Tonguç Bodur has made its growth path over time, improving its works. I want to leave a positive review and encourage them to continue improving their games. However, the inexperience is clearly visible and the game has several bugs. - The travel companion often positions itself in areas where they impede movement, remaining stuck. - Climbing a ladder is slightly traumatic, when you reach the top for some reason the character freezes. A positive note is the soundtrack that improves the…

Not recommended even if you love walking sim. This game only scratch the surface of the genre. I fail to have fun or being entertained by the atmosphere or story. It is a one-hour-no-brainer-slow game with just a twist at the end. I wanted to dive into the dev universe by playing its several games but I guess I'm not the right audience. Would fit only for those who enjoyed his previous game. That being said, the dev has his universe and its community which I respect that.

Another lovely walking simulator from Tonguc Bodur. In a departure from previous games, you have a companion on your journey to find your missing daughter. Your brother follows you, providing commentary (with a strong American accent that borders on a southern twang!) and a few inventory items. His dialog, coupled with notes found along the way, begin to alert you that all is not right in the world you are walking through. The game is split into 7 sections, delimited by gates that each…

Alright. Cions of Vega is done and dusted. This is another walking simulator in Tonguc’s catalogue of games, and I think it may be my favorite so far. It was right at an hour in length for me (with some extra time spent wrapping up endings and catching a few screenshots), had a very clear and concise vision, and executed on that vision immaculately. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3171976996 I think the clear inspiration for this game is Logan’s Run, although this is…

This is very much like the earlier games from the developer. You walk, pick up a few items, read some papers and search for keys to unlock gates. Although this time you have a companion, who occasionally tells you about what's been going on. The scenery looks great, but you may need to tweak the graphics settings a bit to stop the game from lagging. The story becomes predictable after about 2/3 in, but it doesn't matter as it's still interesting. Overall, I liked the game. The main thing to…

Brief but Beautiful adventure thoroughly worth the price just to admire the graphics. Graphics 10/10 Simply stunning. Everything from the trees to the water rippling is all done very very well. Was so impressed that this was developed by one person?/ I totally want an rpg that has the graphics designed by this dude after seeing the flame from the torch sway. Locations all fit in with the area and look breathtaking. I dream of a house near the water like the one in the 3rd gate. Story 8/10 -…

It's pretty good so far. I'm only about halfway through but it has my attention. The story is so vague and strange that it keeps you wanting to figure out what the hell is going on. It is mainly only the story and not a lot of mind blowing game play but still really fun. It looks and runs great as well. I only had one bug where I got stuck on a ladder and had to crouch down in order to move but other than that it was good. If you want to watch my first look you can check out the link below.…

Not really sure what the game is so positive, its really nothing special. Very boring waking simulator, even if i like them, this one felt empty and all the same. Same kids, identical houses, same rods, all the same assets, not very good English voice, notes are simple and boring and short. The game is not optimized very well, had FPS drops almost all of the time. The puzzles were ok but still nothing very good or fun. The story was very linear and seen 1000 times, nothing new at all…

Feels like a cheap knockoff of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Half of the game is walking down long, straight roads while a rather annoying companion talks to me. The other half is wandering around repetitive houses solving trivial puzzles. I was still willing to give it a chance thanks to the moderately suspenseful story. But then I reached a platforming section where the game repeatedly IGNORED my press of the spacebar to jump, causing me to fall and start over, a.k.a. one of my least…

Before you do anything this is a story based walking sim. There are only a few puzzles and they are very easy. So there is no action, but the game kind of makes up for that by the beautiful landscape you are in. This game really shines with those graphics. The same can not be said about the character models, which are just stiff and don't really blend in well. The music was quite relaxing and good enough. I really do not have anything more to add. If you like story based games, you could try…

Finished it, finally. I say finally because I am a novice gamer and what might seem old hat to most players will give me fits! The puzzles are basic--this game is mostly about the story and the journey. I love Unreal Engine 4 games because the scenery is so neat and this game doesn't disappoint. The cons for me were inside the houses it is very dark and made it hard to see, and I thought the brother was SUPER creepy, following like red light/green light, but I understand he is a necessary part…

Cions of Vega, developed and published by Tonguç Bodur, is a narrative-driven exploration game that blends elements of mystery, walking simulation, and environmental storytelling into a slow-paced, introspective experience. Set in a quiet rural landscape filled with forests, abandoned houses, and unsettling silences, the game places you in the role of a father named Kenny, who embarks on a journey with his brother Logan to find his missing daughter, Leila. What begins as a simple search soon…

