unlabelledView post →It's the Spring Sale on Steam! Demonschool is 20% off!!! You should please buy it if you have not. It's no exaggeration to say the more people buy the game, the more we'll be able to do with it in the future. So tell your friends as well! store.steampowered.com/app/1900250/...
unlabelledView post →This is proving to be a popular sentiment, so if you want to play a game that was 100% made by human beings, check out Demonschool. (it is an RPG with puzzle-y tactical battles, so make sure you like that kind of thing first) store.steampowered.com/app/1900250/...

Especially that soundtrack! store.steampowered.com/app/1900250/...

unlabelledView post →Why delay a game that’s nothing like Silksong to avoid its surprise release? Because for indies, there’s just too much riding on each individual launch to chance it. Demonschool creative director @brandon.insertcredit.com explains:
unlabelledView post →Demonschool is more spooky than scary but two young ladies who played the game at the Tokyo Game Show SCREAMED when they saw this happen in the demo, dropped the controller, and ran away apologizing.
unlabelledView post →*self-promo time* Turns out I translated this huge RPG called Demonschool into LATAM Spanish??? And I'm looking for more work??? Poured tons of love into translating Demonschool and I would love to do the same for your game!
unlabelledView post →I think delaying was the right call, and I hope Demonschool has a great launch, so everyone maybe share and wishlist the game?
unlabelledView post →I think Demonschool is a good video game but I think Brandon’s approach to how staff worked together and were credited REALLY deserves a lot of attention. Video game crediting is a stupid black box and transparency will help average people understand these roles.

unlabelledView post →Gonna vouch for Demonschool again, it's a game made by people mad enough to include a reference to Moontrap; you can have the characters rent a copy of the movie from a dodgy guy in a van to review for their school paper. That and the soundtrack is pure Giallo worship.
unlabelledView post →Our Demonschool demo is 2-3 hours long and hundreds have played it - yet nobody has mentioned the lack of leveling. Instead the game gives grades (for currency/feedback) and techniques (for modifying characters). We wanted a small-number RPG and leveling didn't fit that. And nobody seems to miss it?

unlabelledView post →1. Demonschool - 3rd of September Indie RPG with turn based combat, love the art style on this one, looks terrific. Looks like the kinda game that would play great on the steam deck too.
unlabelledView post →Althought i didn't played the game alot yet, for now i'll give it a positive review, but it has flaws. The combat system looks interesting and the graphics are great, however i need to say that this game suffers the same issue Hundred Line and Valkyria Chronicles 1 had, and even worse. This isn't a strategy rpg, is a puzzle rpg game. Every battle you encounter has a turn limit in case you want to reach 3 stars, AKA, the maximum rank in the combat, if you didn't win on the turn limit, you will…

Your requests have been (partially) answered! (note: this is an old trailer - it is not "out now" on PlayStation Mobile)
unlabelledView post →We sold a lot of copies over the weekend, which is great! But when you sell a game at a discount, your rating/score inevitably goes down. So if you played and liked Demonschool, please remember to leave a review! Also, the game is still on sale for 4 more days if you haven't grabbed it yet!!!
unlabelledView post →One thing we've really enjoyed as a team is seeing that people are not just buying but *actually playing* Demonschool. It's had active players every single day (which we can see in the steam backend) from launch through to now, 6 months out from release. Pretty good for a single player game!

unlabelledView post →It's the last day of the spring sale, and thus the last day to get Demonschool for 20% off (including the artbook and design book DLC, which is actually closer to a making-of!). If you like puzzley tactics this game is (hopefully) for you.
unlabelledView post →Be aware: This is essentially a puzzle game. You are using characters with different abilities (and many characters don't do damage -- they only buff or rearrange enemies) to line enemies up to be defeated all at once. You get rewarded on how few rounds of moves it takes for you to do this. You even need to defeat batches of enemies to make others appear so that you can defeat them all in time. As long as you are aware that it is a puzzle game, it is brilliant. The story is a little goofy,…

unlabelledView post →Big fan of whenever you can feel the authors' weird extremely specific interests coming through a game, loud and clear. Also a big fan of something that feels like Into The Breach through the lens of someone who had a real good time playing every Nintendo DS RPG ever made. Necrosoft put together a really generous thing here. Expect something a little goofy and a little exuberantly campy and you'll have a real gosh darn good time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's hard to play Demonschool and not notice every minute design consideration in the combat. They made a tactics system as expressive as any Matsuno game without any stats, levels, or XP. It's like, what if chess was good. Pulling off a rube goldberg action phase in this game feels transcendent.

unlabelledView post →So, what's Demonschool? I would describe it as a Persona-inspired turn-based tactics game where combat is more about positioning and using your teammates' skills in tandem to deal with demons, but the combat plays out more like a puzzle in the vein of Into The Breach or Tactical Breach Wizards.
unlabelledView post →I usually wait til I've played more before reviewing games but I just talked to an NPC who said "Hold me closer." I looked at the top of his speech bubble and it said his name was Tiny Gangster. 10/10 Will obsessively talk to every NPC from now on.

unlabelledView post →Very odd experience with this game. I'm invested enough to see it through to the end I think, but the game is very, VERY poorly balanced. Not in terms of difficulty, but the game itself is 75% combat, 25% everything else which wouldn't be so bad if the combat wasn't repetitive and somewhat boring. The art is stellar, the music is great, the aesthetic, vibe, and concept are all incredible. It had the potential to be a Persona 2 inspired hit. But the writing is pretty . . . abysmal. It tries to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello - we're delaying Demonschool until the start of 2025. This was not our first choice, but we had to do it for the game. unlabelledView post →That's a wrap on Demonschool! I really enjoyed it. Combat is quite fun (a few fights that drove me nuts notwithstanding) and I loved the characters and story and all the gayness and lady smooching I did. The sheer volume of fights toward the end wore me out a little but overall it was a great time!

unlabelledView post →I like this game, but I wish I loved it. Weak writing and some gameplay issues betray the stellar graphics, bumping OST, and fun tactical combat with incredible boss fights. Honestly, Demonschool leaves a terrible first impression--the earliest parts of the game are particularly rote, with sidequests like "Find a guy's sandwich," and they don't get much better from there. In terms of characters, I quite enjoyed Faye's manic positivity and Namako's sharp uncertainty. Our protagonists are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is less of a full review and more of a list of pointers to help you decide if the game is for you or not: - Gameplay is split between a very simple "school life" part where you talk to NPCs and get new skills and passive buffs and the combat itself. These two aspects are well balanced and they switch up often enough that i was never bored with either one. - Combat is a lot of fun, if you've played Tactical Breach Wizards it's surprisingly similar in that each fight is less about…
