Alex took the case and started to find small threads which lead him to a bigger and more complicated case which you'll continue in the bonus chapter. The game is very well done and its length is good. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1832577257 It has many hidden objects scenes, but I didn't like that you are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very good HOG that I really enjoyed playing. Good art, clear scenes, lots of innovative and well-thought-out puzzles. However, halfway through the devs had inserted the most ridiculous shooting mini-game. When I play a HOG I DO NOT want a timed shooting game that you need the reflexes of a teenager to get past! Just a horrible decision to put this in there. So for that one reason I do not recommend this game, unfortunately, as otherwise it is a very enjoyable game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Private detective Alex Hunter searches a woman's missing father. + A hidden object game in good quality + Map shows places with next activities and you can go there immediately + Bonus chapter and secret room - No Steam achievements although some in-game exists
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never had to use the hint button as much as I had to in this game. So much back tracking and re-appearing hidden object puzzles. The hint button directs you back to a location where you have already completed a hidden object puzzle - and yes, it's the same image, but a new set of objects. Story is good. Music is extremely repetitive. Buy in a bundle, not a single buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What wasn't to like about this game. I loved the music, graphics, story and puzzles. Some of them made you think, but that's the whole idea, right. Would love a part 2 to this, never get tired of HOG.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story is realy good. Detective case connected with HO is super combination. Despite the fact that the game is older, it does not looks its age. Resolution is satisfactory, the artwork is on higher level and the voice of people is realy good. HO is nice, colorful most of the time, only sometimes a little gray or dark too much. Items are usually big, only sometimes hidden behind other objects, morphing items, combination of items. Minigames are good but harder then usual. I skipped some of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really nice HOG^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty solid H.O.G. even though it is older! You get to play a Private Detective and the game makes you think like one. Picking out clues and such. Sometimes the game didn't respond to my clicks, especially in H.O. scenes, but otherwise... Everything was pretty spot on. There are Collector items too and although there are no achievements, playing through this game is an achievement in itself. Kudos. That was interesting!!! Thank ya! :D =) :>
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite good. Clear HO scenes. Puzzles can be skipped.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed playing this game. Technically sound. I had no issues playing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing special but enjoyable enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty cool game. The puzzles were pretty good and not too easy. The HOS were not too many and not too less. In expert mode it was not too hard and the overall gameplay was pretty cool. The story was nicely chosen and not too classical or boring. The bonus chapter and the bonus room ( that you can access after collecting all the symbols in the game) where a nice extra to the story. All in one: A pretty cool game that is pretty fun to play. I can highly recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Good story with puzzles and not a timer in sight (except for hint reload)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thumbs down! There were some good moments in this game, but it’s not really worth the frustration to get to them. This game was released in 2013 and I was able to run it okay under Windows 10. There are no trading cards or Steam achievements. There are some in-game achievements, but that’s just not the same thing. One feature that I liked was that the map shows which locations have a collectible available. I’m not a big fan of collectibles, but the symbols weren’t too hard to find. There are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind I believe you'll like the game if you usually play this mysteries games. I'd recommend it to who likes the adventure - hidden object genre. I preferred to stop play it after I finished the first chapter, and a little from the second chapter. Nice story, quality is fine, nothing more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty good hidden object puzzler, decently challenging at the casual setting. I imagine that the expert mode would be pretty fun for the avid puzzler
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrific HOG with decent graphics, tricky puzzles and plenty of hidden object scenes. Good object detection, no bugs, fun little story. I wish this was a series because I would absolutely play another one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I generally enjoyed the puzzles and story of this game. However I did have an issue where the entire sewer section lagged to the point where those 4 areas took me the same amount of time, if not more time than the entirety of the whole first section. Besides that one issue though it was a very enjoyable game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy the game. there's not too much cinematic. The grafic are nice. The story is good enough and it's hard enough to be fun !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In this video I take a look at Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind a hidden object and puzzle game from Alawar Entertainment. This is a very high quality casual game and little extra features like an animated bird bathing in a puddle on one of the location screens really makes this known. It's an impressively designed and implemented HOG/puzzle game to say the least. All the bells and whistles are there so take a look at my video to see what it offers. Remember though, this is a puzzle game…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Average but Playable — a decent old-school HOG Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind is… fine. Not great, not terrible — just a solid, old-school hidden-object adventure that does its job without ever standing out. What works: Decent variety of hidden-object scenes and puzzles Nice atmosphere and detailed environments Easy to play, relaxing, no stress What doesn’t: Some puzzles rely too much on trial-and-error instead of logic The story starts promising but fizzles out before the end Feels dated…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Literally one of my favorite games on Steam. So much fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun hidden objects game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not fond of this one - if I weren't WAY outside the refund window due to taking forever to get around the playing this one I'd be refunding it. Honestly though? I think I'm spoiled as my intro to Hidden object games was with Artifex Mundi and at this point? I'd rather replay one of theirs that I've finished than play any more of Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind. My biggest issue is the difficulty setting on this game. Its either insanely easy to the point you're wondering where the challenge is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game one of my more favorite ones l like the art style and HOG parts of the game buy on sale even better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just what a hidden object game should be. Higher quality than most.

