unlabelledView post →Some fascinating prescience in IGN’s 2002 review of Divine Divinity (Larian’s first RPG)
unlabelledView post →you can't just call a game Divine Divinity. if you ask me. that shouldn't have been something that happened
unlabelledView post →I found this bizarre demonic flesh gate from a still of Larian's Divine Divinity and I am obsessed with it. Despite how indulgently generic in terms of famtasy is, it makes their more bizarre aeathetic elements stand out more. The Diablo fusion with Ultima VII was a pretty delightful call for a game
unlabelledView post →Divine Divinity may have a silly name, but it's a really fun game that's still worth a play, and not just as "wow look how far Larian has come". Diablo style combat and dungeon crawling with open world RPG gameplay packed with weird, fun quests and creativity.

unlabelledView post →I started playing Divine Divinity as well. I honestly had no idea that the combat played like an ARPG, almost similar to Diablo 2, but with deeper RPG elements like choices in conversations etc. The writing is really funny at times, which I love. Wonder how the new game will compare in tone.
unlabelledView post →I've played the shit out of every Larian game since Divine Divinity...I was not happy about this.
unlabelledView post →Just finished Mass Effect and that was a lot of fun (other than driving that feckin Mako)! I don't know why I waited so long to play it. Now I can concentrate on Divine Divinity, my Cyberpunk replay, Monkey Island, and not starting another game... hopefully. 😂
unlabelledView post →#gamer Giving up on Divine Divinity for now. I like the ideas, it's not terrible, but it's difficult and a bit too reliant on random luck. Going to sit down and actually play all the way through Neverwinter Nights this time. I swear. Pinky promise. questlog.app/games/neverw...
unlabelledView post →High on cough medicine, feeling depressed and miserable. Booting up maybe the worst named game since Divine Divinity because people insisted it's good, and it was on sale. Metaphor: ReFantazio
unlabelledView post →Playing Beyond Divinity again and on one hand I can see how we got to Baldur's Gate 3, but on the other I can also see why it rates a bit lower than Divine Divinity did (and that game was already peak post-Diablo eurojank)
unlabelledView post →Divine Divinity holds surprisingly well imo, never would imagine it was closer to an Ultima game (but it makes sense). Still gotta play the "most recent" Ultima games, only played the DOS port for the first one until today and found it to be a really charming piece of history.
unlabelledView post →I remember posting on the Larian boards in 2002 when Divine Divinity came out. I said that game made me wonder what Ultima IX might have been. Little did I know that 24 years later I’d still be playing Larian games and loving them just as much! Much love ~ and can’t wait to hear the album! 🖤
unlabelledView post →There's this game I literally never heard of until now that is in that very small Divine Divinity/Nox niche: www.gog.com/en/game/here... Probably not as good as either but mentioning it for the record lol
unlabelledView post →Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity and Divinity II First 2 looks like my kind of game - isometric action RPGs, 3rd was in a bundle. I was about to start Divine Divinity now, but got sidetracked and didn't.
unlabelledView post →I can’t change my nature, apparently, so when I get home this afternoon I’ll be starting a second game: either Divine Divinity or Deus Ex (with the GMDX mod).
unlabelledView post →Gonna repost what I said elsewhere: Divine Divinity is a game you can easily play in Current Year, just grab a GameFAQs guide from circa 2003 for onboarding and those few obtuse sections. Beyond Divinity is a game for which you read the development post-mortem articles recapping what went wrong.
unlabelledView post →Diving into Divine Divinity! I've been wanting to check out the Divinity series from the beginning for a while, and that announcement at the game awards was the final push for my interest I had originally planned to play this on my own time to avoid old game jank on stream, but fuck it we ball
unlabelledView post →Divine Divinity looks very sharp and nice for a game released in 2002. Look at that water reflection!
unlabelledView post →Just to add that it's not Original Sin 3 but that doesn't stop it being another Divinity game. Maybe a remake/reboot of Divine Divinity (and Beyond Divinity) because it's an old game and clunky with bugs. It'd make sense to remake it and finally get a proper Beyond Divinity, too.
unlabelledView post →Divine Divinity, the first game in the series and, I believe, the first game from @larianstudios.com Described as a cross between Diablo and Baldur’s Gate, this game was a blast. Anyone have any memories of this one??
unlabelledView post →I love Larian's games! Divine Divinity was one of the first games I ever owned, and I kept up with Larian's games since. That same year I also got Morrowind and the Battle, net war chest, but I haven't bought a Blizzard or Bethesda game in years
unlabelledView post →1. Divine Divinity: my first playthrough was shockingly smooth. This 2nd one was rough, w/multiple nearly game-breaking bugs. Beneath that it's a fun but unfinished game situated halfway between Baldur's Gate and Diablo. Killer music, shame it falls apart at the end.
unlabelledView post →aaaaaaa i finally beat the og Divine Divinity! Pretty good game, though i wish some bosses (like josephine and iona) didnt force you to make a specific build or cheese them in order to win. Anyways! Hell yea! Can't wait to play the 2nd game!
unlabelledView post →The Winds of Aleroth are blowing again. After completing #divinityOS2 for the 2nd time, I had a longing to visit the small healer community of the first #divinity game #divinedivinity anew. Graphic holds up pretty well, Pokrovsky's soundtrack is amazing, the story is quite non-linear. Looking back, I wonder why people preferred Diablo II over this (and I love D2). #gaming #videogames
unlabelledView post →It's TODAY. Shrimpathon starts today, and lasts all of this month. We're beginning with Divine Divinity, the game that started it all! In 3 hours!🔗👇
unlabelledView post →Absolutely intolerable to me is the GAME itself exaggerating how weak my character is when I'm legit JUST STARTING the game through insults. I was going to play Divine Divinity and you get your Strength stat telling your warrior "Don't be a Warrior" Actually fuck off, Larian.
