negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game had significant downsides and was really a niche affair, but it was enjoyable enough to patiently grind through. This on the other hand has only one very tedious main quest. I had 18 hours of game play and except for very large amount of text from npc and a few rats battles, the story doesnt have much to show. The fact that the entire game happens in one locale only with no map exploration makes things even less interesting. More akin to a 10 tomes visual novel than a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →much better than Atom RPG, as it cuts down on pointless fast travelling, has a tighter story, provides more role playing and choices, and overall polish in everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved ATOM RPG and its sequel/expansion Trudograd is even better in many ways. Better graphics, cool finishers for certain weapons, funny writing, dark and smart humor, crafting that stays relevant until at least hour 160, lots of equipment and weapons, tons of quests, many cool characters, your own HQ. Could name more. You can immediately see that real heartblood went into this project and I deeply appreciate this. BUT the game keeps crashing hard. I saw that there is no review here on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to recommend this game, but the game breaking bugs make it so I can't. I'm stuck in a Soft Dialog lock for a main quest called "The Lost Wallet". After I return a lost wallet, I get experience but I can't exit the dialog with Aidarov; it gets stuck in a dialog loop and there is no way to exit the dialog and continue the game. The Lost Wallet quest is the final step in a main story quest, so I can't continue the game because I'm stuck in the dialog. I'm forced to do a hard reset of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game just has better story but much worse balance than the original. People say it is easy, and yes, it is if you import an uber powerful level 30 char you spend 100 hours grinding from the original. Even then, you STILL have to grind for money and ammo. 70% of the game is waiting outside a merchant to restock like 20 bullets over and over, except you can't even do that because of the cold mechanic. Unfortunately if you didn't, the game has several crazy difficulty spikes in store for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted badly to like this game, but it have problems! Quest are explained very bad and almost every quest must be search guide for it! Also last quest lock me from the rest of the quests whit no warning! After i got the quest i read it, before entering the cave and it dint say my progress will be locked!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have arrived on the outskirts of Trudograd on and important mission that could decide the fate of millions. I am about to begin my journey when I elect to talk with a local bum. He tells me that, in a drunken haze, he hid a precious item in a nearby minefield and asks me to retrieve it. I proceed into said minefield, whereupon I explode somewhere close to thirty times before finding the man's treasure. It is a jar of gold teeth. Later, I find myself outside a market, talking to a traveling…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! What an improvement over the first game. I tried off and on to finish the first one and only recently finished it. While it was very charming, it had a few issues that dragged down the experience. The same cannot be said for this amazing sequel! Combat is mostly the same but the builds are way better with more player freedom as well as much improved animations. The leap in graphical fidelity is noticeable with much more detailed environments . Map traversal is different. There's less…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really hate to dislike this game.. I had a lot of fun with the story and quests in the beginning, but one encounter made me realize that after hours committed to a character that it was going to be unplayable in some parts. The encounter was one where 9 drug fiends attack on the world map.. I could have evaded with survival, or used stealth to get by if I had the right items equipped, but that isn't the point. The point is that my character had 9 out of 11 awareness and when the encounter…

unlabelledView post →I got into this game without playing the first, it was ok as a standalone, I could understand the story despite getting the occasional NPCs saying things like “You remember me?’ or “Do you remember doing that thing?’. You even start off at lvl 15 and answer some questions tied to the previous game, which do not appear to have any ramifications throughout the rest of the game. For me this game is right at the border between a thumbs up and a down, and I can cover in brief why I give it a thumb…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great experience, you are left with basic tools at the gates of a city you need to infiltrate. Use your skills, investigate, loot, steal and fight to complete your mission. The crafting kinda sucks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ATOM RPG: Trudograd – Review after First Playthrough I just wrapped up my first run of ATOM RPG: Trudograd, and compared to the base game, this one was a much smoother ride. Where the first ATOM felt like a grind-heavy tribute to Fallout that tested my patience, Trudograd feels more refined, more approachable, and honestly, more fun to play start to finish. 🎨 Atmosphere & Worldbuilding Trudograd nails the post-apocalyptic Soviet setting again, but this time the city focus makes everything…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just like Fallout
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game, but I can't get past the dialogue. It's super cheesy and not well written. It almost comes across at points like it was written by someone who's first language is not English.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The developers of this game are racists
