-screen at the same time *Having to buy the basic upgrades for each individual character is annoying and feels like the devs trying to pad out what would be a much shorter game otherwise
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Neat game but runs choppy and has no updates. No responses in dev discord or steam forums for a while. Gameplay wise its just 4 characters and one map. Persistent upgrades are capped VERY low so you'll end up maxing one or two trees out of 4 while having tons of currency with nothing to spend it on. could be better if it gets updated
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wait till they update this game and add some new content. Playing it feels like a chore and waiting 20 minutes to complete a level sucks, and they need to change that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is fun but seems very hardware demanding for a roguelike with constant massive frame drops. Hopefully this gets optimised in the future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have no idea what's happening and things keep exploding, please send help.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Genesis Survivors is a fairly enjoyable bullet heaven/survivors game set in a futuristic world where aliens have invaded the earth and you've taken to defend the earth piloting mechas. Each pilot/mecha feels and plays different, each having different advantages, unique weapons as well as builds available through meta-progression. You're bound to get more than a few hours of fun out of this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a simple & fun game if you're into roguelite themed games. Hopefully they can add more variety of mobs, events and perhaps music as time passes. ===== edit 1/21/2025 My only critique with this game was the buggy interface when selecting skill/bonus when leveling up. At times I will not be able to choose to reroll a skill, delete or select. Which can be annoying when it comes with game play and I had to work away around it. Also in the same token, when maxing out your generator bonuses,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First Impression Review: Eden Survivors Initial Gameplay The game drops you straight into the action, no hand-holding here! You start as a mech pilot named Leah, who pilots a Predator-class model mech suit with a focus on offense. The mechanics have an old-school PlayStation One vibe mixed with modern roguelite gameplay. It’s isometric and leans heavily on strategy, especially with energy management. Your mech has an energy system: - Shield: Protects your health but burns through energy.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really great start. God I hope they keep supporting it because it's nice having a mech RBH
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An excellent and challenging bagel. I liked everything about it, I loved it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some of the game's mechanics don't look ready or adapted (the developers have a lot to work on) But overall it looks like a classic auto-shooter.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game, without exaggeration, is the best in its genre. Terribly captivating. I'm glad that the developers are constantly releasing big updates, I hope that someday they will add a cooperative mode.
