60 of 144 · most liked firstI saw this was an IO game, and searched for Yorg.io. I was pleased to find the original, with its addictive play and beautiful UI, allowing easy upgrading of an entire building type, maximizing it, or both with a couple button presses, HUGE maps and progression as quick as your economy can keep up. So why's this unrecommended? Because it feels like a downgrade. If you told me this was the first in the series, and Yorg 2.0(the one I found online FOR FREE with ads) was the successor? I'd have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really addicting. It's quite a challenge for people who remember playing YORG.io, but still. There are pros and cons but I'll list them out. Positives : Balanced Gameplay - the gameplay is quite simple and not too complicated. No-one can get confused, unless you have too many of one tower (Research Lab). But other than that, it's simple. Heads-Up - While playing, on the top-left, you can see the zombies that are coming toward you next. If you have research labs, you will have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really impressed. I love the art style, it's well polished and fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a couple things going for it but most of that is overshadowed by how unfinished it is. Single player can be fun with only a few bugs though i got tired of it because even with a good computer this game slows to a very slow crawl at later stages with too much even off screen to function. Multiplayer is unplayable for the most part due to server drops and game breaking bugs all throughout it. Worst part is that the game was abandoned to its bugs very shortly after release and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of those depressing sequels which make you realize the developer actually had no clue what made the original so good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trash the dev has abandoned the game and is useless on discord. Multiplayer doesn't work at all and the game is extremely hard even on Easy. Don't waste your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where is the difficulty ramp up??!?!?!? Its just an easy walk in the park then next round you get wiped of the face of the earth in a second. What a joke
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →**Do not get this!** This game is not worth your money, just play the web version. Yes i got this at an 85% discount, but the game is so unpolished and incomplete it's simply not worth it. The Sandbox lacks any features required to actually make endgame builds, you cant set the day (the level/difficulty basically), spawn certain zombies for debug, or even set your money to a true infinite. For some reason the dev decided that 1000-Octillion was enough (it isnt) due to how money scales…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last build 1596 days ago should say it all. The game has been abandoned for years and the game overall sucks because there is no balance, if you truly want to play it still just play the browser version. Also theres an achievement that says "So far you wasted 5 hours of your time. Congrats!" and it ain't wrong cuz it was definitely a waste. The fact it even has microtransactions is fking comical.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yorg.io is amazing.... Yorg.io3 is stupidly hard for no reason Easy mode and hard mode are the same modes. Keeping Yorg.io, unistalling Yorg.io 3
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those rare games where the original was better. If you like Yorg.io, don't get this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very fun game, but it has SERIOUS stability issues. Most multiplayer matches end within 3 minutes with a network disconnect. About half of the time it says I disconnected, the other half it was the other player. I I cannot recommend this game until this problem is resolved.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is annoying for many reasons. The hotkeys don't make much sense, though you can change them. The pacing of the game is probably the worst part, as there are spikes in difficulty without warning and at night time many buildings often get destroyed at once. That wouldn't be a huge problem if the "click to rebuild" was consistent and you didn't have to take so many steps to get the thing back to where it was. There are other problems, but I'll leave it there for now. I'm gonna keep…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very engaging, good replay value
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely recommend the previous iteration before this one. Controls are unintuitive, the enemy ramps up in difficulty way faster than you can keep up, even on easy, and having to guess where your resources are because of the fog is not a fun addition.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ranked Game is totaly useless, full of exploit users who try to get Master, You loose games when you defeat enemys becouse they know how to disconnect when they are looseing so you get the loose, totaly useless Ranked games. The Ladder is Win Loose KD which is unfair and bad the system is from 1995. Brainless developer If you like the offlinepart buy the game for 2 $ otherwise stay away, to many cheaters Exploit users and 0 support
