25 of 25 · most liked firstI love Aldorea rpgs and would have played more than 50 hours for each rpg. However, after playing 11 hours on this rpg/strategy game, I am feeling really bored and tired of the large amount of micromanagement. I am wondering if any other player is feeling the same as I do. Lets look at the micromanagement. In this game you can have yourself and a team of 8 generals (from a total of 20). Each general can have up to 3 additional troops, so your team have up to 36 troops. When you get new weapons…

And who Else? is a grindy strategy based game with an emphasis on micro managing gear and selecting the right general at the right time in your wave based battles. The story is somewhat in the backdrop, consisting of a hero trying to head north and recruit local talent in nearby kingdoms to fight back against a threat. That said, there's usually little dialogue to be had, as the game's focus is the wave based…

The 1st battle looks like a screen saver of some woods with a trail. You dont actually go in an explore them, you basicly just sit at the edge and fight enemy groups useing a basic rpg maker type battles system, but the standard rpg battle system is much better in my opinion. This is more of an empty looking boxed out frame around the standard battle options. I didn't play the game long as even with…

Aldorlea is one of them, having made quite a few that have garnered some dedicated fans. Having fully completed this game, allow me to say that if you like the games that come from Aldorlea, or are interested in trying out one of them, you should steer far away from this game. Although this game is certainly nowhere near the standards of Triple A games or even some of the more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an interesting concept. It is not like most Aldorlea games, in that the combat is more for a unite the world to face an imminent threat than the straight adventure concept. As such, it is a different spin on things. You basically go around to locations to either clear them of monsters, or to convince the people there to join you. Now, you can either play as the prince/heir sent by your father to do this task (he is in frail health), or you play as the prince's bandit girlfriend who is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game that fills a unique niche I love, but ultimately I can't see myself actually recommending this to anybody. While it's perfectly okay... it falls just short in most categories for me to really enjoy the game. While this is made with RPG Maker, it's not a traditional RPG. It's a grand-strategy game built on the engine of a JRPG with a focus on recruiting generals, training their armies and conquering the land around you. From a pure technical/design standpoint this is achieved in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Done in 30h15 with first try and waves achieved. Real time done in 59hours +::O_o No story but strategy of well using armies. Get the world rid of monsters’ invasion from the South-East, easily located as a king won’t let us in. Manage your armies, use them according to the type of enemies cos you can’t buy a bunch of potions to refill or revive them as you wish! But the old pirate’s cove brings a lot of money. To provide some refill for the next battle, equip the right artifact (warrior…

This dev is good at useing the RPGmaker engine (I'm assuming that's what they are using) in some fairly unique and interesting ways. This time they have basically turned it into a kind of pseudo 4x game! Simple grindy fun with some nice waifus.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I own plenty of rpg maker games and must say this is likely one of the best. Really innovative battle system. Well done.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a game quite repetitive, but art and atmopshere make it a good pastime.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RPG Maker strikes again! "You... and who else?" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This time…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I mean it's fine conceptually but it needed far more polish and care. As it is now there is hardly any story and thus hardly any reason to care about anything you're doing. It all just boils down to extremely repetitive gameplay for no payout. It could have been a wonderful game if you were given some story inbetween fights, some cutscenes after major events, anything. There just isn't much here and it's terribly boring because of it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You... and who else? takes an old-school approach to strategy gaming by putting players in command of an ambitious campaign of conquest across a fantasy world divided by rival powers. Developed and published by Aldorlea Games, the title focuses less on cinematic storytelling and more on tactical decision-making, offering a compact but engaging experience for players who appreciate methodical planning. Its premise is simple: build your forces, strengthen your commanders, and lead them through a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →And now, for something different but still featuring the Aldorlea appeal. This is an excellent strategy game featuring a lot of decision making and troop management that very quickly becomes one of those "just one more level, one more try" affairs. It begins simply enough as the hero is sent out to discover the meaning of the new monster unrest disturbing the land. New party members are met quickly, then you can go to a wide variety of areas to see what might be in the areas (denoted by flags)…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I guess I bought this by accident. I thought it was an RPG...not an tactical game with micro-management.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I kept holding on playing and cheating, and voila! My first perfect game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd honestly just be repeating what a lot of people who don't recommend this game are saying. I'm falling asleep every now and then because I have to grind my generals to level 3 for that 1 extra troop to stand a better chance against a certain boss because there are too many waves and too many mixed troops in some waves with the limited options I'm given. This wouldn't be so bad if you weren't receiving single digit exp and you need around 200-300 exp JUST TO FRIGGING LEVEL!!! THE BEES!!!…
