That said, I believe that this game can be a fun and engaging RPG experience for all fans of the Genre. Konung 3: Ties of the Dynasty doesn't stray far from its predecessor in overall game execution. It is an RPG that requires the player to do a bit of thinking for themselves, as your path is not clearly laid out for you, and there isn't a flashing marker on your map showing you where…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont recommend games with unnecessarily laborous and unfulfilling grinding. Not saying the game is all bad, it isn't, but comparing to similiar titles this part is made half-assedly. It IS deceptively good, but also deceptively bad. Lots of running around and moving the camera around for trivial stuff, the mess that is potion-use when you have allies, and deceptively bad game design like advertising a portal mechanism in the beginning but you go through 15 different stages (towns & roads)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game that has some flaws, but is fun to play. There are text bugs, and even some typos in the game that are present, but nothing in it breaks the game. Anyways, here are my pros and cons: PROS: `RPG mechanics similiar to baldur's gates, but lower budget. `questing `owning towns (not like in konung 2 though) `recruitable heroes `lots of quests `Lots of skills you can pick to specialize your main character `Ending bug solved! Look here:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant Game series.. too bad we never got 2.5 in english or Konung 4 to be produced.. We need more games like this.. one "hero", village management and building, dwellers management "like send them for jobs like woodcutter or hunter or recruit" and troops management.. war declarations on other villages... just a bigger game actually... But strongly advise all of the series for who hasnt played it yet!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so bad I wonder how it can have 81% positive rating, must be due to Russian fanboys. I own all 3 games (Konung 1, 2 on gog) and Konung 3 on steam. Out of these 3 games I'd say Konung 3 is even worse than 1st and 2d. It is still boring walking/talking sim for the most part of the game, somehow improved interface but 3D implementation and camera angles just not acceptable. I rated Konung 1+2 as 2 out of 5 on gog, now for Konung 3 I'd say 1 out of 5. It is hard to find worse RPG game…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is made for 4:3 aspect displays and there are no options for widescreen resolution, nor can you run it in windowed mode. The game looks interesting but I just couldn't get past the badly stretched graphics. This probably shouldn't be on Steam in its current state.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good but needs to be updated. lacks graphics settings and info on what to do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Neat settlement management RPG. Great sequel that improves on just about everything from the previous game, even the story is a bit better than last time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“When things are at their blackest, I say to myself, 'Cheer up, things could be worse.' And sure enough, they get worse.” ~Robert Lynn Asprin Konung III is a really sad thing to see. Really, really sad thing. See, the first Konung marked the highest point of Russian gamedev. Not only it proved that Russia can produce some really competitive products, by introducing some unique features it also gave us all a lot of hope for the future. Because with their fresh take on old genres? Russians had…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is no Diablo 3, although it looked like an interesting game, there's no support for widescreen monitors. Considering the game was released in 2010 on Steam, and Wikipedia has widescreen gaming as the standard in 2008, this is extremely disappointing. Otherwise it looked like an interesting ARPG. It's a shame it hasn't kept up with the times.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Story is good and entertainng but game definately doesn't hold your hand (maybe too much at some times), there is diary but it usually holds only what your objective is and not how you do it. You will find youself wondering what to do many times and you will really have to think and pay attention to dialog if you want to know what is going on and wat you have to do. There are some translaton errors but nothing game breaking. There is not much comunity in English for this game so it can be hard…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is impossible to play steam support is? well if i could contact them i would comment dont buy the game is my advice
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Somehow it's fun + Story + Skill system + Itemization - Graphics - Camera - Slow walk, slow run
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made for 4:3 aspect displays and there are no options for widescreen resolution
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Cons: No Borderless fullscreen. Can't skip dialogue. No Voice-acting. Lack of documentation: for example how do you use carriers? TLDR: Wanted to apply poison to weapon... drank it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Konung 3 is the third installment in a niche RPG series based on Byzantine, Slavic, and Viking mythology. The story takes place a long time after Konung 2. The last ruler has died, and the quest to retrieve a magical sword from the Era of Titans determines who becomes the next Konung. The story is pretty barebones, just like in the earlier games. Most of it happens right at the beginning and the end, with the rest of your time spent roaming around and picking up side quests. On top of that,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice ! Very cool ! fantasick !) Try it but play at list 1h and 30 min... it's litl dificult on start but after some time you enter atmosfer ) and enjoy )
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Konung 3: Ties of the Dynasty builds on its predecessor with some nice improvements, but keeps the same janky baggage. Right from the start, the opening cinematic sets a great tone and adds a welcome sense of epic scale that pulls you in. Once you get going, there are clear improvements over Konung 2 in terms of systems and overall flow, making it a bit more refined and easier to get into. That said, the technical side is still rough. Getting the game to run smoothly on a modern system can be…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game for fans of slavic folklore. Yes, there are some mechanical problems and the game may seem a bit clunky but the atmosphere is amazing. May be better suited for fans of the Konung series, but I would recommend nontheless.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game and even this Whole Konung Series are my childhood nostalgia . The game talk about Scandinavia Warriors , fighting for a power that brings immortality . Simple gameplay , simple fighting but i love the control villages thing and fighting in a band of warriors .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a Konung fan I would say Yes It may seem a bit dull, just spend abit of your time on it and you'll find it somehow interesting and relax. For me I prefer Konung 2 : Blood of the Titans over this but still it's ok It does contain some pros and cons compare to KO2, just ignore them, you don't need to compare them and just play it like a whole new game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i got glitched in the starting zome wtf i really want to like this game but i cant when their are game breaking glitchs i cant move forward
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great sequel, improves everything from 2
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Konung 3: Ties of the Dynasty builds upon the foundation of its predecessors by blending classic role-playing mechanics with kingdom management and mythology-inspired storytelling. Set in the mystical Woodland, a land influenced by Slavic, Scandinavian, and Byzantine legends, the game places players in the middle of a power struggle after the legendary Titans have vanished. With the Grand Principality left without a ruler, ambitious heroes seek the fabled Champion Sword, a relic believed to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is from the perspective of someone who has not played K1&2, and started from 3. I cannot recommend this - occasional mistranslation, confusing quests and overall clunky experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Konung 3 takes the concept of oddity to a whole new level, surpassing its predecessor as one of the most perplexing games I've encountered in recent memory. The graphics have indeed seen an improvement, with a distinct Russian influence that adds to the game's charm. However, this influence doesn't just shape the aesthetics; it permeates every aspect of the game, plunging players headfirst into a bewildering, complex, and delightfully challenging world. While there is a storyline to follow,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh it is so satysfying to finish it. hit A on keyboard to make selected characters attack. This information is not in the manual. Read the manual. Read RPG GamerMan's guide, if not for anything else, then for alchemy recipies. It's a really good game if you know about A on keyboard... I mean don't take me wrong, the graphic's are out dated. which is kind of popular these days i guess but.. the game is cheap because it's old, but it's very good. and i am hard on game reviews. disable "Easy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great party based RPG. I played the whole series so I am a fan
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is just a nostalgic game i used to play in the past, I recommend this to anyone who likes 1C's old publications. I also do not recommend this game for people who dont like roaming around world picking stuff and solving things kind.
