positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello Everyone, It is time to test your hand at a series of intricate plate-based puzzles to find out it you have what it takes to escape. This review will be covering the first game in developer Konstructors Entertainment’s Wayout series, “Wayout”. Since introductions are over, we can begin. Wayout is a puzzle game that has players go through a series of pressure plate-based puzzles in order to advance through game’s levels. Players will have to change the active colour plates in the game to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WayOut is a puzzle game where you have to get all the tiles to face down. When a tile is pressed, its adjacent tiles also get pressed. There are 6 variants of puzzle tiles and they get increasingly harder. Never have I felt so defeated by a puzzle game... I definitely did enjoy the pain though. Definitely recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: I expected a lot more from this game. I was pretty familiar with its main mechanic, and I could easily get a grasp of the additional ones, but I got more frustration than fun out of it. Initial levels were as I expected. They were basic and fun while also teaching the core mechanics. Although this was the case, the levels got pretty aimless as I progressed; they felt random. They were like a few levels put in one high level, which I hated since there is also an aim of completing a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starts simple enough, then you feel like on Maths class after you've skipped couple of lessons, except nobody is going to explain you anything, because there's no tutorials. Every time game introduces new mechanic you get to click on 1-2 buttons, which supposed to explain you how it works, except you have no clue how it's gonna synergize with other mechanics till you figure it out by randomly clicking bunch of times. Makes you go on clicking rampage, then to give up and go look up a guide.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a mobile app lazily ported to Steam. It's a minimalist puzzle where you must tap tiles on your mobile/tablet screen until all the tiles match the same colour. Mobile crap doesn't belong on Steam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great casual puzzle game based on "lights out" mechanics: each square can assume 2 states, on or off. Toggling the state of one square will toggle the state of the neighbouring squares as well. The goal is to turn them all off. WayOut introduces some twists to this mechanics, like some squares which only toggles left/right neighbours, or marked squares which remotely toggle other marked squares. As most puzzle games, this one starts easy but starts getting devilish complicated. At the end,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like puzzle-games, but this one is a bit too hard. I recommend it to all people which have more patience than me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made and published by Konstructors Entertainment and GrabTheGames, I was wondering why this game's called "WayOut" when it's about turning all the buttons on the board off, until I saw that it's based off the logic game "Lights Out" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lights_Out_(game). I suppose they call the title that because all the puzzles are provided by a "map", in which completing one puzzle unlocks the path to the others until all of them have been cleared. Here's the good points for this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well crafted puzzle game. Has a lot of great puzzles which were nice and easy to get through. Awesome game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞: Today we have a rather pleasant and interesting puzzle in front of us. It seems that Wayout requires the same thing everywhere – to poke at certain keys in order to turn the entire available keyboard into the right color, but it always finds a place for diversity. The gameplay is quite easy, we just have to click on the cubes until all of them on the field are closed. At the same time, the player is limited by the number of moves for an ideal passage. The game has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really well crafted puzzle game with awesome atmosphere
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awfully hard despite the simple looks. Sequence of pressing the right tiles. Domino effects on every action, adjacent tiles reacts. " The more you press, the worst it gets ". If only there is a 'rewind' previous move action key. Achievement awarded as long as each stage is cleared, even if didn't 'perfect' the stage. But in order for Final Stage and bonus 10 stages to appear, all stages must be perfected. Despite hours of staring at the puzzles, a dozen of them unable to perfect.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really hate playing this game. It's a very well designed game that pushes your logical ability way past what I'm capable of. I would even go as far as to say this game is the very definition of a really good game. You'll probably never beat it though. When you do, please tell me how enlightenment feels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I find the core mechanism fundamentally uninteresting, which is something I didn't know before starting, and I agree with another reviewer here that these puzzles just end up feeling like brute force trial and error. I went through several puzzles and not a single one engendered that "Aha!" moment that I believe to be essential to any effective puzzle game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a fan of puzzle games but I can't wrap my brain around this one. The levels get so hard really quick and I end up pressing random squares without really figuring out what I'm doing. I'll give it a positive review cause it's a cheap game, easy on the eyes and it's a consistent set of levels with the same mechanic. If I've had to describe this I'd say it's like solving a rubiks cube without knowing anything about it. But rubiks get fun cause you can learn how to solve them, not really…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played on Steam Deck. I'm not the biggest fan of 'Lights Out' puzzles and got this game to get better at them, and I feel like I am more comfortable with them now. Each of the 6 zones introduces a new mechanic and I didn't really enjoy any of them but you really do need to add a little something to not just string together a hundred regular lights out puzzles! The music is good and the background animation is nice, so the quality here is definitely worth the low price. What did strike me as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great little puzzle game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! Has very interesting mechanics and a LOT of levels But WOW can it get difficult. I ended up using a lot of guides, especially for the achievements of "level in least amount of moves", but I finished the secret level unguided and that felt good Overall very fun, would absolutely recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and surprisingly fun. I don't even need to play for long to enjoy it, which is something I love. Just mess around for a while and occasionally unlock something new. Each step is a little achievement that give me a sense of satisfaction :). Overall rating: 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wayout is an ok casual puzzler. As someone who tries to complete all achievements in all games, I slogged through Wayout. The puzzle type is simply not to my fancy -- a personal dislike for the program's nature vs. anything intrinsically wrong with the program or puzzle style itself. The music is somewhat run of the mill for this style of game and the colour pallet was somewhat garish -- having a bit of an EGA vibe at times (though there are of course more colours than those but that magenta…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wayout is a very fun and addicting puzzle game. Highly recommeded for who love complicated puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A well balanced game in terms of difficulty progression though all stages. as some puzzles seem simple at early levels quickly increase in difficulty. Highly recommend for players who enjoy puzzle and are able to keep their fustration levels low.