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simply putting dislike because of horrible ending. After spending last two days playing the game It does not feel rewarding nor does it tell a story properly. CRPG wise its 8/10 Ending Wise its 4/10 Hope devs will do better job in their Iron Conspiracy game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The follow-up to ATOM RPG has the same quality writing and polish, alongside improvements to the graphics and mechanics. Despite suffering from some of the same issues, this makes ATOM RPG: Trudograd a strict upgrade to its predecessor and a must play for lovers of cRPGs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Similar to Fallout 1 & 2 based in Russia. DEX stat still carries all builds. Sound design and graphics are much better than the original game. If you completed the 1st game your character can be carried over at their current level and get a free respec.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On the *real* scale of 1-10, the one where Concord gets a 0, this game is a solid 6, maybe a 6.5. Nothing to scoff at, but still full of flaws that cannot be ignored, especially at higher difficulties. I did enjoy it because I really wanted some sort of Fallout substitute, despite its many flaws. The game's universe is pretty nice, the story is not bad by any means. Overall, it was somewhat entertaining. The 11€ price is perfectly fair for that experience, since nowadays that's much less than a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I. Love. This. Game. I think I prefer the barren wasteland of the first Atom RPG, but the story and pacing of Trudograd is more focused. Part of that is in owing to its status as as "standalone sequel/expansion." Make no mistake though, this game stands fully on its own two feet. You could play it without having played the first. I believe I spent 5 fewer hours in Trudograd than I did the first game, but I came away more satisfied. Unlike the first, I didn't face any unwinnable encounters.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can't nuke Bethesda Game Studios Headquarters like you did in the first one... But you can send a satellite to orbit to broadcast "SuckDeezNutz is the Greatest. ATOM is awesome" every 6 minutes to whole world 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Combat is completely unbalanced, you're constantly placed in horrific tactical positions against 5 or 6 enemies that generally surround you. Enemy weapons do FAR too much damage while yours feels like a cap gun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ATOM RPG Trudograd is an amazing standalone expansion to ATOM RPG. while sadly it's a bit shorter than the original they nonetheless managed to pack in alot of interesting missions full of depth and choices, even letting you potentially joining new factions that will change how the story plays out (And of course i joined the Trudograd Revolutionary Front with my Imported Soviet Moldavian Character Nelu Panaitescu) and thanks to said missions you can easily get distracted from the main story and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First thing of note I did after creating my character was come across a pimp who gave me the choice between two girls to have protected or unprotected sex with. Naturally, I took this offer and was awarded 69 experience points.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game as of in itself lacks the creative narrative of the predecessor, while combat gameplay comes down to being mainly repetative and imbalanced.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Difficult to get into, clunky camera and while it have a lot of nice things going, being heavily influenced by Fallout 2, it just doesn't get to that level. Fallout 2 have you fight smaller enemies and progress into the game and your builds, Trudograd will have you gettting beaten in every fight - even if you max out one of your combat skill at the start, and this is from the easiest to the second easiest level. You have to know the game already to cheese your way through it - and plain and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Очень жаль, что купил этот "продукт". Советую разработчикам идти свинюшкам хвостики закручивать. Z
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ATOM RPG Trudograd is more of a visual novel than a game. It's the type of game where you should talk to every NPC because they all have much to say about the current state of affairs. The combat is bad. The itemization is also bad. The crafting is abysmal. However, the story is good. So, if you're more interested in a good story with game elements than playing an action game, this is decent.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun sequel to the original Atom RPG. You can import your character from it and you get a full respec when you do, keeping any extra skill points from books and trainers along with stat increases from Strange Serums and such. Warnings: you need 150 speechcraft to unlock the secret ammo vendor. You can choose between joining the Police or Revolutionaries but only the police get a gun vendor, the only real gun vendor in the game. Do not choose Revolutionaries if you want a good choice of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much better then the first one in many ways. Although it feels like more talking and traveling and less fighting. More choices in story line and joining factions is fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would be a cool homage to games like fallout and fallout 2 ... but... I honestly didn't even die this much playing elden ring, I spend more time dying and reloading, just plugging through that process hoping to get lucky enough to make it to my destination, god forbid I get cut off by a pack of rats or something. This game, has the worst early game I have ever played, and I don't think I'm going to waste any more time on this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In the first few hours of the game, only pistols and automatic weapons are provided. If you want to specialize in shotguns and assault rifles, prepare to suffer. -------------------- Edit (after 63 hours): Got softlocked during final quest. This is it for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →should be in dlc tab for atom rpg and not its own thing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like walking and reading dialog this is the game for you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After my rather "meh" experience with ATOM RPG, I didn’t have high hopes for Trudograd. But the devs actually learned from their past mistakes and delivered something much more refined, playable, and enjoyable. It’s still a little rough around the edges, but it fixes a lot of what was wrong with its predecessor. There's still some jank, but overall it's way more polished and got lots of QoL improvements. Also there's way less tedium. Combat is still a bit unbalanced, but it’s alright. Where…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels different to the first and difficult. We need more games like this, classic cRPG's Bombagun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mixed feelings. Overall, I enjoyed the game, but it isn't as great as the previous one. I guess, my main issue: I expected too much out of importing character from the original game. You just continue to leveling the hero (which is nice) and there is practically no cause and consequences of the previous decisions (which is sad). Steamdeck port was done greatly, but I recommend to reduce the graphic settings quality in the midgame. Otherwise you will wait for 1-2 seconds to open an inventory.