I really like the idea of an immersive city builder like this. However, I think this game's execution of the concept is lacking at best. Maybe with significant overhauls and improvements the game can be something good, but as it currently stands the game has a lot of issues that make it very hard to enjoy it. The actual city elements seem very basic, and many buildings don't seem to do anything of real value. There's absolutely none of the mechanics you'd expect in other city builders such as…

It's very basic. No in depth power or sewer management., non existent physics, bland playmobile looking NPCs that just stand around... Really not much to do here rather than spend some time designing buildings. If that's what you wanted to do, there are many other games that provide a better experience. The lack of machinery blocks (like kitchens, forges, vending machines, etc) force you to play make believe while you try to build something that looks like what you want but has none of the…

This is the best city building game I have ever ran across in all my 35+ years of gaming. The took the idea of City Builders and made it the best - YOU BUILD THE CITY!! From the ground up, literally! You take on various jobs, if you like to build put away all your other games, and spend the next year here! I cancelled my Minecraft server subscription cause I just dont see me going back. This is way more fun!! Best game so far for me!!

I used to play Sim City and Cities Skylines, but those games are stressful, because I was always under pressure to provide all the things that cities need, which is overwhelming. In Technicity I feel freedom, no stress, just fun. I can do whatever I want. I can build a beach with nice sand, a restaurant there and I can jump in the water. I can fly up a mountain in a helicopter and build a mountain cabin, or make tunnels. Technicity is here when I need to escape and relax in a virtual world…

This is a review of the ‘Technicity’ computer game. The review is divided into several sections for easiness of reading. 1. Basic information. The game ‘Technicity’ was created by the ‘Osaris Games’ studio (website: http://www.osaris.net/). Game was published by RockGame S.A., (website: https://rockgame.pl/). The game was released on Steam on day 15 of month September, year 2022. According to the SteamDB website, the game received 118 patches in the year 2022, 4 patches in 2023 and 1…

Great idea, Awful quality. I tried this game before and didn't like it because of the exact same reason, So thought I'd give the devs some time maybe they'll fix things up. About a year later and it's still the same thing. Many things just don't work, as an example I tried to put an elevator above another and it kept disappearing (and taking my money with it !). The game is very unoptimized, My laptop's cooling system screams when this game is running (why can't I just disable anti-aliasing ?)…

Cool idea, needs a lot of polish. Assets seem to be from some 3rd party source, as there is no art direction or general themeing, and the assets all vary in quality. That said the devs have actually done some work on their own too. If this was an early access game I would probably recommend it, but this does not seem like a completed game to me

For the price, and the use of the "city builder" tag, there's not really much here. It's creative mode early version minecraft with some themeing and convenience tools. It's not a city building game except in a very technical sense that you can build a city if you like. For what it is, it's also not very good. The tutorial skips over lots of things you have to figure out for yourself or look for in the controls, and ends abruptly. The tools don't work how you'd intuitively understand them to,…

There's a foundation for an interesting concept of a game here, but as it stands, I just didn't really enjoy it honestly. Everything just feels kinda clunky? It's hard to explain unless you have played the game itself. You can download the Prologue version (demo) of this game for free and try it out that way to see how you feel about it. Hopefully in the future I may pick this back up when it's been fleshed out more.

If you like to build in minecraft creative mode, this game is for you. Otherwise, it isn't. Essentially the same thing, but more tailored to make it easier to build urban environments with some tools to help reduce some of the tedious parts of building stuff, while providing players the ability to make their own items into the game. The game also gives you the ability to share items and buildings you've made in steam workshop. Compared to the size of the playerbase, there's a lot of stuff…

Will update - but I am a junkie for both minecraft-esque builders, as well as city builders - so this is the best of both worlds initially. Initially - building is satisfying with a large variety of possibilities - and the custom-item factory works exceedingly well. I either try a game for a short time and never get hooked and shelve it (dear god, look at the amount of products in my account) - or it ticks my boxes, I get really hooked, and it becomes one of the few I actually build within…

