Bertram Fiddle is a point & click game with a good-looking, stylized, cartoony art style that immediately catches the eye. However, it doesn’t do anything special. I didn’t care for it, but you might. You control two quirky characters in a quirky Victorian London setting, trying to locate a murderer who stole something from you. Bertram kind of bumbles around, making quips at anything he finds, and eventually gets to his goal. The puzzles you solve along the way are shockingly easy, and nothing…

This is a point and click on rails, it's very much akin to a walking simulator. There is no challenge, no puzzles, no adventure or anything of the sort. You will not be stumped on anything at any moment. The one redeeming feature is that it's quite short from start to finish.

Here are the reasons I liked and didn't like the game: CONS 1: The humor in the game is all puns, sexual innuendo, british slang. At first I thought, okay I get, referential comedy and that was the whole game.... It was done in the worst way possible just shamelessly put in there. I only laughed once. 2: The Characters: They're written so poorly, I can't remember any character or personality traits of the main protagonist or supporting cast other than Sherlock holmes. I only remember…

This was a really fun game. It's short and easy point and click, with an interesting story and characters, funny humour, and easy puzzles. The animation is well done, there are some mini games that are easy but it doesn't really give you a heads up that they're there- they just start happening lol. I cant wait for the next episode, it looks like they funded it with kickstarter so it's been a while since, but it coming out soon. For the price point- you should get it!

OMG this game was so cuuuute! The voice acting is amazing, the cartoony style is my favorite, the music is a nice addon and the humor is on point! It's so easy to solve you won't even need to "think" let alone a guide! The only con is that it ends pretty quickly:( P.S. Heading to play No.2 right away!

A bit on the short side, but a fun point & click adventure game all the same, with a distinctive style, and excellent sense of humor, and some genuinely fun puzzles. Definitely worth checking out if any of that appeals to you, particularly the fondness for point & clicks!

I do recommend this game, but can only recommend this game at a sale price. I'm actually quite disappointing by it. It's interesting, but not particularly taxing on the brain, all the puzzles can be completed by just clicking on things and making obvious item combinations. I completed it in just over an hour, although I did use the fast walk between scenes, so I could have made it longer had I not. I was enjoying it, and was getting into it as it finished, but the idea of paying full price for…

Excellent game in terms of dialogues and storyline, but not so good when it comes to puzzles, since they're of a non-existent difficulty. Still, I very much enjoyed playing it and the dialogues were effusively funny. Also, it ends with a cliffhanger. Overall, it's a great and amusing game! Till next time, don't forget to point & click!

It's an episodic game and the first episode barely has any content. More of a graphic novel than an adventure game. Developers tried way too hard to be funny. Not really much else to say about this game. It's barely a blip in a sea of failed adventure games.

I like the idea of this game as I love these style of puzzle adventure games. However, I have to say that I was not remotely puzzled. I thought the solutions were obvious Whilst they tried to follow in the sucess of games such as the monkey island series, I thought this was short and simply far too easy! I would say that perhaps I am too used to these types of games but I JUST played Day of the Tentacle remastered and I was reduced to checking the walkthrough a couple of times when no amount of…

So I finished this game in a little over an hour, clicking on everything and doing all the puzzles blind. My feelings on Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode? It's okay. I found it very easy, one of the easiest point and click adventure games I've played and it's super short, fair enough considering it's episode 1 but still... was hoping for closer to 2 hours of gameplay. It's fairly funny, has its own flair and art style which is nice but I feel like I would've enjoyed watching someone play…

A short, very easy point and click game that's set in world that's a parody of the Victorian era, featuring a posey attitude and alleys that smell like a turd! Sadly, it was a mixed experience. Protagonist has no personality except that of your average satirical british gentleman, and his accomplice- Gaven, is not a big talker and his only skill and use is that he's... strong. Unlikeable characters, a big minus. Puzzles are also incredibly easy to figure out. Basically you click all the…

This is a very short first chapter of a series of mobile ported cartoony point and click adventures. As with most mobile ported games the interface is of low quality, fixed resolution that can't be changed to fit your display, and generally low resolution assets, again to cater to mobile gamers. Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to screw over PC gamers. On Steam, this is $5 USD, on app stores, it's $3 USD. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be…

Totally not what I expected. Was hoping for something that makes you think but the game is clearly targeted to a dumber/younger audience. Every single thing is highlighted if you hover your mouse, animations seem like .gif files, entire game seems just like an image. Money maker (MOBILE) in a niche point and click adventure games.

A good art style, funny dialogues and a solid storyline. Would recommend to any adventure player. In Bertram Fiddle, you are a Victorian era gentleman who must solve some mysteries. Fortunately you have a good servant to help you. He is a Cyclops but who cares about a missing eye? As you know, it is hard to a good servant nowadays. Thumbs up for this short funny game.

While playing episode 1 I did not feel I'd recommend it. The store-page calls it a "classic point and click adventure game" but it's so easy that a puzzle component is more or less absent. Not very classic. I then however played episode 2 (as realistically most anyone would) and that is in fact a bona fide classic point and click adventure game. With both episodes taken together genre-fans will find quite enough to like here.

The animation and voice acting were great, which was promising, but as a fan of point-and-click games, the puzzles were too straightforward for my liking. This was more of a short, click-through storyline really, which is fine, but not engaging enough as a game to want to play on to the next episode. Hard to give it a thumbs down though with animation this cute!

I am giving this a positive review, but the game was not really for me. The voice acting was great, and there were numerous scenes to interact with. The puzzles were a bit too easy for someone who might regularly do point and click adventures. I was not very engaged in the story. However, for a younger or inexperienced audience, this game would be really good to start on.

I have not finished this game yet, but after playing for a short while, I do enjoy it. The art style is funky and interesting, but I'd have to say that one of the strongest things that this game has going for it is the humor related to it. It is silly and somewhat unexpected, but I've found myself grinning after puns and wordplays are incorporated into the game. I'll keep it brief, like the game itself. A fun, witty point and click adventure/mystery game with puzzles that are intuitive and don't require a galaxy brain or going back to every scene to see if something has changed or combining objects in a way that doesn't make sense. For some it may be too simple, but it was perfect for me (I enjoy puzzles that MAKE SENSE, and I REALLY enjoy games where the next course of action is clearly broadcast and/or intuitive). I played this with friends in Discord (not multiplayer, to be clear, I just enjoy being heckled I suppose), and it was a fabulous game for people to watch and interact with in a group. The voice acting is funny and charming, and friends loved helping solve puzzles and making me click everything. This is a short (1-2h) and fun game, but probably not for everyone. I enjoy point & click games and British humor, so I bought the series of this game assuming it fit right up my alley, which worked out well. I generally enjoy point-and-click titles, but unfortunately cannot recommend this one. It feels noticeably empty as you can't click on many objects per scene, and you only ever pick up exact solutions for the very few puzzles you come across, meaning you don't hold more than two or three items at a time. It's also very linear, and tries hard to be funny while just not landing many punchlines. To the developer's credit, you can tell that a lot of care has gone into this game. The art is on…

A fairly standard point and click game for this age of them. The puzzles aren't too hard to find out, you can't die, and the protagonist is kind of a jerk. But everyone is either a jerk, crazy or both in this game, so it's not a big deal, and he's pretty humorous in his Victorian ways. Sadly the game's only around two hours long unless you get really stuck, and it ends on a cliffhanger. What's here is good though, and I've been meaning to check out the second episode to see if it builds on that.
