A scenic journey through an imaginative story of Werewolves and Wizards Tonguc's style of story telling through his beautifully detailed and surreal worlds is unique and lovingly crafted with each new game he releases. Here, you follow the story of various characters having to deal with their village under attack from Werewolves and neighbouring countries, corruption, and a touch of wizardry. He continues to experiment, adding new features with each title. Combat is introduced for the first…

This is a lovely game and quite the departure from a traditional walking simulator. It has beautiful and surreal scenery, coupled with a mood-setting music score that alternates between peaceful wandering and stressful encounters with werewolves. The story is told through snippets along the way and your path is complicated by tricky/deadly obstacles, creative puzzles, and growling beasts. For those not into action sequences, the difficulty level can be set to make this element super easy. There…

Finding the Soul Orb is another Tonguc Bodur walking simulator game with an element of combat involved. You are a sniper taking out werewolves, so not suitable for children! Lush graphics are a given with Tonguc's games and this is no exception. A lot of the combat is underground or at night, so it is a relief to come to the surface to a beautiful environment. The game is pretty linear and stepping on glowing circles activates the story. The music was really lovely and during combat,…

The tags may suggest otherwise but this is just your "casual" hallway style, asset-flip, walking-sim. Between slowly crawling on your "adventure" past the same rock over and over, you can enjoy a bit of "exploration" by walking into the same two houses, that may contain a collectible out in the open, over and over. Every once in a while, there is "action" when you can slowly, slowly, slowly, kill the same three very slow werewolves, over and over. Then maybe shoot a non-moving gargoyle near…

I had a lot of hope going into Finding the Soul Orb. We were promised combat, beautiful visuals, and collectibles galore, plus a fun storyline involving a magical orb and werewolves. And, to be fair, this is probably one of Tony Bodur's best games to date because of the inclusion of these elements. The crossbow combat is relatively frequent in the game, and it's mostly functional. Sometimes your arrows should hit and they go screaming off into the ether, but normally they hit. If you have…

Dude...I was not expecting this at all, wow..this is awesome so far. It's very atmospheric , there is a nice serene calm feeling to it. You read these little messages that go to the story as you go, so you don't take in all the story board at once..The bow that you get as your first weapon feels great. The mechanics to this game feel nice, there is some "rough around the edges" spots around the maps but it's not a big deal. Youtube game play:…

It's alright. I'd consider it a walking sim despite the light combat/puzzle elements and that's why I bought it. Which is good, because the combat is a bit of a chore (although not challenging in any way, which I don't know if a positive or a negative). As far as the rest of the game goes, unfortunately it feels rather uninspired. It takes a while for the world to come into itself and actually feel like a fantasy world with an actual concept, but only kind of. The story is... just okay. I…

I consider myself a Tonguc Bodur veteran so I'm always happy, as they say, to jump back into it. I think this game is a solid combination of every element the developer incorporated into his work before and it's great for everyone. Mostly, a story driven walking simulator with some combat and light puzzle elements. Beautiful visuals! You'll have fun. It took me a bit over three hours to finish but I also missed two gargoyles and had to go back to find them.

Short review. If you are looking for a good FPS/action game skip this. Same if you are looking for a pure puzzle game, skip it. If you enjoy a good story and a very beautiful game world, then go ahead and buy this game. Maybe the price is still a bit to high, because well the game is rather short(about 2 hours). But I enjoyed the story. Recommended.

A short little Game with beautiful Graphics and an amazing Soundtrack. I just had some FPS issues until i changed my options to fullscreen. The combat is very simple and not too hard but what would you expect from an walking simulator. Well i can only recommend this game if you have a few Euros left.

This is the first game from this developer that features combat (that I'm aware of) and honestly, I had a blast playing this. The story was great, the music was fantastic, and hunting for the gargoyles and demons was addictive. It's not an incredibly long game (I found everything in about 2 and a half hours) but for less than $10 it's totally worth it in my opinion. If you're aware of this developers games you know he mostly makes walking simulators. This one really breaks up the formula…

Love all of this guy's games. This one for the first time has combat as well as the usual walking and taking in the story and breathtaking scenery. Fighting the Warewolves with your trusty crossbow is difficult but really fun. As usual the locations and graphics are breathtaking and the story, told from several perspectives is interesting so far. Recommended if you like these kind of games.

