If you’re a sci-fi, noir, neo-noir, crime, or visual novel fan, chances are you’ll find something to latch onto and get a lot of enjoyment out of the game. It’s full of replayability as well, thanks to multiple endings and a well thought-out story. I would have liked more influence over the story, but that’s just my own preference and I’m sure others will have differing opinions. Regardless, Bionic Heart 2 is an interesting adventure and visual…

The 'social boss fights' were kinda funny but in the end it wasn't anything groundbreaking (which isn't too bad). It's just a similar way to trigger flags. When it comes to art, I definitely saw a big difference. The characters were still drawn quite well but I wasn't able to recognize the same style that was present in the Heileen series and BH1. The art was still quite good though.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a visual novel that will stick in your mind. The price is decidedly high considering that there are no "voices" inside the game, it's just pure reading. Nice graphics, but the story and characters are not engaging.5/10 my vote
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like it but didn't like it. It gives the options for multiple endings like the first one but the mystery that the the first one wasn't there. Sadly wasn't enough that didn't want me to make me to keep replaying to find out more. In everything I enjoy it enough to keep going after 5 hours I would reccomend it to other people if it was on a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bionic Heart 2 is a notable improvement over the original Bionic Heart (which I really disliked), though it still makes a lot of missteps. Every pro in this sequel has a con: * The character art is far more appealing to me (I hated the exaggerated look in the first game), but Luke in particular appears too young considering that the first game says that he's 35. * The writing is better (the first game's dialogue was clunky and amateurish, and rife with typos), but the narrative still suffers…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Also a nice Sci-Fi VN like the first part. In the first moment the graphics seem pretty improved comparing to Bionic Heart 1. Dialogues are now inside the text window. They introduced newly some bossfights (order decision answers) and a new gameplay. Now can progress in the story but have to set about a dozen of savepoints to playthrough all endings. A bit nervy is that you have beat the final endboss for each of the endings. Still a good piece of VN.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an nteresting visual novel which sacrifices the typical genre-obliged light-heartedness setting and "romance options" for a much more mature and grim drama, which is quite refreshing. The games also features a very good soundtrack (which you can find somewhere in the game folder, along a few wallpapers with drawings not used in the game), and good art, far away from the standard VN anime style in most characters. The game is sadly not perfect. The writing could be the mayor issue. It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The social boss fights and multiple perspectives are interesting mechanics, but not worth wading through a dull story full of terrible people whom I couldn't bring myself to care about. At least there's no painfully bad voice acting like the first game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had such high hopes for this game after playing the first Bionic Heart the voice acting and cartoony style characters gave it quite a unique feel compared to most novel games on the market. Sadly the developer has taken a good thing smeared feces all over it like a simian at the Zoo. All the dark humor and wit seemed to be discarded in lieu of now boring mundane characters with no real depth and all their engaging qualities lost in this atrocious game. My tip to the dev: Bring back your…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game was better. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but surely more enjoyable than the sequel. I liked the art style (but sometimes there’s a certain lack of expressions — but that’s more like a pet peeve of mine) and BGM, they were nice. Bionic Heart 2 is way too serious and it becomes boring after some time playing. Even so, I recommend getting this game on a good sale. It has tons of different endings. So if you have some spare money, get BH2. 5/10. I personally didn’t liked this game so…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having somewhat fond remembrances of the first Bionic Heart game (played some time ago), when I came across this sequel on sale for $10, I decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, other than the name, there's not a lot in common. The humor is mostly gone, the characters are very shallow, and the whole concept of "social boss fight" is very contrived. There is a lot of dialog amongst the various endings, but a lot of it is recycled. The art doesn't really match up with the characters. And…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A disappointing follow up. The story jumps off one of the worst endings of the previous title, which doesn't give the narrative much to do. There is no voice acting this time around. The artwork is different and lacking the charm. The first game had 20+ endings that were all quite different; here, it's more like 4 endings with just a few slight variations each. I would say if you enjoyed the first game, just pick which ending you enjoyed best as canon and call it a day. As one who loved the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The level of sophistication in the writing is noteworthy; parallel and intertwining plots told by four POV characters on two planets is quite a feat. Using the skip function to attain more endings, I had some trouble remembering the choices each character made that were the same or different from my already-achieved endings but it was impressive to see the cohesion of the story despite having several plot threads for each path. The more serious tone of this over the prequel was a welcome…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the sequel to the visual novel Bionic Heart. While it continues the spirit of that game... I am not completely pleased with it. There are two plotlines, one on Earth, the other on Mars. Thing is, the one of Earth almost always ends with an act of mass murder. And the one of Mars... well, that isn't much better. Also the two characters I liked most from the first one do some of the worst acts possible. Basically, there are only two (maybe three) storylines where they end up together,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember playing the prequel and man, the artwork has changed completely. I think it became better. Also, the writing has improved. I could understand more the relationships between them characters. Never thought of them as soulless or blank dolls. In my opinion, it was an interesting sequel and the author gave us plenty endings to see how it all turns out in the end. Sometimes it doesn't even matter, because you know your a s s is f u c k e d. Watch your friends die and eat a bag of chips…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a wll-made sequel from one of "Bionic Heart" ending. It raises many questions and explains that Earth climate change matter. It's a feat to write several plots on main characters on 2 planets in parallel. Hence you can replay with different choices for more endings some deadly, Have saves before choices to do them all. From one side you are Luke who’s fled to Mars with his sticky jealous girlfriend and your co-worker Tom. From the other side you are Tanya with a “bionic heart” like…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bionic Heart 2, developed and published by Winter Wolves, continues the science fiction visual novel story set up in the first game while broadening its scope in both narrative structure and character focus. Rather than following a single protagonist, the sequel alternates between four distinct perspectives—Luke, Tom, Tanya, and Tina—each with their own motivations and conflicts. Luke struggles with his feelings for Helen while living under a false identity on Mars, Tom grapples with unspoken…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Adventure - VN - Visual Novel Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Endless superficial banter that sounds juvenile. Logical progression of events is very flawed. Poor dialogue that breaks 4th wall as characters explain out loud their circumstances, sounds artificial. Bionic heart 2 follows up on the original's story. It retraces the events of the main game and then has you play multiple chapters from multiple protagonists viewpoints. Since you account for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never having played the first Bionic Heart, it was a bit difficult getting into the story of the game, but I soon became engrossed with it after two acts. The art and effects are nice, but what's really nice is the writing. The writing is well done, and throughout multiple playthroughs, you get a feel of what each character is like, and there's so many endings that come about through choice that you make that really didn't seem to matter much at that moment. Though I have to say, lots of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A representative of the old school of visual novels. Can't say I'd recommend playing it in 2025. It's already obsolete
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as with the previous game, this is a great non-romantic visual novel. The dialogue battles are tricky but unique.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game isn't that bad :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent sequel. If you liked the first one, you definately need to get this one as well.