While this is a city building game, it is a mistake to compare it to Sim City, because the interactions are mostly building, and production. There are some vehicle missions like Taxi Work which is reminiscent of Sim City 4, but instead of being played from a Top-down Prespective, this one is played in "1st/3rd Person" meaning it's an individual player doing the construction (or their drone if they use it to get certain part of buildings). I would more compare it to Minecraft with a modern…

As a big fan of city-building, this is the game of my dreams. It has lots of potential and many more novel features can be added. I just don't understand why STEAM doesn't recommend this game to more city-building enthusiast but instead only recommend those popular games that already have so much advertising. I only found this game when I was manually searching for city-building games. This game NEEDS to be highly recommended to more players!

A voxel building sandbox with some simple (but powerful) tools thrown in to speed up the process and add detail. The setting is a single huge island with a modest variety of climates and terrains to build in. There's some original features and new ones are being developed; boats and elevators were just added. If you're creative, you'll love obsessing over the small details of your city. If you're in a hurry, there are included structures and workshop buildings ready-built for you to place…

This is a great building sandbox game. The ability to change the shape of blocks makes for more detailed builds than is possible in purely voxel based games. The factory allows you to build pretty much anything you want and scale it down to be used as furniture, decorations, building blocks, whatever you want. The possibilities are pretty endless. It's an excellent creative outlet. The Steam Workshop is integrated beautifully, allowing you to upload items, buildings, and worlds directly from…

The bizarre marriage of Sim City and Minecraft that no one realized that they needed. The building tools have a bit of a learning curve, the citizens are dumb as a box of rocks, and the UI could use some polish, but there is a huge sandbox to create an interesting cityscape here. There is no real goal, you just build. Your mileage for the game will depend heavily on your desire to build and customize buildings. If you don't like building random stuff just to build random stuff, this might…

This game has so much potential and I really hope that with future updates I can come back and change this review. The biggest issue is with UI and Controls, and really it makes the game unplayable. It is insanely frustrating trying to get a block to position how you want and having it flicker between 6 different positions with the slightest movement of your mouse or the drone's innate bobbing. I have tried every DPI and control setup I can think of and nothing makes this better. If you are…

TL;DR - 8 hours wasted. Zero satisfying feelings had. Removed from library. I know there are some people who are fans of block style construction games and graphics, I am not one of those people. I don't mind building things "Lego" style, it's just not what I enjoy doing. It wasn't actually bad using the available "blocks" to create building offices, condos, houses, stores, etc... I had no issue with that aspect, but the "blocky" terrain is another story. Because everything is block style,…

Technicity approaches the city-building genre from an unconventional angle, placing the player directly inside a vast open world instead of observing it from above. The experience begins not with spreadsheets or zoning tools, but with the tactile act of shaping land, driving construction vehicles, and assembling buildings piece by piece. Osaris Games builds the foundation around creative freedom: you are encouraged to sculpt terrain, design your own modular construction blocks, craft custom…

It's fun because you can make a city any way you want. And if there isn't items you need or want, you can do a search from items others have made and are sharing. I'd like to be able to change colors of things but overall this is an engaging game with lots of opportunities. I'd also like to be able to delete large amounts of items at one time, which there may be, I don't know but it is a great game.

Nice looking and enjoyable game; but it feels like an Early access game and not a full version?! It has a lot of bugs, especially with Co-op, lots of kicks and crashes. The T junctions on the map aren't right, for some reason they are cross roads with dead-ends that causes a lot of traffic-jams. As with Pathea's Planet Explorers, Technicity had one interesting idea in an empty void of monotony. You can make furniture (objects) using essentially a large voxel build area. You can then combine things together to make something else, like a custom door or window. Structures are made to help citizens and city growth, but it's absolutely not SimCity or Skylines, or even Minecraft. You can make stuff but that's all there is to do. There are vehicles to unlock but they all drive the same,…

The game amazes me very much, and I realize that I am unable to fully fill the map up with buildings. I once played multiplayer mode with my friend, and instead of doing constructions, we just drove cars all around the map, and excavated mountains. These were all with a lot of fun.