It is a decent HOG. It managed to keep me hooked for the 9 hours I played it. Very detective like. Even if the graphics are not the best given that the game is a bit old, it is still enjoyable. It doesn't have achievements but it does have cloud…

CONS 🔴 Outdated UI needs modernizing. REVIEW The game shines brightly in its immersive narrative and technical aspects. Its captivating, multi-layered detective story and diverse locations create a rich exploration experience. The CG cutscenes were…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have no idea why I have two separate versions of this game in my steam library, but this is the one I played. Its not a very stand out game in terms of hidden object adventure scenes. It was well drawn, but the plot didn't really make an awful lot of sense. You were investigating a missing persons case and wound up getting involved in a science experiement.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is alright. It does have a feature I haven't seen in other hidden object games. It marks on the map where you can find collectible hidden symbols. That may be more hand-holding than a lot of people would like. But, I'm like, if there's 35 hidden symbols to find; you can't backtrack to previous locations, or replay previous chapters; and missing even one symbol stops you from getting the achievement, having them marked on the map is appreciable. Mind you this is an old game that has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a Hidden Object Game. It's fine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played in easiest mode. I was pleasantly surprised at how much adventure, puzzles & mini games are packed into this one HOPA. It has a good, strong story. Each HOP earns you 1 inventory item. There is a lot of point & click action, so you find items and do lots of things along the way. Each HOP includes things to assemble & hidden items to uncover. There is a good variety of puzzles & mini games. It shows that extra time was put into the development of this game. I would buy more "Alex"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alex Hunter is a Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure, in which a man is contacted in order to find a missing scientist. What he did not expect is that the scientist was being used for evil plans. The highest plus point of this game is the puzzles and clever usage of the objects, beyond a very intriguing plot. The only point that is somewhat confusing is the use of the locations. You have to frequently go to places where you already did everything, due to the hidden objects scenes. This may be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →II think this is a really good adventure game with some HO scenes included, but it's not a straight HOG. The HOS were not the total focus by a long shot. Compared to other games out there of this genre that have come out in recent years (adventure hidden object - that's my characterization anyway), this had nice graphics, a variety of tasks and I didn't find it to be simply one HOS following another ad nauseum. There's no "action"; you don't jump or crawl or run from creatures - so it's not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is middle of the way on the "Mountain Crime: Requital" scale. I'd recommend this game, but definitely buy it on a sale or in a bundle or something. I enjoyed it enough to recommend, but certainly proceed with caution. Overall, the game wasn't bad. There were a few puzzles that were poorly drawn and made the solution unclear, and some with TERRIBLE sound effects that made it a pain to complete. I don't know what it was about this game, but many of the puzzles were tedious and didn't feel…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wholly unremarkable. There is nothing to separate Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind from any other hidden object game. Even that title is the kind of gibberish you'd expect a Random Hidden Object Game Name Generator to spit out. There's a lot of it, though. Apparently it took me nine hours to complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes i recommend it to others, I Love it, Very Challenging took me a bit longer to beat it then most games x3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good puzzles that can be quite challenging. Some objects are a little too hidden but a very fun game.
