Which makes for a great storyline! They have "add," items in some scenes which is not common among the point click realm. I felt that they somehow recycled some scenes from the first two 1000-doors-games. Especially at the beginning of the game in the first world. The mini games are repetitive, mostly moving stuff from one place to another. There is one minigame in the bonus level which got really on my nerves because of the bad hit box. As with all the other House of 1,000 Doors games, this was a nice romp through the world and I enjoyed my time with it, even the new "put things back on the screen" mini game. It shows some improvements from the first two games. For example, this game has an interesting hidden object variation. In some scenes, you get pictures of objects and you have to place them appropriately instead of just finding them. I love the visuals of the games; the art is extremely detailed, and the puzzles do become a bit more challenging in this instalment. I also like that they introduced a new search mini-game where you have to place objects in the right place instead of searching for them.

The style is the same, go through doors, solve puzzles (though the music is more thematic than relaxing this time), but what you'll discover is entirely unexpected. I enjoyed it a lot. ^-^

The atmosphere is amazing, reminiscent of the original Blade Runner (referring to the sound track). The video cut scenes are also among the best I've seen, even when compared to the more recent Five-BN games. The Artifex Mundi games I thumbs up because they're their better games, because with how they re-use puzzles, if you've played one, you've played them all, so you may as well just play the better ones. This time the story is even more epic with a massive calamity threatens all of humanity. The graphics and sounds are well done and the animations, although a bit aged, are also done well enough to keep you moving along. Unfortunately, as usual with this series the voice acting is still very, very bad. Luckily there's not too much of it.
