Stylistically: Pure 1980s neon tinged Tron meets Nightmares (the Bishop of Battle.) Grid lines, modern re-imaginings of vector graphics rendered in 3D and lit with bold colors. Essentially what you see in any of the screenshots is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Style, aesthetic, music, graphics: 10/10. Gameplay: 2/10. Where am I in relation to everything else? Where are my bullets going? Where is the gap in those lasers, where is the hoop to go through for the powerup? For, you see, I am moving around and the track is moving around and the camera is moving around. So I don't know. And this is tiresome and bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really tried to like this game. Everything about the game is great, then the camera comes in n' ruins everything. It keeps wobbling n' waving about, making everything look really cool, but it makes it hard to make out exactly where you are.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great rail runner/shooter, in a 1980's cyberpunk aesthetics with great synthwave music. I appreciate the Linux support 10/21/17 EDIT: I knew this game remided me of some classic game, and now I know wich one: Space Harrier for the 16 bit Sega Genesis. Exact same gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this kind of aesthetic quite a bit with the hacking and color pallet. Definitely feels pretty good to fly around and blow up enemies for score. You want to make sure to get that multiplier up! You'll want a controller and sometimes the screen can get a little cluttered. GRIDD is a simple + fun arcade game. This is a formal video that explains the game and my thoughts thoroughly, https://youtu.be/6ZWX7eWQTnc
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really an awesome game let yourself go in an 80's cyberworld https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap_xBAE3c8g
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best game in the genre. I was hoping somebody would pick up the neon/80s/neon and mix really hard that bag. Needs David Hasselhoff.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Vintage graphic style, fast-rhythm music soundtrack, retro citations, frantic action and a lot of fun. All the above only to say one thing: Gridd: Retroenhanced is an amazing game! Antab Studio has been able to demonstrate that is no need of large investiment or a huge team to make a great product, but a good idea and a lot of passion for this work can make a difference. If you like action games, buy it and you'll have fun for sure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing cross between Starfox and Devil Daggers. Gun for that highest score and don't stop. It's a nonstop arcade shoot em up that gets harder and harder as time goes on. Made it to 7606 KB so far , look forward to beating it. :-) On another note, the game's soundtrack is really addicting. It's a high octane 80s synthwave that gets your pulse going and fits the sci-fi theme perfectly. It's really hard to believe the game is only a 68 mb download.. if the game itself doesn't impress you, the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a rail-shooter that is Star Fox-esque, with Tron-like presentation, using very simple and tight controls, and it includes an incredible Synthwave soundtrack. I cannot recommend this game enough. God bless this the developer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off.... play with your steam controller! Keyboard seems to be more difficult to work with in my opinion. Conclusion: The game overall is pretty good. Soundtrack is great! The synthwave in this seems to match the flow with the game and it works great. If anyone is worried that the game isn't challenging, I can say the game is, it does start off kinda slow at first, then things get interesting. Game was well worth the money spent, I hope there is more for this game in the future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having a blast with this game so far! Interesting art and vibe, need to pick up a controller to take full advantage. :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is great and pushs you to go further. Worth ever moment of game play and ever dollar spent. Simple YET Powerfull, the way games should be!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game eats your quarters as you try to master it. It's Starfox but you're hacking the Gibson. Exactly the sort of game you'd expect to find at an arcade in the future if you were a character in Ender's Game or Neuromancer. Gridd doesn't hold your hand. You fail and then adapt from what you did wrong. You will be clumbsy at first. If you learn fast, you'll reach a little farther with each go. It's not for kids who aren't up to the challenge. Gridd forces you to develop your skill and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mix 3 parts Tron, 2 parts Star Fox, add in a VHS filter and AESTHETICS ( lol ) thats GRIDD in a nutshell. randomly created levels, intense gameplay. the system increases your firepower as you maintain a high combo without being hit, when you get hit a few times, the powerup decreases, as more hits come in, you lose your sheild. and then you are down to energy only. you can recover sheild, and energy by going through rings, too. You are hacking a system, and those elements come into play…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid game with amazing style/immersion, but not that much content so maybe wait for 50% discount before you grab this one. Video, if you'd rather watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7WKQsPkoWk About the Game Gridd is a neon-cyberpunk game, where you control your