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVe this game... I guess people will complain about anything. This is one of those games with: "Easy to learn, difficult to master...". Very Arcade-y and you are alway busy. Yorg 3 delivers what is promised. I recommend it :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think i might be in love with this little gem! I love open tower defense. And you can level the crap out of everything. Fun involved thoughtful building for the WIN!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Downgrade from the first, not really worth buying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just kinda worse than yorg 1 in my opinion. I do not like it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game looks fun on paper but dissapoints quickly, lacks content and get's boring quickly. Do not reccomend. If you want to try the game just play the free browser version as it's the exact same game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is surprisingly good! Its a mix between RTS, Tower defense, and most importantly... Its a zombie game!!! Its stupidly simple for beginners and shockingly hard if you want to get to those higher waves! Although there is one thing that's bothering me about it. The spawner boss zombie, says it in the name, it spawns zombies. But, it also has an electric arc that hits multiple buildings. And that electric arc that's whats bothering me! Why does it have a electric arc? Its a boss that should…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was fun for the first 2 hours or so and felt like it had promise for a new game, there was even mention of updates coming. It's been a couple months since anything has been done and feels like it just fell straight off. Have not seen any mentions of upcoming ideas so seems like there's no reason to keep playing it. Going to not recommend this game but would gladly change that if the creator keeps going instead of giving up.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →City building + Tower Defense = YORG.io 3 Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5_-u4Y156M
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought as a multiplayer game but it doesn't work for Australian Region due to no servers nearby
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is basically a mobile game ported to pc. For some reason the dev created this game in electron and not a real game engine.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A big step back from the original. I adore Yorg.io. I've been following development since November '18, donated to development, then bought the original steam standalone as soon as it was available. All this to say, I am invested in the game. But I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate yorg 3. It's ugly, it's noisy, it's inelegant. The original was a masterclass in minimalism while maintaining a "living" aesthetic, with items traveling around your base. They "pumping blood" of the base drew the attention while the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice game to spent some time BUT if you are a multi-player like i am, or if you like coops this is not a game for you First the servers lags so much witch makes it unplayble, second very quick matches. Overall in singleplayer 8.9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like my reviews, take a look at my curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/5504022-Hirntot-Zocken/ Yorg 3 is a quite simple game on the outside but can grind your gears on the later days. All you start with is a base and the ability to build mines that mine some crystal. From here on you branch out to other ressources, factories and defense buildings. After a while it turns night and until then you should have a tower or two standing that kill the first zombies, while you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Update 2019, game broke, for example stone isn´t delivered to ammo production and I got a plus from 45.000 in store, so no ammo, no defense fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know it's an old IO game. It has the potential for much more content. But I find that even as it is I have a ton of fun. I love that I can play at my own pace and upgrade ad nosium.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →as someone who bought this expecting to be able to play online mode i was severely disappointed to know that even though people can connect to it no one can actually play it. i think the way zombies spawn cause some kind of bug that makes them disappear back into the spawner. so until they fix it I will have to say this is a don"t buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun and confusing but once you understand it becomes another level of fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is so easy in the beginning and then gets impossible in later rounds. Really feels like an unfinished product lacking features and balancing. Do not recommend.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't like the art style and building, base expansion, upgrading buildings has become totally annoying. While it adds some more variety than its predecessor, it feels more clunky with a lot more micromanaging required. Better stick with Yorg.io!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →doesnt compare to the original yorg, the repeaters are annoying, cannons barely do any damage early game. upgrading research is a pain in the ass for the simple fact you cant upgrade all research of the same type building at once. High disappointment. I'll stick to yorg 1
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer towerdefense <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Game is under active development" and "Game is finished" are opposing statements. Its either one or the other. Although the game is playable, there are aspects of the game that are undeveloped, just says "coming soon". This is nowhere near finished. With the developer's big changes coming soon but with no definite release date, I recommend you to hold off on buying this until it is actually properly completed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To answer the developer: 'wonky' controls that I've mentioned was basically an issue of what seemed to be direct transfer of web-based game's controls with then-minor differences to the standalone interface, without exploitation of then-uncommon in web games right mouse button. Unfortunately at this point, 2 years later I am afraid I cannot provide more details regarding that part. Apologies for the issue. The warranty regarding P2W issue: While declaration by developers are more than welcome…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the yorg1, I was a little disturb on some new mecanics on yorg 3 but there is a lot of new interesting things : mods, multiplayer, achievement, multiple maps etc Test it to make your own feeling it is available online also :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YORG.io 3 is a hybrid strategy game that merges tower defense with factory-style resource management, developed by Tobias Springer and published by tobspr Games. Released on Steam in 2019, it represents the most fully featured evolution of the YORG.io concept, which originally began as a browser-based strategy experiment. At first glance the game appears deceptively simple, presenting players with minimalist graphics and a straightforward objective: defend your base from waves of zombies.