I bought this as part of another bundle, and because "Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1" uses another executable, Steam did not detect that I owned that game already and didn't display me a warning message that I already own an item from the bundle. Therefore, I payed twice for this game. The publishers rebundeling is not okay, because the bundles overlap each other but that is not displayed by Steam.

Sure, it has a lot of hogs but they are not junkpiles and the items are mainly relevant to the locales(as all the developers were 5 BN who have a wonderful rep as game developers) It's more a light adventure than any thing and is a very well written sci fi story, It has great voice overs and wonderful and imaginative graphics. (plus,…

We play as an archeologist, who works on one of the most relevant discovery in ages, Atlantis itself. Found near…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my 2nd playthrough and I must say I am loving this game. It's not very hard and I am enjoying the story and the different aspects of the game. I make great use of the quick travel map which has the options of showing where there are actions available and whether you have found the "special" hidden object in each scene. The special objects are notes. This game has a lot of gameplay to it. The first time playing it through took 11 hours! The story is SciFi and about Martians so the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll try to be quick, because I could write endlessly about Eternal Journey... I loved this game. It gets everything pretty much right. The sci-fi setting is great (although it's a bit lonely), the story is one of the best I've seen in a casual game, and the cutscenes are actually good, which, you know, most hidden object games don't give a damn about these scenes... Specifically, they all rush their endings, this one didn't. It's not a particularly long ending, but it's frustrating in no way.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I kept staring at this game and wondering why in the hell do I even know what happened in it...? Even going as far as knowing what the ending was like...? That's because I accidentally played it in: "Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1"... I apparently didn't notice I owned this game separately. Oopsie. Anyway, this was a good game. I dislike the Sci-Fi aspect of it. But that's just me and the most important part of it all? Was the cat. Really. When a cat is the savior... Hands down: Good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Writing a review of this game some 9 years after launch is... tricky. The highest supported res is only 1600x1200, although there is widescreen support (yet oddly when recording the game, it only records at 4:3). Voice acting is prevalent throughout, this is however more often than not amateurish at best. There are no Steam nor ingame achievements, there are however collectables. These do serve purpose and add a little to the backstory and are worth searching for. In contrast to many more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You don't often get a HOG set in a more futuristic space setting so this was a nice change up from the usual forests of most fantasy or medieval settings. Puzzles and HO scenes were decent with about the right level of challenge. Voice acting was good and there was a lot of animated cutscenes and background building video logs to find along the way. This game has a completely open map through the whole game which can cause some navigation issues trying to find your way back or figuring out…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a gem of a game. yet another proof that older HOGS are better. its really nice old school HOG with great story. Pros. great story nice bonus story decent game play time (2 and half hours for main story and almost 1 hour for the bonus story) nice sound tracks cons. sadly since it is an old game the support for wide screen monitors isnt that good the graphics is low quality (due the age of the game) other than that i highly recommend this game. really nice story and highly polished…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best HOG's I've played in a very long time. The overall production quality is of a much higher standard than usual for a game of this genre. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a routine hidden object casual puzzle/adventure game with a sci-fi/fantasy/mystery theme. Solving various puzzles and hidden object minigames reveals the plot and uncovers the mystery. There's no proper widescreen or full screen support, choosing fullscreen simply causes the game to display in a 4:3 window in the top left hand corner of the screen. It's not acceptable to charge $10 for a game in 2020 without even the basics like 16:9, HD support.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. Just change your screen resolution to be lower while playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’d probably go with a mixed review if I could. It’s not terrible, but there are better hidden object games. The hidden object scenes were okay, but the mini-games had too many sliding puzzles. The story had potential, but the ending seemed rather contrived. The map was helpful, but it still takes some pixel hunting to find stuff, especially the memory cards. I’ll go with a thumbs up because the game includes a built-in walkthrough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A surprising gem! I genuinely didn't think this game would be anything special. It starts off with a short little prologue before the story takes a very wild and weird turn, but as you start the game proper and learn more about how things happened, it ends up being a fun little game with a decent length, as well. While the ending does leave it open for a sequel which I would love but will probably never get, it is still a very satisfying one off and definitely a hidden gem of a hidden-object…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/FRrLKq1KBx0 Even after over 150 years the skills of true archeologist never change even if the planet does. Losing connections between puzzles makes for lower player engagement.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's actually quite impressive compared to other hidden object games. The cutscenes actually look like effort was put into them rather than the weird "moving images" that I've seen too many times. The fact there's no achievements for steam or in-game means there's no stress for any missable achievements. The only issue I had was launching the game, it would show me a black screen then automatically minimise. The fix was to run the game as an administrator and disable fullscreen. Edit: For…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful point-and-click adventure game, had a great time playing it! Reminds me of 'The Dig' which might very well have been an inspiration for it; a fantastic adventure, slowly uncovering a mystery bit by bit. The item usages made sense and I've never felt like it went hard to guess. Only two things confused me a bit: - had to return to the same hidden item collector location, which did not feel intuitive - (might be mentioned in the in-game strategy menus, I did not read them before…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely good and worthy experience. I appreciate what the game offered since it was released in 2012 which is I think one of the older ones. If you want mix of archeology and space, this is really good choice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent hidden object game. interesting premise. I played the demo as a kid, and wanted to visit it to actually finish the game. Its clearly from a time when sci-fi was starting to get big and people were playing with new concepts. The story was engaging and mechanics were good. Overall an enjoyable game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really great game in the style of house of 1000 doors. The story is really cool and the lore is pretty deep. One of really few HIOs that use collectibles to give more information about the game world your in. I love this game through and through and it makes really fun to play it again and again. I can really highly recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad little game the story is hard to follow buy on sale !