A First-Person Shooter? What the hay? An FPS from Tonguç Bodur? We've come to expect walking sims and adventure games, with a slight dip into horror, but an actual shooter? Holy flying crossbow bolts, Batman! And, it's good! Not fantastic as shooters go, but very good. Bodur, and writer/collaborator, Mel Dawn, crafted a classic, but engaging fantasy-adventure story. The pacing is nice--if you're used to the molasses-oozing pace of Bodur's walking sims--and the puzzles/traps are decent,…

It's alright. Basically a walking sim + werewolf sniping game. The game kind of freezes for a bit every time a werewolf dies. I had a bug occur where I could still see the main menu text while in-game. Bolt physics are interesting, and the music is good.

Finding the Soul Orb, developed and published by Tonguç Bodur, is a short first-person adventure that blends light exploration, minimal combat, and environmental storytelling into a linear fantasy journey. It follows a familiar structure seen in many walking simulator-style games, but attempts to expand on that formula by introducing small gameplay elements such as puzzle interaction and ranged combat. While the game presents a clear artistic vision and occasionally striking atmosphere, it…

Short journey through beautiful landscapes with simple puzzles and cute but awkward combat. There are engaging story items (notes) that you encounter throughout the game, giving the journey a little context. Though the purpose of your wanderings isn't entirely clear. Low replay value maybe, but a nice way to spend 2 hours.

Another wonderful addition to the Tonguc games series. I definitely liked the addition of a battle mechanic, although I can say firmly that I thought the creatures were far too weak. There were several times that I thought for sure I should have died from several being in close proximity but I never did. Good story, fantastic visuals, and captivating music. Overall worth a play, and definitely a good addition to the series that felt fresh and different.

Very nice little game. Pretty short and enjoyable experience. Mostly a walking simulator with small puzzle mechanics and similarly small combat mechanics. Visually impressive game. Very lovely atmosphere can be found throughout the twelve chapters in the game. You'll probably see a lot of that in the screenshot section of the community hub. A con to point out though is the animation and AI on enemies are both pretty poor. Not particularly a huge deal considering what the game is meant to be,…

Recommend only to walking simulators fans. Others will find it somewhat boring, nice to see but a little clunky. The "combat" is nominal, shooting from a distance, no real peril. The history is rather naive and juvenile.

Let me qualify my recommendation to encompass first-time adventure game players. If you're an experienced player, FtSO will utterly bore you to tears. I finished all 12 levels in 2 hours. The werewolves are easy to kill, opening the occasional gate make up the game's high points, and achievements are simple. There is no loot, no side missions, nothing. While the story line starts out OK, I quickly found myself just quickly skimming through the text and moving on. Werewolves are killing the…

I am very disappointed in this game. It claims to have "puzzles" but all you do is shoot marked points. Second: "Action" is my opinion not shooting a werewolf three times with a crossbow followed by its death. As far as I played (chapter 4) it does build up an atmospere, but in no way would I describe it as "horror". And (in my eyes the most important point) the way the story is told reminds me of a kid trying to write their first ever fantasy story. It is boring to read, nothing is explained…

I only recommend this to people who really like walking simulators or who already know Tonguc's previous works. It's not the best walking sim, it's not the worst. I went through 6 levels out of a visible 8 but there is another page of levels I didn't view so likely 10-16 levels total. This is att best a proof of concept, an alpha to be generous. The werewolves are furries, the crossbow isn't fun to use, the scenery isn't pretty because it's generic and painted on so to speak. It can be pretty, but it is so cheap that it feels like calling a gas station hot dog "gourmet". This would be a good game for walking sim sluts or someone who has never played a…

I couldn't make it far into this as the story just isn't interesting at all for me. The writing for it is just awful in my opinion. I have played a few walking simulators before, so I do enjoy the occasional relaxed pace of games like this but only if the story is good.

Ok, so I just finished this right after Bodur's other "walking simulator" from 2020, Education. And I now have a better understanding of his games. This game isn't bad. But it doesn't have that sense of exploration and/or discovery and/or gameplay as say Gone Home, Edith Finch, Ethan Carter, Tacoma, etc. It's a pretty straight forward (pun intended) "walking sim" w/ combat. The combat is...not good. It's not bad, either. You won't ever die. It's just...uninteresting and the crossbow…
