Millennium 5 is a very disappointing ending to the series. Obviously, if you've played the first four you're going to play this and it's not a bad game on its own. However, there are things you should be prepared for. First problem is, just like in Millenium 4, the overall game feels kind of lacking. There's one town and a lot of very long dungeons and that's about it. In the first two games, and, to a lesser extent, the third, it felt like there was more to the game world, more to discover,…

So... this is the conclusion to the 'epic' story of a girl that stands up to an oppressive regime of martial arts fighters by gathering 12 martial arts fighters to challenge the current government, because that's the only way to win an election... I've played through all five games and while after the first one I didn't have much motivation to carry on, the second and third game are actually decent and offer a good amount of exploration, secrets and somewhat interesting characters. Still the…

I will just say that I cannot recommend this game enough. It was truly a very amazing conclusion to the series and anyone who just dismisses these games for being made in RPG Maker is missing out on a great RPG. Though I do feel that while this game could in theory stand alone, all the best moments mean so much more when you have played the first four games and really understand just how much everyone went through to finally make it to the grand finale. About the only real drawback is that…

To get to main point of this review ---- this is an outstanding game in virtually every aspect. Aldorlea has topped themselves with this creative, captivating game. All games of this type begin and end with a solid, well-told story, and this one is flush with all the elements of good, no, great story-telling. The player is captured in the very beginning (doesn't matter if you played the first four or not), and held in the most beguiling way thoughout right up to the conclusion of the…

Marine and her twelve warriors need to train hard, to be able to confront the opponents from Mystrock. Since they only have a few days left, they basically need a miracle. And as it happens, the Bear knows a place where miracles can happen... That's how Millennium 5 starts. The story has many surprising twists and thrilling and emotional moments. And in the end, there's the Grand finale - The Showdown. The gameplay offers the traditional "fight and explore" experience, with many optional or…

This is the final and last chapter of the millennium series the entire series was very enjoyable and fun to play. Pros: Even better visuals improved from the 4th game, even more quests and side ones Cons: none that i could find 10/10 4th was best in the series in my opinion but the 5th was great too :)

This review is for the entire Millennium saga, for the plot spans all five games in continuation. I won't spoil anything from the story itself if I can help it. Look... I LOVED these games. I genuinely did. I enjoyed every installment tremendously, and always looked forward to playing and seeing more. I know they aren't perfect, but as I don't mind the usual limitations of RPGMaker games, playing Millennium had been a wonderful experience. I found the soundtrack enchanting and delightful.…

Maybe if you've played the other games this is more fun but it seems like a generic rpg maker game. Edit: Played a bit more while idling for cards. So the game starts you off with a long cut scene that's just 13 (?!?) characters standing around arguing with each other for reasons? Again, got this in a bundle so maybe it's more fun if you've played the previous games, but for a first timer to the series it's just a bunch of people you know nothing about yammering on. Apparently we have to…

The finale of the Millennium saga, this game is a fine ending to an expansive tale. There are enough differences to keep the series fresh, and the wrap-up was decent. Starting cold will start you at level 46 (Marine, anyway). It is time to end this and bring in a new world ruled with benevolence. Will you succeed?

After leveling up everyone to level 99... I guess for no reason... I played, won the tournament, and got a 'bad' ending. No spoiler on what the ending is, but after reading other reviews, I was sorely disappointed. I'm gonna assume they have more games planned with these characters which is why things aren't resolved, but after reading the comments, I'm really not sure I want to even try for the 'good' ending. I love the character art and the characters themselves. The story's okay and I…

You find again the excellent, enjoyable and entertaining music! Your trainer is tough and hard, has military manners and will push you to the battle if you agree. His house is in a terrifying place, him who rules his life will lose control (> a very funny scene I won’t spoil). The game starts in the middle of things, after the last warrior was registered. The Bear will lead the team to a lovely beach but also the damn place of training. It’s time to train for the showdown after smart lessons…

