I'm mixed about this game. The concept is great, but the game fails. 1. If you manage to survive, the lag will make the game unplayable. 2. If order to survive you have to expand fast, the higher the difficultly level, the faster you have to expand which makes the game very challenging. The problem is over time your base will become HUGE making it very difficult to manage during night attacks when you can't built while pausing the game. As the monsters break through your defenses, you…

Awesome fun game idea. No resolution/ui scaling options, so on a 4k screen it causes UI element text to be tiny. Not worth the headache and damaged eyesight to play. So unfortunately I'll refund.

Pretty basic, not a lot of planning involved and the basic mechanic of the game is to add more and more sprites just lag your computer out until you can't progress anymore. They give you options to turn off the sprites but calcs are still being run in the background so it eventually catches up with you regardless

If Steam reviews had a 'maybe' option I'd apply that here. Not a bad game, but I found it very sterile.

Quickly hits a point where there's nothing else you can do. There's a hard limit on how many buildings you can place, so once you hit that limit, you basically just.... stop. Very cool game idea. Unfortunate they artificially capped it this way.

Just not a good game when it comes down to it. The "networks" for resource transport are more of an annoyance than anything else, and it becomes super laggy even after they are replaced. I ran this game on a 12 core dual thread 5000 series CPU, and a 3070 TI, with 32GB of 3600 DDR4, if you don't have at least these specs, just don't buy it. Also building is alright at first, but it quickly becomes annoying to expand and build the same things again and again, lacks variety, keeps you busy for…

It's fine enough for the price but plateaus in complexity pretty early and leaves you wanting a bit more. If I could rate this as a "meh" I would. Probably invest your time elsewhere like the Creeper World series or Mindustry.

An okay game. The game concept overall great just a grind the only killer is the games optimisation it recalculates all the transfer network when you add or remove nodes or structures so i was forced to wait a over a minute until the recalculation is done cause the game slows down. Just the network system needs to be reworked to only update nodes that need to be updated instead of recalculating the whole network again would make this game bearable. Would i recommend? No you can find better…

Great fun game, love the web version, and as of writing this I'm on day 310. On higher days, past roughly 250, it gets pretty laggy. I have a good machine and it gets 6 fps on late days (on 2x speed and with all optimization features turned on in the settings.) On early days and the 100s it gets great fps though. Other than fps on late days, its a great game and good to leave on in the background. 9/10 Would Recommend

you will probably master the game in 15 minutes, and then realize it's literally just about building as much as you physically can, and then waiting for the resources to come in to be allowed to build more in waves. enemies take far too long to pose any kind of threat, and as long as you just keep expanding the only limit is your patience.

this review is biased. The game is great but in the long run it can get pretty laggy and if you dont have a good pc then you'll be having a slow fps, all in all its good

It was nice revisiting this game years later. It is still an enjoyable experience and you can see how many modern games have taken this seed and moved it forward. Still worth picking up if you do not have it in your collection.

Fun game and for the sale price a must by for anyone who likes tower defense, and resource management. Its a small scope game I paid less than a dollar for. Great for listening to a podcast and shooting zombies. Cons - camera is wonky and never zooms in where I want it to - Laaaaaaaag builds as you get further in. Game has setting options to patch this, but no real fix. - multiplayer? there is a leaderboard but it never really seems to work. Also a chat, but can't seem to chat. - you quickly…

I give this about a 3 out of 5 stars. I love these types of games and it did entertain me until i lost at around day 50 but no matter how many transporters i used, i couldnt get distant crystals or resources to move back to the base so I was limited to what I could build/defend with. That being said, I feel like a smaller, more densely defended base would work better in this game anyway so trying to reach distant resources is kind of pointless since theres a limit on weapons deployable.…

This game is such a small gold nugget. The gameplay is very good, especially early on with a very neat spin on the good ol' io games and tower defense with the simplistic and dynamic logistic. I haven't had any performance issues with my Ryzen 5600x yet, and I don't think since I've max seen 20% usage on any thread. The teleport upgrade will probably make sure it won't be an issue extremely long into a game. I do wish the zombies had a stacking limit and would spread out across your walls…

The game is fun but runs really poorly. After about day 200 the game becomes almost unplayable without pausing the time and waiting for it to load in your base whenever you move the camera. There are some limited options to improve performance of the game however their effect isn't notable. The game is missing some QOL features and while the "advanced ui" shows resources it fails to show things like ammo production vs ammo use. Would be nice if the game could be improved.

It is a pretty good game, however you can play it for free on browser. This game is no longer updated. I would recommend this game for a quick play, but you really can't get more than an hour or two of fun out of it unless you enjoy the simplicity. Other than that, it's pretty much just what it seems.

This is a very basic tower defense game with supply lines which means you have to build a couple of transfer nodes and that's pretty much it. There is pretty much no depth to the game beyond this. You should really check the free version online because it feels inferior to most games like this on steam.

YORG.io is a deceptively deep strategy experience that fuses tower defense, base building, and logistics management into a tight, endlessly replayable loop. Developed by Tobias Springer and published by tobspr Games, the game challenges players not just to place defenses, but to design a functioning economy capable of sustaining those defenses against an ever-escalating zombie threat. What initially looks like a minimalist survival game quickly reveals itself as a careful exercise in…

Great minimalistic base/tower defence game, with surprising depth and difficulty (if you want to play on higher difficulties). It feels great for the first time you play it but then for me it got really tedious really quick. The constant expansion means you need to re-organize the base a whole lot as you go, and it got to the point where it's more work than fun. Other than that, great game for great price point.

This game is incredibly engaging once you dive in; you start playing and find it hard to pull away. It quickly reaches a stage where your options become limited. With a strict cap on the number of buildings you can construct, once you reach that threshold, the gameplay essentially comes to a halt. It's a fantastic concept for a game.
