60 of 119 · most liked firstEstimated reading time: 2 minutes, 22 seconds Dizzlepath: Deja Vu is the fourth installment of the Drizzlepath series and at the same time the 10th game developed by Tonguç Bodur; it was created as an homage to his first game, Drizzlepath. All the titles from the series belong to the same genre (walking simulator) and contain some common elements, but they can be played irrespectively of each other, since each of the games has a standalone story. However, playing Drizzlepath and Drizzlepath:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another Walking Simulator. Not to long, with a few good places, if you check every corner for secrets maybe find something special. Good for Achievement Hunters
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although Déjá Vu is the 4th instalment of the Drizzlepath series it is actually a sort of remake of the very first episode. I'm going to focus on only the changes below. Key features: The game was redone with the use of the latest Unreal engine (4th). I had performance issues with the predecessor due to its CryEngine background. I am happy to say that Deja Vu not only runs better but it looks way more beautiful. If replaying a relaxing walking sim to take new screenshots is not enough…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Drizzlepath: Deja vu is a pure walking simulator. There is literally nothing else to do but walking the straight path from the starting point to where the simulator ends. From time to time, a woman cites some philosophical musings through a voice over. I wasn't overly impressed by the content of these statements, but at least the woman had a pleasant voice. The sights you'll see during your simulated one-hour walk are sometimes genuinely beautiful, but not to the extent they're interesting…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bunch of random assets scattered throughout the map ✅ Story that makes you fall asleep ✅ E-girl hired for narration ✅ Walking ✅ Now that's a Tonguç Bodur game everybody likes!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Drizzlepath: Deja VuI'm suspicious to say, but like most games made by Tonguç Bodur this one has beautiful graphics, a good presentation/atmosphere and it's actually a "trip" experience, I would say. and as a fan of the style I definitely recommend it, but don't expect a great adventure, or things like that, it's basically a walking simulator and because it's a cheap game, (it's like I said, a contemplation experience place...) is worth every penny. especially if bought on sale, as was my case!…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played previous game of Tonguc Bodur and I have to admit, he is stepping up his game with every new release. Frankly, the first games bored me as there were no fancy sceneries, only the same, repetitive forest and mountain grounds spread in the whole map, while walking miles along the monotonous landscape. The newer games are an eye-candy, as the worlds are beautifully crafted and have a great focus on small details. You will still walk a lot, yet not get bored of it, since you will…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright. Drizzlepath: Deja Vu is done and dusted. This is described as a 'spiritual revisitation' of Drizzlepath, and I'd say that is accurate. It's a much faster game to complete, weighing in at one hour in length, and you can't really wander off the path like you could in Drizzlepath. In fact, this is something the narrator mentions at one point, lol. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3282691817 The narration itself was very well done. The voice actress for this game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short walking simulator, very beautiful landscapes and pleasant soundtrack. Very simple achievements to take
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello all. I rarely write reviews unless I really like a game. I have severe arth. that makes typing difficult. No more whining. On to the game. I have played every game from this author starting with Drizzlepath. I still enjoy replaying all of these games because they are very well done and I find them quite relaxing. The art and animation is top notch. I thought the scenery in this game was outstanding! It appears to place the player hundreds or even a thousand years in the future.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it was only $3.99 or i would be unhappy. nothing to do but walk and find the path to the end. practically no interaction with the environment or objects, just some narrative about life lessons, life meanings, all of which were good, but it wasnt' enough to justify calling it a game. the scenery was good but don't hold your breath waiting for something to happen cause it doesn't. and same for the ending....no big life revelation and disappointing. so if you want to walk around for a few hours…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A true artist! Some of the best lighting and music I have witnessed in a game! I love the narration also. They leave me wanting more but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Price is too low for this kind of work. Cant wait for the next one!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Drizzlepath: Deja Vu is a very pretty walking simulator, made by Tonguç Bodur. If you are familiar with his other games, you will find it to be familiar, but it does have some twists. For newcomers to the series or walking simulators in general, the plastyle is exactly what it sounds like, you just walk, but the point is what you see and experience while you walk. You can expect to be taken through a dream-like sequence of connected but changing scenes, with narrative guiding the trip.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played a couple of Ragnor's games (Nephise Ascenion and Bottle: Pilgrim) and enjoyed both. Drizzlepath: Deja Vu is a pure walking simulator with exceptionally beautiful scenery and a pleasing sound track, Instead of a character based story, it is an introspective (and at times, surreal) journey with visual metaphors and some thoughtful reflections on this adventure we call life. It is a short (about an hour) but very pleasant trip!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played Drizzlepath: Deja Vu the day after revisiting the original Drizzlepath so I could fairly compare, and I will say, this entry in the series carries over just about none of the charm of the first game. First, I'll touch on the improvements that were made, in all fairness to our friend Tongue Boner. 1. Subtitles. 2. The background mountain shapes are more realistic, as are the textures. 3. Auto-walk. 4. I guess there are people out there who can't run Cryengine games, and in that regard…

Sadly it's really short. Worth checking out as a walking sim fan, if you can get it on sale for like two bucks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's all right, meh yeah. Achievements were glitched for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A 30 minute walk through the woods while a lady praddles on about some stuff in an an attempt to be philosophical. If you're into walking simulators, this might be your thing. I'd say as a walking simulator it does a decent job. The graphics are nice, the music is occasionally fitting, and the narrators voice is soothing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not really sure what to think of this. I ended up getting the whole series of games through sales. It was relaxing but at times a bit boring. Pretty visuals but a bit choppy. Nice music, and faily easy to score a perfect game if you're looking for more of those. I think it would be better in VR! But if you need to chill out, it's a nice easy game for that
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey @polykillpodcast.bsky.social I #justbeatit Drizzlepath. This walking sim is a glorified screensaver. I mostly pressed W and moved my mouse a little bit. Not a great game but it was pretty to look at and allowed me to get in a few matches in Pokemon Pocket. Finally completed my Potomax square!