Final episode and a very good story - the party is now in training after finally beating the odds and getting a team together despite the overtures of the opposition. Bear becoming struck down by a bite is hilarous and the story focuses on trying to find a cure. It allows the party to be split into separate groups each having their own small story. The main setting is a beautiful beach and then different settings after that. You learn a little more about each of the characters' nature and…

RPG Maker strikes again! Millennium 5 is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is more RPG Maker asset flipping from Falling…

I absolutly love Millennium series, espacially the 5th game and I would recommend this game because - Balance in game: this game can be continue from previous game (Millennium 4) if you have the import file. If you decided to import the game, it doesn't mean you will get everything from previous game, and that what made this game less boring to me because I used to play RPG games with continue series similar to this and it become extremly boring because I maxed everything in series 1, so what…

I couldn't finish this game. It has so many design flaws. Again we can transfer something from the last part. Again our levels/skills are reduced. This time we don't even have a chance to get some equipment for our members....no, expect for an temple where you can raise some stats there is only the starting (LONG) dungeon. And mind you...raising stats sounds nice...oh, wait we need money....but there are next to nothing enemies that give money! And there is no shop to sell/buy something!! So…

I have to say this is the best RPG Maker series I have EVER played in my life. Every single part in this Millennium series overall is five out of five stars. It is not too challenging, and has the right mix of play, upgrades, maps, quests and good characters. I admit I never complete all the side quests in the game, but I play the entire game to the end and love every second of it. This takes a lot for me to really get into games. I love how you can select your level of difficulty (I always…

I played the Millennium series as each came out over the years and this most recent playthrough was just to experience the game again. I've enjoyed the series, and was loving the jungle maps in M5 until.....Benoit calls himself a pu**y. Seriously?? Wow, REALLY uncalled for. I get that the series has 'grown up' a little, but the dialogue has just gotten mean and obnoxious. Younger players don't need that, especially if they've played from M1 on. Otherwise it's an amusing and pretty good game overall. But Benoit's scene... c'mon, really? If M6 comes out, I won't be buying it.

This is a review spanning all of the Millennium series (games 1-5). After about 10 years of playing, I've finally finished this series. I had first intended to 100% all of the achievements, but I only managed to with the first 3 games. Partially, this is due to bad achievement design, as there are many opportunities to unfortunately lock yourself out of most achievements early on, and some require multiple playthroughs, many which rely on Hard Mode and really don't bring much more challenge…

I've played through all the games preceding this one. It's an overall interesting story, although I don't find Marine particularly likable. Millennium 1, 2, and 3 were all fine. Places to explore and things to do. No place felt particularly burdensome. Millennium 4 felt way too short with little to do in comparison. Millennium 5 feels like it had very little content thus far, and I'm now running the same gauntlet 4 times over, which is...incredibly boring to do over and over again with no…

Millennium 5 – The Battle of the Millennium is the climactic finale to Aldorlea Games’ long-running Millennium saga, bringing together years of narrative buildup into a decisive confrontation that aims to reward dedicated followers of the series. Developed and published by Aldorlea Games, the title stays firmly rooted in classic RPG Maker traditions, embracing old-school turn-based combat, sprite-based exploration, and a sprawling fantasy narrative driven by an ensemble cast. I don't know why people liked the story of a whiny, immature 15 yo who even tried to burn down the house of a guy she was trying to recruit. The story goes that she saw some squirrels helping each other so she decides to help the whole world by beating the mean old guys who rule her world in a tournament. I did like most of the games in the series' gameplay so I'll give it a positive.

First of all: Millennium 5 was made to wrap up the Series with the long awaited battle for the Showdown which happens, but also lets you do a lot of optional content, showing you that there are still things to be done. When you play this last, you get a feeling that it might not end today. It might not end with the showdown, because I have done so much and I still have so much that needs doing. But you also think: well, nothing actually ends, right? There are three endings and only one of…

Easily one of the best RPGMAKER games I've played. The story finally climaxes in an awesome fashion and the plot digs deeper than most titles would. The only downside, and probably what bothers people, is the pit of infinity. It's one, one, weak point in 5 games of amazing quality. Buy the game, enjoy the game.
