Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt. I avoided Cyberpunk 2077 for a long time because of the launch reputation, but playing it now (post–Update 2.0/2.2) it honestly feels like the game it was always trying to be. The big systems overhaul in Update 2.0 (perks/skill trees, cyberware, etc.) makes builds way more fun and the moment-to-moment gameplay a lot tighter. And Update 2.2 adds extra customization and quality-of-life stuff that just makes the whole vibe better. What I liked: Night City is insane — the atmosphere, visuals,…

I finished Cyberpunk 2077 yesterday. This isn't a review from someone who's 10 hours in. This is my take after the credits rolled and I had a day to sit with it. I bought this game back in June 2023. It sat in my Steam library until July 2026 before I finally gave it a chance. I'm glad I waited. This feels like the version CD Projekt Red always wanted us to play. Everyone will tell you the graphics are beautiful. They are. Everyone will tell you the combat is fun. It is. Everyone will…

Cyberpunk 2077 is not really about becoming the best mercenary in Night City. It is about personhood under siege. It is science fiction, but only by degree. People are already flattened into profiles, performances, labour value, social image, sexual currency, and marketable identity. Cyberpunk 2077 just pushes that process until it becomes impossible to ignore. Its cruelest idea is simple: you are born hoping to become someone real, and the world immediately starts negotiating what parts of…

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most insane redemption arcs in gaming. Period. A stunning game that, in my opinion, is practically perfect in every way, be it gameplay or story. Much respect to the devs for not giving up because the criticism after a disastrous launch, for they instead managed to pull themselves together and essentially rebuilt the game, making it not only playable, but also pretty damn good at that. I'd say its solid 9/10 without Panam and 9.5/10 with Panam. Also Phantom Liberty is quite possibly the best DLC I've seen in a video game and its end credits are arguably the best end credits I've seen in a video game. Jokes aside we need a Panam 3rd person shooter spin-off or something like that.

I started playing Cyberpunk 2077 expecting a stylish futuristic RPG with a good story and lots of action. And while it definitely delivers on those things, what surprised me the most was how much the game makes you think about your choices. In many games, decisions feel simple. You usually know which option is the “good” one and which one is the “bad” one. In Cyberpunk 2077 it rarely works like that. A lot of the time you read the dialogue options and honestly don’t know what the best decision…

This is one of the best story game i've ever played. it took me around 35-40 hours to get 2 endings from the one save with more than half of the side missons not done which I plan to do while getting to another ending. Also I still havent touched DLC yet so it can get to 100h+ gameplay time easily. The fighting feels really good and rewarding, side missions are fun, acting is S+ tier, almost like watching a good movie.
