unlabelledView post →Runs at 800+ fps with Unlimited fps and vsync off so it seems optimized, however more importantly, ZEUS, BRAVELY SECOND REMASTER ON STEAM AND MY WALLET IS YOURS Edit: Okay fair warning, I thought I was "the guy" and chose hard mode, don't do this unless you have a plan of how you want to play the game from the start, its pretty damn brutal and I had to change difficulty after chapter 3 just to enjoy the game. Good ass game tho

I just looked it up and it’s saying there’s 24 jobs in total. Holy shit. That’s way more than I thought there was. I’m really loving this game. ❤️

I’m having a complete blast with it. I’ve never played the original game, so this one is completely new to me.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster is a Switch 2 launch title. JRPGs right from the start makes me happy.
unlabelledView post →Some physical Switch 2 versions are listed as "Game Key Cart", which means they don't include the full game on the cartridge. Examples of this are Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Street Fighter 6 and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster.
unlabelledView post →I give this game the highest honour I can bestow: I played it in bed on my Steam Deck instead of watching videos before I go to sleep.

unlabelledView post →I cant believe they decided to shadow drop one of my all time favorite games on a random Thursday. I put in maybe 500 hours into the 3DS version, and maybe a hundred more into Bravely Second. Its hilarious how SquareEnix decided to publish a game by former classic final fantasy developers who made a better classic final fantasy game. I look forward to breaking the game once again and defeating the final boss in a single cycle. Now please let me buy the soundtrack.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've already played this game like 10 times and it's my favorite JRPG ever. I just bought this to fund another game with Edea in it. This port appears to be very good though. As the other reviews have noted if you do not cap your fps you will have 100% gpu usage and have 999 fps.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just made it to chapter 5 in Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster and all I can say without spoilers is:

unlabelledView post →Just hit chapter 4 in Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster and my entire party is LVL 60 with a lot of new jobs to boot and a lot of them leveled up pretty well with some very good gear. I’m still really loving this game 70+ hours in. ❤️🥰😍🎮🫶🏻 Can’t wait to get every single job in the game!
unlabelledView post →Runs great, but I'll warn you to set an FPS limit on the game otherwise it'll run at 1k+ fps and use every drop of GPU power you have. Beyond that, it's a port of a 3DS game, and it's only been upscaled, so don't expect high fidelity. The intro price of $30 is well worth it, and even at $40 if you are a JRPG fan.

unlabelledView post →I’m now 90+ hours into Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster & it’s still been a blast. The last job I got shocked me NGL. So far imo this one has better jobs than Bravely Default II. I got the airship in chapter 4 & we all know in a JRPG that’s a game changer so I can go wherever I want/explore.
unlabelledView post →"You are as beautiful as the day I lost you" I have played this game since release date, and held off getting a Switch 2 for the sole reason of maybe one day this game will be on PC, and now it is. This is without a doubt one of the best JRPGs ever made and one of the best games ever made in the last decade, if you like JRPGs, play this game, if you like job systems, play this game, if you like Music, play this game... Play This Game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An all time great. I loved it back on the 3DS, and I still listen to some of the songs from the OST to this day. Compelling story, fun characters, incredible soundtrack. The job system is deep, and you can get some pretty broken combinations going once you really get into it. The art in this game is also fantastic, from the character designs to all the locations you end up visiting. Play this game.

unlabelledView post →Play this game!! I've spend over 200 hours in the original (NTSC-U, aka "For the Sequel") 3DS release of the game, and seeing it grace PC in beautiful HD over a decade later brings me levels of joy I can't fully express in text alone. This game and its 3DS-Locked sequel are my favorite JRPGs of all time, and I continuously try to find the peaks this game reached elsewhere and found myself wanting. Regardless of if you're a fan of JRPGs, have played this game before or not, or don't like the…

unlabelledView post →A remaster of a great JRPG that was originally on the 3DS, from Square, during a time period where many thought they were losing touch with their roots, so this game was a nice return to classic form, complete with job changes and everything. It's safe to say it still holds up many years later, and is just as charming as it ever was what with the characterization and designs, as well as the story. Of which it wont blow anyone away, but sometimes all you need is a really friendly "saturday…

unlabelledView post →This game means so much to me, it was one of the first games i ever got for my 3ds on christmas as a kid, it started with the original demo i put so many hours into and then begging my grandmother to buy me the full game. This was the game that sparked my love of jrpgs and honestly very few come close to the quality of this one. Hands down EASILY the best "Final Fantasy" game, a great cast of characters all voice acted wonderfully, A job system that still hasnt been matched with its level of…

unlabelledView post →This game is a great 8 out of 10 for the first half, then plummets to a 2 out of 10 for the second half. If you cut out chapters 5-8 and spread the few good bits from them (Ringabel's story in Chapter 6, the whole background story with Airy, the last job, and a handful of the later boss fights) throughout chapters 1-4, this game would be a classic. Instead, I don't know that I can honestly recommend it to anyone. It's so deeply repetitive in the latter half, and feels like hours and hours of…
