Bus World runs well enough on steam deck at low settings which was surprising given how unoptimized this game is. It struggles even on my desktop PC. The experiencing history part is neat you re-live what it was like after the Chernobyl nuclear accident from the perspective of a bus driver. Weird concept but I found it captivating. There are only 3 locations which is a bit…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bus games are always a problem in terms of being boring or cloying after a certain amount of gameplay. Bus World manages to circumvent this problem with creative and simple missions that leave a feeling that you are doing those GTA side missions but with simulation elements in the vehicle. Recommend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My review is long, so you can skip it if you don't want to read a lot. There's going to be 3 sections, good, bad, and early to decide. Good: 1. The game is not a mere bus simulation game, you choose a bus, choose or create a route and build your transport company by spending the money you get from trips on buying new buses and increasing the size of your fleet. Your mission is not only to transport people to their desired destination, but also to save their lives, it just doesn’t copy other…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is terrible, the optimization is very poor and it's complicated to play just the tutorial
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bus World, developed and published by KishMish Games, is an ambitious simulation game that offers a deeply immersive experience centered around the unique role of a bus driver. Released in September 2023, the game stands out by placing players in a variety of strikingly different environments, each with its own challenges and atmospheres. Unlike typical driving simulators that focus on urban routes or mundane tasks, Bus World broadens the scope significantly, blending realistic driving…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello there. Before I get fan strikes, I must say that I have played any other bus sims and mods with my other games. Believe me, I really want to give this game a meh but I'll give positive only because the price is low/ok for the project they've put it. Bus World: A Tedious and Uninspired Ride "Bus World" promises a realistic bus driving experience, but delivers a monotonous and frustrating simulation. It's a game plagued by clunky controls and a steep learning curve that fails to reward…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, really enjoyed it. Like the scenarios and the alternative gameplay of an "bus simulator". Would be great to have more levels and compatibilty for peripherie, but all in all it's a good game. Recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →abandoned no update in over 2 years
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pls make scenario with nuclear explosion zavod of udorbrenies
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be better if I can adjust seat to a more comfortable situation, and quick save/load to continue game instead of a fresh start. The bus light is not enough in the night. 11.26 add:Bugs still exist. It's confusing about passenger judgment. I just want to drive bus with no limitation.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →scenarios are really unforgiving which makes it a pain and a drag to play
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the gameplay but optimisation is horrible. For example I can run Euro truck simulator 2 with every setting in ultra at around 60 fps but in Bus world I get around 30-40fps on the LOW preset
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How did they even come up with this idea? It's a bus simulator set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. You literally drive Soviet-era buses through Pripyat!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a nice & chill game for a bus and u have to picking up some pripyat
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game idea was great but technically terrible. Unoptimized, unfinished, unplayable and abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitelly a hidden game on steam, really cheap, very original idea and there is even info u can learn from playing this game. It's true that the main story is going around Chernobyl, which i find very cool indeed. There are 2 more maps, but the story is not that deep there, but its enough to get you occupied. For non story people there is even XP level system and free ride option, u can customize few things on buses and drive them anywhere u want around the map, there is even route creation…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not optimized, euro truck simulator optimized better than this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bus World is a bus simulator that surprises you. Yes, there's a steering wheel, a road, and passengers, but there's also history, repairs, and even Chernobyl. What cool: • Buses for every taste: From old Soviet buses to modern ones. • More than just a driver: Repair, manage, and save the world (well, almost). • History mode: Travel through time by driving buses from different eras. • Realism: Weather, traffic, and bus behavior are just like in real life. • Route Editor: Create your own…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If this is on sale, it's worth checking out. It's janky, but you're a bus driver navigating a rather treachourous world. I appreciate the effort the developer put into this. It is extremely over-priced when it's not on sale though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this game changed my life. This is just like real life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know, Bus World is a cool game, but there are some drawbacks. Let's start with them. 1. The optimization is not very good, even on my 3080 and AMD 5 5600x, it only gives me 30-40 fps, and it's using the Unity engine. 2. The AI behavior is not very good. There are situations where you're standing at a bus stop following all the rules, and suddenly a bot crashes into you. As a result, the mission is failed. That's about it. The game features three regions: Chernobyl with 17 missions,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game but almost has no support for Steering Wheels and is very buggy with shifting
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game for its price but optimization is on the floor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is AMAZING, The best Bus game I ever played. APPROVED!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a simulator where you play as a bus driver in three different cities around the world. The concept is interesting, and the game world effectively captures the atmosphere of these locations—featuring modern settings in both the Iceland and Asia maps—but the highlight is the main storyline, which takes you back to Chernobyl on April 26, 1986. The sound and graphics are quite decent, especially considering the developer’s background in mobile games. For an indie title, there are few bugs,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just a fun game to have, although some of the controls are hard to set up, especially if you using a steering wheel, the only one you can use is a Logitec g series wheel, any other it won't work
