If anyone has a problem with units not building, go to game folder and increase unit cap in 'options'. I had this obscure RTS on Playstation one, I specifically remember inviting my friends over because it had a split-screen PvP which was very unusual for the genre (probably the first time I played RTS in multiplayer), but…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Am I crazy for wanting a remaster of this one? Or even a remake?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RTS Rebirth Good old RTS days. I'm very glad that recently it has been very favourable for these awesome RTS games which are thanks to steam and of course dedicated devs brought back alive and also brought to us - RTS hungry customers - because admit it today it is damn hard to find a good RTS game. KKND2 is playable on windows 10, the game (except for menu) is in full HD, music is still awesome and it is as amazing as it has ever been. There is nothing that stops you from playing it, so go…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is filled with bugs no pun intended, getting myself a refund not good enough I requested a refund which was denied by steam they said there is supposedly nothing wrong with my game. I would strongly advise you to get the game from GOG instead like I had to, their version works better and doesnt get the dreaded mission failed bug after 30 mins of gameplay If there is nothing wrong with my game then why does my GOG version work without problems? Fix your games and test them to make…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember playing this game as a kid with a friend, late into the night such good memories
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get me wrong, it is a great nostalgic game. However 0 patches or fixes are done to this and being pushed out into steam. You get random bugs where you can't build more units or structures and get soft lock after 2-5mins in game. You get random mission fails that loop back to an infinite loop of mission fails. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try this even if it was for nostalgia...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is great, but there are game breaking bugs out there, which have no solution to fix yet.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can´t wait for the new Major Update <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →when this game worked on window 98 it was AWESOME it competed with starcraft brood war in my mind body and soul EXCEPT THIS VERSION DOESN'T EVEN PLAY screen tearing, bad resolution, broken cut scenes, jittery scroll movement and units move like they are having a seizure >.> literally unplayable garbage and selling a game like this on steam should be illegal
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bugs: 1- Cannot create more units - bug 2. Game crashes after loading lvl 3. Game crashes after loading save 4. In game randomly failing mission 5. Some bugs in game, unit stuck outside screen - cannot complete mission lots of bugs generaly

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Old but gold has its issues but overall my childhood was made with this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game, old school RTS game. I Excellent old school RTS game. KKND 2 is still absolute classic, Great gameplay, memorable units and that old-school RTS feeling that many modern games simply can't replicate. Almost 30 years later and I'm still playing it. That says everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →KKND 2 Krossfire is not simply a Command and Conquer - Clone. And it is really not like KKND XTreme at all. It has is own charme and most important: VERY unique gameplay-features that make it very special. For example the possibilities to build a fortress with the save cliffs, electro-fences and so on. Over about 20 years we played it coop against improved AI by our "unfair"-mods and with maps, partially built by ourselves over a simulated LAN-connection, hamachi at first, then RadminVPN.…

I remember watching my brother play it as a kid. Day 2 – Started with the Survivors faction — the only CD we had back then. I still remembered most missions even after 20+ years. Day 3 – The crashes can happens all the time. Random mission fails. "Cannot create more units." Total chaos — and not the fun kind. Day 4 – Learned to save obsessively.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My favorite RTS of all time! I Played it for several hundred hours on the PS1, together and against my big brother. The PC port was always a bit bugged and held down by it's 4:3 aspect ratio. But thanks to mods so far, (Playing on which does not track game time) and now in June finally, thanks to a HUGE update, it will be possible again to experience the game how it was meant to be played! Love to see it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Old school RTS from PS1 era , back end of 90's that not a lot of people know about . The Game intro is still one of my all time favourite intros , good old CGI and the idea in it getting you hooked . It's a pretty difficult game to complete , units getting destroyed very easily so you have to do your absolute best to mix and match your forces and fight your opponent with troops that are the strongest vs their troops , otherwise you;ll be wasting your entire armies and resources will run out…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the great games of my childhood. Love it. Wish they'd remaster it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The program closes by itself every time the next level is started.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good gameplay.. please remastered
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a hidden gem back in the day .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ah yes, after decades of waiting I can finally have it in my Steam library. This game really brings back a lot of memories when I play it on PS1 version.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is good, import for newer systems is crap Edit: after multiplaye patch the pathfinding is not working, your units sit and wait that the first one is killed and move the next one in line even if you not send them to attack a spezific target
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I guess it needed DirectPlay to work. I have many games on Steam, modern and old and never had this issue before. I requested a refund, as I can not even get the game to start. I loved this game back in the day on the PS1. I was hoping it would work here, even if it did have some issues per other reviews. I recommend it if you can get it to work, without too much trouble and maybe on a decent sale. This was just more hassle than it was worth on my end.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played for couple of hours, getting errors all the time and not able to create units. Crashes in between maps, missions as well. Please don't sell games if they are not working - this is basically stealing from steam users.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1.Go to the game folder. 2. Open the options. 3. Changing maximum unit to 1000. Enjoy the game !