unlabelledView post →Oh yeah. Definitely the era of gaming where mouse was the primary way for controls. Some games also just have aged way worse than others so I'm always a bit hesitant to try a new old game. Anyways, I downloaded the Divine Divinity (& noticed I have apparently all Divinity games in my Steam Library😅)
unlabelledView post →Divine Divinity also takes a title for one of the most ridiculous video game names of all time.
unlabelledView post →New video is done and uploaded. It's on Divine Divinity, Larian Studio's 2002 action RPG, a flawed but still very fun (and at time funNY) game, which has been overshadowed by the more recent Original Sin games. youtu.be/IsaPRfYGVdY
unlabelledView post →While most, after that gruesome trailer, are looking to play the Divinity: Original Sin games, I am instead looking to the original and awkwardly-titled Divine Divinity. Cause I'm old and I like old games. 😊 store.steampowered.com/app/214170/D...
unlabelledView post →technically speaking, Larian never made a game that was JUST called "Divinity". they made Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity 2, Divinity Dragon Commander, Divinity Original Sin and Divinity Original Sin 2
unlabelledView post →The first game (Divine Divinity) and Divinity II were action RPGs, but they kind of got forced into making them so by their publisher (who also didn't want a game called just Divinity for some reason) so I would be surprised if they went an action route. Their passion seems to be turn based.
unlabelledView post →I’d forgotten the first Divinity game is called “Divine Divinity” Which is like. Absolutely sort of a stupid name But I DO also like it a lot
unlabelledView post →Didn't super help lol. But I did look it up and the first Divinity game was technically called Divine Divinity, followed by Beyond Divinity and Divinity 2. Original Sin being a prequel and OS 2 also being a sequel. So you see why Im confused.
unlabelledView post →Divinity existed before Original Sin is what I mean. Divine Divinity was the first game, an action RPG, then its sequel Beyond Divinity. There's also Divinity: Dragon Commander, which is an RTS. I'm just unsure if this is Original Sin 3 or a new game in the Divinity universe.
unlabelledView post →I feel like if I discovered this game in 8th grade it would have fully consumed me for a year and a half. Instead that was Divine Divinity and Dark Age of Camelot. lol
unlabelledView post →Peter you need to play Divine Divinity, the first game in the Divinity series, which is still absolutely riddled with game-breaking bugs 23 years after release, but it's "what if Diablo was actually an RPG" and it's filled with mad genius Peter.
unlabelledView post →oh! what ARPGs do you like? lately we have been playing the ORIGINAL Divinity game, Divine Divinity which is old but its pretty cool, except the repair skill is funky and totally useless unless you have at least level 2 or 3 pff lol
unlabelledView post →In the previous game, Divine Divinity, there was a bug that started with some indoor textures (& most outdoor textures at night) being totally black. Then, some textures would be rainbow colored. Then almost the whole game would be an inky void. Rebooting my computer was the only thing that worked.
unlabelledView post →I can definitely see it. I think I'm gonna try their year 2000 Divine Divinity game and see how I feel about this genealogy.
unlabelledView post →Is Divine Divinity a great game? No! Do I love it regardless? Yes, absolutely!
unlabelledView post →Metaphor: Refantazio is the dumbest game name since Divine Divinity.
unlabelledView post →On the contrary I think we should compare. That's the only way to raise the bar! And I think we were pretty lucky these past couple of years in terms of quality games in that genre. The Divine Divinity Original Sins, The Pillars of Eternity, the Pathfinders... Can't wait to see Larian's next game!!
unlabelledView post →I have the 2002 Divine Divinity game in my steam library! It's really good.
unlabelledView post →I think Torchlight is the only Diablo-style game I've actually played all the way through. It felt more streamlined and less tedious than others I bounced off of like Divine Divinity, Titans Quest or Grim Dawn.
unlabelledView post →I keep seeing people claim that Baldur's Gate 3 is an indie game. I've been a fan of Larian Studios since Divine Divinity, but I believe they have 400+ employees and offices in multiple countries. If that counts as indie, then indie is no longer a useful term.
unlabelledView post →Interesting to find that the Male fighter's armor is about as useless as the Female fighter's armor. From Divine Divinity - first game made by Larian Studios (maker of Baulders Gate 3)
unlabelledView post →Played Divine Divinity for around 20 hours now and can confidently say that anyone who enjoys an RPG should give the game a try. @larianstudios.com knows what they're doing #gaming #rpg
unlabelledView post →First working stream back and I had fun :3 Divine Divinity is definitely an interesting game so I think I'll continue streaming it bc the writing is quite funny even if the combat isn't the most exciting to watch o7
unlabelledView post →@larianstudios.com I made a ceramic tray of the Divine Divinity map of Rivellon in community college! It combines a couple of techniques, but mostly sgraffito. I played through the older Divinity games more recently after the Game Awards trailer. Midfire white clay with colored slip.
unlabelledView post →Not really sure who to tell this to but today I finished Larian Studios' Divine Divinity, the 2002 game that sparked the entire Divinity series. Yay. #videogames #larian #divinity #oldgames

unlabelledView post →Given there is a canon PC shown in the opening cinematic of Divine Divinity, there’s a temptation to restart the game and play as that character.
unlabelledView post →I’m leaning towards Divine Divinity as I’ve not played that before and I’m kind of feeling in the mood for a Larian game.

unlabelledView post →I've started playing Divine Divinity from 2002. DD is a Diagonal 2D game from the old mold. You sometimes run into enemies that are way too strong, but the fun part is how to circumvent or overcome those issues... and at some point, suddenly these types of enemies don't feel es tough to you anymore.
