60 of 150 · most liked firstAt a glance; I so want to Recommend this game. Cybernetic Walrus have proven they're a hugely talented team, and they've done a great job of recitifying a bad launch. But objectively I can't. Taken on it's own merits Antigraviator is a solid game, but there are better AG racers available for a lot less money. And so for now I'd recommend you pick up BallisticNG or Redout. But don't forget about Antigraviator. Keep faith, I have a feeling it'll get better with time. And if you can find it on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game features a single player campaign where money earned during each race can be used to unlock new parts. However, you must place first to unlock the next set of races, which is a very tough proposition. Additionally, there is local split-screen multiplayer, online multiplayer with rankings and leaderboards, and single races against the AI. Beyond traditional lap-based events, there are "deathraces" where last place is eliminated each circuit, and a "countdown" mode where passing through…

Form what ive played so far & the price of it, its a well worth game that not only looks really good graphicly it feels good as well when you start to understand the mechanics of it. I was a fan of all the Wipeout games, XG3R and XGRA, this feels more like an F-Zero/XG3R mix of a game as the ship feels very responsive when turning left or right and the speed as well makes it more of a challenge to learn the levels…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent to good F-Zerolike AG racer ruined, and I mean **completely** ruined, by an inane "Trap" powerup system. Traps deployed by other racers tend to appear in front of your craft INSTANTLY, with almost always no way to escape. Many of these traps bring you to a dead stop while the entire pack flies past you. If you set a trap yourself, there's no feedback if it deployed, much less if it got another racer. If that sounds fun to you, by all means get this game. For the sane, I would instead…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In the current day climate where some AAA games can earn up to 1.97 billion dollars in revenue in just the first quarter of 2018.. I really feel that a small group of dedicated, independent, people working hard for over 30 months to bring us this game deserve our money, patience and thumbs up vote far more. By down voting a game like this, you're essentially taking away a future player base and more or less ensuring that games like this will no longer be made in the future. Your voice matters…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Until you get the 3rd ship, (though the 2nd ship shines on a few tracks) you aren't getting the full experience. This game has a few issues, wall's are seemingly magnetic and won't let go of you, uneven terrain sometimes counts as hitting a wall, and there's one specific spot near the start of Trappist Station that will stop you dead in your tracks The real reason I cannot recommend this game in it's current state is the horrific campaign "experience" which shoots this game in the foot. You…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ABSOLUTELY GREAT HIGH SPEED RACING GAME I am enjoying this game since half a year now, and reading the negative comments about it motivated me to write my first review here on steam, since there are many games which are worse, but have received much better ratings. First of all: I think the most negative information here is not right (any more). It seems that the developers have reacted on negative impressions of the players in the past and updated the game. For example: In 2018, one said…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't believe the spec. It runs ok on my Core 2 duo + 4Gb + AMD 6850 (between 30 & 60 FPS). Although it's now smooth, it's playable. Just check their website/facebook to download the demo if you're not sure ! This game is cool, the engine is nice. As a musician, I find the music a bit repetitive. Dev should contract with great Electro Artists to propose a DLC with amazing & different music tracks ! Prodijy, Chemical Brothers, whatever maybe less know band but the game deserves more music…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be blatantly honest with you, I'm not a big fan of these anti gravity racing games but I feel like this game is as generic and lackluster as it can be. And on top of that, it's filled with numerous bugs. Even the physics are kinda weird.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/xDI85BytwSE Hey wanted to say that this game is super fun! I have not played through the entire game but wanted to give my review of this game. I recorded myself playing this game where you can see first hand the kind of game play that we would except. I like this game alot, for someone not interested in racing games all that much. Would Appreciate it if you could all go and check out my video for more information. Lets all help Antigraviator out and hype this game up!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Traps are super annoying and can't be disabled / turned off. Devs please make this an option. When traps are going to be triggered there's no way I have found to predict the nature of the trap (some release huge blocks or boulders onto the track, some magnetically suck you into the barrier). Track design is too twisty and unpredictable. It's ok if a section of the track is this way or if one or two tracks are this way (forcing many plays for memorization) but in general it's way better to be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a true anti gravity racing games enthusiast since the first F-Zero I should like this game but sadly I don't. The physics and controls sucks and it kinda feel clunky to play. Ngl most races are snore fests, no real sense of speed even with all the distortions and fish eye effects it's really boring honestly. The user interface is pretty barebones and quite messy and the game soundtrack is not good. At least the graphics are decent and it runs well on my pc. I think it could have been a good…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THE ANTIGRAVIATOR REVIEW: THE TUTORIAL: Now I know most of us probably skip the tutorial but for those who are new to gaming or genuinely enjoy doing a tutorial so you can start the game informed, this is for you. The tutorial sets you off in a unique tutorial track. It lets you play and as it spawns in things to explain the game to you, it also shows prompts and slows the game down into a type of bullet time slo-mo so you don’t have to worry at all about “the flying parts” while you read.