[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/9686972/]Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this! This developer is known for making short, low-effort walking simulators. Unlike most of his other games, this one attempts to tell an actual full story. Unfortunately, it's.. not great. In this game, you and another character walk from house to house looking for your daughter. In each house is a "puzzle" which needs to be solved to advance the game. Between each…

tldr; nice looking linear 2h walking simulator, worth 5 bucks The dev is a graphics designer and it shows. The graphics, music and overall atmosphere is good, but everything else is rudimentary. There are some minor annoyances like sprinting getting disabled when entering some areas and not automatically being reenabled when leaving them but nothing too bad. Puzzles are few and nonsensical but easy to solve. The story writing is kinda bad and the notes don't really add anything to the story.…

Great little game (1-2 hours), more puzzle then walk sim, there was only 1 thing i didnt like in this game that I personally do not think should be in a walking sim (a jump scare) as it breaks the enjoyment of the environments. But other then that, an A OK game for my personal taste. Some replayability with diffrent endings is a good idea. All in all, def a thumbs up.

If you've played other games by this developer, you probably know what to expect, and this is what you get, more or less. If not, it's a fairly simple short walking simulator with some very minor gameplay elements, mediocre story, gorgeous location and beautiful music. If you seek to turn off your brain for two hours and wander in some breath-taking scenery, give this a try. I always find these games incredibly relaxing but be warned, this one features a few creepy children and an actual…

That was by far the worst experience of a walking sim i had in a long time. I played alot of the previous little walking sims from this "studio" but there really was nothing I enjoyed about this one. The voice acting was horrible, the story was horrible, the writing in the letters was horrible and the visuals.. werent that great or stunning either. Does it look good? Well, it would probably look better without the soupy haze that makes everything look indistinct, and in general barely being able to see anything. Most of the "game" is spent wandering into dark cabins with no flashlight or lighter so that you can fumble around looking for a thing to put on a thing and then find a note and a key so that you can move on to the next area where you walk through terrain that mostly looks the same as the last area and look through more dark…

It's short, has beautiful music and atmosphere. I'd actual prefer if you did voice acting in your own language and just gave subtitles in english I just don't think you picked the right voice actor for this. grabbed this for $3 and it's worth that price. the ending is well subpar but it's a pretty walking sim, which is typical of this developer.

Cions of Vega chronicles a short walk made by two brothers, Kenny and Logan, in search of Kenny's nineteen-year-old daughter Leila. Why Logan would think that Leila has run away to her "hometown" (really just about 6 houses separated by a mile each in a forest) instead of to Cleveland or something is revealed later in the game, but why Kenny believes that this is a reasonable course of action is just incomprehensible. While you walk around, your brother tells you your life story (as my brother…

Cions of Vega is a walking simulator, where you want to search your daughter with your brother, but slowly you realise, something not right with residents. What I liked most in this game, is the music. Definetly a high point, really adds to the game, beautiful sounding. An interesting walking simulator. As the player wander with his brother to find the daughter Leila through residents, you might find clues about Cions Of Vega and their actions for the children being recruited, especially the last resident where a plot twist happens, an obvious one. I believe the game is set in the southern US, interpreting the decoration in the residents. ✅ Magnificent landscapes. Really makes you want to go touch some grass. ✅ Short (around one hour to beat, perfect for one evening). ✅ The GOAT plot twist at the end. ✅ The "D" ending is absolute cinema. ❌ Poor optimization. ❌ The controls are a bit clunky. ❌ The "go ahead, I'll wait here" fella is kinda annoying. ❌ Copy-paste kiddos all across the area. Wish I could give it a neutral review, but it is what it is.

I try to find some positives in a game unless it shows an obvious lack of effort. I do think effort was put into this game so I'll extend that courtesy here. I think that the music and landscape are quite lovely. There's some very beautiful moments because of that. However. The story is absolutely ridiculous. The character models don't open their mouths to speak. The dialogue is bizarre. The puzzles are incredibly easy or have absurd premises. I don't understand the logic put forth here at…

Hmm! I just wish a little more effort was put into the game as it could have a been done a little better. The story was in itself not bad but the dialog was a bit corny and for some one going after a missing daughter it was like there was no sense of concern to even put a sense of urgency in the story. It was just like casual talking and quite nonchalant so you could figure something was not right. It is just a basic walking simulator with a few needed actions to get you through the game…

For such a low price, I think this is worth it. The game is beautiful to look at, and surprisingly very stable. The audio is actually quite nice this time around as well, with footstep sounds changing on different terrain and some mild ambient sounds. Cions of Vega is not just a dreamy philosophical tale or poetic interactive novel but delivers good storyline with thrilling atmosphere which holds you in its grip til' the end. Not a bad story. A tad bit predictable, but still moderately interesting. A few gripes: I wish there was more light in the houses (they really don't need to be that creepy; I think that adds to the predictability, if the journey taken is mostly pretty normal it'll make the ending seem more shocking or interesting or however you want it).