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Good :( the game is terrible, the optimization is very poor and it's complicated to play just the tutorial
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That has a good idea behind it obviously. The game is fun, but the physics definitely need improvement. In its current state, it feels very similar to Midtown Madness in terms of driving physics and graphics. That said, it's still an enjoyable game and has potential if the mechanics get refined.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of missions out of the ordinary is a really good way of making a standard bus driving game, different to the others. Whilst the control system is a bit trickier to setup than other games, the controls aren't too bad but not the best. Would I recommend for full price? Nope, I'd wait until it is on offer and see what you think.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute Kak!! Don't waste your quid. Looks like it could've been a good game as the graphics aren't bad. But, it's the control assignment that sucks. No support for most wheels but you can assign the controls, which then don't work. Only managed to move the bus 25ft (accidentally) before i gave up after visiting the controller settings a thousand times. Didn't bother trying to use a control pad because i wanted to use the wheel. Its why i bought it. But, I imagine it could be an ok game to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pripyat my beloved would love a full map of the city
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i dont get all the hate. its like my summer car but youre the driver. and its in the USSR and China instead. i think these devs are secretly commies like me. it would be really cool to have 1950-70 beijing and the busses.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's a tsunami coming! To which the locals don't seem bothered by, taking their sweet time to get on the evacuation bus strolling as if a red carpet had been laid and car drivers cruising at seriously slow speeds holding you up like its nothing to worry about! Safe to say nobody made it out alive and everyone drowned in the tsunami. Amazing experience, would recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, conveys the whole spirit of the Chernobyl mission, I recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has got to be the most annoying games I have played and the most unrealistic travel down an active volcano mountain whilst picking up passengers who think they are on a day out whilst trying to beat the hot lava that is racing towards the bus I am driving. No fun highly annoying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rubbish game too hard and graphics perfomance is bad, stay away from it. Dont spend any money on this crap!!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not bad, once you understand the mechanics it's a lot more chill.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bus World, fun concept, not fun game! #gaming
unlabelledView post →Do you like bus? Buy it but only during sales (2€ not 20€). And just enjoy scenarios with not so good graphics and wierd NPCs. IT´S OK. Oh and do you like 100% achievements? DON´T BUY IT. for LAST casual achievement you will need lvl 19. For that you will need around 700 perfect routes with 200xp (fcn multiplier 0,2) in free mode......insane....hate them for that....free mode useless, booring and you really dont need that mode.... 0.2 MULTIPLIER is very rude from developers. Just enjoy…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great idea, not executed really well but you do have to salute the dev team for trying something really new I prefer the bus sim series but this isn't a bad game at all
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They hired the wrong guy to drive their bus. Sorry for your losses.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really cool game with great scenarios and great difficulties. There is one annoying achievement because it would take several hours of just plainly drive around. Apart from that a really cool and detailed game with great stories. I can really highly recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the only thing that i love about this game is, thats being main menu theme is Sleep Dealer-My Sorrow. Love you Vadim
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, this game is frustration and absoluteley not easy tough
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My career as a bus driver lasted less than 30 minutes. I realized very quickly that if I wanted to experience a bumpy ride with terrible physics and people complaining, I could just take the real bus in my city for 1 euro. At least there I don't get a "Game Over" screen when I hit a curb. Refunded this and used the money to buy a bus ticket to somewhere far away from this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple but fun game. Rather than just driving the bus from one stop to another it adds an element of adventure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →my disappointment is immeasurable t300 steering wheel wont work
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended , the controls are not good and can't input the instructions and I am using handheld device like asus rog ally and there are no options for this controller and the highlight part is that this game is available on steam and I m playing from steam but there are options for playstation and xbox controller I mean really what is this use of those controller???
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →✅ Final Thoughts (After 10 Hours) -What I enjoyed: * Relaxing and immersive bus driving experience with detailed interiors and realistic routes. * Variety of bus models and customization options that add to the realism. * Calm pacing that lets you enjoy the scenery and the driving mechanics. * Good challenge in managing schedules and passenger pickups. -What gave me pause: * Graphics are a bit dated compared to other simulators. * Some controls feel clunky or unintuitive at times. *…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game, maybe not the best as a sim but unique in its way.fell in love with the Chernobyl storyline and the soundtracks from Sleep Dealer.Perfect atmosphere,at certain times it gave me goosebumps!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best bus game I have played, just that... very very unoptimised. Still better than Bus Simulator series

unlabelledView post →honestly I should NOT have spent as much time in this game as I did, though I cant lie that I didnt have some fun playing it, many of the design choices infuriate me the main selling point for me, and I assume a few more people, was the inclusion of Chernobyl missions, though the actual inclusion of which feels underwhelming. there is none of any sort of progression and time progression in the Chernobyl scenarios, with the 1st mission being already an evacuation, then its before the disaster,…