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm very disappointed in what direction this game headed. It's clear the developers had talent and money to pull off something great, but they failed to understand what makes a racing game like this actually good. The track designs and music are fine, but the actual gameplay is flawed on nearly every level, and I just can't recommend this game when you have competition from big studios in the genre like 34BT and Shin'en putting out much better products. The most obvious issue is the handling.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With no proper minimap, high speeds, and a camera angle that doesnt let you see too far ahead, i dont know how im supposed to see an upcoming turn before i hit it. The trap system is also kinda silly. Game looks nice, that's about it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the first about an hour or so, Antigraviator is a janky, mixed bag of a game, but ultimately still a fun enough experience if you buy it on discount. Unfortunately, the devs seem to have realised that the game would really only be 3 hours or so long, and so decided to stretch the playtime by ramping up the prices to eleven and introducing a huge difficulty spike about halfway through the game, forcing you to grind previous tournaments several times over to unlock new vehicles and upgrades…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lame "trap" system that can't be disabled outside of quick race mode (lol). Completely ruins the flow of a game supposedly centered around "unlimited speed!!!11" Rubberbanding AI... Just avoid this unless you LIKE to be annoyed with purposely frustrating "traps" that the AI spams at you endlessly, while they rubberband right past you. What a joke.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't recommend the game in its current form. Yeah, I got only 21 mins playtime, but it's enough for me to know it's not the AG racer I was hoping for. Pros: +Nice graphic +high performance +great sense of speed +customizable vehicles +nice amount of tracks for the buck Negative: --Traps: they can kill you with one hit in some mode and some are extremely hard to avoid (but standing still and waiting for them to vanish). This was the deal breaker for me. It's simply not fun when you have no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game but it gave me motion sickness so bad I had to lay down for awhile.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/ZsA325AHadg Poor sightlines result in a weak sense of speed and the ability for players to read the course as they play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Antigraviator sort of similiar to Redout. Vividly stunning visual but innovation sort of too limited. Soundtracks weren't so good or heart-racing vibe. The control is quite challenging, in term, of turning left or right as you're like prone to hit the wall.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my impression of playing the game for about an hour. I managed to finish 2 cups during that time and played some quick races. The question on most people's mind is probably is this WipeOut or F-zero. Well it is niether. It is something in between. I had a lot of fun playing though! I like the tracks and vehicles and must say this game is very impresive for a team 5 people who have just graduated. Is it all good? Well here are my pros and cons. Pros - it is fast, very fast - it is a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Antigraviator is a fun arcade pod racer set in beautiful, futuristic environments. The game's campaign is a set of leagues that provide currency to unlock and customize your racers. Beyond that there are plenty of maps with variations and race modes with leaderboards for replayability. The online aspect doesn't work in the current version (1.4) but online ranked does work in version 1.292 (manifest ID 4481289488083215893). There are 2 broken achievements that the development team is currently…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Unresponsive controls - Too much visual noise - Convoluted tracks - Confusing Tournament like career mode - Rubberbanding AI - Bugs - Grindy upgrade system - Only 3 ships on entire game (+1 from free DLC) - No updates whatsoever
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →with a few more tweeks this game could be great. the games ok until you hit the difficulty spikes do to the insane amount of boosts you can get for the ai to exploit. there is also no proper map during races and to many blind spots because the track bends so far you can't see the road past your car. maybe get it cheap 4/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When it works and you're in a race, this game's actually pretty good, with good handling and track design, BUT -Four times out of five the game won't even load into the main menu. -The grind is intense. Upgrades are expensive, new ships are preposterously so, and you WILL need to repeat tournaments to buy anything -The combat mechanics are cryptic, don't have much of any feedback that would make killing other racers satisfying -The rubberbanding is really bad Shame, really.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Broken game, looks like it depends on game servers that they've switched off. They state they have ended all development by Winter 2019 so don't expect a fix.