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An improvement over the first game in a number of ways, but loses steam near the end. Trudograd made the excellent design choice to constrain the game area to one city, which solved the first game's problem of walking through large empty areas. Unlike its predecessor, every area felt important to visit and full of NPCs to interact with, and I had a lot of fun talking to everyone. The illustrated narrative sections added a great change of pace during quests and it was fun seeing callbacks to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game sucked me in. It was so good I feel guilty for getting it on sale so cheap. Get this at any price if you liked the first one and/or you like CRPG + post-apocalyptic. Heavily influenced by Fallout. All of that being said, the guy who does most of the narration sounds like he's reading to children. Cheesy and totally out of place.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i do not have the time to be a QA tester for yet another game. For me this game is unplayable, as it randomly freezes and has to be killed by task manager. Ive not made it far into character creation despite multiple tries.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i had fun, dialogs, quests, overall ambiance, exploring are game's strong points, and they are exactly llike soviet fallout should be, there isn't maybe enough drinking included, but it's just pure sad, eastern, depressing, fun! Some skills seem to be out of place, like game wasn't finished but they stayed anyway, sneaking and stealing is more like guessing game, technology and gambling hardly even appear but one could spend all skillpoints leveling it. Also companions are completely useless,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →★★★★☆ Ever wonder what Fallout would feel like if you swapped Nuka-Cola for vodka and radiation for "mild everyday life"? Welcome to Atom RPG: Trudograd. This game oozes old-school CRPG charm. Turn-based combat, brutal survival, hilarious random encounters—you’ll find all of it here, wrapped in a gloriously bleak Russian setting. I never played the first Atom RPG, but it didn’t really matter. You’re dropped into a world that's already broken; you don’t need a history lesson to start picking…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Playing this reminded me on why I was a good idea for Fallout to move away from chance-based,Painful early game combat. I really want to like this game but it's clear that something like this was not made for me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is nice that many quests can be resolved in a dialogue. Maybe even too many.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →js buy the game pls support the devs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Trudograd" is a direct continuation of the original "ATOM RPG", and it truly feels like one. If you still have a save from the end of the first game, you can import it. This is not just a cosmetic bonus: your character keeps their progression, and some unique perks such as knowledge of criminal slang and "Obsessed" carry over as well. The developers also made sure those things actually matter in gameplay. There are other nice fan-service touches too, like a photo of Dzhulbars if the dog…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rather tedious gameplay, empty locations
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great sequel/DLC for ATOM RPG. Hard to say how to call it exactly, it took me 35h to finish compared to ATOM's 50 (Not a 100% completion but both cases I would guess about 90% of content). Bugs? There are bugs, I blame it on being inspired by Fallout series. It has to have bugs to feel like Fallout. But to be fair there weren't that many. After some cutscenes/text adventures my character would drop his weapon. By the endgame I had to save and load two times because I couldn't enter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda Fallout vibe game, but a nice one. I like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried I really did... The absence of quest markers for me it's just too hard. You get a quest and then you complete it and then you've got to or you're expected to find where to hand it in. Or the quest is like Somewhere in X talk to X, A little bit of that is fine but over and over again I just can't do it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was one of the first people to review Atom RPG when it came out and I dunno if the devs took my review to heart but they game is a MASSIVE improvement over the original Some small blemishes before I get onto the meat of the game. Combat is still kinda boring then didnt add much to the formula but at least building a character is more interesting now and they give you lots of cool toys to play with. Pacing is very slow with majory of your quests being puzzles or fetch quests so you dont…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A newer ''Fallout 2'' that i can play .Good value for money
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A continuation of the first game's weird treatment of the mentally disabled and the romani people.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No fun, boring, tedious gameplay
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked the first game, then you're more than likely going to like this one as well. Skills have milestones that award bonus effects at 50/100/150/etc, characters can be imported from the first game and all bonuses transfer as well, revamped talent tree, a few rebalanced traits. It's a more refined version of Atom RPG with a similar amount of replayability as the first. The world map is way smaller in comparison to the first game, with this game taking place entirely in the city of…