craft and try to “hack the system,” while avoiding and destroying enemies. Behind simple concept there’s a good execution with well-detailed and thought out neon 80’s-like style. Think of Tron, a 1982 movie. The style of the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc4eyDZq9nk&t Plot/Overview: There isn't too much story here, this is a shoot'em up game set to a hacking backdrop. Avoid lasers, barriers, and enemies while racking up a high score. Menus: The menus have a really nice retro asthetic, like you've just stepped back in time the mid 80's. It has your stand array of options, music and sound sliders, Y-axis inversion, video settings, and language settings. Music/Sound: This is the strong point of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely love the game on the Switch with gyro control. Will GRIDD use the Steam Deck gyro control? Also when docked, I would like to use the gyro control on the 8bit.do Bluetooth & 2.4 GHz Ultimate Controller (long name; I didn't do it). This game would really show off the benefits of the Steam Deck. An option for ultrawide monitors and 4k would be swell too. Great game. It should get more attention!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gridd's fun, and Gridd's beautiful, but it's not easy and will be frustratingly repetitive for anyone who isn't inclined to replay the same patterns over and over as they constantly die for whatever reason. It starts very easy. You can hug the walls and get hit by nothing at all for a good minute or so. You don't have to shoot anything for a while. The lasers are somewhat simple patterns to dodge, and the yellow walls never seem to get in the way. It gets harder to dodge things as you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a must have for all the retrojunkies and arcade fans around. The soundtrack is superb, and everything feels neat and polished. The camera system has been wisely studied to add a lot to the action. Visuals are excellent: the choice of colours and effects is THE retro eyecandy you always looked for. The pace is fast but not insane (at least in the arcade mode), so the game is suitable for casual gamers also. Using a gamepad is definitely recommended. Endless mode is dope. Purchase it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! This game made me go back in time. If you are into retro-action games, you should definitely play this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This retro-enhanced grid adventure is brilliantly nostalgic and super addictive! 💾🎮 Navigate pixel-perfect puzzles ✨ with vibrant visuals, challenging levels, and satisfying power-ups. The remastered retro feel keeps it fresh and fun for puzzle enthusiasts!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GRIDD: Retroenhanced, developed by Antab Studio and published by Kongregate, is a fast-paced neon-drenched shooter that feels like stepping into a digital fever dream. It’s a love letter to the arcade classics of the 1980s but filtered through a modern cyberpunk aesthetic that turns every moment into a spectacle of light and sound. From its first seconds, GRIDD establishes itself not as a traditional space shooter but as an intense, visually explosive experience that tests reflexes, timing, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →can someone make a mouse mod for this game? I think moving with a mouse would make this majorly better for me to play. its why i bought it on PC after trying it on Switch. I thought you could move with the mouse :( It's also hard to tell where the character is due to the camera, but the camera makes it cooler. AWESOME music, AWESOME retro style. i'm fully immersed. I wish it had a level picker. I managed to get the third boss fight (the one after big face guy uses Centipede dragon's gun). I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In this video I take a look at GRIDD: Retroenhanced a cyberpunk on-rails arcade shooter. I found this one to be quite well made and worth taking a look at. Initially I was getting thrown about a bit but it's easier the more you play it as you learn it's defensive strategies so each play through you'll do better. I begin my video at my second attempt as my first was a complete mess ;( . Your attempting to hack a system with your flying vessel and it's defenses are trying to stop you. It has a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun to play. Looks great. Sounds great. Get it if you like arcade shmups.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What started out as a simple review from woovit turned to love I LOVE THIS GAME! the camera shifting the gameplay the way everything works in the game is so clean and just feels and works very very good it all came from a simple review on woovit i was assigned! AAHH
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An awesome Modern take on a classic retro arcade style shooter hacker flying game like Tron. The music and menu sounds are very loud thankfully can be turned down, the menu has a sweet retro styled look to it and seems to be all unlocked except endless mode of which i suppose you have to get to a certain stage in the arcade mode or something to unlock. Controller and Mouse and Keyboard support which is awesome, i highly recommend playing with a controller. Definitly worth a look.