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The difficulty gets pretty ridiculous a couple hours into the campaign. It's not that it's hard so much as it's unfair, even running nearly perfect races with the fastest car will leave you in last place sometimes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For this price, I can't recommend Antigravitor. I got it on sale for 2 bucks, and that's about what its worth. tl;dr, get BallisticNG. Its cheaper and way better in every aspect. With that out of the way, lets get to the game itself. The visuals are alright -- nothing special, but they do the job. The performance is quite solid -- with vsync disabled it shot up to a rock solid 500 FPS at 1440p with a AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE. The music is on par and fitting with the rest of the game. There is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crappy AG Racing. - Terrible rubber banding - Glitchy - Unsatisfying control - Tracks is not fun - Pointless trap system - Or unfair "Pure mode" - Weird camera - Cheesy soundtrack AI in the Silver League and above is way too fast, making it impossible for humans to catch up, what a insanely balance.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like it but the camera angle is fixed at a very low angle and you can't see ahead cause the track layout isn't relatively flat. The voiceover also gets lost in the mix cause it's got a strange reverb on it that makes it hard to understand.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shortly: Excellent F-Zero / Wipeout like game that has a rough time delivering the important first impressions. I see many negatives talk about bad first impressions and other minor issues and thus the game has 'Mixed' rating. I agree on the first impression part but IMHO giving negatives is too harsh as the game takes time to open up. This game might not be the best in the genre but it is good one once you get past the rough early game confusion. I have played a lot of games like this lately…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Antigraviator is a great if you feel like a Wipeout-like, speed-crazy game. It feels great, looks great and gets you pumped up for the next moment of insanely crazy, speed-inducing grav racing. For the price, you're getting a reasonably long and good campaign, which is hard enough to have to make you train on some individual tracks, and 15 tracks that are beautiful and well-designed. I had always hoped that someone would always make some sort of spiritual successor to the Wipeout series, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Antigraviator is a graphically jaw dropping title and well up there with the other two heavy hitting Wipeout clones; Distance and Redout: Enhanced Edition. Thus, in my books anyway, these three games have their own different strengths and play styles and they are punishingly difficult but if you are prepared to concentrate on each title, it will reward you with repeated practice and become more playable and slightly easier meaning that you will be able to progress. I love Antigraviator the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tough but fair F-Zero-esque racer with super tight controls, well-designed courses and solid graphics. Runs great in Linux via SteamPlay/Proton, too! Great game all around. I only have two points that bug me a bit: *I wish there was a lot more vehicles to choose from and unlock (instead of just a total of 3--4 with the DLC) and a lot more upgrades to buy into. *I wish there were more camera angles, as the only camera angle seems to be pretty low (I'd like to raise it up a little higher to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a pretty cool game. If you've played old school wipeout for the ps1, this is pretty much it, but cranked up to 11 speed wise. There's "weapons" or traps as they call it but it feels sorta tacked on as you can only use it at certain times. Id rather if they were going to do weapons, implement a more Wipeout approach as it adds in more tactics. but honestly just trying to control your grav at the sheer speed taking curves is tough enough. You can tell pretty much all their indie budget…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad handling with a weird following camera, Bad Track design and IA Broken... What a perfect combo... Just play BallisticNG or Redout 1 instead...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UI is fiddly, handling is all over the place, AI is impossible to beat after the first few tournaments.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible 1st impression. Does not hold a candle to Redout, not even in the same league. The controls are no where near as responsive, even to games like mario kart and similar games. Music is not good. If this was an early alpha i'd say it has promise but as a finished product i'd say stay away and purchase much better, even older alternatives did it better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried very little driving in this game so far, and it feels very clunky and stiff to move the ship. It looks nice, but for a racing game, it is almost necessary for good controls. Try some other games like Redout, Grip: Combat Racing, or even a lesser known game called Super Pilot, in early access right now. I liked those much better than this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game may be ok in singleplayer, if it works - or if you get it to work. Unfortunately there is a bug that happens to me, did to a friend and seems to happen to over 50% of topic creators while devs say "...doesn't happen often..." Bug: After tutorial the game will create a SaveFile which may be corrupted on creation or not. When it is corrupted, the game will then "hang" in infinite "loading parameters" screen. The Devs will tell in topics created, to delete the SaveFile within…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a whole slew of issues for this game, but i'll skip the smaller ones are just list the biggest issues. The biggest problem is the course design. The devs preferred form over function, where the levels look fanstic, but trying to correctly race through them is near impossible. You