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game keeps crashing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is pure garbage. pure mobile cancer gaming in pc. micro transactions, garbage UI... it's just bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i hope they make a yorgio 4 with more types of structures to build. i really like the game concept.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DON'T WASTE MONEY!!! Play in browser. It's a good game overall, but with it's flaws. Pretty repetitive. Exploding zombies and/or invisible zombies, bugged as hell. You get this bug every few games and no matter what you do and with everything upgraded they simply destroy your base because they either take 0 damage or the towers don't shoot at all. Annoying as hell when you're late game with all map covered and everything maxed out. The invisible zombies are bugged since 2 years ago and saw…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found the waves too fast and difficult on easy such that I was not able to experiment and build. I prefer resource management games to be about... resource management. So this was not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the way the games difficulty works seems broken. ill be doing fine grind up high level crystal makers and level 20 turrets then i put down a bunch of research centers then the next night everything always get one shot it goes from me one shotting the night waves to me just getting melted. which seems to mean that for some reason diffculty of the waves are generated based on the amount of research centers you have not just a normal night to night progression which makes 0 sense
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty not fun, There's problems as other reviewers mentioned... Please you should fix this game, devs. Why did you abandon that? I'm not wasting my time playing this game although I got this from bundle and 90% off. and Frankly in anger of the difficulty spike, I had to cheat just to get achievements. Heh, How did you like that, careless developer? You just had to add anti-cheat in that ALSO force us to disable achievements to upset an achievement hoarder like me... Come on...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest, its a decent game, but even on the easy difficulty i struggle alot. It gets really annoying to wait forever for your gems to pile up so you can make your 15th signal repeater, and it gets ridiculously hard in like 6 minutes of fast forwarding. And also, you can literally play this game for free with some limitations. Honestly, just play the .io variant, dont spend your money on this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I guess I might come back and change this, is I ever play it again, though the odds seem thin. From my twenty minutes of game time however, I was unimpressed. It all happened too quickly to get a grasp of the going on, even with the tutorial, on easy. There was no fluff that I could find. It simply wasn't fun. So two thumbs down.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First version was way better
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game bad, i played a 3hr matc wit me fren and gaem crash and i loes >:(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Downgrade (5/10) Good ideas with mediocre performance. Yes unlike original it's not just play with dots and numbers so visualy it improved a lot, there are some cool ideas too but the way these were used just doesnt work right. The first game gave you vast map, transparent economy and exact numbers about each upgrade and building stat while here you get shut in small map which you cant even see without expensive exploration. Better try first Yorg.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game absolutely sucks. The discount price is a rip off. Resource gathering is slow. You spend 90% of your time waiting on crystals, 5% building and 5% upgrading. the day time goes by super quick, you are pretty much under constant attack and cannot think which is the main part of strategy. The towers are so stupid and weak upon advancing you have to build a road of turrets along the way. The range is too short to protect your walls and the damage is too weak to do anything when you upgrade the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has no point of winning, just keeps defending without any goal but just to prolong playing the game, WASTE OF MONEY
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →thx for refound
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WTF???? The number design for the first in the series was so good and now i cant even play past day 20 on easy difficulty.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is hot garbage. It is basically an idle game with some tower defense features.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YORG.io 3 adds alot of funtion and utility from the free to play yorg.io. In so many ways it has "Improved" the work and coding required to do so is readily seen in the game. If i'm saying it is greatly improed, why don't I reccomend it? Yorg.io's art style wasn't an eyesore so this new artstyle as much work put into doest feel like much more additonally though many core mechanics have changed some changes are okay and others annoying. All in all compared to the still currently free to play…
