While the aforementioned premise is quite nice and original Dream Chamber sadly squanders it with easy gameplay, uninspired minigames,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Positives: Good production value and a decent visual style. Music creates good atmosphere. Negatives: The puzzles are not really fun, and it suffers from tedious obstacles and "can't do x until y is triggered first, even though I as the player foresee the the reason to". I frequently had trouble finding the hotspot to exit the screen. The minigames are repetitive and tedious. The plot is uninteresting. The only good part was the cliffhanger in the last few seconds, but I doubt we'll…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8.4/10 - You’re NOT Dreaming! This game is a winner! It's a fully voiced Point and Click adventure with an emphasis on the story as opposed to puzzles or finding tons of objects. The story is quite entertaining and the graphics and cut-scenes are really well done! I can't believe more people haven't played this title! Campaign completed in a little under 4 hours; but i'm slow. You are Charlie, a wealthy, amateur detective who recently cracked his first case. By transitioning to a dream state…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a lot of easier than the other adventure games and the story was very short. However the soundtrack and the plot were very original. Controlling the main character was not always working smooth or at least on my computer, although that I doubt the issue was from my pc. Anyway if the game developers decide to continue and release a second part it would be a pleasure to see how the plot continues. I would leave the gamers decide whether to buy this game or not. If you like old…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended for a dollar or two, overall I enjoyed it, it's not a spectacular game but it's not awful either. Pros: Good voice acting, Controls are mostly fine. Music is not bad, nothing too repetitive or annoying. Crisp visuals. Solid story and good characters - unlike many point'n'click adventures. Dream idea is nice but underutilised, I would have liked it to point out when I missed things. I did like the castle & speech persuasion mini-game. Cons: No achievements or trading cards. ...See…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an original and short point&click. But the problem is it's clearly a part of a bigger story but there isn't other episodes, so...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will recomend this if you get it on sale. It is mostly a charming and harmless Noir style point and click. I'm not really a fan of inept heroes that are not specifically funny, just weak on intellect, but it definitely didn't annoy me as much as say... Whispered World. I was plugging along just fine and more or less enjoying it, when towards the end the slealth mini game stood in the way of an otherwise fun experience. Most people play adventure games to get away from the hair pulling,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, it costs almost nothing on sale, but its still a paid demo version of the game that doesn't exist. There are a lot of text and objects to interact with. And almost 2 endings (cause they are not very different) but no. There is no point to start something you won't be able to finish
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love point & click games, but there is no game here. In 30 min play time I clicked maybe 10 times, everything else is just dialogue and animations, none of them interesting enough.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although Dream Chamber is visually polished and has a decent atmospheric soundtrack, I cannot reccomend this game as a "point and click" fan due to the clunky gameplay. It is never obvious what you are clicking on due to the the cursor not reacting to what you hover over. The dialog trees consist of a mini-game which you cannot exit from, even when you know you have got an answer wrong, forcing you to sit through the whole thing (potentially) multiple times. It is also slow moving from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Point & click game is very good from interrogation to puzzles bit short but cliffhanger ending is good. Only thing missing is hint system.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok point and click game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game. Reminds Jack Orlando, but in good sense https://store.steampowered.com/app/253960/Jack_Orlando_Directors_Cut/
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a lovely experience. It's nothing too great, mind you, but it's nice for when you are looking for an old-scool p&c and need a mystery in your free time. I enjoyed it. The puzzles are not that hard, not at all, the environment is good, and the story has a pleasurable flow. The only issue I truly recall in the game is the repetitiveness of challenges. Alos, keep in mind it's a linear story, you cannot really do some stuff before you have finished others. If I could give it a so-so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shocking pnc adventure, give this one a miss As a lover of point and click adventures I try all of them on Steam when I can. This one is quite poorly designed, pretty dull and includes bad voice acting which I can't stand on pnc games, and a really bad user interface. Luckily this was very cheap but I am still going to refund it due to the fact of it being so poor. My Score - 2/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So what to say about this game... I think this game was pretty good. Mainly because of the interesting characters, settings and the - for me - new look and feeling of this adventure. Everything is pretty well drawn* and animated and the voice actors are good, too. Only thing which bothered me, were some broken passages where the voice was shopped of at the end of the sentence. There are some pretty funny references to the big classics like Monkey Island and Day of The Tentacle** and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very unique game, I really like the style of it. This game has some pretty cool puzzles which are really fun and slightly challenging. This game appears to be relatively simple at first but gets a little harder the further your progress into it. A really great game overall, I would recommend getting this game. I would rate it about 9/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun enough, but it ends with an incomplete story.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly a super fun point-and-click game. Love the beautiful but simple design of the game. Music is also great. Suits the gameplay perfectly. I've had a fair amount of fun so far. Check it out!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dream Chamber is a stylized detective adventure that blends classic point-and-click design with a surreal narrative twist, creating an experience that feels both nostalgic and unconventional. Developed by Forge Reply and published by Microids Indie, the game places players in the role of Charlie Chamber, a wealthy art enthusiast whose privileged and carefree lifestyle is interrupted when he becomes entangled in a criminal mystery. Set in a fictionalized version of 1930s America, the game…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One thing I can not abide in a graphic adventure are badly designed finger-twitching puzzles with no way to bypass them. I'm speaking of the harbor episode. Graphic adventures are about taking the time to reason out the solutions, even those whose logic can be somewhat bizarre.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, a little short, but the use of dream-photographic-memory is a lovely twist! The thing that most impressed me about Dream Chamber is all the original jazz and swing music- really catchy and gave the game a very definite mood- and worked beautifully with the art deco styling. A good range of puzzles, easy and hard and an interesting story/case. I especially enojyed the conversations becoming battles where you fire a catapult at a castle- that was unexpected but an entertaining way of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a great deal of less demanding than the other experience recreations and the story was short. However the soundtrack and the plot were extremely unique. Controlling the principle character was not continually living up to expectations smooth or possibly on my PC, in spite of the fact that that I question the issue was from my pc. Anyway if the game engineers choose to proceed with and discharge a second part it would be a joy to perceive how the plot proceeds. I would leave the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad P&C experience considering the 90% discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is in my opinion quite underrated. The art-style is unique and colorful, the dream-mechanic is a great idea and I really enjoyed the tearing-down-the-fortress battle-system. Also the voice actors did a great job. The main character is a naive and friendly rich snob, who is not quite aware of what is happening in the real world, he tries really hard to start smoking but couldn't bring himself to actually do it and knows a lot about botany. While driving between places in town we learn…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terribile sistema di dialoghi. Quando ci si sposta da un posto all'altro c'è sempre un noiosissimo e inutile intermezzo. Il cursore non segnala gli hotspot costringendo a cliccare senza sapere se c'è un'interazione disponibile. Bocciatissimo.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →could have been a lot better with more interesting/funny writing and better interface.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →boring game. got bored really quick. not even worth getting it for free
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a few minigames and they all suck. (This things should not be in point and clicks!) The dream bits are deus ex machina deluxe. It´s a very short game ~ 2 - 3 hours and doesn´t resolve anything. Feels like Episode 1 of an Episodic game. i recommend it ... if in sale or in a bundle
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not really recommended. Story: Meh Minigames: Annoying Repetitive (not much dialog). Short.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my opinion, the voice acting is dull and the script tries to be quirky but it's cringe worthy at best. I think it's a good concept that was left to dry out in the sun. Don't recommend it.