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →KKND2: Krossfire is, without exaggeration, one of the most underrated real-time strategy games ever made. The setting, factions, and atmosphere are incredibly unique. Unlike many RTS games that feel generic over time, KKND2 has real personality — brutal post-apocalyptic vibes, fantastic unit design, and a surprisingly deep tech progression. The gameplay is challenging, rewarding, and doesn’t hold your hand. It’s honestly shocking how little attention this game received compared to other…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Besides StarCraft II and w40k: Dawn of War is K.K.N.D still my FAVOURITE Strategy game of all time. The booklet in KKND (1) was written very funny and K.K.N.D 2 had so much good Intentions with it's integrated ingame editor. If you like retro games and especially strategy games - this one is a MUST HAVE. I still hope there will bea K.K.N.D 3 one day... :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo as a child and I used to love it. The game is difficult as f and it's only playable with kwid mod for higher resolutions ( highly recommended, it fixes the "no more units" and mission failed" bugs. If your game starts to crash after a certain amound of hours, just use steam to regain missing files and play with the mod again) . It has many flaws but I still loved the experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Эта игра не нуждается в представлении. Шедевр золотой эпохи RTS. Сама возможность редактировать характеристики юнитов и зданий даёт возможность переделать баланс игры полностью так как хочется. This game needs no introduction. A masterpiece from the golden era of RTS. The very ability to edit the characteristics of units and buildings makes it possible to remake the balance of the game completely as you want.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutelly not recommended. You can play the game up to a point, where it decides you can no longer build units or do anything, and that's it. The fixes online of changing the unit limit won't work. Too bad, because it'd be a wonderful game otherwise.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wisdom prayers begin.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"even in 4k!" ♥♥♥♥ so small i need a second monocle. Same mistake like with every other retro game. You can even upscale it to 8k, does nothing if text, icons and the whole freaking game just turn into ants. Cant see anything. Sadly have to refund it since i just can play the gog version i allready have instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is simply one of the best and most fun Strategy games ever made...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game crushes random at random missions, you get to save every a few minutes and after that it isnt even guaranteed that save is gonna save you because that crush maybe not be fixed so you just stuck. killing the joy such a shame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesnt let me join any friends or friends to join me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →back in the day when i was around 8 yrs old my brother came home with this game for the PS1 and we had so many deathmatch battles against each other with the split screen and knock off controller hehe :) brings back so many fond memories of my brother and i and it warms my heart to see this game on steam. 11/10 i do recommend this game to anyone who shared memories similar to mine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For me this is the absolute classic right next to C&C, Dark Colony and Dune 2000. Im so glad this older classics finding their way on Steam ! Works fine on my win10 only the Steam overlay is not working so you can't make screenshots :/
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That's my childhood right there! This is a great buy for anyone who loves good ol' RTS games with base building. Gameplay is fun, mission briefings and tips even funnier soundtrack is really awesome and out there and so are the units. Only thing to look out for are few bugs, all can be solved by looking through the discussions here on steam. Honestly just buy the damn thing it's like 5 Euros. You can thank me later, this game is a gem!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ah man!! blast from the past!! Still holds up even now. i'd love a remaster of this, but please keep EA'S filthy hands off it. so many hours sunk in to this game when i first discovered it in my youth and now i get to soak even more hours in to it as a fat old man. how the time flies!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the greatest classic games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first I thought it has no Skirmish since I cannot find it that's why I'm disappointed. Luckily, The devs replied on my Review and told me how to access Skirmish. So I am now editing my review from Negative to Positive. Thanks devs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved KKND2 back in the days. But this version is so full of bugs, it's unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →buggy as hell removed shortly after trying it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →played this on my first computer as my first PC game back in 1997. took my whole evening to figure out how to move my unit and another 1 month to figure out how to upgrade my factory, then quickly became a turret head. that's the best 7 years old me could do. miss the good old days
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast paced classic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like Command And Conquer set in post apocalyptic wasteland
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is broken and does not work
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgia overload
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definetly one of my favorite games, many many hours of good times with thisone
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Technically, this is the third game in the series as the original KKND was a Dos title. KKND Xtreme was the Direct X conversion of the game, but released some new content and features not found in the original game. It is good to see this game back out with some spit and polish. KKND2 was the first legacy game I was able to get working in Windows 10. As with most older Direct X games, I had to write a custom *.bat file that would exit Windows Explorer while the game was running to prevent…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Updated review after the big update: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Have not encountered any bugs since the big update to KKND Xtreme and KKND Krossfire. ----------------------------------- So I used to play this all the time when I was younger! The bugs that used to be there (random crashes, unit maximizer etc.) are still there unfortunately, so save often :-). If you don't know this game yet, I wouldn't bother with it, but if you're here for nostalgia's sake, go for it! Absolutely worth the 5 bucks.…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire is a real-time strategy game developed by Beam Software and published by Ziggurat on Steam. Originally released during the golden era of strategy gaming, it builds upon the foundations of its predecessor while introducing new factions, expanded mechanics, and a larger-scale vision of post-apocalyptic warfare. Set in a devastated future shaped by nuclear catastrophe, the game presents a world where surviving humans, mutated descendants, and self-aware machines…