are never given ample time, or adequate visual look-ahead to see and plan the upcoming turns. The terrible camera placement hurts this even further as it doesn't provide a good enough view of the track. In a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looks really great, its art style is fantastic - every futuristic racing game should look at least like this. Perfectly chosen colors, lighting, track designs... Unfortunately, Antigravitator has also some more or less significant flaws: I. The controls (fortunately, they can be fixed). Using a pad is much more convenient in this type of games, but here on the default configuration it is insufficiently responsive. The analog triggers are too slow to immediately activate the brake,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wipeout Vibe Antigraviator is a futuristic racing game that reminds me of Wipeout. The scenary are very beautiful and it's the biggest positive point of the game ! The circuits are quite varied and offer beautiful atmospheres and landscapes while integrating this well into the race itself. A customization side of the appearance and stats of each vehicle is available, allowing you to adjust the acceleration, the handling and strength as you wish while keeping a certain stability in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Space race Antigraviator is a game that simultaneously excites and frustrates by offering some excellent, ultrafast racing on one hand, and then smears poop all over its achievements with silly gimmicks that are ill suited to hyper-fast racing titles. This all on top of the fact there is little content on display that would suggest it is worth a curious glance at best, though with other racing games of its style hiding in the Steam woodwork it lowers its potential value even more.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →unity is the worst possible engine for a game like this. The performance is just not there not to mention the AI and control. I*m playing on a i7 5820k (6 cores @ 4.8ghz), 32 gigs DDR4 and a GTX 1080 and im seeing frame drops at 1440p for no reason. Meanwhile i just came off playing a session of Vampyr at 4k Ultra settings at a locked 60FPS and earlier i was playing Skyrim VR with supersampling set to 2.0 and i had zero issue hitting a comfy frame rate. I'd port what you (the dev) have to a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was any AG-racing game as perfect as wipEout? Of course not. This is the reason why I write this review now. When i played the tutorial I thought, oh, that's an easy game. But later on, you'll see (just like me), it's not! You have to race, get experience and earn money by playing the campaign. With the money you earn you can upgrade your vehicle which gives you an advantage later on in the game. You'll get better the more you play. And if you got into it, you'll enjoy it. Give this game…

Using brakes doesn't feel punishing so is encouraged but typically a bad habit for the acclaimed AG racing game. Presentation makes for an addicting sense of speed. Although, later on it's impossible to see the track before you've hit every border, unless you've memorised perfectly. CW avoids placing many tunnels or jumps, each…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it seemed to fill that wipeout itch i get every now and again, imo this is the arcade racer ive been looking for for the odd 30 mins here and there. i got it on sale, im getting heavy 00s nostalgia rn... like the kind of game you might find second hand or on offer for a steal, and you get intruged and shove the disc in your system... yeah it gives me those feels! for 30 mins here and there i think ill get some more fun out of this in the future!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What the game offers is mostly good but.. I think it should be more. You have 3 (+1 free DLC) ships total with 3x3 different parts to equip which is not really impressive. The tracks do seem to be pretty cool, some of the traps are kinda weird imo but fine overall. I don't recommend this game because I have Wipeout and Redout next to me which are way better atm. I'll wait for future updates and check back later. The motivation to play the game and get all the achievements was taken after the…

Whilst the game does look quite pretty... it's a grind fest. that became immediately obvious and I despise games that make you grind endlessly for the tinniest of things. It also refuses to load 90% of the time... Seriously I played it for 30 mins and it was ok.... now it refuses to load at all... just gets tot he loading settings screen and sits there for ever... CPU usage is at 18-20% but GPU usage spikes yo 98-99%... and sits there doing nothing. No…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks pretty. That's it. The game itself is not good at all. I'm a wipEout fan so I was hoping for some wipEout-esque racing. Not even close. The ships feel like they are made of plastic with no weight at all Doesn't feel like there is any actual physics at all just arcade fake-ness No cockpit, or even pilot-eye view; bumper-cam view provided but feels completely wrong especially when things go awry "Trap" system is just boring and skill-less serving only as a constant annoyance. If they…

Strong 8/10 from me 2 things that niggle me -No drift turning technique (F-Zero GX L+R together would have your back end spin round corners it made the game so much more adrenaline pumping) I can imagine this being discussed during development just wondering why…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Barely in for an hour, i´m pretty hooked on Antigraviator. First of all it runs very smoothly on my i5 / RX 480, using the predetermined settings right of the bat. No crashes, no other antics. Chokepoint for most of these kind of racers is vehicle handling and trackbalance. You want to have a fluid race and not every Low- Anti- Zero- grav racer gets there. In my book they did it right with this game. Being a sucker for all wipeout, F-zero and XG games i always dispised being set back and hung…
