As if that wasn't enough, today I got a massive remaster for free, with a significant overhaul. I don't think I've ever had 4.99$ go this far in my life, best money spent ever. Keep it up CDPR!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought I was starting a game about killing monsters. Instead, I found a story about family, love, friendship, loss, and the people we would cross the world for. Geralt's journey to find Ciri is one of the most memorable stories I've experienced in gaming. But what truly made this adventure special were the people around him. Yennefer and Triss aren't just romance options on a menu; they're characters who feel real. They have flaws, dreams, fears, and histories that make every interaction…

While having a drink, you think of the good times when games used to be fun and authentic. But then you tell yourself, the problem isn't the games, its you. "Its not that games aren't fun anymore, you have gotten older". And then I play Witcher 3. And…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THE BEST GAME EVER The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is my favorite game of all time. I do not say that lightly. I have played a lot of games, but this one is special to me in a way that is hard to put into words. I have over 1000 hours play time, and I am still not done. Every time I finish the story, I start it again. Every playthrough feels like coming home, and every playthrough also shows me something I missed before. If you are reading this and wondering if you should get this game in 2026, I…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I heard about the game's remaster and thought it would be a great time to play the DLCs in the new version for the first time, but I couldn't find the two DLCs on the Steam store. Turns out I got both DLCs for FREE , all because I purchased the base game back in 2021! It feels like robbery, but I'm the one doing the robbing, and I don't know how to feel about it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Witcher 3 is, in my opinion, the greatest game of the last decade. Even today, I haven’t found another game that comes close to it. I’ve finished it multiple times. I first completed it on PS4, then played through it twice again on PS5. Later, I bought it on PC just to experience the stunning graphics and high frame rates. Every single playthrough reminds me why this game is so special. The storytelling, characters, soundtrack, world-building, side quests, and expansions are on another…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game, but too hard for me on the lowest difficulty level xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game. and to all the negative reviews complaining about the remaster being forced, go into properties, game versions & betas, then click on classic or next gen (whichever you prefer). you idiots should really actually check the very well known game versions tab that almost every game has before coming in and crying about a non issue

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Witcher 3 – 100+ Hours Later and I Still Haven’t Found Ciri (But I Found Myself) I booted up The Witcher 3 thinking, “I’ll just do a couple side quests.” Cut to 100+ hours later, Geralt has a better skincare routine than I do, my moral compass is permanently bent, and I’m emotionally attached to at least three virtual people and one horse with questionable pathfinding. This game doesn’t have side quests. It has main quests pretending to be side quests. You show up to kill a monster, and…

unlabelledView post →Literally my favourite game of all time but the remastered is completely broken. Seems to be an AMD issue. Performance for me is flawless on Ultra settings 4k highest fps but the game looks aweful. Grass is black, colours are flashing, shadows look bad. Overall its worse in every way. I've tried every setting to see if it changes anything but nothing helps.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games of all time and I've been looking forward to this remaster ever since they announced it for a full PC playthrough. Unfortunately, I have to say The Witcher 3 : Remastered on PC at the moment, is an absolute disaster of a release with many features either broken or not working at all. No amount of cutting edge hardware can brute force bad optimization and this release is the perfect example of it. Getting the same performance with and without Path…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn’t expect this game to understand me the way it did. The Witcher 3 isn’t just about monsters or magic, it’s about people trying to stay kind in a cruel world. Every quiet sunset ride, every moment you stop on a hill just to listen to the wind, it reminds you how beautiful it is to feel something again. Geralt may say little, but the world speaks through him. “Wind’s howling” hits different when you’ve weathered your own storms. Some games entertain you. This one stays with you. It…

unlabelledView post →I've owned this game for many years, I keep coming back to it time and time again... Just as I do Cyberpunk 2077. CDPR are without doubt, the best AAA developer in existence at this time. They're by no means perfect, but when the fumble, they get up, they deliver on their promises and time and time again, go above and beyond to deliver products that are bigger, better than anything else out there. The original game was released in 2015, and it was a pretty masterful release to begin with,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remaster welcomes you with unskippable launcher, ads, telemetry — all you asked for. Personal configuration erased. DLSS is disabled (Nvidia 4090). Loaded last save file. Garbage graphical artifacts everywhere. 30 FPS in menus. Few seconds into gameplay — game crashed. Checked my old save files — Remaster DELETED MY WHOLE library of save backups accumulated over months. Switched to the "classic" version — game does not launch anymore.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The remaster being mandatory and not optional is actually a stupid idea. Why don't we have the Remaster and Complete Edition separate? People who bought this game 11 years ago should still be able to play the game.

unlabelledView post →Even after 10 years, this game beats almost all recent games in terms of replayability, ingame content, quests, story. There's so much to do at all times, I've been playing for 130+ hours and there's still a lot more to do. Not to mention, the Gwent card games add almost 10 hours of gameplay in and of itself. The DLC/ Expansion is very good, amazing storyline, quests, rewards, etc. so I highly suggest getting the complete bundle. Definitely top 3 Open world/ RPG game of all time, hands down.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10. I'd replay this 100 times if I could. Story, amazing. Events unfold and the time between them feels real. Characters, all fleshed out and enjoyable. 1,000 things to discover, do, and easter eggs to be found. 10,000 choices, and even the smallest ones matter. Both expansions are absolutely worth every penny at full price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my 20+ years of gaming experience, this game was and still is the only one the left me speechless. I finished it multiple times, and every time after completion I had the same reaction, it is simply THAT good. I remember first time completing it, couldn't play any other game for a year. Not to mention I've read all the books. Won't go too much on the review, just buy the game, even when it is not on the discount, and be ready to live another life as a monster hunter, father, lover, whatever…

unlabelledView post →This has always been and will always be my favourite game. With the upcoming free upgrade remaster, I had to review this already well-known game. Geralt of Rivia is back in this 3rd game, but instead of having amnesia, he is having terrible nightmares of the Wild Hunt, which is pursuing Ciri, a young girl he had raised. In the base game, the story revolves around him trying to find her while you also play some segments of Ciri to learn what actually happened to her. The game is a dark…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Best Card Game I've Ever Played I am currently 100 hours into this game. From what I understand, there's a side quest about finding your adopted daughter and saving the world from some ice elves, but honestly, I don't have time for that. I need to travel across the continent to find a random merchant in Velen who might have a weather card I'm missing. Pros: ✅ The Gwent mechanics are flawless. ✅ You can occasionally slay monsters when taking a break from Gwent. ✅ Two gorgeous sorceresses…

unlabelledView post →Can we not, for once, just have a game that doesn't get absolutely obliterated by unnecessary updates? Visually it looks good but my god they've caused so many problems with this. Constantly freezes on loading screens, audio bugs out in cutscenes, the controller support no longer works properly, the frame rate is now all over the place and it's now borderline unplayable on deck. Just play the complete edition because this is a joke.