This developer is known for making short, low-effort walking simulators. This one is the same as many of his previous ones: you walk along a path through some beautiful but quickly repetitive environments, and every so often a narrator ponders some philosophical musings. There's no storyline or gameplay. If you've tried his previous games and enjoyed them, you'll…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute Snore Fest This has to be by far one of the most boring games I have ever played. There is absolutely no reason to play this. I'm a huge fan of walking simulators but this game is just a waste of 45 minutes. All you can do is walk in a straight line through the woods and every once in a while some narration will play. This narration is the equivalent of stuff you'd see on r/im13andthisisdeep except instead of laughing at how cringe it is you instead are reminded that you paid money…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful graphics, that is all I have to say. The game itself is really boring, no objects to interact with and no story. There is a female voice which shares thoughts of your character through the game but it does not give any kind of sense to the gameplay itself. I've played the whole game just to see what happens in the end but I got disappointed (won't spoil in case somebody still wants to play it) There are a couple things happening in game: a man running, animals (alive and dead) and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful and thoughtful relaxing experience, recommended for those who'd want something like that :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I generally like walking sims if they provide some nice story with twists or at least some interesting plot. If this game was a book it would have 4 pages (well maybe 5). Graphics are good, narrative builds the ahtmosphere nicely and then ends all of a sudden. This game had a huge potential as we walk with protagonist through this mysterious world wondering "is it Earth? is it post-appocalypse? Is it 6453AD? Boom! "The End" with one simplest answer you can think off to explain everything you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe this is the better walking sims by Bodur; by the way it's too similar to Dear Esther. It's an existential reflection about our life; it's full of pleasant visual symbolisms and metaphors well depicted by good graphics and commented by nice soundtrack. However it remains on the surface, it cannot dig deeper; it's too didascalic, just as the "cold" voice over. The whole experience lacks of pathos, romanticism, elegy and poetry, it cannot build the same emotions and immersion as the original…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a game, this is not it. If you are like me and love a walk in a park with stunning scenery and occasional surprises, read on. The graphics are amazing and very realistic with wind moving flowers and clouds, and variations of environments. Don't rush through, just enjoy the walk through valleys and mountains. The direction for travel is mostly marked by occasional swarms of butterflies, lanterns, and restrictions side-to-side. Occasional animals frolic about. It is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If an automatic walk button (that's actually useful) and pseudo philosophy does it for you, then you’ll enjoy being immersed the stunning visuals that this title offers. But that’s about as deep as it gets. Your passage through the world is a single path, with little in the way of diversion to explore. Ladders to vantage points are unclimbable, apparent side corners go nowhere. You truly are on the straight and narrow. It’s evident that a lot of effort went into this from the creator, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know what it is that made me so mad when playing this but I have decided I am never buying an asset flip walking sim again (no matter how easy the achievements). The dialogue was so painfully annoying I muted it a short way in and it works better when just left with your own thoughts.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice walk through the woods
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good. Short. 45min. Autowalk and run. Eventhough running speed is more like a walking speed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hauntingly beautiful and very deep. It may seem that you are just walking among beautiful landscapes, but in reality you are experiencing someone else's life. It is indeed a journey of betrayal, loneliness, darkness but also beauty, hope and grace, all of them depicted through various symbols around you. A true human life, not so very different from our own!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The fragility and circles of memory as well as the paradoxical beauty and strength of the mind. I don't know if it was intentional but the middle path spoken about in the second game felt ever present.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I received a 50% off voucher for this, it runs on Unreal engine and looks pretty so I thought why not. This is one of the shortest easiest game you could imagine. It will calm you down and de-stress you if you need it. (or it may just bore you, depending on your point of view, it has very little action) Basically you walk through pretty landscapes with soothing music and a calm narrator's voice. You look around to find and inspect things, chase birds away, etc... 71 minutes later the game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was neat, I enjoyed walking through it, and the narration was beautiful. It pulled me into the world, and I relaxed for nearly an hour whilst playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't expect this game to have such a profound narration while experiencing this masterpiece along with beautiful atmospheric scenery. Got me pondering about our existence as a whole... Perhaps it's worth giving a try, but definitely not a type of game for everyone which is understandable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful gaming experience peppered with moments of frisson. Gorgeous music accompanies a philosophical and poetic narrative. If you're a fan of walking sims, I highly recommend this lovely game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely got me thinking. This game had some very high quality visuals and amazing