At the beginning, it`s easy to go throw the levels, but as you move up it becomes really challenging. Also, because you solve the puzzle and you can see other people or friends that solved the same level just a few milliseconds faster... that can drive you crazy :) The music and sounds are really good, because it`s like ambient music and that let you concentrate on the game. Until the white planet is activated...…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game quick to finish, not only because of the total playing time, which can be about 2 hours depending on the attempts, number of players and if we want to complete the game (marathon mode, all stages with 3 stars, etc.), but also because of how fast and enjoyable it’s to repeat or beat the stage without wasting time with loading screens. It’s a very fun game, both for the physics-based gameplay and coordination when solving the puzzles, and for the adorable sounds, voices and phrases of the…

However, they need a little help from the player to reach their goal, a simple one click interaction toggles and moves level elements to pinball planets to where they need to go. The gameplay has some major issues with player uncertainty when it comes to what happens when they interact with the level. Elements move different amounts and different speeds resulting in a lot of…

Like most mobile-style puzzle games it is incredibly easy to pick up and play but you will keep coming back to certain levels to hone your timing in order to get those coverted 3 stars and a higher spot on the leaderboard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmIOrgX9Ig4 Obviously the app store is awash…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very enjoyable game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games. Some gameplay spoilers ahead. Description: Tales of the Tiny Planet is a casual physics-based 2D puzzle game where you need to move one or more balls (planets) using different kinds of mechanisms to push it to the sides or up, while avoiding obstacles, until you reach the goal (black hole). The graphics are simple: on the foreground the objects you can use have only one single, bright color, while the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good enough to keep your attention as you work through it, but nothing mind blowing. Some levels feel like the floaty physics can be inconsistent though with chunks of trial and error. Overall for an hour or two worth of puzzles it's just fine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda fun mobile like game that you can grind 3 stars on all the levels, great time waster
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →102. Tales of the Tiny Planet The least-popular game of Steamcember 2024, knowing how short it actually is attracted me back to beat it in my own time. This is a rather simplistic ball-rolling puzzle game. Takes like 2 hours. It’s charming though, I like how the little planets talk.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales of the Tiny Planet is a console ported minimalist 2D retro physics puzzle game, the kind you normally see glutting mobile app stores. You have to guide a ball as it falls down a number of platforms and obstacle courses. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic vector art used to make the game, which makes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little gizmo game, I like that it doesn't wait to get fun, like games that give you half a game of baby levels before turning up the heat. Unfortunately it didn't work on the Steam Deck but whatever.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first, thought the game was rather boring, but then I continued and the urge to want all 3 stars for each level just nagged me on. The puzzles are fairly simple, but the player has to do them in a short time in order to get those stars. Gives a sense of adrenaline with the 3rd star especially. Music waves calm energy as one plays the game until the White planet hits and the tables turn. It's a fun chilling game for those who want a bit of a challenge on the side.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abosuletly exquisite game. from the pinball physics to the rage quit capabilities and the realisim of being a ball with moving planks all around you. really goes to show how much thought went into this game. 10/10, perfect game

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales of the Tiny Planet is a physics-based puzzle-platformer developed and published by Pixelsplit that builds an entire gameplay experience around simplicity, charm, and clever mechanical design. At first glance, it presents itself as a lighthearted and almost minimalist adventure, following a small planet on a journey to reconnect with its scattered companions across a series of imaginative cosmic landscapes. Beneath that gentle premise lies a thoughtfully constructed puzzle experience that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I spent more time wanting to throw myself into the black hole rather than getting that damn planet into it. But I must play more just to get the cards.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →...and that's where planets came from. The End.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales of the Tiny Planet may look like some bad indie game, but once you play it, you'll see the sheer effort that was put into every level. Everything is tuned to the pixel so that it's hard to perform shortcut tricks. Your time is shown on an online leaderboard to give you extra sense of accomplishment when you pull off what seemed impossible. In rare cases a bit of luck goes into it as well, but rather than unfair it feels more like a reward because of how tight the margins are and how much…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so addicting, I can't believe I just found out about this game. Without even noticing I had already played for over an hour which seems to be one third of this game's average play through time. I hope they make another one or something similar. The sound effects and music haven't gotten annoying yet. It feels like this game was intensely play tested. I was genuinely excited whenever I was able to beat a level with 3 stars (which is what I always aimed for) It reminds me of the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A challenging physics puzzle. World 5/6 are very hard, especially marathon mode achievements are annoying. Still cute and enjoyable.