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game has a very relaxed mood. although puzzles themselves can get difficult, there aren't any hints, and i'm not a fan of "solve this puzzle before you can move on to the next" thing: i tend to get stuck and then there's no choice but to quit the game and hope i get a revelation next time i open it (or to check the guide for a solution) which means i can't play for long. however i like the visuals, calm music and subtle sound effects, and ofc there's nothing quite like the feeling of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels like it should've been a mobile port. The gameplay loop is perfect for short sessions on a phone, but it lacks the depth to justify sitting at a desk and playing on a PC. Doesn't feel right on this platform.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WayOutThe core mechanic of WayOut is to flip tiles to clear the board, it starts pretty boring but as each section introduces a new mechanic it becomes a lot more logical and fun. GameplayFlipping a tile flips itself and the surrounding tiles, the levels that solely use this mechanic are very reliant on trial and error without a guide, luckily these are mostly limited to the first section of the game before new mechanics are introduced. Each section adds a mechanic that change how tiles flip…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's no explanation of how to play. You open the game and there's no text, you just see a bunch of cubes and decide to click them. Then you realise what the game is but how you are supposed to actually play I have no idea. I got through about 6 stages by randomly clicking. A game could be made with no explanation but this game definitely needs one in my opinion because this game is like someone just yeeting a Rubik's cube at you and trying to telepathically communicate that they want you to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game starts off simple then slowly your brain will turn into mush leaking out of your ears. Can't wait to start on the second game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was an incredibly interesting game, definitely worth the money spent to buy it and really gets you genuinely thinking. The achievements align very well with what I wish most games were because when I actually completed the game I had all of them. I would say it takes around 2 hours or less to complete unless you are me who did stuff with the game open and came back to it. I would also consider playing this game again surprisingly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool little puzzle game, easy to learn how it works, but difficult to master. Some of the later levels in particular get pretty difficult to complete, especially considering that to "complete" the game you have to do each puzzle in the minimum amount of moves. Be prepared for your brain to hurt! But very satisfying when you work them out.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a sucker for a puzzle games and this one hit the spot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool puzzle game, with lots of levels and a fair amount of diversity and mechanics. Some puzzles can get very complex, so this is good if you're looking for a challenge. Sometimes I feel like I don't even know how to approach some setups, so either the game is kinda crazy or I'm just a dummy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love hard puzzles . Soundtrack is cool and enjoyed the atmosphere also . No bugs in the game but there is no story also which makes the game a little bit boring .Also the idea behind this puzzle is not new . So 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems like you can pretty much solve each puzzle by absent-mindedly clicking.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding it very hard to learn techniques for this game, feels like far too much random clicking about for me. Level design seems to try to lead you through techniques, but doesn't seem to get it quite right. Nice music though, but is the only thing keeping me from getting too frustrated with this button pusher.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took too long to beat for my liking. I don't feel like I grasped the concept by the end. And I had to use notepad&pen at the end. This is more of a mixed review. It is a cool unique puzzle game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Switch off all tiles using the least amount of moves, a little bit difficult but interesting. Relax, clear your mind and find the way out. Good colors and UI design with smooth BGM. I do hope that my brain is enough for WAYOUT 2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a nice puzzle game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall Rating 5/10 Way Outs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little puzzle game! You can easily pick it up and drop it off at any time so if you're looking for a game you can play while waiting for something else this is perfect for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wayout from wayout series. Simple boxy push puzzle. Bought it for 25 cents on sales. Easy at first more and more chalengging towards the end. Seems good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not actually a puzzle game. trial and error memory simulator
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly recommended! You start with a simple ruleset where you push a tile and all adjacent tiles switch. Then you get some new tiles that have special mechanics, like tiles that can raise other tiles but not be raised by other tiles, but the game never loses that core mechanic, and MAN does it get difficult sometimes! I loved it, what a great challenge.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wayout is a minimalist puzzle game that proves how much challenge and depth can emerge from an extremely simple concept. At first glance, the game looks almost overly basic, presenting players with abstract boards made of interconnected tiles that react when activated. The objective appears straightforward, but the further players progress, the more the game transforms into a demanding mental exercise built around logic, pattern recognition, and careful planning. What starts as a calm and…