scenery. I also thought most of the quotes where also well made, and although sometimes the game got a bit abstract i did find it interesting the entire way through. My only annoyance is the length (1-2 hours) to price (4$). Since I feel that every dollar spent on a game should equal one hour of playtime. Regardless though. There was clearly a ton of effort put into every little bit of the game, even the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't really know why I bothered to finish it. Perhaps it's better in VR...? This game is basically a walk through nature simulator, with some cheap fortune cookie philosophy sprinkled here and there, some nice visuals (but nothing that blew me away or anything), some disturbing moments (dead animals, dead bodies, etc), and not much else. The map is huge, but there's very little to actually find, so if you like to explore games (like me), you'll most likely feel like you wasted your time…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like Deja Vu but it just struggles to run on my PC. I can tell there is quality to be had here but it feels quite poorly optimised. I can run the latest AAA games just fine and my system far exceeds the recommended settings but Drizzlepath: Deja Vu turns my PC into a wind turbine, and turning the graphical settings down takes away from the appeal of this game in which all there is to do is walk around and look at things. This is a walking simulator through and through, there's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a PHENOMENAL game that is more than worth its price tag. While potentially a tad short, it is chock full of gorgeous visuals, fantastic music, and lots of deep pontifications. I highly recommend this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of improvement have been made in this one (compared to the first game). I enjoyed a lot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok so I did this walk (game is such a misnomer for these kinds of walking simulators) right after I had done the original Drizzlepath walk. Therefore I can immediately compare the two. This one is better. Substantially better. The story was still a bit of a fever dream, but more coherent than the original. Switching to Unreal from CryoEngine seemed to improve things quite a bit too. The scenery was much better (even when it was "worse" (you'll see what I mean)), and the world was a little…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most pretentious walking simulators I've had the misfortune to play. Interesting visuals here and there, but devoid of any meaning. Convenient chest-high walls everywhere so the player can't approach any of it. A voice over with some desperate attempts at deep philosophical statements that go absolutely nowhere. Sound design that seems to consist only of stock effects. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like this game for its atmosphere. Beautiful landscapes, nice soundtracks. I've spent couple of hours like really walking through the woods and mountains. Quite enjoyable game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a simple walking simulator with very beautiful graphics and with very meaningful life lessons along the way.. i wish my inner voice was like this.. constantly reminding me about life's principles
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful, short and relaxing walking simulator.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nica and relaxing walking simulator with nice views and interesting animal (and weirdo) encounters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this with a coupon so I decided to try it out. I dislike pure walking sims, so these games aren't for me. However, I found it more entertaining than Dear Esther. It has better graphics and there were some very pretty parts. One part, for instance, reminded me a bit of Thomas Kincade paintings because of the way the light was handled. There is also a weird horror segment that surprised me. I love horror, so that was a nice addition. The narrator is still ignorable like the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a pretty walking simulator. The poetry is pretty pretentious but the sights are worth it. Would almost recommend you just put on a soothing playlist and mute the in game music and dialogue.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game with awesome story and motivational exploration. The journey is soothing and the voice is pleasantly soft and nice. Definitely recommended if you are a fan of exploration!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're like me and a walking simulator beginner, this game is for you. It is immersive and the achievements are very easy and quick.

I originally bought it on Console and decided to buy a PC version so I could play it while travelling, not because I can't do it with a PS5 but a laptop is easier to carry around. xD Anyway if you are a walking simulator fan you should definitely buy this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The world of Drizzlepath: Deja Vu is breathtakingly and the music is simply gorgeous. The emotional story will stay with you for days. This is a must-play for anyone who loves atmospheric games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking at this then you've probably played some of Tonguç Bodur's other games and know what to expect: simple walking simulators using many 3rd-party 3D assets, sounds, and music, with some god-awful and poorly written pseudo-philosophical ramblings narrated on top. Some are their games are worse than others. This one is pretty much average. It's thankfully not too long and not too burdened with the voice-over. Overall, it's quite polished and it's clear that the dev has become…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful and weird walking sim with lots of little (and huge) details.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest this is the first game I played of this series. I loved the look of it and loved the photos and description of it that I had to play it for myself. It is a well put together game and beautiful. I will say it is just walking/somewhat running/ nothing more nothing less. It is a short game barely an hour at most. I do recommend this game to those who are interested and to achievement hunters (it is really easy to obtain all three achievements), HOWEVER I can only recommend it if it is…