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely Frakkin GORGEOUS. Its 80's, its Neon, its Punk, its Pop, its Synth, it has MAJOR head nods towards 1982's Tron, (They did impeccible work with the voice, akin to 1982 Tron's Master Control Program. EVEN THOUGH to my best knowledge they did not use the same voice actor). Its Hard Its Furious Its Aggressive AND IT HATES YOU. But its fair. every thing you do, you do. Not the game. Sure it has some very choice camera angles that make things a tiny bit hard, BUT NOT…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast paced arcade game with cool graphics and music, nice controls and top it with some cyberpunk references. Hack the planet!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely astonishing. Literally a trip in the 80's, with an awesome soundtrack and a marvelous skill-based gameplay. 10/10 I regret not buying it at day-one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite not having played for very long, this game seemed really gorgeous in its appearance and a real trip to play. From the menus to the last enemy, everything is nicely polished and feels good. Graphics is capable of capturing you fully but still manages to keep what is happening on the screen clear. Soundtrack is nuts. The game is not long, but it's well balanced, and definitely not easy. It's a little arcade gem, if you are in doubt about buying it or not, well don't doubt, just go for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unusual gameplay style but that is good, i liked, and that visuals effects make this game a genuine cyberpunk game. Check out my gameplay, and join the Indie Army, be part of this family. :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV9VS0T88n8
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun 80's style arcade shooter. Really captures the feel of all those radical computer animations from the 80s and early 90s.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice polished game . A little difficult to get used to the controls but once you get the hang of it, after a couple turns, it becomes really fun to play! Highly recommended ^_^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing arcade, shoot 'em up game that gives you an adrenalin rush!! The combo neon and synthwave music completely takes you into the game. The gameplay is brilliant in its "simplicity" and makes it hard to stop playing!! Once you finish the arcade mode you can unlock the endless mode which is insane and possibly addictive! XD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, this game is absolutely gorgeous and the sounds exactly like it looks like it will sound. Basically it's a linear progression of dodging and shooting with frequent bosses. Each time you get a little better and a little farther. You can snag power ups and health along the way, but taking too much damage downgrades your weapons. Simple game, excellent presentation and that's about all there is to it!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GRIDD: Retroenhanced, the first videogame I’ve co-designed and developed, is currently listed in the “Games in Italy” #SteamSale promoted by #IIDEA. ^^
unlabelledView post →The Good: It's a nice looking game with a pumping soundtrack. The Bad: A camera that makes the one in the 3d sonic games look good. It can be nigh on impossible to work out if you're actually going to collect that power up, or dodge that obstacle. It also has a very loose auto aim (there is no mouse support, though with the camera issues it would be nigh on impossible to accurately aim anyway) which tends to prioritise reflective enemies over enemies you can actually damage, and the game likes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fly, die, and repeat! See how far you can get in this retro style shooter! Takes getting used to with the odd camera angle, but after you get past that its a great game to play and waste time with! https://youtu.be/M0peC_jB7rA
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly fun, addicting gameplay, with a killer synthwave soundtrack! Fans of Star Fox and Space Harrier should love this!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gridd Retroenhanced is actually a really great vaporwave modern game. The soundtrack is super epic and the gameplay is super smooth
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is beautiful and a lot of fun. If this game got a VR mode i would probably live in it! PLEASE GIVE US A VR PATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super fun especially if your fans of TRON

I would recommend using a controller for Gridd instead of a keyboard. Avoid…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →These camera angles suck!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Control wise it reminds me alot of starfox and audiosurf, The random genned track is new each time which is fun and interesting. My only complaint is theres mabye 5-6 enemies i could consider bosses or any amount of challenge. The music while some great listening Is a bit limited and can draw on a bit, But is easily fixed by putting some lazerhawk or raydar on. 8/10 arcade classic with a challenging endless mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have no clue what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on, but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[disclaimer - I work for Kongregate but have nothing to do with the game or the developer, I just legitimately like it] A short, difficult, but engrossing shooter. It's almost more of a puzzle than a shooter though - it's a series of challenges that you grow to understand over time. It's short, but it is a carefully-crafted experience that has a lot of brilliance in the level design.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a cool game, with a catchy soundtrack and lots of 80s vibes. It is not easy to get good, but it gets addicting. Although it is possible to play with wasd, I totally recommend the use of a pad.