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is quite honestly a brilliant game. As an HOG it doesn't offer anything you won't have seen before, hidden object scenes, simple and occasionally challenging puzzles. But the story weaves together everything you're doing so that it's completely engaging. There is a map with action indicators and fast travel and did I ever use it. I've never needed one before but this game has so many areas and things to do, you would honestly get lost without it. For those who are a little squeamish…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game. The story was intriguing, and while fairly predictable, unraveling the details was quite fun and interesting. You can play this game in two different modes: a casual mode or a challenging mode. For my first play through (which took just under three hours) I chose the more casual mode, which gives you more hints. The puzzles in this mode were not difficult, and the map gives you prompts on where to go next, and things like that. It combines puzzles, hidden object…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice mix of ancient and futuristic locations.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, a little short (just under 3 hours) but the riddles are logical.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game and others no doubt have left better reviews. i just want my thumbs up here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Low playtime due to this being replicated in Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1. It's a bog-standard HoG.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the games from this developer. This kind of adventure game, I don't play the other kinds. They have other series that are awesome but I can't get them on Steam. I play those elsewhere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game in the past. I was glad you have it. SO I CAN PLAY it again! I like this game a lot. Thanks! It is a good game and it's worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's O.K. The story is eye-rollingly corny. I'm giving it a thumbs down just because 94% is way too generous of a user score.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is above average on the Mountain Crime Requital Scale. I had a lot of fun with this game. The music was especially noteworthy for Hidden Object Games. One tune was definitely a bop. The puzzles were nice and decent, nothing that got too tedious or too difficult. I definitely recommend playing this to anyone, and enjoy the ride! I don't want to say much out of being spoilery, but, definitely keep track of that plot. A big plus: there's a nice cat in this game. Go grab this and play!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →20 THUMBS UP What a big surprise!!!! I haven't even played the bonus game yet. This is an ADVENTURE HOG and is amazing! And guess what? No magic! The journal is so good to read & adds to the story and records clues, You will find devices and notes along the way that keep filling you in on what happened before you got there. You start out at Atlantis and end up, ---- guess you'll have to play it to find out! :P New locations are constantly opening up! The HO scenes are very clear. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this one. The story is good and the HOS are ancient style (no crappy wannabe innovative mechanics, you have a list and you have to find the items, some are hidden). HOS are not too difficult nor too easy, the flow is good and appart for one or two more cryptic items, everything was fine to me. Minigames were not the most originals and there is no achievement (but i personaly don't care about achievement, so it was not a problem to me). Only default, music was meh :/ Oh, and a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, easy for the most part, and nostalgic for me personally. Plus, an actually intriguing story with good lore. Would recommend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want to get through the game quicker, make sure you the map to get between points of interest. It's also a good way to check and see if you've completely all the current tasks at your location.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fairly by-the-numbers one of these. Nothing is terribly difficult. The map tells you whether or not there's currently anything to do at any given location, which greatly cuts down on frustration, though it arguably makes everything a bit too streamlined. Light on hidden-object content, but what's there is fine, if a little too easy. You can safely skip all the story stuff. Nothing great. Nothing bad. It's fiiiiiiiiiiiine, but if you're even looking at reviews for hidden object games,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent Hidden Object game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A competent and fairly standard hidden object game. I found most of the minigames easy except one slider one and there is an odd/dynamic meteor storm halfway through. One thing I did like in the hidden object sections, is after you selected the object and name of the object is displayed. Never seen this before and liked it. My only real complaints other than the meteor section, is the excessively goofy and nonsensical ending of the main game and the end of the extra section in a similar…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. The puzzles are good and challenging. The Hidden object parts are not too difficult. The map systems and hints keep things moving along. I recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An enjoyable click adventure. I feel like they did a good job of leading you to puzzles without necessarily spelling them out for you. The story was, of course, ridiculous, but the gameplay came through to keep me exploring and solving mysteries. Would recommend 👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice almost easy game of puzzles and H.O.G.'s nice animation in the cut-scenes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a fun game. It has creative puzzles and challenges. An overall entertaining game. I would recommend this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good hog with exceptional story, which kept me interested the whole time. Where i took my time after work to enjoy the game as a whole. Seems like the ending is to have another episode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good play, I like hidden object puzzles especially and this one offered fun and strategy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Above average HOG
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, this game is visually well designed, has good sound and lots of puzzles, luckily there is the quick navigation a little later on in the adventure: you will need it :) Nice story (for a HOG). Recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In this video I take a look at Eternal Journey: New Atlantis a si-fi adventure HOG game. This title has a fantastic story line. One minute I'm under the sea, the next I'm in deep space. The quality of the game play is also notable, the HOG's for example have hidden places in them for some items. Definitely try this title out if you are after a good casual game.
